After a few moments of pressing onward, his outstretched hand brushed up against something soft and smooth. Using his sense of touch as his guide, he felt around the surface of the object to discover that it was ovular in shape. Could this be an egg? It was pretty likely considering the island he was on, and lifted it cautiously to bring it closer into the light for inspection. As he made his way back to the entrance of the shrine, Gary gently set it down so that he could get a closer look. The egg itself was mostly navy with a white circle on it. It was certainly interesting looking, but Gary gut told him that this was not his egg to claim. Reaching down to his clip of Pokeballs, he pulled out a Love Ball and summoned one of his oldest and most trusted partners, an Ampharos with a large pink bow fastened to the tip of her tail. “Hey Amph, would you mind lending me a light? Let’s return this egg back to where I found it.” The Ampharos happily nodded as a light gradually emitted from the orb on her tail. Gary picked the egg back up and the pair headed back into the shrine where Gary set it back down where he assumed he had found it. Amph gave the egg a reassuring pat which caused Gary to chuckle. He looked around to see what he could find next.

Gary - Deciding that that one wasn't exactly the egg for you, you slowly walked back to where you found it. Now with a light to help guide your way through the darkness. Placing the egg gently where it once sat, you ventured deeper into the shrine. You were extremely thankful that you now had your trusted partner with you, as you were able to see in the darkness much better than before. |

Despite being a Water Pokémon, Buizel was an excellent climber, his skills matching that of his trainer, a seasoned nature adventurer. And don’t forget about Jake’s Starly. Even though he was a relative newbie in terms of skill, he was a valuable part of Jake’s team nonetheless, and he could fly, meaning that their blue-feathered friend was zooming ahead. Starly eagerly peeked into every nook and cranny, every nest, for signs of a Pokémon egg. There were signs of other trainers that had passed through the area. Jake grunted as he swung past a vine like Tarzan in an effort to catch up with his Starling Pokémon. As Buizel followed, Jake exclaimed, “Will this canopy ever reveal something? I swear, we’ve been searching for an hour already, and zilch. These berries aren’t on the branches for nothing.” He fingered a Nanab Berry hanging on the tree. “Buizel,” the Sea Weasel Pokémon agreed. They had been searching for a pretty long time, they should have found something by now! “Oh well,” Jake said, sighing as he and Buizel leaped to another branch. “I hope Starly is working hard, ’cause I’d hate to lose him in this dense brush.” He could just see the Normal- and Flying-type clearing the next two branches.

Gary was focused more on what was in front of him, but jumped as he heard Amph cry out from behind him. He whipped around to find the Ampharos sitting on her caboose and holding her foot. “Amph, are you okay?” Gary asked with a concerned smile as he crouched down and helped relieve his Pokemon’s injured foot. Amph slowly nodded while wincing but reached over to her side to carefully hold up the spiky object she had stubbed her foot on. It was another egg, but this one looked quite different from the one Gary had found before. It was yellow in color with a set of small red spikes jutting out of it. As he took in its features, a feeling welled up inside of Gary that was quite different from before. “This is the one,” he grinned, ignoring the irony of someone with such a scientific background relying on gut instincts so often. “What do you think, Amph?” She looked at the egg, still wincing slightly from her stubbed toe. However, her maternal instincts overcame her feelings of pain and brought the egg closer to her while holding it very delicately.

After some time, Spirit, an owl and definitely not as accustomed to flying for so long as Wildwing, began to tire and fluttered down to the clearing floor. She landed in a bed of oddly colored flowers and hooted to make sure everyone else knew where she was before attempting to settle in for a nap. While she was shifting around, she ended up bumping her head on a rock and squawked in surprise, wings flapping to help her regain her balance. Concerned calls came from her teammates, but she ignored them for the moment. Why was there such a big rock here? She tilted her head to one side and pulled some flowers away to reveal that the rock was actually an egg! Spirit hooted in excitement, calling for her teammates, and immediately had Wildwing landing nearby. Wildfire quickly followed with Melissa not far behind and the four of them examined the egg. It was white on the bottom with alternating purple and cyan stripes, matching the flowers it had been hidden in. Spirit twisted her head to hoot a question at Melissa as Wildfire wondered if they were actually going to be lucky this time. "Yeah, yeah, I think it is," Melissa said, reaching out to tap on the egg. If it was going to hatch as quickly as Spirit had, she didn't want it in her lap when it did. "Whaddya know? We might've actually gotten lucky this time."

Gemini Spark- Thanks to Calder, you'd already found your first egg! The foal trots around proudly, he hadn't exactly found the egg on purpose, but you could say he had a gut feeling about it? You had a strong gut feeling as well, this was the egg for you. While the egg didn't exactly scream Fire type, it had enough hints along with its location to almost guarantee a fiery nature. Your Pokemon gather around you as you grasp the egg in both hands. The egg soon begins to shake. You're unsure whether its good timing on your behalf or the combined heat of the area and your Fire Pokemon, but regardless of the cause, the egg was hatching!
Curious eyes watch on as cracks develop across the egg's surface. Suddenly the egg has endured enough and releases a burst of light, temporarily blinding all present. Your vision soon returns however and you lay your eyes upon the adorable little hatchling. Long white ears and a big grin greet you, shortly after a pair of powerful feet begin to kick and push against your legs. You release your hold on the Pokemon and it takes off, running rings around you and your Pokemon. It was fast! Calder begins to chase the hatchling, doing his best to catch the biped but he struggles to gain ground. You better put this new Pokemon in a Pokeball before he decided that running circles wasn't as fun as running away! You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Scorbunny - 1 TM Flamethrower - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Maskerade- Bagon wanted this egg as well, however his motives were completely different from the last egg. It wasn't his stomach crying out for this egg, it was his heart. He knew whatever hatched from the egg would likely be able to fly, if it could fly, then surely it could teach him? Probably not, he lacked the structural requirements in his current form, what he needed was patience, not a teacher. You know you won't be able to tell him though, so instead you decide to keep the egg. It would likely be too hard to return it to its nest anyway. You place the egg on the ground, allowing Bagon to come and get a better look. The Dragon looks over the egg with curiosity, circling it slowly to inspect it from all angles. How long would it take for this thing to hatch anyways? Suddenly you hear a crack, snapping you from your thoughts. It isn't the egg hatching though, Bagon is headbutting the egg! Did the little Dragon have any patience?! As you pull him away from the egg, you notice a crack running through it. Had he broken it? A few moments pass without a sound, eerie to say the least. Finely something breaks the silence. The egg begins to shake violently, cracks splintering off from the original. In a sudden burst of light the egg hatches, revealing a rather chirpy bird Pokemon! The hatchling ruffles its feathers before stretching out its wings. Bagon immediately mimics the action. A few beats lift the hatchling off the ground, it looks unsteady at first and it isn't long before it gets the hang of it. Bagon tries like he has many times before, but gets the same result. Disappointed, Bagon's head drops. The hatchling flutters over and lands atop the Bagon's head, staring at you curiously. You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Rookidee - 1 TM Acrobatics - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Meetan- You'd been busy searching for an egg, but Theo had been standing right next to one! That silly Amaura! Regardless of how much time you'd wasted, you now had your first egg. After fixing up your hair, removing the twigs and leaves, you place the egg on the ground. Theo gives the egg a once over, it really was pure white, other than that drool. The Amaura has his nose right up near the egg, giving it a good sniff when it suddenly shakes, booping his snoot. The Amaura scrambles backwards, startled by the sudden movement. The egg starts of shaking occasionally, but it isn't long before it really starts to move. The shakes get my violent and the egg begins to roll around on the ground, gathering speed as cracks begin to develop along its surface. You reach down to stop the egg, but as your hands touch it, a bright light bursts from within. When the light fades, you find yourself grasping soft wool, rather than hard shell. The mass of wool is as pure white as the egg it had come from. The newly hatched Pokemon lets out a timid bleat, curling into a ball it rolls away from you. Was it scared? It rolls around for a while before coming to a stop, giving Theo a chance to say hello. The friendly Amaura moves in again, keen on getting another sniff. As he closes in, the Pokemon uncurls itself and licks the Ice type's face, it seems to like him! You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Wooloo - 1 TM Body Slam - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. CyberBlastoise- You'd made quite the discovery. Not just a hidden chamber within the shrine, but an egg as well! The symbol on the egg's surface was intriguing, but you had a feeling that there was more here for you to discover. After jotting down the symbol in your notebook, you set your team to task, there had to be more to this chamber. Megas continues the work that saw him find the chamber in the first place. The Golett works his way around the room, thumbing the sturdy walls with his heavy fist, hoping to find a weakness. Silver on the other hand, was tasked with cleaning the filth off the walls. The chamber seems to have remained untouched for quite some time. Dust and grime had accumulated on the walls, perhaps concealing some secrets. The steady Water Gun quickly begins to clear away the decades of neglect, revealing a few new runic symbols which you jot down. It isn't long before Silver strikes gold though. The water reveals a small button embedded in the wall. Silver quickly rushes over and presses it, causing the chamber to shake. Suddenly the floor beneath you parts, causing all three of you to drop into the darkness..... The glow from above was faint, but you could just manage to see. Megas and Silver seemed alright, you didn't fall too far. This chamber was the same size as the one above, apart from debris from above, only one thing stood out. A grey and black egg sits upon a stone slab, strange red markings lining its surface. Ironthunder- It looked like you'd found what you were looking for. Not that you really had a choice at this point, this egg was hatching! What was within was anyone's guess, the egg was oddly coloured, whatever was inside would likely be fairly strange. The Crimson Fandango climbs out of your bag and onto your shoulder, the hatching of an egg enough to capture his interest. You sit down on a safe and sturdy branch, the last thing you needed was to trip and drop the egg, or fall to an untimely death..... The hatching of the egg takes some time. The cracks seem to develop slowly, while the egg steadily becomes more active. The Larvesta on your shoulder seems to be getting frustrated, you'd be waiting here all day at this rate. Patience was a virtue and you remain in your place, waiting for the Pokemon to reveal itself. Your eyes begin to grow heavy, if this egg didn't hatch soon, you'd fall asleep. Suddenly light begins to seep through the cracks in the egg, driving the fatigue right out of you. The light intensifies and the egg bursts open, but you find yourself looking at........ an apple? The Crimson Fandango looks out you with disbelief. Since when did apples come from eggs? This apple looked very similar to the egg it had hatched from, was it magic? Suddenly the apple shakes and a pair of bright green eyes pop out of the top, while stubby tail worms its way out of the bottom. It was a Pokemon after all! You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Applin - 1 TM Energy Ball - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Myahoo- You and the rest of your Pokemon quickly rush to Spirit's location. She had indeed found an egg. Not just any egg, it seems she found the egg you'd been looking for! You weren't even certain it would be here, but the Rowlet had managed to find it. Maybe she had a hidden connection with the egg? She was found on the Isle as an egg as well, perhaps that was what had drawn here to it? It didn't matter though, she'd found it, now it just had to hatch! Why wasn't it happening? Spirit had hatched quickly from her egg, barely giving you a chance to think. This egg wasn't even moving! All eyes were on it, waiting for a crack, a shake, a squeak, something! It isn't long before you start getting concerned, was there something wrong with the egg? Your Pokemon don't seem to know what is going on either, they're as confused as you. You all start thinking of ways to help the egg hatch. Wildfire moves in closer, using the heat from his flames to try and encourage the egg to hatch. No luck. Wildwing perches atop the egg and attempts to incubate it. No luck. You reach down and touch the egg again, hoping contact with a trainer would prod it into hatching. No luck. Spirit has an idea. She hoots at you all, taking to the air and flapping her wings. What was her problem? Wildfire catches on quickly, he turns away from the egg, giving it some space. Was Spirit trying to give the egg some privacy? You decide to give it a chance. The four of you turn your backs and it isn't long before you hear some action. Cracks and cries come from the egg, you resist the urge to turn back around. The burst of light signals the final stage of the hatch and you and your Pokemon turn around to great the new arrival. The shy pony is still lying in the bed of flowers, her beautiful mane and tail the same colour as the strange flowers. She gives a timid whinny, it seems she is a bit nervous. You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Galarian Ponyta - 1 TM Psyshock - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. |

Krelia rushed over to Smaug and looked curiously at what he managed to catch along with Miku, and picked up both pokemon and placing them on her shoulders while she picked up the Egg carefully and studied its markings and coloration. This egg seemed to call out to her and just like Spiritus seemed drawn to her she felt inclined to keep this egg with her and see what it hatched into. After thinking about it, this pokemon egg should be hers and not her brothers, not out of any malicious intent but rather because she reasoned he had enough on his mind following the Base's raid. Not only that but she also thought she needed to have another proper pokemon aside from Miku and Spiritus, Since she borrowed Smaug and Wolfe from her brother, they werent technically hers. Walking back to the Alter she called Wolfe and Spiritus over to her and set the egg carefully in front of them. "I do think I'm keeping this egg but what do you guys think about it?" She said to the pokemon and reached out once more to trace the designs upon the eggs outer shell.

“ ‘ello, ‘ello, what’s all this then?” Hugo asked, approaching Salandit, Drillbur in tow. The duo stared blankly at their trainer. *clears throat* “uh…yeah, sorry. Anyway, what’s do we have here?” Hugo reached into the den and grasped the egg. It was definitely larger than normal, that’s for sure. And heavy too. Salandit gently grasped at it as Hugo pulled it to the surface, hoping that Hugo may pass over this one as well. An egg that large would keep her fed for a week! “Whoa, hey. Come on now. We’ve got food at home,” he retorted. The repitile pouted, shooting a puff of smog at Drilbur when Hugo wasn’t looking, even though he had nothing to do with it. Kids, am I right? The eggs orange and green coloration shimmered in the light, giving off a seemingly metallic appearance. Should Hugo move on from this one too? No. Hugo was having that gut reaction that he was looking for in the first egg, but never came. This is it. This is the one he would keep. (Taking this one please)

The three fell into what appeared to be a new chamber. "Ow..." Bill said. He looked around the dimly lit chamber. "Everyone okay?" Both of his pokemon gave a confirmation they were fine. "Another one of these...just how deep does this go?" The trainer started to reach for a flashlight when a redish glow caught the corner of his eye. Another egg sitting on a pedestal, this one covered in runes. He approached it slowly, and observed the stone pillar for any sort of traps. Bill placed his hands very carefully on the egg and lifted it slowly, alert to any signs of danger. Silver held his breath, ready to Water Gun anything that started to head to his trainer, while Megas' fists were also ready to spring into action. Slowly, Bill lifted the egg from its resting place. OOC: collecting the egg. |

Zorchic - Out of breath due to your non-stop climb in the search of an egg, you paused on one of the branches. Hands on your thighs as you bent over slightly and gave an exhausted sigh. Buizel, despite being a type not usually suited towards this sort of thing joined you on the branch. He seemed to show no signs of exhaustion, even waddling towards the next branch in the hopes of spotting something in the trees. You sighed, trying to catch your breath as you stretched your arms. Surely you would find something soon... right? You glanced upwards, spotting Starly a good ten feet higher than you. The diligent bird would weave itself between each branch in the hopes of spotting some sort of egg in a nest or along one of the twisted branches of the tree. |

Despite how tired Jake felt after searching for so long, eventually Starly found an egg! Exhausted, he took it off the bird's back. It was in a brown, yellow and black color scheme. Jake took a deep breath before tucking the egg inside a leaf cluster on a branch. It wasn't what he was looking for. "How are you feeling, guys?" he asked his Pokémon. "Star!" Starly chirped, showing that he was still fine and had enough energy to search some more. "Bui, Bui!" Buizel added. Seeing his trainer all worn out only encouraged him to keep looking. "Alright, guys," said Jake. "We'll search some more. What good is it if I'm stuck with a Pokémon I don't like? Let's keep going." He focused for a moment, hoping to restore some of his energy. Even a good climber couldn't go on forever. Jake and Buizel straightened their bodies, ready for more climbing, while Starly flapped his wings and started rising up the canopies once again.

Scorbunny, the Rabbit Pokemon. Scorbunny needs to run a few laps in order to generate heat on the pads on its nose and feet. Once it has enough heat stored there, it is ready to battle with its full strength. "Wow, pretty active, huh- whoa!" At that very moment, Scorbunny decided to show just how active he was by kicking himself out of Hyrem's arms and running around, Calder giving chase as the two ran laps around the others. Kenna was ready to chase the pair down should it be necessary, but Hyrem and Happy were not. Hyrem in particular was ready with a Premier Ball (3/4) as soon as the little bunny was in plain sight. "I think we've scored a goal...David!" Zone Capture!! A Lv. 1 Male Scorbunny has joined the party! Claim: TM Flamethrower Springtide Rare Candies Pair of Magical Elf Ears

"Whoa." Was all the trainer could remark at first, stunned by the whole thing, and tentatively, Alice tried to curb the egg's momentum. Only, as soon as her hand made contact, a blinding light forced the duo to look away. When she looked back, the face of a timid, bleating sheep greeted her, and Alice practically squealed with joy and delight. "Oh my gosh, look at them! They're so perfect and cute! Ee!" The blonde squealed again, frowning and making another sympathetic coo as the newborn rolled away, trying to get its bearings of them and the wonderful world around it. Her heartstrings were only tugged tighter at the sight of Theo and the Wooloo beginning to get along, even if Theo was taken aback at the lick. She let her Pokedex process the creature's information, humming and beginning to deliberate on a name for the newest member of their ever-growing family. "Hmm, what about Wilhelmina? Wil for short." Alice considered. Neither Theo or the Wooloo seemed to have any complaints, so Alice decided that it stuck. Wilhelmina the Wooloo. How very precious and perfect she was indeed! ((Picking up my Wooloo and the other items. Using my TM Body Slam on Maasa the Piloswine. Thank you!))

The marketplace here was lively, bustling with new tourists as the islands were once again open the the public. Something about Eggs showing up here, and all Fizzy Trainers were open to the Galarian Egg Hunt. Galar... That region was new to him. It was near Kalos, from rumors Leo heard, but he never really heard much more beyond that. Besides, they mostly made Curry there, not baked goods. A Kalosian Patissere was more interesting then some region that made Pokemon Battles into sports. But, a new friend from a new region might be what he needs to get out of his current slump. He was out of eggs at this point, struggling with meringue. He'd either whip them perfectly but under bake them, or let them stiffen a little too long and cause them to burn up immediately. The baker sighed, this was certainly a road block he needed to get over. With his goal in mind, Leo started to look through the marketplace. He had a new little helper to help him along, a Dedenne he nicknamed Sandy. She was a precious gift, and in his darkest moments the Pokemon was able to lift him up. He hadn't felt such a strong innate bond with a Pokemon since he first found Custard, that mischievous Togetic. And she was small and fast enough to scout the area. "Alright baby girl, look for some Pokemon Eggs for me. They're about this big," Leo makes a motion with his hands. "I'll handle gathering the rest of the ingredients I need!" He knew he could trust Sandy. Her natural knack to just randomly pickupitems certainly has proved useful. With Sandy doing her thing, Leo started to look around the market for some treats he could use in the kitchen. HE sure needed normal eggs, and maybe some cream would be nice. Also, berries native to the islands would be a nice flair he could try out. With his goals in mind, Leo headed deeper into the markets.

The baby was odd…and big…but Hugo couldn’t help but smile. He was right in making his decision. She was weird, but so was he and everyone else on his team. That’s what makes them great! …Right? Anyone? Regardless, before long, Salandit and Drilbur were gleefully playing along, chasing after the elephant’s truck. Salandit still looked hungry and would at some point most likely try to eat Cufant, and Drillbur, and probably even Hugo. But for now, together, they would enjoy the fun and harmony. “This is really beautif—*HACK*….alright, we really need to get out of this smog.” Claiming: - Lv. 1 Female Cufant (putting her in a Pokeball) - 1 TM Iron Tail - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. CyberBlastoise- Surely this was a trap? Your Pokemon stood on guard, ready for the inevitable reaction to you picking up the egg. As you wrap your hands around the egg's smooth surface, the red markings on its surface begin to glow. That wasn't ominous at all.....
You carefully lift the egg up, but as soon as the pressure is taken off the slab, you hear a heavy clunking noise. Hear it comes! You brace for the torment that is surely coming your way, but when you relax you notice that the far end of the chamber has collapsed, revealing a long stairway heading back up. Light from outside floods in, it seems you have a way out! You and your Pokemon slowly make your way up the stone stairway, watching your feet the entire time to ensure you don't trigger something else. Before long, you find yourself back outside the shrine. As soon as you step on the grass, the egg begins to shake, as if it senses it is finally free of the shrine. You place the egg on the ground and watch on eagerly as cracks begin to spread across the egg's surface. In a blinding flash the Pokemon bursts free from the egg, but when your eyes finally adjust, all you see is a broken stone tablet. Megas picks it up and inspects the stone, curious about the red markings strewn across it. Suddenly the stone is ripped from the Golett's hands as a dark spectre appears out of thin air. It appears to be anchored to the stone, seemingly bound to it for eternity.... You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Galarian Yamask - 1 TM Earthquake - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Congratulations on finishing your Galar Release Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Lil'twick- You finally manage to drag yourself out of the kitchen. It was probably for the best, you needed a break. So much practice was for nothing if it left you burnt out, you needed a reprieve. That wasn't to say you couldn't use the time to benefit your progress, a trip to the Springtide Isle would give you a chance to gather some supplies and new ingredients. Even better than new ingredients would be a new team member, one that might have skills that would be helpful in the kitchen. From the docks it is a short walk to the marketplace, which as usual is fairly busy. Between all the trainers arriving to search for eggs and the locals going about their business, the marketplace was overrun, you just hoped that didn't mean they were low on stock...... While you head off in search of ingredients, you set Sandy the task of locating one of the hidden Galarian Eggs. The Dedenne took off, weaving effortlessly between people's legs as she heads off on her search. She scrambles through alleyways, burrows through crates and searches through stalls, leaving no stone unturned. Eventually she finds herself searching through a stall selling MooMoo Milk at the far side of the marketplace. While looking through a crate of the product, something catches her eye. Nestled in the middle of the crate, between all the bottles, it was an egg! The egg was a creamy colour, it smelt sweet, like one of your delicious desserts. She looks around, trying to spot you. If you wanted this egg you'd better get there soon, before someone else comes along and snags it. Last edited by TheKnightsFury; 12-13-2019 at 07:55 PM. |

Krelia reached out carefully and touched what appeared to be a yamask, but not... where its mask was usually held, it had a piece of stone that was white with a red pattern on it. "You are certainly unique arent you? Would you like to come with me?" She held out a pokeball up to it and with the Yamasks nod, she pressed the ball carefully against its head and activated the capture function, opening up the ball and pulling the yamask inside Then with a few shakes, it clicked shut with the little star lights flashing to show the capture was complete. "you stay in here for now, and when we get back home ill prep you soom food okay?" Krelia then turned and returned all but Wolfe back into their balls and made her way back to the coast, from where she first came, to head back home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Claiming 1 Female Galarian Yamask - 1 TM Earthquake - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Pair of Magical Elf Ears (Held Item)- This item allows the holder to use the move ‘Trick’ as long as the user holds this item. This item magically returns to the original holder at the end of the battle. Putting Her in a pokeball ( 1 of 8 )

However, it seemed like her sleeplessness was a blessing in disguise: that night, a mail delivery Delibird showed up, on an urgent express run. Surprisingly, one of its pressing deliveries was a letter to her: one originating from Springtime Isle, an isolated area usually closed off from visitors, but occasionally open their doors to trainers when needing help. One of those times happened to be Mélina's first adventure as a Pokémon trainer, one where she helped collecting eggs spread out by the Springtime Pyukumuku, and found her beloved Minior, Catalina. After reading the letter, she learned that despite Pyukumuku resting, eggs has recently appeared again on the island. To avoid yet another case of overpopulation, trainers were called once more to find eggs and collect one. Feeling nostalgic of her first trip, and feeling a bit guilty for skipping the previous opportunity to go back there, the Kalosian set out to the island. On her arrival at the Springtime Isle's port, Mélina couldn’t help feeling uncomfortable, although not sure exactly why. Was it the graffiti that was etched and scratched all over the place? Perhaps it’s been so long since she last ventured on a proper adventure , she’s feeling a little nervous? Maybe she’s just a little seasick? Whatever the reason, it made her feel not as brave and adventurous as usual. She still didn’t want to ruin her visit though, and wanting to take one egg of her own. So to compromise, after staring at the island’s map for ages, she settled to visit a place she felt safe and comfortable with: the Harborside Market. Just to cement her decision, the trainer realized she had some holiday shopping to do, so maybe searching for a few exotic gifts there will be perfect… all while keeping an eye on those eggs, of course. So with her Swoobat Indy resting on her shoulder and Sleuthing the surroundings’ Odors, they explored the sea-smelling marketplace to take in all what it has to offer - or what they might be hiding. |

Unable to contain the giant grin on his face, Gary peered down as the strange creatures burst from the egg and fell into line as one of them seemingly took up the role as leader and beckoned them. The leader shielded its eyes, causing the formation to appear almost like an armored caterpillar as they wobbled forward awkwardly, and yet in perfect unison. It was fascinating how in-sync they were despite having only just been born. “Hey there, little guys,” Gary cooed as he reached his hands out to them. He quickly scanned them with his Pokedex, and the entry recited, “Falinks, the Formation Pokemon. The six of them work together as one Pokémon. Teamwork is also their battle strategy, and they constantly change their formation as they fight.” “Well, we should probably come up with names to call you all by,” Gary smiled as he sat down on the ground and crossed his legs. The Falinks gathered around and formed a circle in front of his lap. Even just after birth, Gary could tell these guys were attentive, brave, and proud, just like the fabled warriors told from legends of ancient Greca. He reached out and picked up the one who seemed to be the leader of the troop. “You will be Leonidas, the dauntless leader.” Leonidas lowered his shields and stared up at Gary happily with his blue eyes. Gary moved on to the rest of the troop, picking them up one by one and bestowed them with names. Achilles, Nestor, Cadmus, Electra, and Rhesus he called them. They each had their individual quirks, but they were stout and resolute as one unit. He could tell already that whatever orders he gave to Leonidas, the rest would follow obediently. Pulling out a Luxury Ball, he held it out to officially add the Falinks onto his team. Collecting the following Pokemon and items, thanks! Lv.1 Genderless Falinks 1x TM Submission 3x Rare Candies, feeding to Falinks to increase from lv.1 -> lv.4 1x Pair of Magical Elf Ears

Wildfire glanced up at her and then scooted closer to the egg, flaring his flames in case the egg was cold. Nothing. Wildwing fluttered atop the egg and hunkered down, trying to warm it up like she had been warmed by the Delibird in Delibird Ridge. Still nothing. Melissa reached out and rested a hand on the egg. "Why won't you hatch?" she asked softly, starting to become concerned. She hoped the Pokémon inside was okay. Spirit hooted a suggestion. Wildfire pointed out that it didn't matter for her. Spirit replied that it wasn't her hatching again, was it, and then took off, giving the egg plenty of room. Wildfire rolled his eyes, but gamely turned his back on the egg and told them to give it some privacy. Melissa raised an eyebrow at him as she turned around too, but had to admit that Spirit had the right idea when the sounds of cracking eggshell hit her ears. Wildwing shuffled her wings as Wildfire clambered into her lap, helping Melissa resist the urge to look. There was a final flare of light and then Spirit swooped down to land in front of the Galarian Ponyta. Melissa almost dumped Wildfire out of her lap in her hurry to turn around and her new Ponyta ducked her head further into the bed of flowers. She timidly whinnied a greeting that Wildfire and Spirit cheerfully returned, while Melissa stared in awe. A tail and mane the same color as the top half of the egg, a white body lighter than Blitz, cloudy forelocks, and a unicorn's horn. Even though Melissa had seen them in the camera trap in Galar's Glimwood Tangle, it definitely didn't compare to the real thing. "You are adorable," Melissa said, watching the Ponyta's ears flick towards her and then away. "That's Spirit. She came from here too, but a while back." Spirit hooted encouragingly. "That's Wildwing. She's also relatively new to the team." Wildwing obligingly chirped a welcome. "And this is Wildfire." Her starter waved. The Ponyta blinked and peeked out as Melissa hummed. "What do you think of the name Mirage?" The Ponyta flicked both ears forward and whinnied. "Like that name, huh? Well, c'mon, Mirage. Let's go see what there is to see." Collecting one Lv. 1 Female Galarian Ponyta in a Pokéball, 1 TM Psyshock, 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies, and 1 pair of Magical Elf Ears. Thanks!

The two Litwick search diligently, while being careful not to knock over any furniture or potentially set anything on fire. Who knows what kind of spirits are still resting in this place and wouldn't like to see their home being vandalized after they're dead? There isn't much warmth to be gained through no matter how hot Waffle's oven got, almost as if the surroundings were sucking up all the heat as well. Although you huddle close, you can still feel the chill in the air, and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. While the adventure was great, you probably shouldn't try to get hypothermia while you're at it. After a little while, there's a sudden exclamation as Pan finds something hidden in the cupboard of an old china cabinet, and very carefully pulls it out. Patty and Blueberry come out to see what Pan found as he carries it and places it in front of you, the egg covered with quite a bit of wax. It's a two-tone egg, the top having a darkest, almost forest green color while the bottom is a much lighter green, almost gray looking in the lighting. There were spots of red covering it too. It seems that Pan had found a Pokemon egg, although it wasn't immediately obvious what kind of egg it is. Any egg found in a place like this is probably pretty spooky in origin, but that's possibly all you can gather. Pan seems pretty excited about finding the egg, but what will you do with it now that it is found? Raves: Caritas sighs as she looks over the other Pokemon, hoping that they won't get into too much mischief while at the Shrine. While it was hastily redecorated by a bunch of miscreant Pokemon itself, disturbing the shrine in its current state is probably not a good idea. Morgul and Kris were busy looking at and around the hastily placed decor, but they didn't seem to have any luck in finding anything interesting. Maybe the Shrine had already been picked over by other, less scrupulous individuals? That would certainly be not great. Suddenly, however, after focusing intently, Asclepius points into the distance at a strange looking rock. It seems to be covered in weird red markings, and initially, Caritas doesn't quite realize what she's looking at. Sure its a rather mysterious rock, but outside of its weird red markings and its mysterious smooth and oval like a shape... Oh. Wait. That's an egg! Caritas wanders over to it and picks it up, holding it in one of her arms. It certainly would have been easy to look over the egg, as it almost seemed carved out of an ancient slab, with the majority being black except for the greyish-brown area and its strange markings. Caritas wasn't exactly sure what about the egg made it possible to spot by Asclepius, but looked at it worriedly. Asclepius seemed a little pleased at its discovery, and shortly soon after Morgul and Kris come by to examine it as well. They didn't seem too bothered with it, but there was probably something only Asclepius could feel about the egg. Maybe it's cursed? Maybe you should return the egg slab. What will you do!?

Scylla looked a little bummed but politely put the egg back in the snow where it was before. There were certainly other Pokemon eggs to find in here, but Scylla wasn't sure where to continue looking, especially with Daphne essentially performing demolition services to all the icicles on the ground. She illuminated herself once again and continued to search, looking in the nooks and crannies she could reasonably fit in.

Zorchic - Exhausted, but still determined. You continued your trek upwards. Your grip wasn't quite as strong as it had been previously, so climbing the tree took longer than you would like. Starly continued to look in the large nooks and holes that filled the berry tree, while Buizel climbed upwards rapidly --- only pausing to shuffle along the long branches and hoping to find an egg cradled in the leaves and narrow branches of the winding berry tree. The signs of other people and Pokemon seemed to subside, appearing as though you alone had climbed this far up. You felt a quiver of fear in your heart that most trainers had not gone past this point due to already scooping up all the eggs that were within the berry tree. |

Daphne looked kind of proud of having gotten the egg down, and although she was trying not to show it, the woman chuckled and gave her a quick pat on the head. "You did good Daphne and Scylla. Now, let's take this egg with us, shall we?" Scylla and Daphne both agreed, Scylla flipping through the air, partially happy to be out of this damnable, freezing cave. The woman didn't quite know what was going to hatch out of the egg, but she had a feeling it was going to be a party member she would be able to get along with. (OoC: Taking this egg! BOI)
