Webcomics
That aren't MSPA --- Nedroid Questionable Content OVERCOMPENSATING Penny Arcade XKCD Three Word Phrase Dinosaur Comics Cyanide and Happiness Awkward Zombie Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal Brawl in the Family Amazing Super Powers VGCats Perry Bible Fellowship garfield minus garfield ...and many, many many more. Hell, flash video series can go here, too. That includes Zero Punctuation and just about anything on Newgrounds. Not sure how to start this topic off, but I feel like this is a thread we should have, so go forth and discuss.

Adding to the list some of the ones that I have that aren't on there already =)
Moképon (for us Pokemon fans ^_^) Ctrl+Alt+Del The Book of Biff SNAFU (has many webcomics ) Real Life Comics Bug EXTRA LIFE Dueling Analogs Sorcery 101 (artist has multiple) Allan (comic is based on the author's life, updated as life happens ;P) Sore Thumbs Manly Guys Doing Manly Things pictures for sad children F@NB0Y$ Gunshow Also I check Questionable Content, SMBC and Amazing Super Powers daily. Penny Arcade and XKCD I catch up with whenever I feel like it. VGCats only once in a while because it doesn't really get updated frequently. I haven't read Cyanide and Happiness in a long time, prolly should. Some of the other ones I've probably read a little, but yeah. P.S. I love Newgrounds. Mokepon <3
I don't really go on Newgrounds, but there are a few flashes I've seen on there that I really like. The only two that I remember though are There She Is!!! (A really cute 5-part series about a cat and a bunny~ <33) Madness Combat (A something-part series filled with guns, blood, zombies, and some epic characters~ The first video seems a bit silly compared to the later eps, but I like it!) |

This Mokepon thing is so for a different audience than the one I belong to. One, it reads like a Western-made fanfic doujin. An immediate hurdle for me to overcome. Second, it has lines like "It's Pokémon. Why would I? How old do you think I am? Seven?", lines that will surely titillate the 15-year olds here today ... except ... I was about Atticus's age when I started with Pokémon. (I was 13˝, so yeah, pretty much his 14 years of age. ) So yeah. I'll try to keep reading, but ... not seeing what's so special about it. Very dumb Western fanficy humor coupled with NOT FOR MY AGE GROUP throw-away lines and jokes. Oh well. ^^;
Now this ... this is a comic.

I look at VGM's post (lacking 8-Bit Theatre) and I'm about to fall in despair...until I remember VGM somehow knew who John Titor was, while Talon didn't.
You are one heck of a dichotomy, kid. ... You know, I think Blastoise or Loki introduced me to Elftor back in the day. But I find its South Park style humour no longer funny.

The ones I read are ones I probably shouldn't post here (coughoglafcough) but it is interesting to see old comics I stopped reading. I really don't read many comics these days. I don't count HS as a webcomic. >.>;

So, are we pasting the comics we enjoyed just that very day in this thread now instead of in Going To Hell? Going to assume so, and so ...
SMBC strikes paydirt once again. This one starts off a little weird, but by the time you get to the Chopin, if you're anything like me you're completely oblivious to the punchline he's working towards. And then? When he delivers it? Oh lord. Though ... it'll probably go completely over your head if you know next to nothing about Charlie Brown. As for the artist's thoughts on his own comic, that's what he devoted today's aftercomic towards. Awesome 4th wall breakage.

I only really read xkcd (and I guess Homestuck?) on a regular basis, but that was a tactical decision while I was in school to avoid procrastination...
Guess I can give some of these a whirl. |

Most of the ones I read are quite, well, gay, however, I read QC (already mentioned). I also like Khaos, which was also mentioned and very LGBTetc in themes. Others... not graphic but niche, you probably would not want to hear.

Friend Hostility is also a good one, gets a bit depressing towards the end, but is nevertheless a good webcomic.

Today's SMBC is another great one. The after-comic (hover over the red button) is a fantastic follow-up, too.
Note: at the time of posting, the SMBC server seems to be experiencing some major lag issues.

Having finished watching Slayers recently, the show strongly reminded me of an old fantasy webcomic I used to adore:
