I would imagine that they still are, with the abundance of Mystical Space Typhoon and friends. Though if Chao didn't have Magic Reflector in that deck, there's something wrong with him.

Also, thanks for the idea with Final Countdown. Once DN's back up, I'm going to be making a triple win condition deck using that card.

Just had a great duel with Dopple using the Wind-Up deck. Won 7600-0, but it was much closer than that. He had me in a real bind for a while, but thankfully my XYZs saved me. Good match.

I'm still a horrible amateur when it comes to anticipating traps. I can spam them like anyone's business, but if I'm to succeed at this game I need to employ some tact against them.

In my second duel against Chaotic I drew an almost perfect hand:

Reinforcement of the Army
Foolish Burial
Doppelwarrior
Dandylion
Junk Synchron
The Tricky

The worst card in that lot was RotA, because I didn't need a second Junk Synchron. The sequence went,

Foolish Burial → Caitsith
Junk Synchron NS → Caitsith SS
Tricky SS → Dandylion Grave
Two Level 1 Tokens spawned
Tune 1 Junk Synchron + 1 The Tricky = Stardust Dragon
Tune 1 Token + Caitsith = Formula Synchron
Draw 1 Card

At this point, I had Stardust, Formula Synchron, and a token. If I had a DD Sprite, I could have banished Formula Synchron, then tuned a TG Recipro Dragon. During the SBP of Chaotic's next turn, Accel Synchro to Shooting Quasar Dragon.

But I didn't draw the DD until way too late, so I had to settle with a SSD, which I lost on the next turn. I probably should have attacked with it instead, because I drew 3 tuners (last was the DD) later and could have won on the second turn after Chaotic's Solemn Judgement.

I still think this deck >>> my ability to use it. It's very effective against everything except a Banishment Deck, which kills anything that uses Graveyard pretty heavily.

As far as I'm aware, Final Countdown can only be defeated by: Deck out, Lost all LP before the 20 turns were up, or all Final Countdown cards were negated. As long as you can activate a Final countdown without it being negated, the opponent has only 20 turns to try and beat you.

But my deck should have none of those problems, as it employs multiple win conditions.

Yep. Unless they prevent the initial activation with something like Magic Jammer or Imperial Order, the effect can't be stopped.

Actually, make that 10 turns, the other 10 are your own turns.

Though, my deck will still have trouble with deck-out and beatdown.
