I say.......4 boxes, because you'll get the Shiny Wurmple...only to get a Shiny Beautifly instead.

Crap. Also thanks for the congrats guys! I've got big plans for that little guy... now I just need to claim and name him...

That sucks. I'm partial to Dustox myself, whether Shiny or otherwise. I mean, if I ever actually caught a Shiny Wurmple, I'd gladly take either evolution, but I'd still be hoping like hell for Dustox. It's why I've only ever hunted for that line by DexNav chaining Cascoon, despite the DexNav hell that is Petalburg Woods.

Dont even talk to me about chaining I had a chain of over 200 going on Route 103 for Wurnple and it was entirely fruitless and I'm suspecting it was edging in 250 when I gave up.

Today's Spinda Day, so get yours some gifts if you got one!
In other news, was leveling up a Heliolisk by soaring in Omega Ruby (on an entirely related note, O-Powers don't wear off while you're soaring, so I really got a lot of mileage out of a single use of Exp. Point Power level 3!), and I found a Shiny Wingull and a Shiny Murkrow within minutes of each other! Caught them both- Wingull went into a Quick Ball on the first turn, with a critical catch, no less, but Murkrow gave me grief. Eventually got it in a Repeat Ball. |

*pant pant* Monday chores... *pant pant* done... *pant pant* Missingno. Master... *pant pant* Monday Mimicry... *pant pant* Something Something I Don't Know... *falls down*
Pokémart/Candy Store: The usual. Daycare: Picked up Ariana, who grew to level 5, and Neville, who grew to level 19 and learned Camouflage, and dropped them all back off. Move Tutor: Picked up Gemini and Mustard, who learned Belch. Dropped off Helga to relearn Belly Drum. Training Center: Picked up Rowena, who learned Rock Climb, and Kyle, who learned Cut. Confirmed Marvolo's learning of Swift and Headbutt, and Kyle's learning of Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. Dropped off Ruby to learn Strength, and used the TMs I bought earlier to teach Kyle Focus Blast, Fire Blast, Dig, Flamethrower, Hidden Power (Grass), Protect, and Toxic. Salon: Picked up Jack and James with 3 HPs apiece, and dropped them both back off. (nicknames; Ariana=Trubbish; Neville=Skrelp; Gemini=Weezing; Mustard=Weezing's second head; Helga=Hariyama; Rowena=Nidoqueen; Kyle=Heatmor; Marvolo=Seviper; Ruby=Houndoom; Jack=Ditto; James=Vileplume) |

MMMMMMMMMMMSIDK!
* Candy - Incidentally, for the first time ever, I have 100 Candies in the bank. * Daycare - Combee continues her gaining levels. I substituted my Surskit for my Kricketot, when I ran into those problems with his levels. I only want to get my Surskit to Lvl.40, so he has all his available level up moves. * Training Center - Dropped my male Drifloon off to learn my TM Thunderbolt. I had originally planned to give that to someone else that I (a) don't have yet and (b) can learn the attack as a Crystal MT. * Move Tutor - I'm not sure how many MT moves I'm going to train my Zubat. While I'm looking, why the hell doesn't the Zubat line learn Nightmare?? * Salon - Scyther gets her last HP. Then Golett. * Casino - Getting so close to where I want to be coin-wise! I'm getting so excited! * Other - entered the Dream World. I'm not in any rush there, but making some Pokedollars is nice. Also entered the Summershine Cup. I was also of thinking of entering with my Teddiursa or Tauros. |

Kind of a fun idea to do this every couple of months or so- my Pokémon, sorted by generation, type, and gender.
Generation: Generation I: 18 (Weezing, Vileplume, Arbok, Venomoth, Victreebel, Ivysaur, Muk, Meowth, Weedle, Gengar, Beedrill, Blastoise, Slowbro (Shiny), Tentacruel, Nidoking, Venusaur, Nidoqueen, Ditto) Generation II:10 (Qwilfish, Crobat, Ariados, Umbreon, Houndoom, Ledian (Shadow), Feraligatr, Smeargle, Dunsparce, Magcargo) Generation III: 10 (Mightyena, Seviper, Dusclops*, Swalot, Banette, Dustox, Shuppet, Hariyama, Torkoal, Numel) Generation IV: 5 (Toxicroak, Drapion, Skuntank, Carnivine, Roserade) Generation V: 13 (Scolipede, Swoobat, Amoonguss, Basculin (Blue-Striped), Stunfisk, Timburr, Pawniard, Haxorus, Unfezant, Audino, Trubbish, Scraggy, Heatmor) Generation VI: 1 (Skrelp) *Will count for Generation IV total upon evolution into Dusknoir Type: Normal: 6 (Meowth, Unfezant, Audino, Smeargle, Dunsparce, Ditto) Grass: 7 (Vileplume, Victreebel, Ivysaur, Amoonguss, Carnivine, Venusaur, Roserade) Fire: 5 (Torkoal, Houndoom, Numel, Magcargo, Heatmor) Water: 7 (Qwilfish, Basculin (Blue-Striped), Blastoise, Slowbro (Shiny), Tentacruel, Feraligatr, Skrelp*) Electric: 1 (Stunfisk) Poison: 28 (Weezing, Vileplume, Arbok, Qwilfish, Crobat, Venomoth, Toxicroak, Victreebel, Seviper, Ivysaur, Scolipede, Swalot, Drapion, Muk, Skuntank, Ariados, Dustox, Weedle, Amoonguss, Gengar, Beedrill, Tentacruel, Nidoking, Venusaur, Trubbish, Roserade, Nidoqueen, Skrelp) Fighting: 4 (Toxicroak, Timburr, Hariyama, Scraggy) Ice: 0 Rock: 1 (Magcargo) Ground: 4 (Stunfisk, Nidoking, Numel, Nidoqueen) Flying: 4 (Crobat, Swoobat, Ledian (Shadow), Unfezant) Psychic: 2 (Swoobat, Slowbro (Shiny)) Bug: 6 (Venomoth, Scolipede, Ariados, Dustox, Weedle, Beedrill) Ghost: 4 (Dusclops, Banette, Shuppet, Gengar) Dragon: 1 (Haxorus) Steel: 1 (Pawniard) Dark: (Mightyena, Drapion, Skuntank, Umbreon, Pawniard, Houndoom, Scraggy) Fairy: 0 *Will count for Dragon total instead of Water total upon evolution into Dragalge Gender: Male: 30 (Weezing, Vileplume, Qwilfish, Mightyena, Toxicroak, Victreebel, Seviper, Dusclops, Scolipede, Swalot, Drapion, Meowth, Ariados, Dustox, Amoonguss, Stunfisk, Gengar, Beedrill, Carnivine, Ledian (Shadow), Slowbro (Shiny), Haxorus, Nidoking, Numel, Venusaur, Feraligatr, Magcargo, Scraggy, Skrelp, Heatmor) Female: 26 (Arbok, Crobat, Venomoth, Ivysaur, Banette, Swoobat, Muk, Skuntank, Weedle, Basculin (Blue-Striped), Shuppet, Timburr, Umbreon, Pawniard, Hariyama, Blastoise, Torkoal, Houndoom, Unfezant, Tentacruel, Audino, Smeargle, Dunsparce, Trubbish, Roserade, Nidoqueen) Genderless: 1 (Ditto) Other: Shiny: 1 (Slowbro) Shadow: 1 (Ledian) Recolored: 5 *Scolipede (involuntarily recolored dark grey with red eyes by Haunted Mirror; no plans to change back) *Weedle (tail stinger recolored black) *Amoonguss (Poké Ball markings recolored to resemble Ultra Ball) *Stunfisk (fins and exclamation mark recolored white) *Smeargle (tail paint recolored purple) Accessories bought: 2 *Swalot (owns a superhero outfit for when he fights crime as Captain Stomach) *Numel (owns a fedora) NOTES: Generation: Well, Generation I still wins out, not much of a surprise there- not coincidentally, Generation I introduced more Poison-types than all subsequent generations combined. And most of my Generation I Pokémon are Poison-types, too. Generation V comes in a close second, despite only introducing three new Poison-type lines- it's just introduced so much cool stuff, like Stunfisk, and Heatmor, and Scraggy, and Basculin... Anyway, Generations II and III are tied for third place at 10 each- it's not just the Poison-types, those generations have given us some seriously cool Pokémon. Type: Gee, I wonder which type won out! So, yeah, Poison wins out at 28, which I'm pretty sure shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anybody anymore. Grass and Water are tied second place with 7 each, but only one of the Grass-types isn't also a Poison-type, and three of the Water-types are Poison-types as well (and one of them won't be a Water-type anymore soon enough). Got 6 Normal-types, though. And 6 Bug-types, all of which are part Poison. Oh, and 5 Fire-types, makes sense to have a couple of those, considering my character's hometown. Gender: Ehh, kinda balanced. Male wins out in the end, 30 males as opposed to 26 females. And a genderless Ditto, of course. Other: Man, if I had the PC space, I might just take up Shiny hunting in FB like I do in the games. As it is, though, that's not the case, and I'm lucky I have the space for my Shiny Slowbro- my first ever Shiny in FB, and I always said I'd keep my first FB Shiny on that basis alone. No regrets. Oh, and I consider myself extremely lucky to have my Shadow Ledian as well- that one was a big, big, major want of mine ever since the Shadow Lottery back in 2012. |

Oh why not:
Generation: GenI: 7 (Magnemite, Ponyta, Bellsprout, Zubat, Kangaskhan, Meowth, Krabby) GenII: 3 (Pineco, Chinchou, Girafarig) GenIII: 6 (Slaking, Duskull, Absol, Wailord, Skitty, Lotad) GenVI: 3 (Gallade, Chatot, Gible) GenV: 2 (Purrloin, Axew) GenVI: 1 (Swirlix) Type: Bug: 1 (Pineco) Dark: 2 (Absol, Purrloin) Dragon: 2 (Gible, Axew) Electric: 2 (Magnemite, Chinchou) Fairy: 1 (Swirlix) Fighting: 1 (Gallade) Flying: 2 (Chatot, Zubat) Fire: 1 (Ponyta) Ghost: 1 (Faust) Grass: 2 (Bellsprout, Lotad) Ground: 1 (Gible) Normal: 6 (Slaking, Chatot, Kangaskhan, Skitty, Meowth, Girafarig) Poison: 2 (Bellsprout, Zubat) Psychic: 2 (Gallade, Girafarig) Steel: 1 (Magnemite) Water: 4 (Wailord, Lotad, Chinchou, Krabby) So a steady 1 or 2 for every type except for Normal and Water for which there are a lot in existence. Missing only Ice and Rock. Generation didn't surprise me much either with Kanto and Hoenn far in the lead.

Well, if 8 more people sign up, they're in, too. So this shouldn't stop anybody- in fact, quite the contrary- this should spur everyone who still wants in to sign up, in the hopes that they might add up to another 8 signups.

I'll wait for a while, my goal was to gather 16 players from the start - we have that number of active members in Monday Candy pickups at least.
