And Blaziken is the only 'mon that can do this?
Face it- ANY weather sweeper is gonna eat one of your 'mon if you let it set up. |

Okay, last gen it was Alakazam is too OP for UU. Now it's Blaziken is too OP for everything. It sucked then, it sucks now. This has gone on for several pages now and it's honestly stupid. Change the subject away from Blaziken and his overpowerness (or lack there of) or shit happens.

Toxicroak used to be on the generic Politoed/Thundurus/Toxicroak/Ferrothorn/Scizor/Rotom-W team that 50% of all people ran when Thundurus was still in OU. For whatever reason now, it doesn't get used as much as it did. It's become really underrated, I think. The Sub set in Rain is glorious. Don't know why it isn't seen more often.

I used Toxicroak all the time in Gen IV, had like 7 of them (SD, Rain, Band, Scarf, NP, Mixed Priority and... Specs I think?). It's a really diverse Pokémon and I'm glad to see that it's had some recognition this Gen.
That's all I've got. |

Yeah, I used a Nasty Plot set for a UU team. Surprised at how that doesn't get any recognition this gen, because it was pretty solid even against OU teams. I actually might need to try that out soon...

I haven't really used the 'croak, but battling Dave's gave me tingles. And since I ended up trying out I-can't-remember-who's Hitmonchan, Toxicroak seems like a distinct possibility.
I want to mention how long me VS Blaze ended up being, but I don't know how to put it into words right now. Maybe I should stop talking, since I'm so tired atm. Yeah, I'll do that. |

I seem to have this strange ability to be online when nobody else is.
Also, having messed around with comp for the first time in forever, I officially love Eviolite more than I should ever love any held item. |

Machoke is the best I have seen in a while, s he gets INSANELY bulky. 360 Sp.Def + Bulk Up is no laughing matter.

Why are you not online right now? >>;
And yeah, I was testing out an Eviolite Machoke earlier, though my favorite so far is Chansey, because becomes even more of a wall than Blissey. |

Yeah, Bulk Up Guts Cross Chop can pack a huge wallop, and the Sp. Def is enough to take a LO Psychic from alakazam.

Speaking of Eviolite users, Dusclops and Scyther are both pretty good with that, too. Chansey is the most widely used by far, though. (For obvious reasons.)

I find it hard to use either of them...and Scyther would most like Choice Band anyways.

I'd imagine Pory2 is pretty awesome with Eviolite.
And yeah, Scyther isn't really a defensive 'mon. I always used to use a Scarf on mine. |

Yes.
Yes yes yes. Evolite P2 just laughs at everything. It's... a little too strong. Mine once tanked a hit from some insanely jacked up opponent and brought me back from 1-6 to 1-0. ...Yes, I like walls. What of it? |

Yeah, Porygon2 is pretty awesome. It can cripple stuff with T-Wave and heal a bunch of damage back with Recover. And then it has offensive capabilities as well, and I usually go with BoltBeam for that.
Scyther is never used with Eviolite defensively, though. I find that Scyther works with Eviolite on a bulky Swords Dance set, sort of like the Bulk Up Machoke that was listed earlier. Invest into HP and Speed, and Swords Dance to get your attack up to sweep. I like the Choice sets too, but don't overlook the set with Eviolite.

I had an Eviolite Dusclops. Even in UU it's not that great.

When running Eviolite Dusclops, I like to go with 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD with a Calm nature. That gives it 284 HP, 474 Defense, and 561 Special Defense. That's pretty good, IMO, especially when it carries Will-o-Wisp. My only beef with it that makes me prefer Chansey is that Dusclops has to use ResTalk or Pain Split for recovery, while Chansey has the advantage of Softboiled and/or Wish.

Dammit lads, I'm getting you confused because your avvies are both girls in purple flowing garb with a bright background.
Also I wouldn't personally do anything with Dusky's HP, just max out Defences and spam Pain Split. I had a few Scyther, but all were straight up attackers. Think I had an LO SD and a Scarf. I feel like I'm going to miss out on stuff by never having done proper BW comp. |
