We'll start with Thunder (110 BP, 30% chance to paralyze the target) here, for that sweet, sweet paralysis chance.
(Buizel is holding Aegis of Frost, which should reduce physical damage done to him by a bit.)

Umbra shivered as a chilly breeze blew across the rocky beach as the Spheal rose out of the water, its goofy grin at odds with the wild and insane look in its eyes. He couldn’t help but feel a twinge of nervousness at the sight of the massive Spheal, the red glow enveloping its body making it all the more threatening. But as he looked around at his fellow raiders and his trainer, he felt his nerves ease a little. He wasn’t alone, in fact, he had some powerful allies on his side by the looks of it. With a shout from the trainer of the Pachirisu, the battle began, the electric squirrel charging the pinniped with an electrifying tackle as his partner human commanded. The Riolu followed shortly afterwards, striking the Spheal with a force slap of its palm as its black belt billowed in the wind, along with the Buizel, whose body flickered as it unleashed a powerful blast of lightning. Umbra had never seen a Buizel before, but it didn’t look like the sort of Pokemon capable of firing off a Thunder. The Mr. Mime came next, draining away the spherical seal’s health with a furious punch. And then, it was his turn. “Alright Umbra, we’re up. I think Giga Drain is our best option here,” Sil said. The Pumpkasaur nodded, eager to fulfill his trainer’s command, and show that he was still in top shape after the last raid. He inhaled deeply, steadying his nerves as he tasted the salty brine in the air, before lunging forward. Green orbs formed around his body, circling the gourd on his back before flying off to strike the Spheal, its squeals of pain indicating they hit their mark. Bolstered by the successful attack, the Pumpkasaur raced along the beach, taunting the Spheal to attack him. Sil watched Umbra nervously, feeling a strange sense of foreboding. Giga Drain (75 BP)

With the festive season just around the corner, Zak had decided to sign up himself and Spunky the Tynamo for a raid with a rather more Wintery feel. This wasn’t the man’s first time visiting Typhon’s Depths to challenge a foe from deep within the murky waters but he knew that this was going to be a whole different battle anyway, having faced off against a colossal Dragapult there in recent months. Today, though, the man would be joining his fellow raiders against an asteroid-sized Spheal that had shown up.
As Zak arrived at the familiar battleground, he noticed that he was the last one to arrive to take down the spherical pinniped. This didn’t bother him, though, it was better to show up late than not to show up at all. Despite this thought passing through his mind, he gave a coy wave to the other raiders and grabbed for the ball at his hip containing Spunky without wasting another moment. Between signing up for the raid, the man had transferred a number of his teammates into Friend Balls and the Elefish he was accompanied by today was one of the lucky few. With a quick click of the release button, the tiny fry appeared in the air before his trainer and buzzed a hello to the man. “Okay Spunky, today’s the day: not only your first raid but your first ever battle. Don’t let our enemy’s size throw you off, you’ve got this.” The impromptu pep talk from his trainer seemed to ignite the Tynamo’s battling spirit and he started to crackle with excess energy before the man’s eyes. Though he was young and inexperienced in the ways of battle, he definitely seemed to make up for that in enthusiasm. “Time to show that thing your Charge Beam (50BP + Magnet).”

Dynamax Boss Spheal ★★★ Health Gauge: 84% Shields Up: 0 Status: [Confused, Aqua Ring, Hail (4 Turns Left)] Trainer Status: [N/A] Raid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Hailstorm (140 BP) SpinyShell, Pumpkasaur: 0 HPAttack 2: Aqua Ring (0 BP) Attack 3: Whirlpool (35 BP) ChrisClark, Riolu: 247 HPRaid Challengers:
The battle begins with a flurry of attacks chipping away at the Spheal’s blubber. The ball-like seal retaliates by summoning a powerful Hailstorm that the leafy Pumpkasaur quickly succumbs to. Spheal then summons a swirl of water around both itself and the Riolu, damaging the Riolu while replenishing itself. The trickling of falling hail seems to bother all on the battlefield with the exception of the icy mime and the Spheal itself, both of which seem replenished by the weather instead. Dynamax Initiative: King Ghidorah, Mr. Mime-Galar

The Spheal did not take kindly to Umbra’s childish taunt, its normally cheerful face twisted into more a scowl. Clapping its tiny flippers rapidly, the pinniped summoned a massive hailstorm which was bolstered by the unnatural storm created by the overflowing Dynamax energy. Hailstones began to fall, injuring both Pokemon and trainer alike, as a numbing cold spread over the battlefield. Umbra began to shiver, the cold seeping into his body and sapping his strength, and interest in the battle. However, before he could wander off looking for warmth, the Spheal let out a series of harsh barks and squeals as it gazed up at the sky, snapping Umbra back to the battle. Confused, the Pumpkasaur looked up only to see a giant ball of ice descending on him. Too slow to leap out of the way, he was crushed, the Max Hailstorm taking a brutal toll on his body. Sil gasped and raced over to the Pumpkasaur, wishing and hoping that her fears would be unfounded, that the Pumpkasaur would leap out of the crater alright. But when she got there, all she saw was Umbra’s crumpled form, unconscious. Mentally cursing, she returned the frog to his Dusk Ball. This was supposed to be an easy, laid-back raid! She hadn’t expected such a brutal attack on the first round, especially not one that felled Umbra so easily. She sighed with frustration as she looked at her fellow raiders’ Pokemon, eyeing to see which one needed the most help. She eventually settled on the Riolu--not only did it look the most worn, it also had a swirling whirlpool around it. After she healed the Riolu, she sat on a relatively dry rock and hoped Umbra wouldn’t be too upset when he recovered. Cheering to heal Riolu.

With individual attacks ordered, the raiding party’s Pokémon launched into action against the globular seal at once. Spunky followed the lead of a number of his fellow monsters, delivering a magnet-enhanced Charge Beam to the Spheal. Though the hit landed successfully, the Tynamo did not manage to achieve the attack's secondary benefit. This didn't discourage the Elefish, though; he was happy to have landed a hit on the beastly seal at all.
The Clap Pokémon wasn’t going to take these hits lightly, though, summoning up a Max Hailstorm and bringing down a mighty flurry of ice upon one of the raider’s Pokémon. Unable to withstand such an effective hit, the Pumpkasaur fell to its knees, marking the first incredibly swift knock-out. It didn't stop there, either, as the Spheal quickly surrounded itself with an Aqua Ring before summoning a Whirlpool around one of the raider's Riolu. Though the Spheal had taken a decent fraction of damage, the hail it had summoned was now serving to replenish the pinniped even further than the Aqua Ring it had cloaked itself with. Luckily, though, the same could be said for one of Spunky's fellow raiding Pokémon with the Galarian Mr. Mime feeling the benefits of the storm upon its skin as well. The Tynamo on the other hand didn't have the same immunities, succumbing to the icy winds that the seal had whipped up around the battlefield and the raiders. “Stay safe out there, little dude - once you spy an opening in the storm, try launching another Charge Beam (50BP + Magnet) attack at that Spheal!”

As the attacks upon the Spheal continued to chip away at its vital hitpoints, the spherical pinniped was quick to produce a series of protective shields to surround and guard it from the raiding party, at least whilst it got the chance to recuperate some more in the storm and fortify its defenses further. With a defence strategy in place, the Dynamaxed Clap Pokémon began its own assault upon the raiding Pokémon, forcing a powerful blizzard across the already hail-bitten landscape before unleashing an epic Max Quake attack.
Much like the last round in the battle, the icy winds conjured up by the Max Hailstorm served to further supplement the health of both the Spheal and the Galarian Mr. Mime that was facing off against it. The same couldn't be said for the remaining members of the raid party, though, with Spunky the Tynamo feeling the biting chill of the hail once more. "Hope you're not feeling the chill too badly out there, Spunky." Zak shouted through the hailstorm towards the Tynamo who was awaiting his next command whilst simultaneously eyeing the giant shields in awe, "I know you're only tiny but you've got enough zap in you to take out one of those shield panes." This revelation seemed to excite the Tynamo and he began to crackle once again with anticipation, turning his attention to the array of glassy panels that were serving to protect the gargantuan Spheal whilst he awaited his trainer's order. "Let's try another Charge Beam (50BP + Magnet) and hopefully that'll get you pumped up for the next round too!"

Sil watched as the other raiders’ Pokemon attacked the Spheal, feeling a twinge of satisfaction as they avenged Umbra with each shattered shield. However, her happiness was quickly sullied when the pinniped responded with a freezing Blizzard, the bitter snow storm biting all the more due to the already cold temperatures caused by the hail. The Spheal then slammed the ground with its flippers, sending a rumbling Max Quake at the Buizel, perhaps punishing it for its unexpected Thunder strike. Sil felt the Dusk Ball on her wrist wiggle--it seemed that Umbra had finally recovered. She pressed the orange button, and in a flash of purple and green the Pumpkasaur appeared, facing away from her. She held her breath. The last time Umbra had fainted in a raid, it had clearly shaken him. She could clearly see his small grey body cowering in pink grass, covering his eyes, in her mind--would he respond a similar way now, she wondered. What had happened to him was undoubtedly terrifying, especially for such a young and inexperienced Pokemon, she wouldn’t blame if he was scared. However, it seemed her worries were unfounded, Umbra turning to give her a big, reassuring smile. His collapse in the other raid had taught him something: that fainting wasn’t the end of the world. While it was certainly unenjoyable, he still recovered last time. And he could recover now. He turned back to the Spheal, glaring up at it as he prepared to attack once more. He’d show this icy pinniped that it wouldn’t get the best of him.
