UPN PASBL: Midgeorge vs. BlazeVA

Midgeorge(C) vs blazeVA(A)
3v3
Singles
Equilevel
72 hr DQ
Return = KO
Slapstick
Arena: Uhh I dont care, Lawn if nothing else

Let's keep it simple, Lawn- This battle between two people that I've battles before, and who are trying to make the jump from experienced but average, having battled both of them, this battle can go only positively for both. The victor, and the loser both hope to get to that next level of ASB prowess. Let's see how this goes.

MidGeorge, squad plox

I haven't battled you yet :s

And sorry but I won't be posting my Squad for a while. It takes about 5 minutes to open up this page alone and this internet could conk out at any second. So when I have more time and patience to wait for it, I'll post my squad.

Either way, good luck Blaze and thanks for reffing FW.

So the internet finally picked up speed and I've managed to make a half decent squad.

Totem: Level 1 Baltoy
Kurai: Level 1 Male Croagunk
Johan: Level 1 Male Bagon
Reiko: Level 1 Female Frillish
Tsukihi: Level 1 Female Vulpix
Kaiki: Level 2 Spiritomb

Thanks for reffing this Firewater. I greatly appreciate it. And good luck Midgeorge. I am pretty impressed by this squad. You've managed to shut down most of my team with it.

Marche: Level 2 Male Graveler(up-level)
Signature: Paladin Heart, Fighting Body (FIGHT)
Marche is now a Rock/Fighting type, with all the weaknesses (Water, Grass, Psychic, Fighting, Steel, Ground), and resistances (Normal, Bug, Dark, Fire, Rock, Poison). He has learned the moves Bulk Up and Close Combat. He also loses the moves: Focus Punch, Fire Blast, Bulldoze, and Rock Slide.

Flandre: Level 1 Female Zubat
No Sig

Beserker: Level 1 Male Machop
No Sig

Ritz: Level 1 Female Nosepass
Special Training: Fire! Blizzard!
Ritz has learned the moves Fire Spin and Ice Beam, and can use each twice a match. She loses the moves Fire Punch, ThunderPunch, Ice Punch, Earth Power, and Magnet Rise.

Francesco: Level 1 Male Beautifly
Signature Training: Super Dancer
Francesco has honed his dancing skills so much, that his dances are almost harmonic with nature. When he does a Quiver Dance, he gets more Special Attack from it, equivalent to a Nasty Plot boost but with a drop in Special Defense, gaining no boost, and it will clear his mind ala Calm Mind.

Millennium: Level 1 Male Ferroseed
Special Attack: Whip Out! (Grass)
Using a significant amount of Grass energy, Millenium creates a vine that attaches to the ground. He then spins around fast on it, enough to gain a considerable amount of momentum, and launches himself at the opponent, dealing moderate damage. He then rebounds back into his Pokeball. This is a Grass typed U-Turn.

I raged when I found out this was the lawn. ;; The few Pokemon that weren't covered in this squad I could use. Oh well.

Millennium, come out!

Oh, I was expecting Shuppet. Alrighty then.

"I see your cheap strategy and raise you this. Johan, destroy.

Scare him with your fearsome Roar, then scream at him some more with a Hyper Voice."

Round

And this battle begins once again, as a Ferroseed and Bagon appear on the field, raring for battle. Bagon gets the first move, Roaring loudly. However, given the only size difference between the two is that Bagon has about 50 pounds or so more weight, and Ferroseed has spikes, it's not particuarly effective. Bagon makes a really loud noise, the Hyper Voice doing some damage to Ferroseed, who for some inexplicable reason attatches a vine to the ground, and after some spinning, smashes himself into the ground, to be replaced by a Nosepass...

and the round ends.

Results:

Bagon, no damage, energy use was not terrible

Nosepass is perfect

Ferrothorn took significant damage, energy use was not bad either.

Start off with a Rock Tomb. If he is not trapped, give him a Stone Edge. Otherwise, Rock Polish.

Oh god my predictions were right

"Rock smash right out of the back of the tomb so he doesn't have a clear shot for Stone Edge. Dragon Dance whether he can see you or not."

Round- Rapidfire for everyone

the new Nosepass grins, and traps Bagon in a Rock Tomb. Bagon makes an obscene amount of noise as he Rock Smashes the tomb and walks out, but since he's small and stuff and he and Nosepass are loyal to a fault, no Stone Edge comes, but then there's a lot of dancing and polishing, but Nosepass doens't like its polish much.

Results:

no damage to Bagon, it has fighting energy, Dragon Dance boosted

Nosepass nook minor damage, Speed boost from Rock Polish, used more energy.

Technically nosepass shouldn't have rock polished since Bagon wasn't trapped, but thats not a big concern.

"Charge him with a Dragon Rush. If you manage to get some flinch hax then Rock Smash him afterwards, and if not thwak him with a Dragon Pulse."

*nosepass could not physically see Bagon leave, which is why there was no Stone Edge*

Angered by the trickery, Nosepass waits, until a charge begins, and as the Dragon Rush occurs, it fights back with a Head Charge, the two moves causing a powerful collision, that would be more epic if they were larger or something. But an explosion happens, and as they recover, more attacks are fired, Bagon with the advantage thanks to Nosepass' recoil, and a Dragon Pulse smashes into the rock type. but then Ice Beam from left field, for mass damage, but no freeze, both pokemon looking battered as the round ends.

Results:

Bagon took catastrophic damage, and is already a light bit under the midpoint. Energy use was high, but it has plenty left.

Nosepass took lots of damage too, but is in better shape, he's a good point into the second quarter, energy use was huge, may be tired. Ice energy is at half.

Ears. Pokemon have them.

"You have the speed and you're a bit less tired, so you should have enough time to blast straight through that pathetic little wave with a Hydro Pump. Then smack him upside the nose with a Rock Smash, although if you're somehow Paralyzed, throw out another Dragon Pulse."

*at the same time, they are loyal to the point of stupidity- not seeing an opponent means no action even if they can hear.*

Anyway. The Rock pokemon is kinda tired, takes a break, launches a Thunder Wave. The Dragon decides to punish its foe, and a huge blast of water appears, and promply stops the puny electiric attack for mass damage. Nosepass isn't too amused, but doesn't do much, other than try and avoid the stubby arm that's suddenly strong enough to Smash ROCKS LIKE NOSEPASS.

Unfortunately Nosepass takes tons of damage, but Bagon's lol tiny, and its arms are worse so it doesn't die just yet.
Results:

Nosepass is near dead, that was an obnoxious amount of damage. Electric energy's fine and he's fresh but most decently powered things kill.

Bagon took no damage, energy use was massive, you get half of a Hydro Pump at best, Fighting's still ok. He's tired as hell.

Factored in DD boost with the rock smash? And also wouldn't Bagon use Rock Smash with his head? Just wondering.

"You'll get your breather soon Johan. Throw out a Secret Power whilst you're close. Another if he doesn't go down."

*yes DD boost, not head, Head = KO*

The Bagon's still pretty tired, tired enough to where Nosepass fires an Ice Beam in an attempt to prolong its own life. The problem for Nosepass is that while the ICe Beam deals massive damage, the big headed Bagon isn't dead. As a result, Secret Power occurs, and well, one pokemon falls and doesn't get up.

Results:

Nosepass is KO'ed, Blaze, next poke + attacks

Bagon took tons of damage, in its final quarter. Energy use was light, got a break.

"Since Sludge Bomb is a dispersed attack, you should have time to put up a Rock Tomb around yourself to soak up most of the damage. Then Rock Slide them at the poor flying type."

Yep, I'm going with that old combo

The final pokemon from Blaze, is a Zubat, who grins in the air and chatters eagerly, well enough since its daytime. Zubat, being much fresher launches tons and tons of Sludge Bombs, they collide with Bagon, who attempts to protect himself from the barrage, but he takes tons of damage, though the rocks appear.

Zubat isn't too thrilled, but he charges a Hidden Power, that even as it flies forward, the Tomb explodes into a Rock Slide, which collides with the power. Fortunately for Zubat, some of the rock damage was weakened by his Hidden Power, Unfortunately for Bagon, what little of the Hidden Power got through the rocks was enough to finish him off.

Results:

Bagon's KO'ed, Midgeorge, next poke + attacks!

Zubat- took a lot of damage, though reduced, still in first quarter of health, energy use wasn't too taxing.

This round is complete and total tot but Bagon would've gone down next round anyway so idm

"Nice work Johan. Tsukihi, you're up next.

Wrap him up in a Fire Spin, and charge an Extrasensory please."

Since he won't be able to see you, Fly up to the top of the Fire Spin(or however high you can go) since I don't think you can do Samus Charge Beam-style on attacks. Then, boost up with Nasty Plot.

And the next pokemon that appears is a Vulpix, who eagerly awaits her orders. Zubat grimaces, and then sees the fire. All of it in a giant vortex of destruction or something, the Fire Spin surrounds Zubat. Seeing no escape, Zubat decides to Fly up, flying higher into the flames. Regardless, Vulpix can only see bits and pieces of its foe, and even then, it fired low, not expecting the movement. However, the introduction of a new energy, the missed Extrasensory does enough to explode the Fire Spin. Now free, and up high, Zubat Nastily Plots for some damage to come.

Results:

Zubat took good damage, energy use wasn't terrible, has a Nasty Plot boost

Vulpix took no damage, used a lot of energy, Psychic energy's still ok.
