Fizzy Power Co. Raid Battle 7: VS Electivire

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 100%
Shields Up: 0
Status: N/A

Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 500 HP
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 500 HP

The number of trainers showing up were far less than requested, but it would have to do. Electivire had already begun ripping chunks of rubble from the stadium, thanks to the wait for additional trainers, but its rampage couldn't be allowed to continue. A flash of Dynamax energy signals that this can't wait for another moment, and the battle is set to begin.

Dynamax Initiative: Zelphon, Dragapult.
  • Trainers may only list 1 order per round. They are also permitted to using 1 item in lieu of an attack.
  • Dynamax Initiative will select a trainer at random. If a trainer has initiative, they may choose to Dynamax their Pokemon for a duration of 3 turns. Dynamaxed Pokemon may only select a Max Attack of a corresponding type from their registered moveset, or Max Guard in place of status moves.
  • When issuing an attack, please state the attack's unbuffed Base Power (BP).
  • If a hold item or ability’s effect is activated in the present round as a result of the previous round’s damage calculation or the present round’s orders, please state it clearly in your response.
  • Roleplaying your orders is optional, but $250 may be collected for responses of 250 words or greater, and Bond will accumulate only for the trainer’s active Pokemon in battle.
  • You have until Tuesday, 10th of November to place your order.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 78%
Shields Up: 0
Status: Infestation (3-4 Rounds)
Terrain: Electric (4 Rounds)

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Max Lightning (140 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 290 HP
Attack 2: Discharge (80 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 134 HP
Zelphon, Dragapult: 383 HP
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 134 HP [Paralyzed]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 383 HP

Things start off fast and heavy as Infernape unleashes a devastating Z-Move, Techtonic Rage, slamming through a decent chunk of the boss's health, while Dragapult surrounds Electivire with an Infestation for some ongoing tick damage. The boss retailiates hard with a Max Lightning, striking for a heft blow to the Infernape while setting up Electric Terrain. Electivire ends the round with a Discharge for some hefty damage all around, which also manages to paralyze the already hurting Infernape before the Infestation ticks at the boss' health to signal the end of the round.

  • You have until Thursday, 12th of November to place your order.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 59%
Shields Up: 0
Status: Def -1, SpDef -1, Infestation (2-3 Rounds)
Terrain: Electric (3 Rounds)
Weather: Hail (4 Rounds)

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Max Hailstorm (130 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 36 HP
Attack 2: Wild Charge (90 BP)
Zelphon, Dragapult: 404 HP
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 5 HP [Paralyzed]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 360 HP [Dynamaxed (2 Turns)]

Infernape manages to push past its paralysis, unloading a Mach Punch into the boss that forces it to put up shields, which are promptly taken down as Dragapult Dynamaxes and blasts out a Max Phantasm. One opponent much healthier than the other, the boss looks to lower that gap with a Max Hailstorm, only to hit its unintended target in Infernape, setting up Hail in the process. Throwing regard out the window, a Wild Charge slams into Dragapult for a decent chunk, damaging the boss a bit in return. Hail then rains down, damaging the battlers, as Infestation rips away yet more of the boss' health.

  • Roleplaying your orders is optional, but $250 may be collected for responses of 250 words or greater, and Bond will accumulate only for the trainer’s active Pokemon in battle.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 50%
Shields Up: 2
Status: Def +1, Charge, Infestation (1-2 Rounds)
Terrain: Electric (2 Rounds)
Weather: Hail (3 Rounds)

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Barrier (0 BP)
Electivire's Defense sharply rose!
Attack 2: Charge (0 BP)
Electire's Special Defense rose!
Electivire is Charged!
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 0 HP [Must sit out 1 round to recover]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 316 HP [Dynamaxed (1 Turn)]

Unlucky for the raiders, Infernape's paralysis takes hold, preventing any damage output this round as Dragapult sets up a Max Guard. With its opponents either protected or soon to fall, the boss proceeds to set up its defenses, getting a Charge boost in the process. Hail and Infestation take their tolls, knocking out Infernape and forcing Electivire to put up its second set of shields.

  • Roleplaying your orders is optional, but $250 may be collected for responses of 250 words or greater, and Bond will accumulate only for the trainer’s active Pokemon in battle.
  • You have until Wednesday, 18th of November to place your order.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 41%
Shields Up: 0
Status: SpDef -1
Terrain: Electric (1 Round)
Weather: Hail (2 Rounds)

Raider Healing Summary:

TheKnightsFury, Infernape: Cheer
Zelphon, Dragapult: 666 HP
Raid Boss Attack Summary:
Attack 1: Max Lightning (140 BP)
Zelphon, Dragapult: 359 HP
Attack 2: Weather Ball (100 BP)
Zelphon, Dragapult: 209 HP
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 500 HP [Fully Recovered]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 118 HP

With Infernape out of the fight for now, it's up to Dragapult to take down the boss' shields, which is done handily enough with a Max Phantasm, lowering Electivire's defenses once more. The boss is none too happy with this dragon, blasting into it with a Max Lightning, the gigantic blow stripping away almost all of the healing that Dragapult had received at the start of the round. Then, putting the ongoing hail to good use, Electivire pops out a Weather Ball for a hefty super effective blow against its currently only opponent. Hail then falls and Infestation ticks one last time before fading, and the Dynamax energy powering Dragapult fades as Infernape returns to the field.

Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 28%
Shields Up: 0
Status: SpAtk +1, SpDef -1
Terrain: None
Weather: Hail (1 Round)

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Charge Beam (50 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 402 HP
Attack 2: Max Lightning (140 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 102 HP
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 71 HP
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 118 HP

Low on health, Dragapult opts to hide this round, preparing to strike on the next with an attack all but unavoidable. Infernape, on the other hand, takes advantage of the boss' lowered special defense with a STAB boosted Flamethrower. Retaliating, a Charge Beam finds itself striking Infernape, boosting Electivire's special attack in the process. This attack is swiftly put to good use, a massive Max Lightning striking down to deal a hefty blow to Infernape, leaving both raiders low as Hail once again strikes at the health of those able to be affected.

Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 1%
Shields Up: 0
Status: SpAtk +4, SpDef -1
Terrain: None
Weather: None

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Discharge (80 BP)
TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 0 HP
Zelphon, Dragapult: 19 HP
Attack 2: Metronome (0 BP)
Electivire used Tail Glow!
Electivire's Sp.Atk drastically rose!
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 0 HP [Must sit out 1 round to recover]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 0 HP [Must sit out 1 round to recover]

The raiders pile attacks into their foe, ready to take down the Electivire, who barely withstands the onslaught. A Discharge rips through the raiders, taking down Infernape entirely while leaving Dragapult in a rather sorry state. Wagging its finger, Electivire makes a motion with the rhythm of a Metronome, before sparkling lights appear before it, the Tail Glow massively raising the special attack of the boss. Then Hail falls before the weather fades, knocking out Dragapult and bringing the Electivire to its knees... only for the boss to stand back up, barely hanging on.

Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 1%
Shields Up: 0
Status: SpAtk +4, SpDef -1

Raid Boss Attack Summary:

Attack 1: Metronome (0 BP)
Electivire use Soft-Boiled!
Electivire recovered health!
Attack 2: Metronome (0 BP)
Electivire used High Jump Kick!
Electivire kept going and crashed!
Raid Challengers:
  • TheKnightsFury, Infernape: 500 HP [Fully Recovered]
  • Zelphon, Dragapult: 500 HP [Fully Recovered]

With both raiders out cold, Electivire wags its finger again, this time creating a large egg in front of itself, which it promptly eats to regain some health. Deciding that this Metronome wasn't enough, it does so one more time before launching itself high into the air and coming down with a mighty kick. With no target, it crashes to the ground, promptly losing all of the health it had just gained.

Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Dynamax Boss Electivire
★★★★

Health Gauge: 0%
Shields Up: 0
Status: KO
Terrain: None
Weather: None

As the boss stares down its two fresh opponents it quickly puts up a Max Guard, soaking up the Dragon Darts. But the punch gets through, doing more than enough to bring the boss down for good. An explosion signals the sudden loss of Dynamax energy before Electivire reverts to its original size, huffing and running off into the nearby woods.

The Leader comes to present rewards, handing the two trainers each a satchel for their efforts with a hearty "Thank you." on top of it all.

For their role in defeating the Raid Boss Electivire, the trainers are awarded with the following:

  • 30 Watts
  • x1 TR Thunder
  • x3 Wacan Berries
  • +4 Levels to participating Pokemon (4 Rare Candies if level 100)
