I wouldn't use the words 'event horizon', as he can still continue working and developing himself. But Copy, you totally did develop yourself a style. Just like early Penny Arcade and modern Penny Arcades, you made a look of your own in your art. Whether you're satisfied with that is entirely up to you.

Chipping in with what Loki said, there's a difference between becoming a successful artist and a capable realism-drawer. I don't think Mike Krahulik (Penny-Arcade), Anthony Clark (Nedroid), or Charles Schultz (Peanuts) could draw the way that a lot of the artists I follow draw even if you gave them 24 hours and a $1 million reward. It's difficult to draw with anatomical accuracy and to make it look good, to give it the right tone, depth, and texture. However, it's a separate skill completely to develop a unique style ... and some would say every bit as important, maybe even more so. There are thousands of artists capable of drawing in photo-realism ... but how many of them do you know by name? That's kind of the Catch 22 with art: because reality is all around us, those artists who replicate it best tend to be more quickly lost in the crowd than those who have quirks or stylistic choices which define their artwork. Like Loki says, whether you're happy or not with where you are is 100% up to you. And if you're aiming to be the next Michelangelo, then all the more power to you. But if you just want to "draw well" in the sense of "I want my art to be admired by others," then you may get there a lot sooner than you think.
Or, judging from some of the posts here, you may even already be there.

I wish I could draw like that. :/
I have no artistic talent outside of graphic design. At all. |

> Ethereal: Alchemize. You create the STYLISH COMPUPHONES. You start to listen to some of your favorite music when you are rudely interrupted by your client player and fellow Derse dreamer. Spoiler: show no, this isn't supposed to go in the skaiabound thread, i'm just doing this one panel

I'm actually planning to change Skaiabound a bit so that the only people playing are UPNers who read Homestuck. That cuts down the amount of people QUITE A BIT and lets me assign everyone canon titles. New list: Spoiler: show
