Sorry, not a Christmas one.
Practicing drawing faces, one of my worst things. Spoiler: show Tried to do as much by hand as possible, but I ended up C&Ping a good chunk. Maybe I'll work on ears. >>;; No photo reference. No person in particular. Just freehand drawing of a face. |

Got Planescape: Torment. Was inspired to do this piece of fanart:
Spoiler: show I'll eventually improve on that with stuff like shading and luminosity (or lack there of). I'll eventually get back to my armored (or rather not armored at the moment) girl. For now I'm working on a new piece. Might need to redo the legs since this had no photo reference, just a pose I felt I could try. Anyway, she's got a lot of choices. Hair, costume, probably designs later. Lemme know which options you guys think look best. BTW, hair color can be any color, I just changed them around for variety. Highlights lol. Spoiler: show And yeah, those other people are beggars. She is supposed to have a regal look or have some kind of air of superiority about her. I would like her dress and probably her hair to emphasize this. |

Never drew fire on my tablet before.
... today. Need to learn more about fire I guess. I started as a bright white ball to represent the core and put stands of darker colors around it as flames. Morg, when you come to NYC again, let's make some real fireballs and take photos. |

I have been drawing now and then, but then I hit a certain point in the drawing that I end up hating the picture because of some detail that won't come out right. It looks great in my head, but looks awful on 'paper' so to say.
Then I rage for a moment and close out everything without saving. Or I do save and I rage when I reopen it and decide to abandon the project. |

Then again ... this is probably not unlike learning how to walk again after you lose your legs. Or hell: learning how to walk in the first place when you're just a toddler. I guess the trick is to just stick with it. And to walk ... err, draw terribly for the first couple of years, bit by bit working your way towards drawing perfectly naturally. [/sage advice we've all heard a dozen times before]

Wait ... so you roared a grizzly bear ... into a mammoth's behind? How can you roar so powerfully as to lift a grizzly off of the ground and into the air like that and to send him tumbling into a mammoth several yards away?
*would like to have seen the in-game video recording*

This is a double since the first part is pretty boring and short.
Spoiler: show BTW: All the parts were finished before I posted the first comic. EDIT: Also, same deal for the next part. Or wait until tomorrow morning/afternoon/evening/when I remember. Last edited by Loki; 01-19-2012 at 08:33 PM. |

Poor grizzly bear.
In real life, how did the battle end? Did you end up killing them all by attrition (as explained)? Did you lose patience with that method, rush outside, and get yourself killed? Did you hide in the house long enough that the A.I. enemies lost interest (assuming they even can) and they went away? How did it actually end?
