I got to tell my brother about Extreme Evoboost. Eevee is his favorite Pokémon. This just might be what gets him back into the main series games.

...Welp, lycanrock being version-based and not either a Dark or Ghost type was disappointing. Kinda like the name, though, even if it doesn't exactly fit Midday form all too well!
The monkeys are pretty interesting, though. The sun one gets to take on a fallen comrade's ability? Cool, if not a touch worthless in singles. And the Moon one gets Mimic for the ally? Pretty neato, even though it's in the same boat as as Passimon(?) in that regard. Also, is this the first pokemon to get Telepathy outside of HA's? Admittedly found the dance for pikachu's Z-Move pretty cute, but don't really care beyond that. Eevee's, on the other hand, was pretty awesome... but kinda wasted on it. Shame it's unlikely that it's evolutions will get it. Trainer customization is officially go! Of course, the internet already noticed that, but at least it's finally been acknowledged! |

It's unfortunate but that Z-move gives a half-decent reason to use Eevee in ASB.
Dark times.

Nope. Elgyem and Beheeyem hold that distinction.

So that Chinese leak from months back has been super accurate so far, even down to the 'rugby monkey'.
There's a few things it wasn't completely correct on but it nailed a lot of announcements so far. I'm so fucking hyped for [pokemon leak] Spoiler: show |

So to whoever is interested in leaks and rumours, I just found out about a Chinese leaker who's been posting clues about upcoming Pokémon with apparently some being correct.

Hmm, the more I see the Lycanroc's the more I like the Sun one really. Moon moon has a nice design, but Midday suits me better, and a signature Rock-Type priority move is too good to pass up.
And from all the reveals, my team so far would be: Rowlet Midday Wolf Type: Null Vikavolt Sandcastle Passimian Though this will change for sure, as I doubt any of these will be able to learn Surf which I'm sure we'll need.

I don't know if HMs are even gonna be an issue, though. Poké Ride seems to be potentially replacing them.

How do you mean? Near as I can understand, you don't actually use your own Pokémon for Poké Ride- it's more like the Pokémon get rented to you temporarily, I believe.

@MM: Oh it's going to be like that. Didn't read much about Poké Ride so guess that's my bad than. But if that's how it is, it's both convenient and disappointing...

For those of you who cba to read the list, the Hoenn mons are (spoilered because it's a pretty hefty list):
Spoiler: show 79 mons. Given the Kalos dex had 457 mons including legendaries, that equates to basically 76 mons from each region, give or take a few, 79's not far off expected. But then again I recall a fuckton of Kanto mons in there so... My (very) rough sums for 'number from each gen' are: Kanto: 121 Johto: 61 Hoenn: 79 Sinnoh: 52 Unova: 72 Kalos: 72 Draw what conclusions you will.
