Sherlock
I'm late to the party but I just started watching this. I'm on S2E2 now and this show is absolutely brilliant. Steven Moffat does it again.
For those who aren't aware, it's a BBC miniseries about Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson set in modern times. Each episode is 90 minutes long and so far there are 6. It's a great show. Anyone here watch it? EDIT: Finished the show, can we get some spoilerific discussions up in here? MY GOD that finale was breathtaking.

I was hoping someone would post this thread because I've been in no emotional state to actually commit enough thought to this series to post a thread about it.

It's the yearly visit!

This is the best show on television right about now, and perhaps, dare I say it, even better than Doctor Who.
I just watched the last episode of the series for the second time. Aaaaarck, it's so gooooood. Especially the confrontation. This version of Moriarty is by far my favorite. And this show is fantastically quotable; so much so that half my last week's conversations at school ended up with someone referencing the show in some form. |

Well S1 was in beginning of 2010 and S2 end of 2011... with Cumberbatch and Freeman working on LOTR and Star Trek we probably wont see the result of that cliffhanger until 2014

Hey! Thread activity! Yay!
Okay, so... Spoiler: show Thankfully Sherlock 3 is done filming and should be out by the end of the year, I think is what I last heard was what it was set for. So hopefully the wait won't be much longer, it's been painful enough as is.

It's a good show. Makes the same mistakes every other Sherlock book or show does but it's great.

Rewatching A Scandal in Belgravia and my God if it doesn't have some of my favourite lines in the series, including gems such as:
"We are in Buckingham Palace, the very heart of the nation. Sherlock Holmes, put your trousers on!" And my personal favourite exchange: "Exactly how many times did he fall out of the window?" "Oh, it's all a bit of a blur, Detective Inspector. I lost count." Last edited by SoS; 11-29-2013 at 05:34 PM. |

Huh there's a thread for this, cool. I really like this show, though I've only watched the first episode of Season 3. I enjoyed it, but did anyone else think that it could have focused more on Sherlock's cleverness/detective abilities to rather than on an exciting script?
I think this is only the fourth thread I have ever posted in outside of the PASBL ^_^;;
