Re: Excelsior

The deep magenta shade of the swirling clouds covering Excelsior are now changing colour, their hue turning from magenta to purple to pink to orange before all of the colours begin swirling around together resulting in a gorgeous mulicolored whirlpool effect. The scene is breathtaking, so much more beautiful than that of the prettiest sunset anyone has seen. The clouds are now covering the entire continent, the air shimmering even more as whatever is occurring reaches its climax...

Neptune Cove

ZoraJolteon: Setting down in Neptune Cove, you decide it's time to find out what the strange events in the sky are all about. Releasing Slowqueen, you send her off to speak to the water types native to the area while Tropius heads closer to the trees to befriend a couple of Pokémon sitting there. Approaching one of the local men, you introduce yourself before asking about the unfolding events. You'd known something is strange about it but what the man has to say completely blows you away and you realise that stopping to talk may not have been the best thing to do considering the circumstances. The man explains that Excelsior is a land like no other, caught in a time rift after a powerful magical war many centuries ago which released energies so powerful they tore at the very seams of the fabric of time. Excelsior has traveled to the past and to the future, to times before humans existed and into periods where humans are extinct. The phenomena now taking place is a sign the land is ready to move on again, and that the process is nearly complete. If you're lucky you only have a minute or two to depart before you'll be whisked away with Excelsior as anything within a 1 mile radius of the continent is sucked into the time vortex along with Excelsior itself. Slowqueen and Tropius return to you at this moment, both confirming the story the man has told you and both eager to move along before you're all trapped here for eternity...

Rainforest

Pearls Perap: You can't re-use a Pokéball because when you release a Pokémon the ball is discarded. Also, even if you do release Buneary it's too late for a second capture now. So late that even a Master Ball capture attempt will fail.
Unwilling to leave Chatot literally hanging, you're also not particularly fond of witnessing the little bird becoming a meal. Releasing Venusaur, you point out the strands of webbing connecting the web to the trees, instructing her to aim her Razor Leaf at those to cut the web down. Following your instructions, her first flurry of sharp-edged leaves fail, some cutting into the strands of webbing, but most sticking to it. Her second attempt is basically the same, none of the leaves able to slice the sticky strands, but just as she is about to release her third attack you notice a large shadow descending from the trees and your eyes widen as the largest Ariados you have ever seen settles into the middle of its web. Its body alone is just a little larger than Kerry's, but its unfathomably long legs spreading across the web makes it appear even more gigantic. It stares straight at you, poison dripping from its pincers and burning holes in the forest floor as it drips to the ground...

Joshua: Considering the sheer viciousness of the attack you are witnessing, you know you're going to need some muscle on your side if you have any chance at all of helping Torterra. Thanking your lucky stars that portable PC's are available these days for situations such as this you make some quick switches and only seconds later Arren and Kenzie are beside you, immediately understanding the situation without you needing to say a word. Not removing their eyes from the struggle they are witnessing, they listen to your instructions before leaping into action. Arren is the first to launch his attack, slamming into one of the Drapion with Aerial Ace and knocking it for a six. It rolls several metres away from Torterra before standing and looking around angrily to find its attacker but only seeing Kenzie standing protectively in front of Torterra while staring down its partner as Arren is nowhere in sight, already circling above the trees and glowing white while charging energy for his next attack. Drapion is not about to allow its partner to be attacked and scuttles forward to attack when Kenzie unleashes a spiralling tornado of flames which encircle and trap both Drapion inside. Immediately trying to break free of Kenzie's Fire Spin they're quick to realise this isn't such a good idea as the fire burns even hotter while attempting to break break through its fiery walls. Both stand still inside, waiting for their chance to attack while rage burns in their eyes but while they patiently await their opportunity they're bombarded with dark images of Kenzie, Arren and Roxas who proceed to beat them up and push them into the wall of their fiery prison. Flinching back, the two Drapion release a double barrage of tiny spikes which fly toward Kenzie and Torterra, but Kenzie's Safeguard is already surrounding the two, absorbing the Pin Missiles and protecting them from taking any damage. At this moment Arren descends from the sky at high speed before swooping low and smacking into the two Drapion with such power that the Fire Spin dissipates and both Drapion take heavy damage from his Sky Attack. While trying to regain their bearings, the Drapion notice Roxas standing over their little Skorupi unleashing first a Dragon Pulse directly followed by a Water Pulse which sends their babies reeling. If they weren't already enraged enough, now they're positively out of control and lunge for the little Shinx. Thankfully Arren is quick and fires off a beam of psychic energy, his Confusion smacking one Drapion in the side and causing it to fly into its partner. They collide with a rather sickening crunch, but are quick to regain their feet. One Drapion continues on to attack Roxas while the other turns toward Kenzie and Arren. This is one battle that is well and truly far from over...

Phantom Desert

Dae~Maker: Though you'd like nothing more than to help the boy and his Turtwig you correctly sense that if you try doing anything to aide them you'll only find yourself in bigger trouble than you're already in. Glancing toward them a deep voice passes through your mind, "It is not the right time...". Startled by the invasion you look around to find all of the ghosts laughing at yet another pained cry released from Turtwig though you feel a shiver wrack your spine when glancing toward Dusknoir as you feel it's looking right through you. Spiritomb is becoming impatient however, demanding you return your attention to the odd keystone. Looking at it, you're a little confused at to what it may mean, or what purpose it serves though the fact it is standing on a pedestal leads you to believe it has some sort of spiritual significance and is perhaps even worshiped by the ghosts. While these thoughts pass through your mind you hear that same deep voice again, "Spiritomb's partner must not be released...", and this time when you glance toward Dusknoir you have no doubt at all it is the one communicating with you. Luckily Spiritomb doesn't notice you looking at Dusknoir or trouble will definitely ensue if it even suspects its second in command may be working against it, but right now you're too confused by the entire situation to really have any kind of grasp as to what is going on. Careful not to annoy Spiritomb you concentrate you attention upon the odd keystone, still not sure if you're supposed to comment on how impressive it is, whether you're supposed to touch it, or to even perform some kind of ritualistic task before it. "Play along for now. Lift the stone from the pedestal..." is the next comment to pass through your mind and while you're not sure if you can trust Dusknoir, that strange sixth sense you've been feeling since encountering this spectral crew is leading you to believe you're better off trusting in the fact Dusknoir is your ally as you're certain Spiritomb is not. Resigned to knowing you're going to need to play along with Spiritomb for the time being at least, you show respect by bowing before the stone which Spiritomb find quite impressive before reaching out and clasping it in your hand. Holding the stone up in front of you and uncurling your fingers, you notice the stone glow. First red, then blue, and then silver before returning to its natural colour. Spiritomb looks on, a gleeful expression in its eyes before looking back at you expectantly. Giving one vigorous nod, an action that appears to signify, "Hurry up then!", you look back at the stone out of your mind with panic as you have no idea what Spiritomb is expecting you to do next when that now familiar voice passes through your mind once more. "Replace the stone on the pedestal then use an attack of the corresponding type..."

Sapphire Lake

Eon: With the nurse explaining Piplup will need someone to care for it, you look down at the little penguin who is staring back at you with an expression of hope in its little eyes. While not a Pokémon you'd initially considered for a teammate, this little blue penguin has grown on you and it only takes a second for you to smile, agreeing to care for it. Piplup seems pleased and released a happy little squawk while you hold it securely in your arms. The nurse then hands you a small package full of fresh bandages, ointments and medicine for Piplup until it has recovered before walking outside to collect the unconscious Glameow and tend to it. With a new little Lv.2 male Piplup in your care, it is now time to decide what to do, particularly with the Excelsian sky now completely covered by the swirling multicoloured clouds...

The swirling clouds are now a deep shade of magenta, the air is shimmering with a mysterious energy unknown to mankind, and more than three parts of the land is now affected by this strange, yet beautiful atmospheric event...

John's Knight: With Croagunk now out of the way you feel it's time for a little change of scenery and head to Sapphire Lake. The deep blue water of the inland waterhole is breathtaking but even as you're entering the area, other trainers are leaving. Several Excelsian natives are gathered around the lake with their families seemingly unconcerned with the beautiful effects happening in the sky above, but what catches your immediate attention is a little Turtwig wandering slowly toward the lake to take a drink...
[OOC: sorry about not replying, was hoping that Sppf would stop lagging for at least one minute so I could see Hades' moveset. But since that's asking sppf too much <<;]

John looked around curiously; while he was entering the Sapphire Lake, other trainers were leaving. The colors in the sky seemed to change every now and then, the colors being now a deep shade of magenta. "Beautiful!" he thought, looking up at the sky. "Don't you think so, Hades?" he asked, the Cranidos nodding nervously. Looks like he was afraid of the mysterious energy that was spreading around the island. "Don't worry, we won't be here for a while. Just wanted to see the views!"

However, something far more interesting than the views caught his eyes: a small Turtwig walking towards the lake. Still, it looked peaceful, and it didn't even harm or threaten the trainer. It wouldn't be fair to attack from nowhere. "Hades, I'm gonna ask the Turtwig if it wants to battle. Then, if it accepts, I want you to use Flamethrower, followed by a Headbutt. Then another Flamethrower."

Walking towards the pokemon, John kneeled himself so he could look it straight in the eyes. "Hiya buddy, I was wondering if you would like to battle me?" he asked.

Joshua watches as his Pokemon escape the first round of battle without injury, but he immediately is filled with concern as one of the Draipon goes after Roxas, resisting the urge to lunge at the large scorpion himself, he calls to his Pokemon. "Arren, Aerial Ace, NOW! Zip over and strike down the Draipon heading for Roxas! Don't let it near the nest! Sky Attack and Aerial Ace to keep it away from the nest!"

Turning to his fiery hound, Joshua smiles. "You're doing great Kenzie, now keep him busy. Fire Spin again, keep it burning to keep the Draipon trapped. Use Beat Up to keep up the pain, and one more Fire Spin to keep it busy!"

Turning to the nest, Joshua calls to Roxas. "You're doing well Roxas, but don't antagonise the Draipon too much. Only use Dragon Pulse and Water Pulse to defend yourself and the Turtwig if necessary. Be prepared to fire at the Draipon if it heads your way!" His hand fiddles at a Pokeball on his belt, ready to call Tessie out if the Draipon came after him.

Oh no, this is NOT good... Zak thought, thinking of something to do as quick as he could, finally, he decided he was just gonna have to try and knock the Ariados away from the suspended Chatot, who seemed to be petrified by the situation it was in.

"Kerry, I don't even know if this strategy will work but...use a Growth attack and use Double Edge on that Ariados, by no means can we let it devour that pokémon!" Zak shouted, "Watch for the poison, mind you, you might be a poisonous pokémon yourself, but it's unsafe nontheless!"

Zak looked on as the Ariados clicked at them, the Chatot wriggled around in the web, getting more and more stuck, it seemed and the Venusaur begin to seemingly glow as it iniated it's first attack.

I know I can't capture this Chatot but atleast I can save it's life, it will owe me one, we might even meet up again someday... Zak pondered, though, the Chatot was far from unstuck.

As soon as Eon agreed to continue taking care of Piplup, he jumps into his arms, squealing with delight. As the nurse gives Eon a package with bandages, ointments, and medicine, Dawn looks up at Piplup, telepathically greeting the newest Pokemon on his team. Eon turned to the nurse, informing her about the Glameow outside, and how it was starved and unconcious. Suddenly remembering the cause of his desperation beforehand, Eon ran outside, Dawn at his heels and Piplup in his arms, and, sure enough, the sky was shimmering even more and shifting colors rapidly. Worry beginning to creep into his mind once again, Eon decided that it may be time to leave Excelsior. Eon turned toward the dock where the Arctic Breeze was, Dawn slinking around his legs, happy that he would soon be able to show Piplup the lands beyond this strange, magical place called Excelsior.

Tessie: Looking down the menacing eyes of all four opponents, you take a glance at Tempest, her pearly whites baring their all as her mouth smiles the most sadistic, yet happy smile anyone has seen ,the devil hound looking on at it’s two opponents with menace, anger, hunger and regret, regret that once she’s finished them all off he won’t have anyone else to hurt, grinning along beside her you stand up in the grass, the strong bold look you give the Galactic members showing no sign of fear as you point to them, ordering Tempest to attack she doesn’t even nod, she just slowly walks through the grass, teeth a blazing as she howls the loudest howl you’ve heard that echoes throughout out the woods. As the battle begins Tempest springs forth in front of her opponents, the Mightheyna springs forth too, it’s paws rearing up as she gives Tempest a big Sucker Punch in the face, the hit getting shook off of the puppies face as she grabs onto Mightheyna’s paw in her mouth, biting down as hard as she can before flinging it into Wheezing, the Gaseous Pokemon letting out a Sludge Bomb that Tempest easily avoids, looking on she Glows a dark black, dashing in between the two Pokemon she grins wickedly, a Black Smokey Smog emitting from her mouth, filling the area up as the next thing you see is Tempest at your side, both of you grinning you watch as the bones on her back flare up, her mouth, teeth and tounge dripping with the hottest of flames that burn the ground below her as she unleashes the high intense Blast Burn, shielding your eyes you hear the massive explosion amongst the trees, the heat making you a little uncomfortable as you bring your eyes back into the game, a charred black opening in front of your eyes as you notice the Mightheyna and Wheezing on the ground, the two men looking a gasp as the charred land that now resides burns the ground, little fires amongst the trees not doing much but looking quiet lively, as you scan the area Tempest pats heavily, the intense Blast Burn taking quiet a bit out of her but not making her give up, as you watch on the Mightheyna and Wheezing also a little took back from the intense power they’ve just collided with Howl and smog out as Mightheyna clamps down on Houndoom, it’s teeth slicing Houndoom’s flesh causing Tempest to squint and scream in pain as the Wheezing tackles down onto her causing her to reel back into one of the trees, all three Pokemon now panting heavily.

Looking on worriedly you search you pack quickly, hoping to find a potion or anything to heal tempest with, the two Pokemon snarling at you and Houndoom, the look in the Galactic members angrily staring you out as you franticly search you suddenly hear a loud Coo in the skies, looking up you see a sudden bright shine in the air, the look of an angel descending down as a frosty glow emits around it when suddenly a Ice Beam slams down onto Mightheyna the Hyena frosting over like a statue, it’s snarl staying quiet still as you look up again, this time the figure looking clearer as Faith emerges from the light sighing a very, very happy sigh you look on as Tempest leaps in front of you as Wheezing gets close, her mouth emitting the strong smell of fire as she lets loose a Flamethrower causing the Wheezing to capsize on the ground looking pretty knocked out, the two Galactic members look on pretty freaked out as they don’t know what to do, when suddenly Tempest snarls at them a howl so loud coming from her that mkes the two members run offl ike scared litlte girls screaming all the way to the beaches, Tessie what will you do? (Level for Tempest)

Both Pokémon are looking worn out now, both tired and both very sore, but Starly is determined to show just how Brave a Bird it is, putting every ounce of remaining energy it has into one powerful attack and slamming heavily into Nookie whose beak pecks hard into Starly's wing as the attack collides. Time seems to slow down for a moment while both Pokémon meet before they both begin to fall, completely drained after a quick, yet powerful battle. Hitting the ground with a sickening thud, you take a step closer to the rumpled feathery heaps laying motionless in the dirt only to find Nookie twitching before hopping up and looking down at the KOed Starly with an expression of relief in his eyes. It appears he's won this battle after all, though it was a very close call. It appears he's won this battle after all, though it was a very close call. (With Nookie already being Lv.100 a level is for his win is pretty useless *tosses you a candy in lieu of the level*)
[Pokémon don't grow past Lv. 100, do they? I mean, they don't get any better, but would it make any difference if I added a level? Just wondering, I want them to stay at even levels.] *Edit: Oh, thanks.*

Feera moved towards the spot where to two birds had git the ground, looking slightly anxious. He saw Nookie moving slightly, and sighed in relief when the owl got to it's feet. But when he turned to the little Starly he felt bad all of a sudden, forcing it to battle, and ÃÂ*n the end, hurting it. He relieved himself of his backpack, and took out a bowl made out of steel, and Nookie looked at him, realising what his trainer was doing. He looked on with knowing eyes as Feera poured the bowl with some Fresh Water, and put it down next to the exhausted Nookie.

The owl put its beak into the water and started drinking hungrily. Feera simply looked at the Starly, but as the water reached the halfway point to the bottom, he snatched it from Nookie and instead put it next to the Starly, hoping that it would accept the gift when it regained consciousness. He wanted to get on good terms with the little bird, because after it had showed its skills, he really wanted the fierce battler on his team.

"So, uh... Starly? Can you hear me? Here's some Fresh Water if you want it, it'll give you back your energy and it tastes good, too." Wondering for a moment what else there was to say, if there was anything, he decided to move right to the question he really wanted to ask. "That was a really good fight you put up there, you were really brave," he said, thinking that praising it might help it avoid getting in a bad mood after losing. "If you'd know the things Nookie here has been through, you erally would understand what you just did. You even outperformed him more than once," - hearing these words, Nookie gave Feera a stern look, "...And I would be really happy if you would join my team, I'm sure Nookie wouldn't mind either."

He clutched an empty Pokéball in his hand, knowing full well that Starly might have his reason for not wanting to join the team, but at the same time tried not to think about them.

Re: Excelsior

My tenth update! :D
~Rainforest~
thed3: Both you and Kilauea showing disinterest in the Chatot, you continue on past it, turning as the creek takes a bend. The ground starts to slope downward slightly, and as you negotiate the gradual incline, the creek gets wider, deeper, and faster-flowing. Flashes of colorful scales from the stream's fauna replace the colored stones from before; it seems you're coming to another part of this vast jungle.

It's getting very loud now; looking above, you see lots of movement and color in the trees, and realize you've come across a colony of Chatot. They create quite a cacophony, making for perhaps the least peaceful part of the forest. However, after standing there a moment, you find many of them imitating similar cries.

"Habu, habunaaaake! Habu, habunaaaake!" one cries out, imitating a Seviper.

"Yorrru, yorrru." Another does a passable imitation of a Noctowl's hooting. "Yorrru, yorru."

Many other Chatot share the same two cries, replying to each either with it.

"Habunaaake!"

"Yorru!"

"Habunaaake!

"YORRRUU!"

The last cry is much louder, much deeper, and immediately shuts all the Chatot up. Your ears ring in the silence, until you hear something sibilant. Slithering through the undergrowth, some way down the hill and several yards away, is an actual Seviper, holding its scaly head up with great self-importance. A Noctowl, the one that made the fearful hoot, flies in above it, perching itself on a lower branch. Seviper casts its leering gaze slowly around, and the leaves in the trees quiver with the Chatot's fearful trembling.

After a hushed moment, the Seviper opens its fearsomely fanged mouth, and hisses, "Haahhhh!" before lunging toward the nearest tree and winding itself up the trunk with lightning speed. The Chatot squawk and screech unintelligibly as the area bursts into noise again, this time full of the fright of birds and the sinister joy of a snake doing a little more than getting a simple meal.

As this chaos starts, the Noctowl has been waiting, surveying the place. it stares in your direction, across the distance, and its eyes seem to flash--it has spotted you.

What are you going to do now?

~Sapphire Lake~ ((A generator, eh? Cool, thanks :D))
Jerichi: Will tilts his red paws back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, until they point straight upward and glow, utilizing the Metronome technique; less than a second after, white telekinetic claws extend from his right paw, dealing the Buizel a powerful Slash. Buizel snarls from the pain, finally getting back to its feet. The Azurill siblings fall silent, watching the fight with wide eyes and twitching ears, the air thickening with tension.

The Plusle follows up his offensive attack by pressing his paws together and closing his eyes briefly in a praying gesture, initiating Wish. A sparkle like a falling star shines over him, and he opens his eyes again, just in time to see Buizel turn to one side and flick its tail in the air once very quickly, sending off a Sonicboom in Will's direction, who immediately gets down on all fours and darts around it in a speedy Quick Attack. It zigs to dodge it, and zags back toward the Buizel, hitting it for some more damage.

The Buizel sways, falling forward onto its front paws. Still in the clutches of paralysis, it struggles to rise, then slumps over, knocked out. Level up for Will!

The two Azurill squeal in alarm and bounce over to Buizel, who comes to its senses after a moment. Buizel shakes its head to clear some of the fuzziness, speaks to its friends to reassure them that it'll be all right, then looks up at you.

"Bui bui," it says with a little smile of resignation.

What will you do?

Golden Mew: The squirrel gives a confused "Chipah?" at your request about Mirage Island, then looks away suddenly and sniffs the air as an odd scent catches his attention. You look toward where his nose is pointing, and see something approaching in the distance.

"...back, Dolores..." Classicle's ears perk up; you can hear a voice, too. "Come back, Dolores! Come back!"

As they rapidly charge closer, you can see a Gloom booking it several feet in front of a skinny young boy. He's running hard, but has both hands over his mouth and nose, while the Gloom seems to be streaming something behind it. It also looks extremely unhappy.

Classicle abruptly chokes and falls to the ground, burying his nose in the grass to get away from the... the smell! Oh God, it's like nothing you've ever experienced; it stings your eyes and clings to the air around you, and the Gloom is still only about twenty feet away. Through watering eyes, you see the boy fall over, apparently out of breath from running or from having to resist that rancid stench for an extended period of time.

The Gloom is crying out and blindly running straight toward you. The smell just gets more gut-churning as it approaches. What will you do? (besides maybe suppress your gag reflex)

Yami Ron: ((Thanks for apologizing. A simple link to your registration post in your signature should suffice in the future.))
After healing Eira's wounds with the Super Potion, you toss a Pokeball at the KOed Glameow and capture it. It shakes vigorously at first, then just wiggles, then lies still. You got a L.5 female Glameow!

Afterwards, you decide to see what else Sapphire Lake has to offer. After traveling further down the shoreline, you spot a girl in jogging attire, maybe about thirteen or so years of age, dancing with a few other Pokemon. A portable cassette player pumps out cheery music as she and her little friends, hop, clap, and otherwise move to the beat.

"One, two, three, four!" the girl happily instructs the Pokemon, keeping with the beat. "To the left, to the right, jump and do a lil' spin!

The three Pokemon in front of her do as she instructs, or at least try to: a chubby Ivysaur moves herself back and forth, nervous about this whole jumping-and-spinning thing, while the Teddiursa beside her attempts with great gusto, ending up flat on his butt. The third dancer, a Buneary, prances delicately beside them, does a little backflip, and spins in place, bowing into a curtsy with its fluff.

The girl laughs. "Nice one, Buneary! But I think you're making Kylie and Kuma feel a little shown-up." Kuma, the bubbly Teddiursa, just giggles like he's having a good time, and Kylie looks down and rubs the ground shyly with one foot.

This looks like it could be an interesting scene. What will you do?

~Bethla Meadows~
Dream Breaker: Circe obediently watches the beaten Carnivine, who might think twice about devouring pink, fuzzy kittens after this incident. The Skitty's breathing is rapid and shallow when you get to it, but after spraying the Potion on it, it calms down and starts to look a little better. It's more awake now, watching and listening silently as you speak to it and tend to its wounds. Skitty's slanted eyes raise up a little when you pull out the Pokeball and lower it towards its head, but it makes no move to get up and run away as you tap the capture device open on it, sucking the kitten inside. The Skitty wriggles around in the ball briefly, then quiets down, showing acceptance. You got a L.3 female Skitty!

Now with a new member on your team, you leave Bethla Meadows, heading for the Pokemon Center, as the changes the land undergoes become gradually more disturbing. You soon come across a beaten path serving as the main thoroughfare for travelers in this area, and by going with the flow, more or less, you soon reach a Pokemon Center. From the apprehensive buzz of chatter around you, other trainers seem worried or fascinated about the changes as well.

What will you do now?

Staring at the island, Zora contemplated the information he had just been given. "I wonder if trapping Swablu in a temporal flux would make it more sellable?" he wondered aloud. Tropius snorted in amusement.
{I'd like to go to a time when you're extinct.} Slowqueen retorted. Ignoring her, Zora continued.
"We'll, I've got my permantant reminder of my time here." he said, thinking of his new Cherubi, "So I need to leave my mark here." Reaching upwards, he grabbed one of Tropius' bead fruits, and staring back inland, tossed it as far as he could. "May this fruit grow into a strong tree, so that all may enjoy the glories it provides, and worship the almighty giver, ZoraJolteon." he announced, to noone in paticular. "I guess it's time our visit came to an end now." he said, turning back to face his Pokémon. Tapping his Great Ball on Slowqueen's head, she was recalled in a flash of blue light, as Zora then mounted up on Tropius once again. "Onwards, to new non-Excelsior-based adventures!" he ordered, as the beast set off away.

((Note: Blaziken doesn't know Sky Attack, but was ordered to use Sky Uppercut. Thanks for the updates, however.))
Rivka looked down at the little Bidoof, worry in the little rodent's eyes apparent as she stared it down. The sea slug group was swimming alongside it, seemingly drifting ahead as Rivka and Hokage battled against the Rampardos and its trainer in order to defend them; of course she didn't forget about the little injured Shellos, but she was so delayed with fending this guy off that it was losing valuable time, and although she had strong faith in the potion and fresh water she administered to it earlier, she needed to rush the little blue sea slug to the Pokemon Center immediately.

"You know what? Forget it. Hokage and I have better things to do than waste our time on a punk like you. Hokage, use Softboiled to regain your energy then go all-out with a Sky Uppercut and a Mega Kick. Stick around and beat it to a pulp while I take this injured little Shellos to the Pokemon Center." She then looked back to the Gastrodons, the memory of the tidal wave incident soon coming back to her. "Or even better..." A mischievous smile grew upon her face as she addressed the group of slugs. "Oh Gastrodons, as you can see, we have a slight inconvenience around and we need to get your little friend some medical help. Think you could lend us a hand in ridding of this interference?" Hokage knew what was up, and she egged it on; she didn't want to waste her time fighting against such a brat, and she knew that water did a great big deal of damage against the Rampardos's Rock type. Perfectly content with her trainer's decision, Hokage stepped aside, hoping to be out of range of any potential flooding, as her trainer tried to convince the Gastrodons to give the fossil pieces of their minds by wiping it out with their water attacks. If the pachycephalosaur still retaliated, Hokage was prepared to wrap things up on her own with her previous attack orders as well as what attacks she saw fit to use while Rivka rushed the sea slug to the Pokemon Center. Afterwards, Hokage planned to meet back up with Rivka at the center, and justice would prevail.

Such a plan appealed to Rivka that she continued trying to talk to the Gastrodons about making an easy escape to help the Shellos in need. Hokage backed the plan fully; the Blaziken knew that she could take care of herself while her trainer took care of business. There had to be a backup plan, however, if it was unsuccessful and Rivka wasn't able to take the Shellos to the center herself. This is where she released Mara the Linoone. "Bidoof, Mara," Rivka began, "if all else fails, take the little injured Shellos to the Pokemon Center yourselves and Hokage and I will wrap this up and meet you there. Our main priority is to seek medical attention for it and ensure its safety, but this kid is delaying us big time."

The swirling clouds are now a deep shade of magenta, the air is shimmering with a mysterious energy unknown to mankind, and more than three parts of the land is now affected by this strange, yet beautiful atmospheric event...

Arc: Looking in horror as the once destroyed sand person gradually shifts back into place where it stood, you think quick and hard on what to do, holding your belongings tight you hear the shout of one of them as one more runs towards you, ordering Kabuto to attack as quickly as possible a brightly coloured Aurora beam flashes into the air, the sand person silently freezing into place, as Gastly fires a night shade at it, the ice shattering into bits, holding out for a second you notice that it didn’t reform, holding onto your plan you see the leader point his sword forwards, the 3 more running towards you, ordering more attacks, kabuto lets loose a Bubblebeam that turns the sand folk into a mushy pile of mush, “Oh little girl you don’t know what mess you’ve got yourself into,†as the leader finishes his sentence the rest of the group join up beside him, the five of them morphing together as they transform into a sandy version of a Charizard, the sands flying up around him as they form, a loud Roar emitting as it fires a flamethrower at Gastly, the ghost Poke phasing away just in time, as the monster starts, you order attacks again, the Aurora Beam from Kabuto slicing off one of the wings as Gastly fires off a night shade, the Charizards mouth taking a hit, but the flames still come as Gastly gets hit hard, floating back up Gastly lets out a Psywave, the beams ringing in the Charizard wear keeping it at bay for now, what shall you do?
Stacey waited with baited breath to see whether the sand people would make another move to attack them, her Kabuto and Gastly read should they decide to. A shift in the sands, one genderless sand-human rished forward hoping to cause some injury to the group. Wraith took this signal and fired off a beam of multicoloured energy that struck the sand form freezing it to the spot. Narcissa not wasting a second fires a black bolt of ghost energy smashing the statue to pieces and Stacey noticed with hope in her heart that it did not reform. The leader seemingly not bothered by the loss of one of his minions swiped his sword forward and 3 more sand people flew at the group. Wraith no the least bit intimidated know that he had the advantage now blasted them with a fast barrage of bubbles that caused them to halt in their tracks and collapse in on themselves in a sticky pile of wet sand.

“Oh little girl you don’t know what mess you’ve got yourself into,†the leader says before all his fellow sand men and woman surrounded him in a wierd group hug. their froms all blurred and mixed together before a new form was made. Stacey stared wide eyed at the new sand figure, a huge wild looking Charizard that roared loudly, the small particles of loose sand falling off its back and wings as it set off into the air. Rearing its head back it lets loose a barrage of flames that cover Narcissa whole. Stacey gasped before she felt her Gastly rematerialise not far from her left looking a little shocked but thankful she had missed that attack.

Wraith reamined unfazed by the developments which surprised his trainer. Powering up another attack he unleashed his icy aurora beam at the beast striking its wing oblitering the part it struck. Narcissa heading back into the fray striking the sandy dragon right in its mouth with another Nightshade, but not before it could unleash its flamethrower. Narcissa cried out in agony as the flames envolped her and licked at her gaseous form leaving her smoking all over and shaking from the pain. Shakily she fired off a set of Psywave rings that seemed to meerly irritate the Charizard, keeping it at bay for the time being.

Stacey looked on with concern to her Gastly, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes, her scream of pain embedded in her mind. Her pokemon huddled closer to her keeping their gaze on their ever shifting opponant. This thing was far stronger than she had hoped and it definately wasn't going to let them leave peacefully, or alive. They would fight their way out, but Stacey would need her strongest for this battle.

"Wraith, Narcissa thank you both for defending us so honourably. Please rest now, I think we're a little out of our depth here and I don't want you to get hurt ... further," she added looking to her Gastly who despite still smarting from the heated fire attack seemed appalled by the suggestion that she could not take this thing. But she knew better than to challenge her mistress and so oblidged. Returning her pokemon to their pokeballs Stacey retrived two more from her belt, a worn looking pokeball and a pink Love Ball.

"I need you both," she said as she threw them into the air calling forth the pokemon inside. Two ghost pokemon emerged, an Impish little Sableye and a pretty Misdreavus stood before her. Hearing a roar behind them they turned to see the sand Charizard flying not far off looking menacingly in their direction. Impish gave his trainer a cheeky grin and asked her what kind of trouble she got herself into this time.

Stacey meerly shrugged, not in the mood for the explaination and simple said, "Trouble just loves me," Impish cackled and Missy kept her gaze on the threat above them.

"Cissa and Wraith fought valiantly now I need you to continue for them, hit that bloody sand monstrosity with everything you have, your strongest attacks. Missy unleash an Ice Beam followed by a Psybeam and give it your end with Hidden Power (Grass). Impish start off with your Hidden Power (Steel) followed by a Shadow Ball and finally give it what I know you've been dying to try out, your Hyper Beam."

Understanding their orders the Sableye and Misdreavus moved closer to their foe ready to unleash their might upon it.

Whoot, thanks for this, Rat.

Will quickly started the orders, moving his little red paws back and forth repeatedly, until they started to glow. Suddenly, he gave Buizel a surprising Slash, sending Buizel to his knees. The Azurill fell silent. Will began to execute his Wish right before Buizel set off a Sonicboom. However, Will was quick to react, dodging with a Quick Attack, and slamming into Buizel again. After swaying a little, Buizel falls over, KOed.

"Great job, Will!" Tetsu cheered.

"Raichu rai!" Luxord added.

The Buizel spoke to it's friends, looked up, and smiled slightly.

"Thanks for the battle, Buizel. Now, would you like to come with us?" Tetsu said, withdrawing the Moon Ball once again. Before he could throw it, however, Luxord snatched it away, muttered something, and tossed it at the KOed Buizel.

(Level for Tempest)
Watching Tempest move toward the two Galactic members, Tess can't help but feel slightly envious. She's in the mood for a bit of a brawl herself and feels quite confident in her abilities to take on these two thugs without any help from her Pokémon. Unfortunately battle ethics hinder this kind of behaviour and so she instead watches intently knowing full well Tempest will make them pay for what they did to Katie.

While the battle doesn't get off to a good start for Tempest with the Sucker Punch to the face, she soon makes up for it with her following attacks. Her use of Pursuit, Smog, Faint Attack and Blast Burn having the desired effect of weakening the two enemy Pokémon greatly as well as wiping the smug looks off the Galactic member's faces. The little fires as a result of the intense heat are a little concerning, but Tess had half expected this and is relying on Crystal to ensure they're taken care of. This will require some fast work on their part part though, as Tess does not want Crystal attacked under any circumstances which is why she is reluctant to release her just yet. While the Dragonair is perfectly capable of taking care of herself, Crystal is the only Pokémon Tess has available to quench the flames and she isn't about to risk Crystal's safety until these four are out of the way.

Distracted by the flames Tess doesn't notice Tempest being attacked until the Houndoom howls in agony, snapping her attention back to the battle. Witnessing Mightyena's fangs slicing through Tempest like a hot knife through butter, Tess feels as though her heart has leapt into her throat and has to restrain the urge of leaping onto the hyena and wrestling it off herself. Quickly rummaging through her pack for medicine while cursing under her breath, Tess is praying the injury isn't as bad as it looks when a familiar cry rings out from the sky above. Not even needing to look to know Faith is on the way, a feeling of relief washes through Tess, partly because she knows Katie is safe now and partly because Faith's Ice Beam has just frozen Mightyena solid.

Staring the Galactic members straight in the eye, Tess can't help but smile smugly. She'd already known she has the better Pokémon and now so do they because the moment Tempest KO's Weezing before snarling at the two men, they proceed to run away like frightened schoolgirls. Tempted to race right after them, Tess looks to the sky knowing she doesn't have time. Hopefully the two goons will just leave Excelsior and since they're heading for the beach that seems very likely so at least she knows Katie will be safe. Removing a Potion from her pack with one hand, and unclipping Crystal's Luxury Ball from her belt with the other, Tess releases Dragonair while administering the Potion to Tempest.

"Crystal?" Tess asks, deliberately keeping herself focused upon Tempest's wound while tending to it in order to avoid Crystal's eyes which she knows will be scanning the scene of the battle with disapproval. "Will you mind dousing those flames with a few short bursts of your Water Pulse? The last thing we need is to start a fire after all of todays excitement..."

With her voice trailing off, Tess risks glancing toward Crystal only to find an expression of concern rather than the disapproval she had been expecting. Silently berating herself for jumping to conclusions, Tess half smiles at the beautiful Dragonair who is first and foremost worried for her trainer and teammate. Nodding her agreement, Crystal does as instructed while Tess wraps a bandage around Tempest's wound to protect it from becoming infected before it heals.

"You did great today girl," Tess says affectionately, gently stroking Tempest's silky smooth coat. "But for now you're going to need to rest so you can heal properly." Removing Tempests Pokéball from her belt, a one of a kind custom made black ball with red flame design, Tess returns her tired friend for a well deserved rest. "Love ya" she whispers, before clipping the ball safely back into its familiar position by her side.

Rising to her feet, Tess turns her attention to Faith who is watching Crystal douse the last of the flames. "You're an absolute angel Faith," Tess comments, giving the golden Altaria a tight hug. "Your knack for being in the right place at the right time didn't end that day in the Crystal Forest, did it?"

While the two exchange a knowing look, the nostalgic moment is cut short when Crystal returns, her gaze turning to the Excelsian sky which is now a multicoloured whirlpool of swirling clouds. Nodding her agreement, Tess knows it's time to leave this land and although she'd love to stay on for a while she has the strangest sensation that won't be such a good idea. With thoughts of Katie in her mind, Tess hops nimbly onto Faith's back preparing to leave.

"Just one passover of the lake before we head off, please Faith?" Tess asks, before Altaria takes flight with Crystal floating alongside them.

Looking down into the sapphire blue water, Tess catches sight of Finneon who had been waiting by the side of the lake the entire time to watch while events unfolded. Waving goodbye to the little angelfish Tess hopes she'll see both it and Katie again one day, and while the three soar across the sky leaving Excelsior in the distance, Tess has the strangest feeling her wish just may come true...

Re: Excelsior

Arc: Looking on at the now one winged sand Charizard you quickly start to think things through, Gastly taking a bad hit just then you don’t really want to happen again, taking two Pokeballs you return Gastly and Kabuto to safety, taking a few seconds to grab the two Pokeballs you need you release them into the air, a Sableye and Misdrevus appearing into the heat. The Charizard roaring at the new playmates it has as Misdreavus looks on deadly at it as Sableye happy to get out looks at it happily to have a good time ordering your attacks Sableye and Msidrevus take off into the sands, the Charizard roaring loudly as it unleashes a Fire Spin capturing Misdrevus in it’s grasp as Sableye looks on quickly unleashing a Steel beam of Hidden Power, the beam slicing through Charizards gut, a now huge hole gaping across it as it takes no notice, a Flamethrower spurting towards Sableye who leaps over it his feet getting caught by the flames that cause him leap back in pain, looking on as Sableye winces in pain. Misdrevus still caught in the Fire spin lets lose a Hidden Power of her own, a green beam slicing the flames apart causing them to disappear as she gets her bearings together, the Hidden Power unfortunately missing it’s target as she gets a lock on the Charizard who suddenly gets hit with an Ice beam, it’s lower torso getting frozen solid as Sableye hits it with a Shadow ball, the ghost energy ball flying towards the Charizard making it’s frozen legs shattered as it now becomes a sitting duck not being able to regenerate it’s legs it starts to use one wing to whoosh itself around the sand causing a bit of sand storm, but nothing too big to worry about as it stop sable eye unleashes it’s own power in the form of a Hyper Beam, the look on Sableye’s face a cheeky grin as it holds it’s hands out a warm glowing light appearing in front of it’s hands as it focuses more and more power before unleashing the huge beam of light that races towards Charizard, the sands around the beam flying upwards as it reaches it’s target a deathly roar can be heard around the sands as it burns and slices through Charizards head. After a few seconds the light calms down and all you now see is a big pile of sand, in the remains of the sandy zard you see a lone sword, the exact of what the leader of the sand people had, gold with a blue tint around the handle and a silvery hot blade piercing the sands below it, looking up you look at the now flashing skies, what shall you do? (Level up for Misdreavus, and seeing as Sableye is 100, you can either have a Rare Candy in absence of the level, or give Misdreavus two levels instead.)

Raichu: Just going to link you to the Arcane Realm, just to give you a bit of information and links on how to go about replying properly, and could you please post a link to the potion.
Bypassing the fallen Buizel you pick up the little coin. Smiling as you hand it back to Stunky as Treecko walks by you, offering it to the Stunky and telling the little skunk that you deserve something for this it looks at you, it’s head cocked to the side as in to say WTF are you talking about, you just helped me, as you ask it to battle it muses over for a few seconds and then sighs, knowing it should have realized help comes at a price and reluctantly agrees to battle. What shall you do?

"All right, Eira, we caught Glameow! This Glameow will be heading to the Adoption Centre though where I know she'll have a nice home."

"Espeeeon!" (Hey Grandpa, look over there)

"Hmmm, indeed Eira. Overhearing the conversation it looks like that Kylie the Ivysaur isn't too confortable with the moves. Maybe we should help, hey Eira?"

"Peon peon." (Indeed, I think a new routine is in order.)

"Hmmm, you're right about that, though that Buneary seems to be a quick learner in any routine. Let's head on over towards that girl over there and provide some advice." (Eira and I walk on over)

"Excuse me, miss, what dance moves are you trying to give your Pokémon here? Are you practicing for a Pokémon Contest? It seems that two of your Pokémon are struggling a little bit. I think I have the dance solution though and I know that Ivysaur can do it since I know my granddaughter Eira here can. Have you heard of the Electric Slide?"

As Falcon and Classicle walked on, Classicle suddenly stood up in an alert position, and his pink, velvet nose lifted into the air, and twitched a little, like a rabbit's, as he sniffed. Falcon was confused suddenly, by this sudden gesture, but once she looked in the direction the nose was at, she saw what was going on. A young, thin boy was chasing a...

"Hmm... What's that, Classicle?"

As she finished the word 'that', she trailed off at the sentence, realising that a Gloom was approaching.
"Back, Dolores!" Falcon heard the breathless voice of the young boy.
"Oh my God..." Muttered Falcon, sucking in air, then wishing she hadn't. Classicle had already thrown himself off of Falcon's shoulder and had scampered away, shoving his nose into the dew-drop emerald grass. The stench... Oh, the stench. It hit Falcon's throat like a bullet, and she smelt it... through her mouth.

"AAAWWW!" Falcon gasped, falling to the grass on her knees, as her eyes began to sting and water, and probably would turn red any minute now, and she gagged and retched...

"Oh God, the smell..." Falcon whimpered, pulling her hair in front of her nose, and smelling the fresh, rose-shampoo smell instead. But no, the smell beat it's way through it and attacked her nose. It clung to the air, choking, murdering Falcon.
'And it's only 20 feet or so away... What's it like right next to it?! Oh, well, you know what they say... the smellier a Gloom is, the prettier the Bellosom is it evolves into. I wonder if it's a smelly Gloom, or one of the lighter smelly ones. Lord, what if it's one of the lighter-smelling ones?! Oh, look, the boy's fallen over. Is it from the stench, or exhaustion? Oh... NO! The Gloom's coming this way... blindly? Maybe I could catch it and give it back to him? How to get rid of the smell, though? I know!!!' Falcon thought all of this in a few seconds, as she collapsed to the ground and lay there, staring at the Gloom blindly coming her way, and the boy, who just a minute ago was covering him mouth and nose with his hands (but was now lying on the grass, panting and exhausted).

"Enterna, come on out..." Falcon said, weakly, touching the realease button lightly with one finger, whilst covering her mouth and nose with the other hand.

The Bayleef appeared in front of her, and instantly wrinkled up her nose and started cantering away.

"Enterna!" Hissed Falcon, rolling onto her other side, "Don't you dare leave me here alone. Come back now!"

Reluctantly, she turned back and started dragging her feet towards her master.

"Now, use sweet scent to get rid of the stench of this Gloom, and, since it's blind, and will be confused from the attack, we'll go and catch it and give it back to his owner, ok?" Falcon smiled at Enterna fakely, "And hopefully be put into it's Pokeball" She added, under her breath.

Falcon didn't even need to tell Enterna when, as the stench was so repulsive, that if the Gloom got any nearer, she swore she would die. As Enterna started the attack, Falcon looked down at her Pokebelt.

"You guys do not know how lucky you are..." Falcon told the balls. They hung there, dull, speckled with dust and dirt. Falcon turned around to Classicle, who was half-unconcious due to the stench, "Classicle, return!" Falcon shouted.

The Pachirisu gladly bounded into his pokeball.

"I wonder if the stench is so strong, it's even got into your Pokeballs... Probably not," Falcon spent a lot of time talking to herself. She even had arguments with her brain. She was doing this at the moment (talking to herself) whilst getting onto her feet and waiting for Enterna's attack to come into effect.

Re: Excelsior

Updates may be coming out faster so I can wrap up with some of you guys.

~Sapphire Lake~
Jerichi: Buizel just waits there as Luxord throws the Moon Ball, looking at you the whole time. The two Azurill watch in fascination as the ball opens and turns their friend into light, retracting that light inside. The Moon Ball lands on the grass and wiggles a bit, then stays still. Congratulations, you got a L.6 male Buizel!

As the ball sits there, the Azurill brother and sister look at it sadly. After a moment, they cuddle up to the ball, nuzzling it and squeaking their goodbyes, then step back for you to retrieve it. They look like they're going to miss Buizel, but they know he'll be okay, wherever he goes.

It seems Excelsior has undergone further change since you first arrived at Sapphire Lake. What would you like to do from here?

Golden Mew: ((The Gloom's not LITERALLY blind. :P You know the phrase, "blind with rage", which means that one is so taken by fury that it takes over their senses, and they lose sight of more important things... but not physically. XP))
You manage to get Enterna out, and order her to release a Sweet Scent. As she does, you can see it visible wafting in the Gloom's direction, and when it collides with the wave of stinkyness... it just makes it worse, like someone trying to cover up the smelly aftermath of a long time in the bathroom with an aerosol freshener. Now it's a mixture of gagging and cloying, and the Gloom, already traumatized for some reason, doesn't even seem to notice as.

You return Classicle to his ball, who seems very thankful for it, as the Gloom runs closer. You suddenly hear it cry out as it trips and falls on its face. Instead of getting up, it lies there and makes pitiful sounds, the stench slowly dissipating.

"Dolores!" The boy has recovered himself, and runs over to the Gloom. "Dolores, are you okay? Did that really scare you? I'm sorry..." He kneels by the Gloom and rubs her back, and the Gloom slowly gets up, sobbing a little.

"Kusa... i..." Dolores wipes at her tears.

The boy stands up, finally noticing you, looking shocked and guilty at the same time. "Oh! D-Did the smell hit you? I guess it did... I'm really sorry..." He looks down, rubbing the back of his buzz-cut head with one hand. "My mom was showing Dolores elemental stones, and they made her freak out for some reason."

The Gloom waddles over to the kid and clings to his leg. This skinny lad sure looks troubled; what will you do?

Yami Ron: "Oh, hi there!" The girl turns to you and smiles. "We're just doing this for fun and exercise. I used to do this a lot at home, and I thought it'd be neat to get my Pokemon into it. Especially Kylie, she's put on some weight."

"Fushi..." says the female Ivysaur, shaking her flower bud a little.

Buneary starts hopping up and down, eager for the next routine to start.

"All right, all right, just a moment," the girl says to Buneary, before facing you again. "Oh by the way, my name's Maurine, and these are my two Pokemon, Kylie and Kuma." She gestures to each of them, and Kuma waves his paws cheerfully at you. "This Buneary decided to come dance with us; I don't think it belongs to anybody.

"If you'd like to dance, feel free to join us," she says, stepping aside to make some room invitingly. "It sounds like you already know a move... what did you call it? The Electric Slide? Can you show us?"

Oh. Right. Yeah, I knew that. >>

"Oh, that's ok!" Falcon told him brightly, laughing her tinkly laugh lightly, "I didn't mind the stink, honestly. So, anyway, what are Elemental Stones, and why did Dolores - I presume that's the name of your Gloom - freak out about them? Maybe my team can help you figure that out, if you don't know why?"
Falcon indicated Enterna, then pressed the release button on Classicle's pokeball.
"Classicle, you can come out now!"
The Pachirisu gingerly came out of his little home and the instant he saw Dolores, ran up to comfort it.
"Don't worry, Classicle is very good at that kind of job," Falcon said, as she watched Classicle hug the Gloom and wipe away it's tears.
"So, anyway, you look troubled..." Falcon told him, as she finally noticed the expression on his face, "Is there anything I can help you with? Like I said, I can help you solve the problem of Gloom's freaking if you want. That is, if you tell me what these stone thingies are."

As the ball sucked in their friend, the Azurill watched in amazement. Plopping lightly on the grass, it wiggles slightly, then stops, signifying the capture was successful. Tetsu bends down and picks up the ball, casting a quick glare towards Luxord, who responded with a blank face. "Come on out and say your goodbyes, Buizel. It looks like something's brewing." Tetsu said, opening the ball and staring to the brilliant show happening overhead. The newly captured Buizel came out of it's ball, with a somewhat sad look on it's face.

"After this, we should head back to Neptune Cove and hitch a ride out of here, wouldn't you say?" Tetsu suggested. Tettsu took a quick look at the sad Buizel he had just captured. "Hey, Buizel. Why don't you ask your friends if they want to come with us? Maybe they can move a little closer inland so we can see them on occasion. And, anyways, I'm not too sure how long we'll be able to stay around here."

(My first capture after about 2 years here )

Zach carefully watched with baited breath as the Pokeball touched the Skitty's head, and much to his excitement, it calmly accepted his offer. Face all smiles, he reached towards the ball to release the kitten, only to remember that she was far too injured to walk along side him right now. Proper introductions would have to wait until later. Recalling Circe into her ball as well, he turned to look back at the Bethla Meadows and the fallen Carnivine before turning towards the path. The Excelsian landscape is rapidly changing, the skies are still doing their weird decomposition, and suddenly, reaching to the Skitty's Pokeball and raising to his lips he says, "Serafina," properly naming his new companion, and dashes off, running towards the red roof he sees in the distance.

Upon his arrival, his fellow trainers look onto the beach and the sky with immense apprehension, but the few Excelsians in the midst smile, knowing perfectly well what is going on and mingle within the crowd going about their daily activities. Zach dashes through the Poke Center doors and walks briskly to the desk.

"Eh, hi, I need you to help me out with my - ," he reaches onto his belt and plucks off Circe's and Serafina's spheres, "Ekans and Skitty." He hands them over to the nurse and sits down on a nearby bench. He looks outside the windows and sees the deteriorating landmass of Excelsior continue to flash and sparkle and lays a hand on his Gyarados's ball. "When we're ready, you're going to carry us to the mainland," he mumbled to the Pokeball. He awaits nervously for the nurse so that he may leave before he's whisked away with Excelsior.

"Replace the stone on the pedestal then use an attack of the corresponding type..."
ooc: I'm really sorry Tess about being so late. SPPF was being such a dick, but it's better for now. Anyway, I'm not sure I understand the directions completely (I know, I'm dense), but I gave it my best go.

Learning the he had a companion, albeit one not so trustworthy, Grey gave a huge sigh of relief. The Dusknoir's orders seemed to coincide with Grey's intentions and he knew the course of action better. However, Grey's mind was not only concerd with the stone; he knew that there was still the child to rescue, not to mention the swirling votex of terror that the sky had become. Prioritizing his missions into seperate events, Grey returned his attention to the difficult task at hand. "...use an attack of the corresponding type..." Grey remembered abstractly. Not sure as to what the Dusknoir was intending, Grey could only imagine what the consequences could be. Still, he had to try. Pulling two other pokeballs from his belt, a Net Ball and a Fire Ball, Grey released his Mantine and Camerupt in a flurrly of light.

"Well, if the colors are types, then red has to be fire, blue must be water, and the silver color could either be steel or normal. I'm terrified of the disastrous repercussions of a falty move, but I have to try - for the sake of the boy. And afterwards, we still need to get outta here as the sky looks like it's falling. Talk about Chicken Little," Grey said with a sad smile. Then, he whispered his orders to Richter, K-Flex, and Coriolis:

"Ok guys, this is what I need. RIchter you're first with a Flamethrower aimed at the heart of the keystone. Then, step back and let K-Flex hover up and blast a quenching Water Pulse at the heated rock. Afterwards, Coriolis, use an Egg Bomb to bombard the stone with normal-energies. I know this might not work, but we ahve to give ti a go. Don't show fear, don't show anger, just listen and we'll make it out of here."

Finishing his continued whisper of instructions, Grey stepped back to allow Richter to hobble up and take his turn.

The big blue and pink slugs ignore what you say and starts on its way to the pokemon centre as the little pink Shellos stays behind while nodding at you signalling its trust on you now, prepared to help you with whatever possible. You then hear, “Rampardos, you cannot lose! Use a Take Down attack and then Screech it and finally Rock Smash it!†from the trainer as Blaziken then starts this time by eating the Softboiled egg regaining most of its energy and health back. Before another second passes the Rampardos starts charging at Blaziken furiously as Blaziken dodges the attack and then covers her ears as the Rampardos Screeches at the top of its voice as the slight feel that everything is trembling as the pokemon stops. Blaziken, now completely irritated with the Rampardos flies in front of it before Sky Uppercutting it sending it back, slightly shaky trying to keep its balance. Before another moment you see Blaziken’s white glowing foot kick Rampardos in the head knocking it down, KOed. Level up for Blaziken. As the battle ends you see the trainer hold out his pokeball as he recalls the Rampardos. “Fine, I’ll leave these pokemon alone. They were too weak anyway…†You then see him disappear into the woods as he escapes. The Bidoof and Shellos both look at you with a smile before realizing that the other Shellos still needs help as they both start hurrying into the forest with you behind them.

A few minutes pass into the forest and you begin to get worried but before long you recognize the building up ahead as both pokemon start to run ahead faster than before. As you get closer to the Pokémon Centre you then see the Gastrodons in the door of it with the nurse and her Blissey tending to the fallen Shellos. You then see them both rush into the emergency room as you get into the building. Almost half an hour passes that seemed longer than a year for the poor pokemon as the light goes off in the emergency room as you then see the nurse and Blissey come out with a slight frown on their faces before giving a smile. As the nurse approaches you and the pokemon and begins talking, “Well it was tough but we managed to stabilize the Shellos. It should be fine now that it’s resting and with two days or so of rest here it should regain all of its stregth back. It really took quite a beating and I’m wondering what happened but I think it would be better not to ask being afraid that my suspicions are right about what happened...†You then notice the Gastrodons relieved as they start to cry and the little pink Shellos too before they all look at you with immense gratitude in their eyes for helping them bring their young one here. You then suddenly see the little Bidoof run to you as it gives you a hug on the leg with a tear in its eye for a second before going over and hugging the Shellos and Gastrodon in happiness…What will you do now?

Re: Excelsior

Here's some more updates.

~Sapphire Lake~
Golden Mew: "Oh, I know why," the boy answers. "This isn't the first time it's happened." He glances down at the Gloom, who is a little surprised about getting hugs from strangers, but doesn't seem to mind it. "Mom was showing Dolores elemental stones, asking her which one she wanted to use to evolve: the Leaf Stone for Vileplume, or the Sun Stone for Bellossom. Last time, she couldn't decide and got upset... and when Mom tried it again today, the same thing happened." He stroked the budding flower petals on Dolores's head. "To be honest, I don't think Dolores wants to evolve at all, and I'm fine with that." He looks at you with a troubled expression. "Mom's really set on making her evolve, though, and I'm not sure how to tell her otherwise... maybe you could help me out?"

Jerichi: After Buizel comes out, he says a few parting words to his friends, and hugs them goodbye. The two Azurill are too young to leave their home, but Buizel tells them he'll see them again someday, somehow.

With that, you head off to Neptune Cove, intent on leaving this strange land. Where your next adventure will be, only time knows...

~Bethla Meadows~
Dream Breaker: The nurse nods and smiles, taking your two Pokemon for a quick healing. While you wait in the lobby, you notice that business at the Center is starting to wind down, as trainers and tourists alike get their Pokemon healed, return their maps, and say a few goodbyes.

The nurse soon returns with Circe and Serafina's balls, the Pokemon inside them fully rejuvenated. You take them and leave, release your Gyarados into the ocean, and riding him, take your leave of this mystical land.
