An act of faith

So I received a bottle of "Holy Water" from the local Catholic Church around Easter. I don't want to hold onto it anymore, but I don't just want to throw it away.

I'm considering drinking it. If it's holy water, what better way to get rid of the water than to take the blessing unto yourself? But I don't know if this water was ever intended for human consumption. There's always the possibility that somewhere, perhaps this water was spiked with enterotoxigenic bacteria, urine or some kind of chemical that would hurt a person who consumes it.

Is it considered an act of faith (in God) to drink this? Or just stupidity?

Would it not be an act of sacrilege for you to drink it?

I think that it should be fine honestly. Bar what I think on the subject (its just tap water), it wouldn't make any sense for someone to spike it like that, because there would still be a possibility for infection and other nastiness even without consuming it, and that's not the kind of message you want to send.

If you're uncomfortable with doing anything with it, pass it on to someone else.

I think the first question that should be asked in this situation is "am I a vampire".

If no, drinking it should be a great idea. To my knowledge, doing so increases your magic resistance.
If yes, drink it in small quantities to slowly build up a resistance.

The proper method of disposal would be to pour it into the soil (in your backyard, in a park or whatever), and return it to the Earth. It's the most respectful way, and it solves the problem. That water was not bottled with the intent of human consumption, and may not necessarily be sourced from a clean spring; drink it at your own risk.

This is the correct answer, back when I was a freshman in high school (and more spiritual) the priest at our local church told me that he had a sink that was connected to the ground rather than the plumbing system to dispose of excess holy water, so I assume any outside area will do fine.
