Apparently once you capture all 150, Mew appears and wonders the world lol from what ive seen people are trying to track it down but when they reach a destination its long gone, don't know if its true though.
Edit: apparently it was true because I got all 151! Woo!. Last edited by Electric Blue Eye; 04-01-2014 at 06:32 PM. |

Swirlix confirmed for Dublin.
And a Snorlax in the Vatican, if the freeway in Vali one was too hard.

Did you guys use walkthroughs or other assistance? If not and you just did it all blind like me, then wow, good job finding them all! I've got somewhere between 50 and 75 myself -- while I've found quite a lot of creatures, they're all repeats of ones I've already seen. I try looking for landmarks but often there's only one or even zero Pokémon there. Taj Mahal, nothing. Marianas Trench, nothing. Mount Rushmore, I want to say there was either nothing or maybe one.

Try the volcano in the center of the large island of Hawaii. That's where I found Torchic ^_^

Oh, don't get me wrong, Red! I've been looking all over, including no fewer than two volcanic mountains. It's just that I keep seeing repeats.
Here: my list I was working on this morning. Forgot all about it until now. Sorry for the abrupt end: Sapporo has a Togepi. Kagoshima has a Quilava and a Munchlax. Hiroshima has a Charmander and nothing else I can find. (Ummm ... ) Nagasaki has a Jolteon. Fukushima didn't get shit. Nagano has an Espeon. Nagoya has a Salamence. Shibuya, Tokyo didn't get much but its neighbors got a couple. Harajuku Station got a Lucario and a Swirlix. Shimomeguro got a Salamence. Shinjuku, Tokyo has a Stunfisk that I missed last time. Chiyoda, Tokyo has a Lotad, Garchomp, Mudkip, and Wailord. South of Chiyoda is a Serperior; east of it, a Jigglypuff. Ryogoku, Tokyo has a Miltank. Tokyo Skytree has a Minun. Kameido Central Park has a Servine. Machida, Tokyo (childhood home of Satoshi Tajiri) has nothing. Dublin has Swirlix. (Myles beat me to it!) San Antonio has Greninja and Donphan.

I loved the Google Maps video. This makes me wish I had a smartphone.

I saw nothing for the Taj Mahal the other night, which surprised me. I looked at New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai just now and see nothing in any of those three cities. (Non-exhaustive search but I looked around quite a bit near the Google Maps epicenter of the three cities at various levels of zoom.) If you can think of any famous Indian landmarks for me to search for besides the Taj Mahal, that would probably help, but it doesn't look like India is going to have much. No idea why not either: I would think that Google would have plenty of staff members who like India. Seems odd to snub the country. (I can understand why American-owned Google might snub Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, etc, but snubbing India just seems weird to me.)

Also there's a Pikachu and a Blaziken at one Tokyo Tower somewhere in japan. Also there's a darwin, Australia with some fully evolved mons, but they were repeats for me and thus i dont remember them, though i think one was staraptor.

They probably just couldn't be assed to do anything in India :p I guess one could try looking vaguely around the hundreds of rivers but if they didn't do anything in the big cities then there seems no reason they'd do it there. Thanks anyway!

I caught over 100 of them but gave up.
I wonder, does it still work? |
