Harold Ramis (1944-2014)
Harold Ramis has passed away, reports the New York Times and many other sources. He was 69 years old.
Ramis was involved in the writing, directing, and acting of many beloved films of the 1980s and early '90s, including Groundhog Day, Animal House, and Caddyshack. But he will perhaps be best remembered for his roles as co-writer and co-star of the 1984 smash hit comedy Ghostbusters. Playing the laconic, nerdy Egon Spengler, Ramis was immortalized as one of the four Ghostbusters alongside co-stars Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. Thank you for the wonderful films, Mr. Ramis. Rest in peace.

2014 has just not been a good year for actors so far
My local radio station apparently played "I've Got You Babe" at 6am this morning in memoriam. |
