Arriving at the monolith top after a precarious trip through the now crumbling tunnels, the raiders who answered the Gym Leader's call are quickly met by their Dynamaxed foe. Having continued to dance its way around the perimeter, it reached the mouth of the tunnel in its rotation and shook out its feather fans aggressively at the gathered group. With the battle about to begin, the crimson wisps of Dynamax energy weave their way about the body of Emp's Heliolisk, providing them with the Initiative for the opening round.

Celyn brought xyer hair up and looped it around in a bun, then took xyer coat off and tied it around xyer waist. Today marked xyer first-ever Max Raid battle in this new world, alien to xyer.

Celyn came from a world where half of the Pokémon that existed either fell extinct or never existed in the first place. Where while technology was just as advanced if not more than here, but where this world had living specimens of pokemon that evolved from man's technological advancements. When xyer little brother came back home and told of a world identical to theirs but far more advanced and with many many more pokemon Xye simply couldn't believe it and wanted to experience this first hand. Trembling Xye looked up at the Sensu Oricorio, a Pokémon xye adored since a child, and trembled in excitement. A lot of Alola fell into disarray after a huge influx of trainers visiting Alola.... and releasing nonnative Pokémon to the region, Forcing many to adapt or die in the process. This drove batches of species to extinction. Oricorio being one of the many to never be found again. Alolan Sandslash was one of these pokemon as well and when Ceyln came to this world and saw that xyer brother had an Alolan Sandslash, she asked if xye could have it as a partner.

Obviously, Xyer brother agreed because Celyn stood here now, commanding Everst to go in for a devastating Throat Chop to the sensu bird. Celyn thought to herself... this world could be worth staying in.

Not wasting any time, the raiding Pokémon began to execute the strategies given by their trainers. Corsola enveloped itself with a series of replenishing rings of water whilst Heliolisk ignored the Dynamax energies surrounding it to charge up for the next round instead. Facing off against the awesome Oricorio, Mightyena unleashed an almighty Snarl, lowering the avian's attack power at the same time before the Alolan Sandslash leapt up high to chop at the bird's throat. With the raiders attacks complete, the Oricorio hopped to stand at equal distance from the party before starting to perform a most peculiar dance. The intensity of the strange dance soon left the Pokémon before it confused and the Oricorio took this opportunity to dart forward, shaking its fans as it summoned a Max Flutterby to strike Heliolisk and lower the raiders strength collectively.

Celyn let an exasperated sigh slip out... Xe forgot that Oricorio were dancers. This wasn't necessarily a thing that was well known in xer homeworld. A lot of data on the extinct Pokémon got lost to a surge of wars, and the few things that were left to this current day and age... well they weren't always complete.

Basic anatomy, typing, sizes, and names. That's all they had on extinct pokemon. It was heartbreaking to xer for this coming to be in the first place. It really started with the uprising of the cults hunting down the pixie legendaries such as Mew and Celebi, and with the said being so elusive in the first place it was hard to prevent them from being hunted. Drake wouldn't admit it when he was a part of the ranger core, but Celyn could tell that a lot more went down with the Pixie Hunts than they let the public know... Once the Cults won the race in the Pixie Hunts it only went downhill from there. All-out gang v gang battles broke out across the regions and the police forces started to wear thin. Then, the old disbanded Teams such as Rocket and Magma / Aqua and Galactic suddenly reformed and took up new mantles of leadership within their groups and started to resume their hunts for the trainers that disbanded them and took the legends with them. They were still kids... Albeit clever and powerful kids...

Celyn ordered Everst to launch Icicle Crash, and hoped the sandlash would land through the confusion.

With the Oricorio's crazed dancing having confused the raiders en mass, each of the four had to gather themselves for their ordered attack. With three raiders managing to push past the befuddlement, their moves met their mark and the gigantic bird quickly set about erecting its first wave of shields. Heliolisk wasn't quite so lucky, managing to hurt itself in confusion and lose its charge at the same time. Comfortable behind its shields, Oricorio sets about its own assault. First up, it starts to dance again, this time there was something ominous about the way the avian moved and it almost seemed as if the essence of the dead clung to the air as it darted forwards to strike Corsola. It wasn't done there, though, flapping its impressive wings to engulf Mightyena in a Max Airstream. As the round came to an end, Corsola replenished some of its health with the rings of water that surrounded it and began to glow with the tell-tale sign of the Dynamax Initiative.

What could kids do when newer... eviler morally teams took family members hostage and then dispose of them anyways once they got what they wanted... well some of the kids managed to destroy some of the teams apart but... In the end, the organizations won. Cultists started coming out of the wind works from there, Gym leaders were drafted into what would later be called the Rebirth Core along with the police, International, and the Ranger Corps. Wars broke out between the opposing sides, catching up civilians in the crossfire along with Pokémon.

Xer family was at the center of it all. All of the family members spare the youngest children were thrown into the fray. It was to be expected when one of the biggest supporters of the Rebirth Core was the Lysandre Labs, who were xer and xer siblings' parents. Formerly Xe was a part of the International Police and even once was a ruling champion of the Sinnoh region for 5 years... so xe was already involved with this and it was something xe was used to and took to it with great pride. Krelia... Krelia was on her way to become the lead scientist of Lysandre Labs and on her way to making the creation of a lifetime for the whole world. Being able to reconstruct the molecular DNA of formerly extinct Pokemon...

Despite being very careful and not letting anyone else outside of the family know what she was working on... The Purity Organization found it out regardless.

Despite the confusion still wracking the group, the majority of the raiders pushed through to initiate their commands. In a moment, Gary's Corsola grew at an exponential rate and stood just as tall as its foe before dropping a Max Rockfall on the bird's shields. Heliolisk and Mightyena are quick to follow, smashing through the remaining two panels. At the same time, Heliolisk's attack sapped hitpoints from its team mates. Alolan Sandslash doesn't have quite the same success as its raid mates and ends up hurting itself as it struggles against the confusion. With defences down, Oricorio tries to prepare itself as best as it can for the round to come by dragging a Max Steelspike out of the monolith below Corsola. It quickly follows this up by turning to the Heliolisk and flapping its humongous wings to create a miniature Hurricane. As the round comes to an end, the colossal Corsola is replenished once again from its Rings of Aqua.

Everst was knocked back as he charged straight into the walls, unfortunately, the moment he made contact he slipped and ended bashing his small icy body into it hard...

Krelia became the target of Purity because not only was she attempting to make a machine that would bring back more than just the ancient pokemon but she also was a key factor in taking down Purity's reign when it was discovered they were brainwashing members and Gym leaders to join their cause. She even managed to find a way to undo their brainwashing. As one would expect this made her into Enemy Number 1 for the Purity Organization, Every admin and gunts had orders to capture on sight, and Rebirth was forced to take her into hiding on Aether Isles... which only delayed their issue long enough for Krelia to come up with a more widespread cure for the brainwashing. Purity struck at Aether Isles and kidnapped Krelia and decided to harness the power of Dusk Necrosma and to leave this reality.

This caused a lot of stress and fear for both Drake and Celyn as they were in charge of keeping their sister safe on the Isles and they ultimately failed in the end. This nearly drove Drake to his breaking point and Xe only knew about this because she used to care for Drake in place of xyer mother who was unfortunately absent after Drake's birth. It wasn't their fault but it put a lot of pressure on both Celyn and Drake to grow up more...

With Mightyena taking a quick breather to heal up with a Full Restore, each of the raiders who were given commands managed to push past the Teeter Dance-induced confusion to deliver their attacks. First up, Heliolisk darts forward before standing on his hind legs and summoning a powerful Thunder against the awesome Oricorio. This is followed up by an Icicle Crash from the Alolan Sandslash before the colossal Corsola brings down a Max Rockfall on the unsuspecting avian. As the dust clears, it looks as if Heliolisk's confusion has passed but a sandstorm has started to whip around the monolith top. Through the sand, the raiders realise that the Oricorio has desperately erected another series of protective panels and was preparing its next attacks from behind their sanctuary. Swooping up high, the Dancing Pokémon reaches an altitude it is happy with before beginning its descent, a red glow overtaking its whole body as the bird delivers a Sky Attack to the Alolan Sandslash. That wasn't all, though; before the Mouse Pokémon can even get up on its feet, the Oricorio had already engulfed it in a blustering Hurricane and achieved its first knock-out of the bout. As the round came to a close, each of the Pokémon on the field except for Corsola felt the nipping pain of the sandstorm. On the contrary: much like last time, the Coral Pokémon was too busy benefiting from the healing properties of its Aqua Ring.

Celyn was shaken back into reality when Everst fell unconscious, and xe felt a stinge of embarrassment and regret for not paying better attention to the battle at hand with the Dynamaxed Oricorio...

Calling back Everst Celyn reached out with xer Dynamax band and let out a roaring cheer that xe hoped helped the other raiders break the remaining barriers the Oricorio set up. Then once more allowed xerself to get lost in the memories of home.
Anger washed over Celyn's mind. Anger at Purity for all the pain it caused xer family, and all the destruction it caused xer homeworld. So many Pokémon died, so many species went extinct. So many people. All of it, everything that was caused because one person had a god complex so strong they wanted everything and couldn't take No as an answer.

Celyn hopped Xer siblings and xerself could help fix the scars left on their planet through this one. Xe also hopped they could all help keep this planet safe from Purity and those like it. Celyn reached for xer rotomi phone and started to scroll through the photos xe asked Drake to transfer onto it. Photos of Family... Photos of Anabel and Looker and those from the International Police back home, Photos of Xer Pokémon she had to leave behind to come here...

Today Celyn vowed, never again. Never again will anything happen like this. Xe will do everything in xer power to alter the fate of this planet even if it cost xer life. Celyn will never wish upon this planet to suffer the same fate as home.
