Poison is good against ghost ever since Clorox released their newest line of cleaning products, Ghost-Gone. Just a few sprays of this will clean your house of physical, and spectral grime.

This is a really common-sense matchup we've got here today, folks. Toxicity is well-known for producing massive amounts of salt, and ghosts are verifiably allergic to salt! They also cannot cross salt lines on the ground. A little bit of a mythological-historical angle we're gunning for here! Loving the ingenuity and care that our esteemed community has for the type chart endeavor.
Personally I'm a little shocked at the potential implications of this on ASB. Ghosts in ASB are immune to poisoning effects, as they are technically Starmie. I mean, inorganic. What a Freudian slip, am I right? I'll be taking PMs on a rolling basis; please don't hesitate to offer more typing options! There are 120 options in Game Freak's (flawed) official type chart, so we've still got a lot of work ahead of us!

Kuno is right. Vacuum cleaners used to be all the rage for getting the job done. In today's world of hardwood floors and hectic schedules, everyone wants a spray-it-and-leave-it solution. Thus, the increasing popularity of Ghost-Gone. Simple and effective. Super effective, one might say.

As UPN's resident Ghost-type specialist, the only correct type chart involving Ghosts everything is weak to Ghosts and Ghost resists everything. Including itself.
Anything else is vile alt-right propaganda.

I think this is a solid example of the kind of common-sense thinking I'm looking to encourage. Using normal attacks, like yelling and hitting and emitting bright beams of destructive energy from your mouth, are TOTALLY ineffective in real life at handling a bug problem. Those things do not care!
I'm interested in seeing the way this shakes up the competitive metagame. Normal types like Snorlax and Arceus no longer have the, er, crushing power needed to bust through sturdy Bug-type walls like Ninjask and Metapod.

Bugs have strong exoskeletons, so normal attacks can't break through them.

Feel free to submit as many as you like! I won't match you up with yourself, though.

Have you ever tried to punch a bee? Kick a tick? Even stepping on ants and dropping them from high places won't do the trick. Those little buggers (literally) are very resistant. It's super obvious that bugs would resist normal.
It's clear to anyone with a brain that electric is super effective to fairy. I have never in my entire life seen a fairy in a thunderstorm. In fact, I'm willing to wager top dollar here that none of you have ever seen a fairy in a thunderstorm either. Case closed. |

Simple.
Electronic music > Classical music, which somehow is associated with fairies, for some reason. Next. |

Snorby has submitted: Ice
toyo has submitted: Fairy The Random Type-Effectiveness Generator has determined that ICE is now IMMUNE to FAIRY!! Discuss! (also from here on out, I'm going to change up the formula since I just realized that I have two "is affected by" and one "affects" so it's all going to be "is affected by" - resistant to, weak to, immune to) (also I think I have to edit the chart because I did some shit wrong)

As Chechnya proves, ice doesn't really care about how much of a fairy you are ;o

Fairies are immune to Ice because everyone knows Clefairy came from the moon. They wouldn't have been able to survive the absolute cold of space if they weren't immune to ice.

I can't even make a funny post about why Dark would resist Dark or why Poison would beat Grass. This is just too bizarre and nonsensical. Even for me.
