Manectric gets Flamethrower, which allows him to beat Steel and grass types more easily.

The only good Grass types in OU Raikou easily smashes with Aura Sphere and Extrasensory.

Anything that spins risks a free switch in for Raikou, Landorus-I, Conkeldurr, Keldeo, or Scizor...so that's some ridiculous offensive pressure. I'm really happy with the team, I like the way it plays.

2xOverheat outdamages 2xFlamethrower, which is why I can't think why anyone would run it. But anyway, what Blaze said.

It's interesting to note that Extrasensory is a 3HKO on Venusaur. Man, fuck Venusaur.

BTW, should I max out EVs on a Modest ScarfRaikou? Not sure if there's a speed tier I can hit and be happy with.

I was simply mentioning a niche Manectric has over other electric typs. Yes, Raikou is good. I wont deny that. Its just unfortunate that hes forced to run a Rash nature when using Aura Sphere

Yeah I'm running Aura Sphere/Volt Switch/HP Ice/Extrasensory. I feel the coverage is a lot more important than T-bolt.

Deoxys-D is my main problem. I'm not sure when it went to OU, but it was Übers at one point, and I think there it should have stayed.

Well I literally looked through the Smogon Analyses, picked Landy-I and BulkySDScizor because I like them and they're awesome, and went looking for teammates :P But that's enough about my teambuilding.

That was last gen when things like Aegislash and the new and improved Bisharp didnt exist in OU.

Deoxys attack, I"m good with in OU because it actuall trades defense numbers for offense ones. Deoxys Defense still gets decent attack while it's defense stats are equivalent to Deo-A's Attack numbers.

Back in my day, only one Deoxys wasn't Uber, and that was Deo-S. IMO, that's how it should still be.

Show me replays of you successfully using an offensive Deoxys-D, and I might listen to you. Untill then, just stop. What youre saying has no real merit.

Also Deoxys A shreds everything that doesnt have a priority move. Very few things can take a hit from him.

How Baton Pass teams go against my new OU Team:

They lead with Smeargle, I lead with Lando-T.

I switch to Magic Bounce Espeon, they use Spore. Smeargle falls asleep.

They forfeit.

That's usually how things go.

Deoxys A can't take a hit for crap so maybe it could be OU.

What I'd really want is the old gen 4 Deoxys tiering where only Speed was non-Uber.

Also Deo-S was banned for quite a while in Gen IV. It was also banned before D in Gen V.

My point is that I agree with that. You guys feel Normal and Attack are broken, and IMO defense is just too good. Speed is meh.

I know youve watched my replays. Im sure most people here have watched at least one. Please tell me how Speed is meh. When you play him right, he gets KOs that other Pokemon could only dream of thanks to that speed stat of his. Not even Scarfchomp can catch him (who is OHKOed by Ice Beam, I might add)
