...just now realizing that I never officially stated that Fizzytopian Solosis is live so... it is now. Whoops.

Anyway, on to new discussion.

Separate post for visibility.

This is the first winner we've had that explicitly changes the gender ratios for the line. I'm personally fine with this since we've had drastic weight changes in Snowlet, and it doesn't actually affect anything from a coding standpoint. Just bringing it up so people are aware of it in case anyone sees an actual problem.

Note: We're also still waiting on official color schemes for humpy sprites, dragons is aware of this and there's no rush on the process of it.

Sixdragons confirmed the color schemes on Discord some time ago, actually, and I made the sprites not long after.

Gender line thing is fine. I would prefer a version of the signature move that cut out some of the flavor to keep things concise and easy to understand.

I think the only thing I have a very slight umbrage with is it evolving twice while needing different moves. Mostly just because that's a bit weird and I'm not sure either evolution method really enhances the flavor of the Pokemon.

According to the level-up move listing this is pretty close in line with Delphox's normal levels for evolution being 17 for Inferno and 38 for Hypnosis, with Delphox originally being 36 and Braxien being 16.

So I for one have no qualms with that particular issue.

As for this, it makes me think of Psyshock. I am in slight disagreement with Emi on there needing to be flavor cut, but I'm not going to fuss as much about it if people feel its too flavorful.

It's more I think there should be a clearer version that's easily accessible.

To that then I'd agree, I'm pretty sure there will be once it gets coded into the bot? If not that shouldn't be too hard to handle tho

The user strikes a devastating ashen blow that imbues the opponent with pessimistic thoughts. This attack deals damage based on the foe's Special Defense instead of Defense.

Is that clearer, or should I cut it down more?

So the main issue I have with evolving via learning moves is that 38 is... late for a starter. Not hilariously so, but still late. Yes, it does make it so if you're able to learn the move sooner you can evolve sooner, but it's still a bit odd for something that is supposed to be a Fizzytopian starter.

I can swap Hypnosis's learn level to 35, or 31 if that makes more sense.

Yeah I feel like swapping 31/35/38 would be healthiest. Just bring Flamethrower to 31, Hypnosis to 35, and Signal Beam to 38. Would also make sense to just swap Flamethrower to 31 and Signal Beam to 38 after evo, and X-Scissor replacing Hypnosis upon evo makes sense there.

Swapping Hypnosis to Lv. 35 sounds good, but why swap Signal Beam and Flamethrower? I don't see a problem with doing it as: 31- Signal Beam, 35 - Hypnosis (X-Scissor after evo), 38 - Flamethrower. I can swap Signal Beam and Flamethrower if it's really something that needs to happen, but I'd want an explanation as to why.
