I wouldn't evolve him. I would keep him as a shoulder buddy to travel with. Kind of like a team mascot.

Which begs the question, does anyone already have such a Pokemon? Something that rides on their shoulder all the time and is kinda like a team mascot? With me, it's Meowth, though only in free RP thus far- never had the chance to introduce Meowth in any zones just yet.

I have two such pokemon. My most common is Sparky my Joltik. And then recently Tasu my Plusle also started riding on my shoulder. (Though both haven't in zones)

Since the first that's going away is male I'd evolve him into Umbreon. Should I happen to have the luck to get my hands on a female one at some point, I'd evolve her into Vaporeon or just keep her as Eevee

Guess for now it's Rose, as Rowan always seems to carry her around, also in the one zone I'm in with her. But that won't last as I do plan on evolving her all the way. But I have another Pokémon in mind to fill the spot of shoulder buddy, though Rose will always be the mascot of my team.

I'd evolve him into Leafeon. My eventual Glaceon will be female (if I get my way).

Good question - I have no idea. I preferred Espeon at a point, but I already have a Psychic type. I guess it depends on what types I don't have at a certain moment and whatever feels right at the time.

While I originally had been thinking of having my Electrike fulfill the role of "everpresent team mascot", I ultimately shied away from that in favor of giving all of my Pokemon a balanced amount of time in the spotlight.

Not to say that couldn't change in the future if I got one of my wants, though...

As far as the whole Eevee thing goes, I'm fine with just one. I honestly was having second thoughts about even keeping her at one point. Even now, I'm kind of uncertain about where her place in the whole team dynamic is going to be, whereas I've more or less got it sorted out for everyone else (Including the Pokemon I want, but have yet to obtain).

Sundance (Cherubi), my starter, kinda fulfilled that role from the first. He's also got the built in benefit of remaining nicely sized once he evolves.

Max (Poochyena) takes the mascot spot, although I have the feeling that Himiko (Espeon) is giving a run for his money on the title X) As for "shoulder Pokemon", Rawk (Staravia) and Spi (Natu) have been on Okiku's shoulders, but either of them stayed there long enough (and anyways when they evolve in their final form, they'll be too big to roost on a human's shoulder... ^^;)

Well, I'm planning on Raijin (Emolga) I guess, for the shoulder part. Maybe Shade for the walking beside, once he evolves into Umbreon.

My Paras would be one with it's little legs digging into Kori's head enough to make him bleed, but Paras wouldn't know it's doing it. He knows Rock Smash so that's how I justify this level of leg strength for Paras.

I think Leila (Sneasel) has fun riding piggyback, though she tends to spend that time cleaning Hyrem's hair which gets annoying to him after a while. When it's not Leila cleaning his hair, it's Aisa getting saliva all over it. lol

Also, this is going to sound very weird, but it occurred to me that it would be interesting if there was a member here who wanted to have a team made up of only Slugma. I imagine that it would be useful since it would give people someone to trade unwanted Slugma to, but it would also be terrifying because I can't imagine someone who'd have such a goal without wanting to eventually drown the world in lava with their hellish army.

Wasn't planning on participating, but for the sake of answering if I got a male Eevee I would probably evolve it into Umbreon.

Team Shoulder Mascot?

I've never really described my Pokes as riding on my shoulder - usually I just carry them in my arms if possible. Kief (Zigzagoon) tends to be pretty active though and would probably crawl up there to get a better view. I imagine Kanna's a bit big to sit on one shoulder, but I've always wanted to try wearing a Furret as a scarf (even though I hate scarves). Iris (Sewaddle) might be a good size and shape to nestle next to my neck (though again I'm usually not comfortable with that kind of thing).

If I had to pick a representative of my team, I guess the obvious choice would be Haruki (Shiny Corsola). Custard (Delibird) and Bobble (Wynaut) also kinda fill that role, as well as Alice (Ralts) to an extent. I can picture her sitting on my shoulder like a doll too, come to think of it...

This certainly hasn't panned out with Team Jumpluff, considering not a single Hoppip's been born in at least the last nine months and nobody hatches Grass Nature Eggs regularly except for me. (Out of the supposed other Grass type specialists, Kaisap hatches them irregularly and PikaGod hasn't hatched a Grass Nature Egg in I don't know how long.) So no, I don't think this plan would pan out for someone hoping to make a team of six Slugma. Even if we ignore the comparison with Hoppip as an uneven one (since, admittedly, many more Slugmas have been born this past year than Hoppips), I anticipate all sorts of things would happen, like ...

• people try and extort that member, demanding exorbitant prices for Slugmas or else no trade
• people compete with that member for Slugmas because they need one for a shard quest (granted, he could then get it from the Adoption Center, but still)
• people quit helping out with hatching Fire Core Eggs because they just assume that he's got their back covered

I don't imagine it'd be an easy endeavor.
