271 MB? For a security patch?

Hey, my computer has a program called "InstallShield" and it was telling me it was time to check for updates. So I said sure, go for it. It thought for a few minutes, and then returned with one find. It said, "You should install this. It's 271.99 MB, so it'll take you a couple of minutes. And you'll need to restart afterwards."

Um, I don't see why I shouldn't trust this sort of thing normally, but a patch that big sends up a huge red flag in my book. That's over 1/3 of a CD-ROM, for Christ's sake. And it's over 1/200 of my available hard drive space ... and I'd rather not dole out hard drive space so casually to superfluous security updates, never mind to possible malware.

Anybody know anything about this? Have security patches really gotten this huge these days?

Screencap of the program's main interface attached below.
