A walk into the Hatchery reveals a large banner stretched above a variety of whirring incubators, housing a number of varying eggs. In bright blue letters, the banner simply reads Happy "Birth"day! as Doctor Grossman and his various assistants buzz about the area with clipboards and cameras galore. It's clear that the Hatchery hasn't been this busy all at once at quite some time, and while a number of those attending to the eggs look about with some amount of sleep deprivation on their face, their eyes stare wide and smiles crack as the first few trainers come in to meet their new hatchlings.
OkikuMew: Approaching your incubating Psychic Egg, a small fist suddenly juts out of its center, causing a bit of shock to the nearby attendant. The small fist causes a clean crack around the egg's side, allowing the hatchling to lift the top off entirely to reveal its blue body with a white onion shape atop its head. Tossing the top of the egg aside, the Meditite stares at you, ready to go home. You have hatched a male Meditite with EM Drain Punch! ----- Marion Ette: Your Dark Egg sits quietly atop the incubator, even as you sit and wait for the hatchling to emerge. After more than a moment of waiting, an assistant approaches to check the monitor, only to have a brief moment of panic and furiously open the incubator to find a decent-sized hole in the back of the egg. As he looks around in a panic, you spot a small orange silhouette attached firmly to the back of one of his legs, the Nickit only hopping off after noticing your eyes meeting, running beneath the incubator to stare up at you with a mischievous smile. You have hatched a male Nickit with EMs Quick Guard and Torment! ----- myahoo: Finding your Enigma Egg inside a rather odd-looking incubator, your approach seems to signal its sudden hatch, small cracks forming all around the egg as whatever is inside flails about in an attempt to escape. The moment the egg splits, a flood of water is emitted from the incubator, having been set up for any eventuality from the mysterious egg. As the water settles, a small, thin fish propels about the tank with surprising speed before the Arrokuda stops a moment to meet your gaze. You have hatched a male Arrokuda! ----- Ironthunder: Stepping inside the Hatchery, an assistant stands by the Board of Repeat Hatches with a marker, waiting to tick a box that simply reads "Sizzlipede". But as the Modern Bug Egg begins to hatch, a lack of small flames or even a spark prompts hope, and as the shell falls away entirely, the assistant puts the marker down, a small, spiral rock having been waiting for you inside. After a moment, an orange head peeks shyly out of its second shell, the Dwebble staring up at you expectantly. You have hatched a male Dwebble! ----- Connor: The Steel Egg you have left waits atop an incubator towards the back of the room, waiting for your arrival. It takes a moment for anything to happen, but after bit of patience cracking begins to sound. Oddly, you don't seem to see any cracks in the egg for a little longer, before the egg starts to crack from the bottom up before beginning to fall apart to reveal three small hairs atop a brown body, having already dug its way into the cozy nest of the incubator to reveal the mystery of its lower half. Turning about in place a moment, the Alolan Diglett eventually meets with your eyes, wondering why you aren't nestled comfortably into the floor. You have hatched a male Alolan Diglett with EM Hone Claws!

Prof.Enigma: As you enter the Hatchery you are guided to the twin incubators containing your Enigma Egg and your City Chic Egg. The former's incubator is a bit more complicated than the other, tracking a variety of vitals on a number of screens. After a bit of time, the second egg cracks open emitting a slightly sweet smell. A small, pink, bird-like creature emerges, flitting about a moment before resting on the edge of its incubator, the Spritzee staring about as she awaits the other egg's hatching. From the second egg you are surprised to find a similarly bird-like creature emerges, jagged edges breaking the egg apart with ease while simultaneously causing the nearby machines to malfunction for but a moment. The Porygon floats about aimlessly for a moment before noticing the first bird, and subsequently, you, and staring about expectantly.
You have hatched a genderless Porygon! You have hatched a female Spritzee with EMs Captivate, Refresh, and Wish! ----- sixdragons_in_atrenchcoat: Coming to your Dragon Egg tucked away safely in a corner incubator, your over-eager hatch is quick to poke a small tusk out of its shell before getting stuck a moment. An assistant runs over with haste to gently remove the surrounding egg, but as soon as the tusk is clear it withdraws into the egg only to rapidly begin poking holes on all sides. A moment later, the egg falls clear, revealing the small green form of your new Axew, happy to be free of her shell. You have hatched a female Axew with EMs Counter and Endure! ----- Zelphon: Your Ice Egg is placed safely within a confined and chilled incubator, wiggling about every now and again expectantly. After a few minutes of wiggling, it's clear the hatching should be any moment now. But instead of the egg cracking away from the hatchling, the entire egg begins to roll about, smacking the walls of the incubator repeatedly before finally cracking enough for a small blue orb to come flying out of the shell and clear over the walls of the incubator, the Spheal landing safely in your arms. You have hatched a female Spheal with EM Fissure! ----- grassyglide: You find an assistant watching over your Classic Flying Egg in the back of the room, poking and prodding at a monitor, clearly unsure of something. Upon closer inspection, despite this having been the time you were told your egg would likely hatch, there isn't a single sign of it being ready to. No movement, cracks, nor sound within. But sure enough, the hatchling senses movement outside, and without damaging the egg whatsoever, a small purple form simply phases through it, the Drifloon happily floating through the air around you and the assistant, ecstatic to explore the world outside. You have hatched a male Drifloon with EMs Body Slam, Clear Smog, and Destiny Bond! ----- CrazyCreeperKid: Your Modern Water Egg can be found in an aquarium-styled incubator along the far wall of the Hatchery. Completely submerged, you can only stare through the glass pane and water as you wait, before the soft cracking of the egg causes bits of the shell to rise to the surface. Signals beep on the monitors nearby before an assistant runs over and smacks a couple buttons on the machine, causing it to drain of water entirely. The reason becomes quickly clear, as your egg contained not sealife, but a waterfowl, the wide eyes of the blue bird staring around the room wondering what exactly just happened before they settle on you, the Cramorant giving a sqwauk of sorts as it meets your gaze. You have hatched a male Cramorant!
