So I did one of those "make a list of your top albums" thing and this was the result. It's not in any particular order. Opinions are more than welcome!

Utada Hikaru - Nijikan Dake no Vacance ft. Shiina Ringo
Both Utada and Shiina are among my most favorite artists and to hear them finally collaborating on an original song... all of my yes. |

That's cool, deo! I know pretty much... none of that music, but I like getting to know your tastes!
I wanted to join in, so here's a listing of my top albums! Right now, I'm listening to Arashi's newly released "Are You Happy?", naturally. :D Loving it!

I reckon it's awesome to see the music you two (Deo and ABL) like, especially as I don't really know most of it. Decided I'd post my top 10 albums (in no particular order), as I doubt many will know of even one of them.
Spoiler: show

Holy shit. I'm in love with a band I just discovered, Ki:Theory. I've evidently heard their music before and didn't realize it. They seem to be heavily used in a lot of television and cinema promotional works, but I sat down and gave his most recent album (and its remix album) a full listen through after recently hearing their wonderful cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence in the new Ghost in the Shell trailer. I honestly didn't hear a single bad song on that album - they were all really, really solid. They're a weird mix of alternative music and electronic music.
Here's their total reinterpretation of Ben E. King's iconic Stand By Me: Last edited by deoxys; 11-16-2016 at 11:37 PM. |

Unfortunately, Get Low is a bit boring musically for me, and suprisingly (after digging around Youtube for abit) a lot of other songs of his follow suit. I'd like to hear more songs similar to Cavalier from him. |

Daa la laa la laaa (this is Old PTX, complete with masc mitch and kevin's little wispy beard) (if you dont follow PTX then get OUT of my FACE and also my LIFE until you do) Also while this is Christmastime and you should be listening to their Christmas stuff, their Daft Punk cover and arrangement is easily the best out there. Their cover of Technologic is IMO better than the original. Spoiler: show |

Stolen Dance - Milky Chance
Funny story, missed the chance to see these guys in like 2014 because I wasn't 18 and they performed at a bar. I'm still salty about it. Also ayy I did that top 10 albums thing. I wouldn't consider that a definite order but it's as close to an order as I can put them in. I like my indie/alternative tresh. Spoiler: show

Pop isn't usually my thing, with the exception of Beyonce and Lady Gaga (slaaayyyy mommy monster), but I've been absolutely addicted to Perfume lately.
Don't understand a WORD but oh lord. Their voices are great, the DJ behind them is amazing, it's poppy without being irritating, and the techno beats are just juicy. Highly recommend them! Oh also their choreography is spine-tingling. It's seriously incredible. My favorite is probably Cling Cling (great music and the best dance) but I'll link a few more because honestly I love them all. Can't believe I've never heard of them before. (Polyrhythm)

so like Modest Mouse is totally my favourite band, went to see them back in 2014 and it changed my life. Back when they were releasing their newest album Pitchfork did an article about the top 100 best Modest Mouse songs and this one was right at that solid #1 spot. Well deserved in my opinion, its a great song and one of the better ones on this particular album.

They opened with like Different City, but like they played a lot of their really amazing lesser known tracks. The encore was Dramamine and before that was Cowboy Dan. Majority of the concert was stuff from Lonesome Crowded West, which I was absolutely okay with. I wished I could've crowd surfed, that would've been amazing. But, alas, they actually preformed in a little Opera Theatre here lmao.

Right now I'm listening to the music from Titan's "Overdrive" megademo. One: I didn't know the Genesis could do stuff like that. Two: The accompanying music is fucking amazing. It almost sounds like a Commodore's SID chip at times.
