Recently stuck this on my ipod.

EDIT the first: Having just watched the relevant Buffy episode, this is also excellent.

BORKED

^ My adopted theme song from my time spent addicted to painkillers and other things. Incidentally, one of my favorite songs about addiction ever.

Under the Bridge (RHCP) and Strawberry (Everclear) are good too!

Antonín Dvořák, String Sextet in A Major, Op. 48, III. Furiant. Presto

The entire song is a masterpiece, but I've been listening to this movement specifically as of late.

Nice shout Marion. That's been getting a lot of airtime over here, s'pretty awesome.

Also I finally got my hands on Opposites today, just listened to both discs back to back. Brilliant. Well worth the three-and-a-bit year wait, may have taken up my top album spot. Would highly recommend even to people who aren't fans of Biffy Clyro, since there's enough songs on a double album to appeal to most tastes.

BORKED

Infant Annihilator, a.k.a. the band that will fucking murder you through music, has made Gangam Style actually listenable by turning into into a Technical-Extreme-Black-Slam-Grind-Deathcoremetal masterpiece. Their original stuff is even more glorious.

The beginning of the end. Fitting title, all things considered, but coincidental: I'll soon be re-watching the series this song featured in, and so I felt like listening to it.

And now, a couple of songs that always make me feel upbeat whenever they appear on the radio:

The 1975 - Chocolate

Bastille - Pompeii

Beautiful, both of 'em.

I second this. Bastille are amazing.

I fell in love with them about a year ago when they performed at a local live venue in Bath while I was at univeristy, and they have produced nothing short of amazing songs since. So I'm eagerly awaiting their first full album in march (or april) after having to live off a couple of EPs and a few mixtapes thus far.

Just discovered this artist on Spotify radio the other day. He's only 18 years old and his music is honestly some of the best I've heard in a very long time. I'm blown away.

Madeon - Finale

Oooh Madeon. I found out about him right when this video came out. Some musician I was following on Youtube liked or favorited this vid and I got hooked.
