Gigantamax Boss Pikachu ★★★★★ Health Gauge: 45% Shields Up: 8 Status: Def +2, SpAtk +2, SpDef +1 Raiders: Safeguard (2 Rounds) Arena: N/A Weather: Rain (2 Rounds) Terrain: Electric (1 Round) KOs: 3 Raider Healing Summary: Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: Full Restore Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: 500 HPRaid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Knuckle (100 BP) Lil'twick, Dragonite: 0 HPAttack 2: Surf (90 BP) Sneaze, Alolan Raichu: 0 HPAttack 3: Signal Beam (75 BP) Zorchic, Palpitoad: 340 HPRaid Challengers:
Determined to take the boss down, yet more attacks begin to fly, accompanied by a Full Restore to heal Venusaur and clear the Grass type of status. The attacks that make it through aren't quite enough to push the boss to put up shields, at least, not until Flygon unleashes a massive Max Quake, shaking Pikachu to its core and and causing it to throw up shields again, and granting Special Defense boosts to itself, Palpitoad, Raichu, and Dragonite. Unfortunately, Raichu once again finds itself too infatuated to do anything. The boss pulls one of its fat arms back for a moment before reeling forward with a Max Knuckle, striking the Dragonite and tallying up this raid's first KO. But certainly not the last as another Surf washes over the group, taking out both Raichu and Pichu, while bringing Flygon insanely low. Finally, a Signal Beam strikes Palpitoad, dealing the first actual damage the Pokemon has taken so far before healing from Aqua Ring occurs as Infestation ticks the boss. Dynamax Initiative: Sandaa, Flygon.

No burn? No problem! Let's just break a shield with an Earth Power (90 BP).
(I forgot to mention this for the past few rounds, but Palpitoad is holding Mummy Bandages.)

Whilst Zak tended to Nancy the Venusaur’s wounds with a Full Restore, the remaining raiders continued their barrage of attacks against the Gigantamax Pikachu. Despite their best efforts, though, the monstrous mouse does not seem all too fazed, choosing not to set up another circle of defences. That is until the similarly Dynamaxed Flygon launched its ordered attack against the rodent, unleashing an epic Max Quake below the beast. As the ground shook beneath it, the Pikachu quickly mustered its defences once more to prevent any further damage.
Much like the previous round, the Raichu found itself entirely enchanted by the rotund rodent before it once more, preferring to admire the beast instead of attacking as it should. Eyeing its chance to finally retaliate against the raiding party, the Gigantamax Pikachu throws back one of its chubby arms in preparation for a Max Knuckle, which it swiftly delivers with a smash into the Dragonite. With this attack, the dragon finally succumbs to its wounds and is knocked out. The mouse isn’t done yet, though, once again summoning a surf to hit multiple raiders at once. This attack works even better than the Max attack as it manages to knock out both the infatuated Raichu as well as the Pichu. In one final movement, the Gigantamax Pikachu delivers a Signal Beam to the otherwise untouched Palpitoad and with that the round comes to a close. The raiders suffered more than ever in the latest round, managing to temporarily lose two of the party thanks to the Pikachu’s skills with summoning the surf as well as the Dragonite succumbing to a mighty Max Knuckle. Despite this, Nancy was looking in much better shape than she had done and Zak hoped that she could help to avenge the knock-outs of her fellow raiders. That was once the shields were dealt with, anyway. “Since there’s still safeguarding measures in place, it’s time to give that mouse’s shields a good whacking with Power Whip (120BP), Nancy!”

Gigantamax Boss Pikachu ★★★★★ Health Gauge: 44% Shields Up: 2 Status: Def +3, SpAtk +2, SpDef +1, Infestation (2-3 Rounds) Raiders: Safeguard (1 Round) Arena: N/A Weather: Rain (1 Round) Terrain: Misty (4 Rounds) KOs: 4 Raider Healing Summary: Sneaze, Alolan Raichu: Cheer Sandaa, Flygon: 309 HPlilboocorsola, Pichu: Cheer Sandaa, Flygon: 600 HPRaid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Starfall (130 BP) Zelphon, Dragapult: 63 HPAttack 2: Surf (90 BP) Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: 403 HPAttack 3: Skull Bash (130 BP) Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: 273 HPRaid Challengers:
With a few cheers and a lot of strikes, the raiders push the boss most of the way through its final shields, leaving just two to take out for now. Pikachu unleashes a Max Starfall, managing to hit one of the two Pokemon remaining weak to the attack in Dragapult and replacing the current terrain with Misty Terrain once more. Another Surf washes over all of the remaining raiders, dealing a fair chunk to Venusaur and Flygon while healing Palpitoad again and managing to knock out Dragapult. Then comes another Skull Bash, raising Pikachu's Defense yet again while dealing a blow to take Venusaur close to half health. Infestation ticks again as Dynamax energy leaves Flygon, returning the dragon to normal size. Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Since shields should be down, let's use Earth Power (90 BP, 10% chance to lower the target's Special Defense by 1 stage (forgot to mention this earlier)) and hope for a Special Defense drop!

With a series of shields to get through before they could hit the Gigantamax Pikachu, Nancy and the rest of the raiding party fought or cheered to bring down as many of them as they could. Even with their efforts, though, a pair of panes remained between them and the massive mouse as their firepower dwindled.
As the raiding Pokémon’s attacks came to an end, the rotund rodent began its retaliative strikes. First of all, a flurry of small stars shot from the sky to smash in unison into the susceptible Dragapult in the form of a Max Starfall attack. As the celestial bodies crashed down onto the Fizzy Power Co., the terrain around the party became cloaked with a thick mist. Not wasting any time, the Gigantamax Pikachu launches into its signature Surf, dealing a decent amount of damage to a number of the party whilst taking down the Dragapult once and for all. Its final attack was another familiar one with the massive mouse lowering its head to heighten its defences and deliver a Skull Bash directly to the Venusaur who had also taken a soaking from the summoned surf. The Gigantamax Pikahu’s attacks having left their mark, the infestation within its fur struck once again with minuscule organisms taking a moment to dine on the meaty mouse. With the round at its end, the Dynamax energy that had overtaken the Flygon’s whole body begins to quickly dissipate, the dragon shrinking back down to its regular size once more in the blink of an eye. Before Zak could call out any orders to take down the shields to his Pokémon companion, a number of the other raiders co-ordinated their strategy to take out what remained of the Gigantamax Pikachu’s shields. With enough firepower in place to vanquish them once and for all, Nancy would be free to attack the giant rat directly and the man chose his next command accordingly: “Now that the vermin’s shields have been brought down, it’s time to sap some of its life force with Giga Drain (75BP), Nancy!”

Gigantamax Boss Pikachu ★★★★★ Health Gauge: 34% Shields Up: 0 Status: Def +2, SpAtk +2, Infestation (1-2 Rounds), Magnet Rise (4 Rounds) Raiders: N/A Arena: N/A Weather: N/A Terrain: Grassy (4 Rounds) KOs: 4 Raider Healing Summary: Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: Giga Drain Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: 329 HPRaid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Brick Break (75 BP) Pearl's Perap, Venusaur: 254 HPAttack 2: Max Overgrowth (130 BP) lilboocorsola, Pichu: 144 HPAttack 3: Magnet Rise (0 BP) Pikachu rose above the ground!Raid Challengers:
Breaking the final shields, the boss gets hammered by a few super effective attacks while Venusaur heals up a bit with help from a Giga Drain. Raichu sets up a Light Screen, only for the boss to immediately break it with a Brick Break, knocking Venusaur back down a bit lower than before. A Max Overgrowth comes out onto Pichu, hurting quite a bit and setting up Grassy Terrain for now. Finally, a Magnet Rise pushes the fat rat high over the ground. This of course means it misses out on the healing from Grassy Terrain that the raiders are currently enjoying, though, as Pichu eats some Leftovers and Infestation ticks. Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Tackling the last of the Gigantamax's Pikachu shields, the remaining attacks manage to hit the rodent's weak points. Though the Venusaur's attack wasn't one of the more powerful hits, the floral toad managed to replenish some of her lost health in preparation for what was to come from the monstrous mouse. With the offensive attacks complete, the Raichu hurriedly set up a shimmering Light Screen to protect the group.
That was until the raid boss got the chance to strike back, at least. No sooner had the defensive pane gone up did the Gigantamax Pikachu show off its skills in karate as it cut through the shield like butter with a Brick Break. Not only did this destroy this newly formed defence but it managed to undo Nancy's health refresh. Next up, the rotund rodent summons a Max Overgrowth attack to engulf the Pichu before the tendrils and vines found their home in the Fizzy Power Co., changing to a more verdant terrain. Last of all, the Gigantamax Pikachu musters up all of its energy to create its own magnetic field and rise high above the raiders, missing out on the replenishing nature of the new terrain but avoiding any strikes from the ground. As the terrain served to replenish the majority of those who gathered at the factorial complex, the gigantic mouse glowered down at the group from above with who knows what planned for the next round. Though the next move he had in mind was notorious for its befuddling nature to the user after a while, this was something he was willing to risk to help take down the raid boss. "Nancy - it's time to show off the power behind your flower with your Petal Dance (120BP)!"

Gigantamax Boss Pikachu ★★★★★ Health Gauge: 19% Shields Up: 0 Status: Def +2, SpAtk +4, Infestation (1 Round), Magnet Rise (3 Rounds) Raiders: Safeguard (4 Rounds) Arena: N/A Weather: Rain (4 Rounds) Terrain: Grassy (3 Rounds) KOs: 4 Raid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Nasty Plot (0 BP) Pikachu's Special Attack sharply rose!Attack 2: Max Geyser (130 BP) Lil'twick, Dragonite: 236 HPAttack 3: Surf (90 BP) Sneaze, Alolan Raichu: 136 HPRaid Challengers:
No longer able to typespam the boss, the raiders switch to other tactics to hammer away at Pikachu's remaining health, but not before Dragonite sets up another Safeguard to prevent yet more pesky status. The boss now reeling, a Nasty Plot sees further boosts before Max Geyser strikes Dragonite and brings back the pouring rain. The result of which is a particularly powerful Surf that washes over the raiders, just barely avoiding any additional KOs for now. Grassy Terrain heals, as does Leftovers, and Infestation ticks once more. Dynamax Initiative: Expired.
