On an unrelated, newbie note, can anyone tell me what the Pokéball Capsules and the seals received from the Coin Exchange are used for? It really makes me scratch my head ^^; (not as much as the Gracidea, but since it seems nobody's sure/speculating, we'll see with that one later).

Probably contests, though I wonder if we'd be allowed to use them in battles as well, like in the games.

I hate to be a killjoy, but the Gracidea is probably being given to us based solely on its description: A flower sometimes bundled in bouquets to convey gratitude on special occasions like birthdays.

They're symbolizing a thank you from the mods for being a part of FB! I think it's sweet. :3

I'm thinking about coming up with personalities for my pokemon now that I have everything up to date (at least on my side) so I'm thinking of making Hotstuff really smug and arrogant, queendra would be a timid princess like Snow White and I have no idea for Hercules.

Yeah, PP lost his Shiny Drifloon since both he and the babysitter went inactive. I got worried when Hayward was a day late in dropping off Pippa. ^^;

You might be able to plead for some leeway since you're still active, and as the original owner you should have claim over it plus it's not your fault the babysitter dropped out. Though according to this FAQ post, the mods won't intervene if a babysitter does something to your Pokémon you don't want. I think the point is to pick who you trust to take of your Pokémon carefully in case he/she does fail to look after them properly.

Candies are definitely needed. I also enjoy custom Pokeballs, especially those targeted at Rock and Bug types. ~~But Candies are especially needed, because I want to unlock my PC soon. I'm like 6 away, iirc.~~

Whew, finally got my profile updated with everything! So... I'm willing to trade the Capsules and Seals I got, the Brown Gummis, White Gummis, White Flute, and Shiny Stone for stuff. Candies are VERY high on the list of stuff I want, though I'll also take Gold Gummis or Mysterious Gummis, if you have them.
