I wonder how much longer until we get English names for Puppebb and Marsleepial. They've usually been pretty good about revealing Pokémon simultaneously worldwide these days, and I'm sure CoroCoro has to be actually officially out by now.

Who knows? There's no way Nintendo of America hasn't caught on to them yet. Maybe they're trying to make Corocoro as exclusive as it wants to be for once?

idk. Also Popplio learning Disarming Voice isn't by any means a certainty it's going to be part Fairy: Froakie learns Lick extremely early but doesn't go part Ghost. Chespin learns Rollout early but doesn't go part Rock. From what I can see, actually starter Pokemon don't tend to naturally learn things of types they evolve into.

Heck I'm pretty sure the Piplup line doesn't get Metal Claw until the Prinplup stage, Charmamder doesn't get any flying naturally until it's fully evolved, so on, so forth.

But seriously, it is a possibility that Popplio doesn't end up being a Fairy Type and we'll all be eating our words later, yes. However, Fennekin learns Psychic Moves through level up so there is some precedent.

...also if Froakie never learned Lick then I would have had serious words with Gamefreak. Then again, this is the company that didn't let Zangoose learn Cut so...

I'll be very surprised if Yungoos doesn't get every biting move there is. Maybe with the possible exception of Bug Bite, but that's about it. Bite, Crunch, Hyper Fang, Super Fang, the elemental fangs, Poison Fang, and maybe they'll even introduce a new biting move it'll also get.

And yeah- Popplio getting Disarming Voice doesn't necessarily mean it's becoming Water/Fairy, but then, I've seen Water/Fairy speculation for it since before we even learned this fact, so it's not like people are going solely off the presence of Disarming Voice here. Fennekin sets a very interesting precedent- we could pretty much guess Fire/Psychic from the start, considering prerelease trailers showed it using Psychic and Psybeam. But yeah- Chespin didn't become part Rock, Froakie didn't become part Ghost, so this is nothing conclusive at this point.

...Still want to see Litten learn Smog. Even if it doesn't confirm anything, I'd at least like things to start leaning that way. I want a Fire/Poison-type already!

My first impressions on the new Pokemon:

Charjabug: whatthefuckisthis
Vikavolt: I actually really like this, I'm happy that they took Grubbin, a 'Mon that I was sort of lukewarm on and turned it into something cool
Cutiefly: Cutie
Drampa: This is hilarious. I love it.
Bruxish: ...Maybe it'll grow on me? Seems weird.
Togedemaru: Interesting take on the Pika clone. I like it!
Tapu Koko: YOOOOOOOOOOO BADASS

Also I forgot to add, think it's pretty neat that it seems Zygarde 50% form carries the same ability as the 10% form. I guess it's probably a hidden ability then, as what happened to Aura Break? Either way I'm super excited for Zygarde's new form. I think it looks kind of silly but as far as raw power goes I'm anticipating something incredible.

EDIT: Relating to Zygarde, we've been able to confirm based off the trailer that Complete Form has 216 Base HP, and 10% Form has 54 Base HP. Which I guess kind of makes sense, because 50% form has 108 Base HP. 54*2=108*2=216. That's yuge.
