Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Yeah. Oddly enough, only Gardevoir learns Wish (at level 17) while Ralts/Kirila learns Lucky Chant and Gallade learns Fury Cutter (also at 17, even though Gardevoir is like a L30 Pokemon and Gallade is at least L20).
Gallade is best as a hefty Special Defense/Physical Attacker. Switching it in on non-SE special attacks and attacking with heavy physical ones. It's still fragile in terms of defense and it lacks very good speed and if you want to Choice Scarf it, Medicham becomes the stronger option (unless you're facing Rampardos). After 2 hours of searching, I have not seen a single Growlithe on Route 201 or 202. Uncommon is an understatement. Fuck you Bidoof and Starly, I want a Growlithe. *runs off to try and find an Elekid* |

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Somebody granted my request for a Level 40 or higher Gabite in exchange for a Level 1 Turtwig. I had to wait 4 days for it to work, but hey, I was in no rush. All I need now are Garchomp (4 or 8 levels away, I forget), Drapion (24 levels away), and Prinplup+Empoleon (3 levels away from Empoleon, delaying evolution until @ or past Level 34).
I really wish you could request creatures you've never seen. I see all these requests for Mewtwo, Mew, and Celebi, and I'm all like, "Shit :x, what am I supposed to do with these Azelfs I've collected?"

Where do Gible reside? I couldn't find them when I went into Wayward Caves and led the little girl out.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
I got mine in a trade from SI, but I'm pretty sure that Gibles are inside Mt. Coronot at the part you have to use Waterfall. You know, the part you saw as a blatant Waterfall at the time before you got the Waterfall HM, and you thought to yourself, "GameFreak, you fuckers ..." because it would take you hours to get back to this point.

They're in a little cave that has its entrance hidden by the cycling path overhead.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Really? That's the Wayward Cave Loki was talking about, then. (It's the cave where you first get Bronzor, and escort the little tiny girl out of the dark. The only cave in the entire game to require Flash.)
So what was beyond the Waterfall I was talking about, then? A TM? An Arceus plate? I'd say "a Legendary? :3" but I know better.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Go to where Wayward caves are, but don't go inside. Go to the left under the bike path. Keep going up while going left. Eventually you will go into a door and that's the secret entrance. It goes into a basement and then at the end of it, you find TM Earthquake.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
So earlier I put up a Quilava on GTS in hopes of netting a Japanese Quilava (or should I say Magmarashi? :P). A few hours pass and I check back on GTS and receive a Quil that, while not Japanese, is shiny. I figure it's hacked and shrug because it's nifty, and when I check its stats... yep, obvious hack. It's level 10.
I'll still keep it around because yay, shiny Quilava, but come on, people. I personally don't care whether or not people hack, but if you're going to do it, at least try to make it look like it was legitimate. e_e And this is why I fear doing the cloning and trade evolution tricks- nothing like seeing your shiny Dusclops w/ Reaper Cloth being whisked away and having a Lv.01 Infernape in return.

2. If you manage to get ahold of Darkrai/Shaymin/Arceus, ask for one of those in return, since all three are currently "banned" on the GTS.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Question: I know American D/P is region coded on Pal Park, but if I got a Japanese Emerald, then traded the Japanese Emerald Pokemon to an American Gamepak, could I transfer them through Pal Park to the American D/P?

Thread of me trying to trade for a Togekiss using my EV trained Dusknoir. How the fuck do you know what "EV training" is yet have no fucking clue how Pokemon stats work? The mind boggles.

I would have stopped talking to him once he made it clear that he had no f-ing clue what EVs, IVs, and what they do.
I assume you cloned your Dusknoir before selling it. |

That's the only reason I put up with the little shit. The Togekiss has a different OT than the guy I got it from, which explains a lot.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Awesome.
After a bajillion years of Gible hatching I finally got an adamant one with 30HP/31ATK/31DEF/31SPD. SP.A is like 4-7 and SP.D is 0-9 but who cares about those. >.> Also I found this sweet guide that makes egg hatching for IVs easier. HP Loves to eat: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Often dozes off: 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31 Often naps: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Often scatters things: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Likes to relax: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 Attack Proud of its power: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Likes to thrash about: 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31 A little quick tempered: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Likes to fight: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Hot tempered: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 Defense Sturdy body 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Capable of taking hits 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31 Highly persistent 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Good endurance 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Good perseverence 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 Special Attack Highly curious: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Mischeavious: 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31 Thoroughly cunning: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Often lost in thought: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Very finicky: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 Special Defense Strong willed: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Somewhat vain: 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31 Strongly defiant: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Hates to lose: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Somewhat stubborn: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 Speed Likes to run: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 Alert to sounds: 1, 6 ,11, 16, 21, 26, 31 Impetuous and silly: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 Somewhat of a clown: 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 Quick to flee: 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29 It will always go in order. So if something is tied for 31 you will see "Often Dozes Off" instead of "Likes to Thrash About" if it has 31 ATK too. Its nice when breeding cause I went for 31atk+spd with a parent having 31def also (which I didnt care if it passed or not, but I got lucky). So I tossed any that were just "Alert to Sounds" because both parents had 31 speed and I got that one alot. The "Likes to Thrash About" where the ones that possibly had both or more. OH YEAH Does anyone have an Explosion TM yet? I asked in a wherever I could and pretty much nobody has. :/ I want to dupe a couple to use + have for later on but it's super ultra rare. :/ |

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
What odd luck! Just a couple of seconds ago, I got 12 bonus rounds straight in a row in the game corner. And guess what the prize is for 10 bonus rounds in a row?
TM64, or as you guys might know it, TM Explosion. So, yeah. I just got it. If you are copying one be careful, I sort of like it. So, yeah Locks, as soon as I get home (at a cabin right now), I'll trade it to you for a bit. Edit: Huh, super ultra rare? Odd. But cool! I got a super ultra rare? But what do you mean by it being super ultra rare? Anyone get how the new game corner works? I got that once a ball appears, you have to try and get some pokeballs or sometimes it works with a pikachu. Then you get either the galactic symbol or the 7s. And then you repeat the clefairy's motions to get repeats with 15 coins. And if it is a red moon, you don't listen to the clef. But what controls when and how the clefairy appear? What is the difference between shiny, ditto and normal? What does a white moon mean? What controls how long the clefairy stays out? |

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
Someone told me yesterday that you can buy TM64 (Explosion) at Battle Tower, but the price is really high or something. Someone double check that, as I still don't have access to that.

Re: Pokemon diamond and pearl.
No 64. The "really high" ones are
64 BP - TM 81 - X-Scissor TM 30 - Shadow Ball (fk that) TM 53 - Energy Ball 80BP - TM 36 - Sludge Bomb (fk that x2) TM 59 - Dragon Pulse TM 71 - Stone Edge (80 bp... :/) TM 26 - Earthquake Some of those are pretty dumb but stone edge is nice. Go go gadget dupe! |

Yeah, I didn't see it listed anywhere so I think he might have mistaken it with like an MT in Emerald or something.
Oh well. Congrats AF on the 10+ Bonus Clefairy Rounds. |
