Didn't a Sneasel hatch from a guaranteed rare ice egg during the Easter event? I know Vanillite is rare since Coolz8 hatched one from HIS guaranteed rare egg from the Halloween Event recently....

Karrablast, Shelmet, Venipede, Surskit? I'm just throwing random stuff out there, not even checking Egg House records...

Oh, I see. So wait... Would this mean Sneasel is a Common Dark hatch? =.

Vennipede seems pretty common in FB to be rare. Maybe Skorupi but that could be Super Rare (which if you got I would totally take off your hands).

My guesses for the other 6: Pinsir, Nincada, Heracross (which I believe has been confirmed, but I'm not sure), Combee, Shelmet and Karrablast.

Clearly I'm not hoping for another Heracross or Shelmet. But my hunch is that they both are; Heracross, by extension, if Scyther and Pinsir are. I always grouped Heracross, Pinsir, and Scyther together as a trio...not that they're near each other in the Pokedex to constitute a trio. Was your Joltik hatched from a Rare? |

I think it was just a regular egg, so there's no way of knowing what rarity Joltik was from it. I would say common, but I honestly have no idea. Probably not much more than Rare.

Yes, but Cele linked to a statement from Tess a while back that Pokémon are more Common in their primary Type Category.

I would hazard a guess that's that rule only applies on a few occasions and not just to every Pokemon.

Trust me when I say Sneasel is a Rare pokemon even in the Dark egg category which is the only category you can get one in. I've hatched enough Dark eggs over the years to know where most of the Dark types fall. In fact, now that I think about it, Dark Mystery eggs are the only ones I've ever hatched. Maybe I should change it up next time. Get a Dragon egg or something. Last edited by Stark; 11-28-2012 at 01:25 AM. |

They can't? Someone said a Sneasel hatched from a Rare Ice Egg during the Easter Event... And in fact didn't someone hatch a male Sneasel from an Ice Egg recently? ^^;

Nah that's my mistake. They can be. I forgot about that. Should have looked a little closer before posting that. Sorry. Regardless, I'm sure they are still under the Rare category even in the Ice eggs. |

I'm pretty sure there are 6 Common Dark types. Corphish, Cacnea, Seedot, Murkrow, Purrloin, and Poochyena. I'm not 100% positive on the last two, but I'm pretty sure they are common as well. Although it's been a while since anyone has hatched a Poochyena that I can remember.

So, myahoo hatched a male Swablu! No interest from my side, though. Seems a lot of people have been hatching the wrong genders.

Sorry about the double post, but it seems Kairne hatched a Male Onix with Heavy Slam and Marion hatched a female Snorunt! Congrats both of you! I'd be very interested in the Onix (Tier 2 want) if Kairne isn't.

Pretty sure Kairne was gunning for a Male Onix.
EDIT: It's Tier 1 on his Cable Club post. |

Oh okay then... Also, Rakurai hatched a Nosepass from his enigma egg.

Nosepass! I knew I forgot something in my CC list!
Yes, the Onix is a keeper. Had she been female, I might have offered her (or rather, been approached), although even female, Onix is badass. Not sure if I should keep him as an Onix ever after or go for Steelix, though... |

Nosepass are weird enough to me, but a female one is even weirder.
Now I'm not really sure what egg to hatch next. Looking back on my egg hatching history from three years ago, I haven't the slightest clue as to what I had been hoping to get from a Bug Nature egg. Last edited by Rakurai; 11-28-2012 at 05:30 AM. |
