Celestial Cruise Discussion
Celestial Cruises are currently at a standstill and right now I'm wondering whether or not to start Tidal over from the beginning with a new plot, or to continue from where we left off (when the old UPN died on us :/).
As a matter of curiosity, I'd like to know what current SS Tidal passengers would like to do. Begin again, or keep on going. Interest was waning anyway as there were a handful of replies to the last update which was posted several weeks before UPN went down, so I'm happy to start over if that's what you'd prefer. As for the purpose of this thread itself, it's the same as before. Cruise discussion. See if you can figure out what's happening, etc... So yush *snips ribbon and opens thread*

I would like to continue the SS Tidal campaign, but restarting it doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
I can hardly remeber what was going on in the original plot line, so I vote for restarting. Of course if the rest of the crew votes otherwise that's fine as well. |

I don't mind restarting or continuing. Just whatever works for the rest of the group.
I remember that we'd split up into groups and were investigating the suspicious crew, and trying to get our pokemon back.

Alrighty, I'll restart the SS Tidal Cruise with a new storyline. Shame really, since I had a nice plot set out for the other one.
The SS Anne Cruise will not start until the Tidal Cruise is over, so if you're willing to reply quickly, I'll do my utmost to update quickly. There is only one problem though. Of the original 12 passengers, four are now missing due to inactivity. The following members (in red), will need to be replaced so we'll be drawing the tickets in the usual manner in the Casino. Anyone who is a passenger on the SS Anne cannot apply for the extra positions available on the Tidal Cruise, while new members are welcome to try their luck. 01) Alilatias 02) Dark Duskull - Confirmed 03) quilava plush 04) Zami 05) Arc_Angel - Confirmed 06) John's Knight - Confirmed 07) Waterlight 0  Dark Fire - Confirmed09) Shiny_Magneton - Confirmed 10) Shinjara - Confirmed 11) Joshua - Confirmed 12) ZoraJolteon- Confirmed In addition, any current passengers who don't think they'll be able to reply promptly are asked to please step down as soon as possible so that we can add the extra ticket/s to the Casino draw. If the Tidal doesn't have 12 active members, she won't be leaving port. If current passengers are ready and willing to go, please let me know in this thread. If you're on the active list and don't reply, your position will need to go to somebody else. I'll have the Casino post ready shortly, so good luck ^-^

I see a lot of newbies paying 20 coins for the chance at a ticket, but ... unless I'm mistaken, isn't the Celestial Cruise another form of Zone? a.k.a. isn't it a waste of 20 coins if somebody who hasn't graduated from the Arcane Realm yet goes off to buy a chance at a ticket for a Zone adventure?

I see. So ... even if people can't RP properly yet, it doesn't matter? Then I guess I'd have to ask what this event entails. I read the Celestial Cruise thread, and it sounded like an RP adventure. I read your first post in this thread, and you make reference to "plot" but not any reference to prizes or cash. I read the Jirachi's Casino post, and again, no mention of prizes to be had. So ......... if this is an RPing adventure, I'm slightly confused why you don't mind RP newbies like us mingling with RP experts like the rest of the board. And if it isn't an RP adventure, then ... I'm inquiring as to what it is.
Anyway, don't mind me too much. I'll be out of the country and out of reach for 2 weeks come Monday, meaning "June 17" is right out.

While I appreciate your curiosity, just take my word for the fact that this is a special event and that anyone can apply for it. I'm not concerned with how long someone has been with FB, this cruise is something that will not be repeated so I'm allowing ANYONE with the exception of those who already have tickets for the next cruise (which will have a different storyline), the opportunity for a chance to take part.
It is an RPing adventure, but it's not a zone adventure. If you haven't seen what a cruise entails, then wait and watch until it all unfolds. It's a mystery cruise, and nobody other than the updator of the cruise knows what is going to happen. All of our previous records are gone, and when the mystery cruises were first brought in nobody knew what they were about but still wanted to take part. Why? Because it's a unique event. Please leave this thread open for replies from current passengers at the moment. I don't want to miss any posts in amongst other chit-chat. When the cruise begins, and the storyline begins to unfold, the thread can once again be used for its initial purpose.

Now that the S.S. Tidal passengers have all posted their confirmation, I'd like to check and see who's still around among the passengers for the S.S. Anne, both so I know how many are still active, and so Tessie can see who's on the Anne in regards to the tickets for Tidal.
As Tessie said, the Anne won't start until Tidal is finished, and faster replies mean faster updates.
