Halloween 2013

It's that time of year again, UPN.

Time for 2spooky scary skeletons and ghosts and ghouls and all kinds of fun. And if you hae a sweet tooth, time for you to indulge in the art of stealing candy from children, too.

But most importantly, it's time to don your alter egos once again, to wear the guise of a different person.

With that in mind, what are your plans this year, and what are you dressing up as?

Deo, I am disappoint.

No party that I'm aware of, so I'll be sitting this one out, as always. One of these years I'll finally get invited to one and cobble a Pyramid Head costume together, but not this time. Though now that I think about it, a Trevenant costume is sounding more and more tempting...

Thinking about just putting on a suit, carrying my clarinet around, and going as Benny Goodman. I'll play shitty renditions of Sing, Sing, Sing, and old people will shower me with candy.

My school lets out early on Thursday this week so me and my friends are going to get stoned then go to a party go to church then have a prayer group at my house to combat the demons seeking our sugar.

On Halloween itself, will be playing board games at work, because we're cool like that. I might go as Peter Parker.

At my work place we are holding a costume contest and a row/"office spot" decorating contest.

I was tempted to put on my Mew gijinka costume I built up this year for a con, but the problem is it's getting pretty cold these days (aka below freeze point), our labs/offices have horrible temperature control (the AC is on even during winter!) and my costume consists mostly of a white, lace-ish short dress. Put two and two together, and you'll get a OkikuMew popsicle. I'll still wear my Mew hat though, so at least I'll have that, and it'll actually help keeping me warm while working :3 ...At least, if I DO have work on Halloween in the first place. OTL

I don't know what I'll be doing on Hallow's Eve. Probs just going to pass out candy because none of my friends are going Trick-or-treating (that live close by). Though, I will be going as a cliche Vampire because I'm lazy and don't feel like being Karkat.

Went to a party last weekend wearing a recycled costume. Party was sorta lame. Going to be at my parents' house for actual Halloween, will probably wear a pumpkin T-Shirt and breed Pumpkaboos.

Going trick-o-treating with some friends even though we're probably too old but SHUT UP WE WANT CANDY.

Probably going as a Slenderman because I'm already tall and pale so I'll only need a white mask and a tux.

My friend is having a party. I'll be there as the Invisible Man-who-was-a-victim-of-mob-violence-had-his-tongue-cut-out-and-can-no-longer-talk. Also chaining Hawluchas with the Pokeradar because it's color scheme is bitchin'.

Unoriginal and uses a looooot of white makeup because I'm a tan, tan Filipino, but I like it because it makes me look decently 2pooky =3=

I am not going out, but I am going to have fun in my own way by handing out Double Salt and Laurel Drop licorice to the kiddies. It is going to be hilarious. Especially the Laurel Drop. It is pure concentrated, unsweetened licorice extract formed into small pencil eraser-sized pellets. Licorice doesn't get any more "licorice" than that.



On a personal note, I actually love all forms of licorice, especially the Laurel Drop licorice.

I used to dress up as a drug dealer in high school. Taped bags of lollipops, full sized chocolate bars, and if I felt like it, a bag of sugar in a black coat. Asked people if they wanted some...candy throughout the day.

I may or may not technically be dressing as the Halloween equivalent of Ebenezer Scrooge.
