A few uneventful hours later you find yourself approaching a large body of sapphire coloured water. The surrounding area is a lush green, and there seem to be trainers everywhere proving this is a highly popular destination. While you scan the area, Starly swoops down, lands on your shoulder and begins nibbling your earlobe when a little blue and black Pokémon with a yellow star on the tip of it's tail catches your attention. It's drinking from the lake, completely unaware of your presence...
After several hours of uneventful walking, Stephen and Starly finally find themselves at their destination. Stephen's eyes scan the beautiful deep blue lake, seeing trainers seemingly everywhere, all of them having the same idea that he did, apparently. After a few moments of circling, Starly lands on Stephen's shoulder, and Stephen notices a Pokemon at the shore, drinking from the lake. Not having ever seen such a Pokemon before, Stephen watches it from a distance - it is blue and black, with a pointed yellow star at the tip of its tail.

Thinking for a moment, and remembering the Chatot, Stephen mutters to Starly, "Starly, you see that Pokemon over there? Fly over there, and try to make friends with it. Don't start a battle, though, if you can help it."

Starly nods, flapping his wings a few times before flying over toward the Pokemon.

Re: Excelsior

Torkoal Stu: As you take you palce your new tream mate in it’s postion on your belt you take a look around the meadows, the shimmering fields still looking like a new sight every time you look, thinking it’s best to stay ni the fields you start walking forward into the distance when you manage to look up and glance at something ni the skies, looking closer you see a Pidgeot swooping down with what seems to be a man on it’s back, dressed up like a old school fighter pilot, behind them looks to be a Fearow and a Swellow with people looking just the same as they swoop down and graze the fields you notice that a couple of Talliow are holding what seems to be a finishing line ribbon between them in the skies looks like you just walked into a flying race, as you watch the race you see that the Swellow manages to just skip 1st place, a little Girl on top shouting in approval of Swellow coming from behind to win, as they land they notice you and wave to come over, “How’d you like the race son?” the older one asks, as you, saying how cool it was they ask if you’d like to join in one more race before they head on back to their house, as the man finishes he lets a couple more Talliow into the air and they take their spots as the start and finish, what will you do?

Lilblue: Smiling at the brilliant efforts of Zigzagoon taking out the Buneary you give the little racoon a little rub on his belly, Zigzagoon giggling in approval as you rub away, taking your eyes to the downed Pokeball, you get up off of the floor and pick it up, the first capture on this island, not really being the most friendly of experiences but something you won’t forget for a while, as you stand there you tap the little ball as it materializes into thin air making it’s way to your PC where who knows what will happen to the little bunny, as you give a long stretch you think it’s best to move onto pastures new, taking Zigzagoon with you both head onto the Sapphire lake, as you enter the glimmering waters of lake shining brightly in the midday sun, as you enter you take a look around the sights of the Pokemon playing with each other, as you get closer to the lake you can’t help but have a sit down o the ground just looking into the depths of the lake wondering where it all goes to, as you and Zigzagoon laze in the sun you suddenly hear a rumble in the waters below, trying to get a closer look as the surface bubbles you stand back as a sudden explosion emits from the waters when you see a Wartortle and young girl bursting out of the lake, “Quick Torty, their gaining on us, just get us to the edge of the lake,” as you listen you notice the girl is being chased by two Croconaw who seem to be a tad mad, what shall you do?

Ushi: As the new round begins you raise a fist in the air, proclaiming the awesomeness of vaporeon who grins widely at you in approval, as soon as it turns it’s head back to Shinx though it’s met with a Tackles right into it’s tummy causing vaporeon to cough loudly as the wind is knocked out of it, as it regains it’s composure Vaporeon lunges towards Shinx who quickly leaps above Vaporeons head and dodges the Heabutt before Tackling it again as it lands knocking some damage to Vaporeon, rather Proud of itself Shinx lets out a little Growl as Vaporeon gets up from the hit, as it gets to it’s feet it starts jumping about rather weirdly, but looking up the Shinx sees that the Clouds above are getting rather dark, who knows what’s just happened, but Vaporeon seizes the opportunity and unleashes a Bubblebeam attack on Shinx hitting it for a bit of damage, what shall you do?

Arc: As the next round begins you laugh at the poor little Hippo whose just been knocked back with a pound who was suddenly woken up from his slumber, ordering your attacks Drowzee sees the Hipoppotas charging forward with a tackle but at the last second a bright white flash appears from Drowzee, the Hippo recoiling back in pain as it stumble about in the sand, taking the opportunity Drowzee rears it’s trunk back, inhaling heavily as it burst a Chocoalte Magic attack from it’s nose ,the Chocolate Milk blasting into Hippopotas who rears back through the sand the attack doing some very good damage to him, as it gets up the Hippo pants harder as the attacks take it’s toll, charging forward again Drowzee sees and unleashes a Hidden power that sends the Hippopotas recoiling back in pain again, the Rock type attack hitting for more damage, what hall you do?

Tessie: As Pachirisu drops down to he ground you suddenly realise that this has gone a bit too far, halting Inchy to stop he looks at you a little sadness in his face that he doesn’t get to finish Pachirsu off, but with a bit of sense of pride that he has shown off to you how strong he is for his level, puffing out his chest while striding towards you side he lets out a low “INCH” as he looks up at you for approval, as you bend down and pat him on the head ad ministering the Potion to heal him up you look on at the Pachirisu who is now breathing heavily, you kneel down beside it and put your hand on the back of it’s head, looking up at you Pachirisu lets out al little faint “Chiri?” as you spray the potion over it, after a few seconds the little squirrel is back to health again, looking over sternly at Inchy who puffs his chest out again, as you mention that the battle has taught Inchy a few lessons Pachirisu smiles up and you, a now happy “chiri, chiri” emitting from his mouth as he jumps onto you, brushing it’s tail in your ace and making you giggle as it hops back down, as you ask it if it wants to join you by the lake it nods to you in approvel but as you start off to the lake edge the little squirrel holds up a finger as a “just be one sec” gesture as it runs back into the bushes it appeared from, after a few seconds of rummaging a high pitched “PACHI” comes from the bushes and out comes Pachirisu, a couple of nuts in his hands and something else, a frame of some sort in it’s hands, as it nibbles on the acorns you look down and ask what the fram is in it’s hand, smiling a BIG smile Pachirisu holds up the frame for you to take it, doing so you take a look and on the front is a nice little picture of Pachirisu smiling, turning it around, you see on the other side an engraving of “Pach, pachi, risi, risi, chiri, chiri, chisu,” which I’m sure in Pokemon language is something very nice regarding friends and the best of, my Pokemon isn’t the best, smiling you pat the little squirrel on the head as you, Pachirisu and Inchy head on down to the lake, where you spot a cute little Fionne bobbing it’s head in and out of the water shooting spurts of water into the air and as it sees you three heading towards the lake it swims around in circles happy to have a little audience as it leaps out of the lake and spins around, what will you do?

Another Fan: As you hand over the Skitty to nurse Joy, you have a loo karound, trainers tending and playing with their Pokemon, wondering what you could do for the next hour or so you spot a few bookcases standing next to each other in the corner of the Pokecenter, taking a glance of the books stood next to one another you randomly pick up a book and glancing at the title you see the book is “The life and times of a Pokeidiot, the misadventures of a wandering Pokemon Trainer who manages to get himself into different kind of idiotic situations, including cat wrangling and Sunkern Breeding.” Plopping yourself down on a nearby chair you glance at the book again and then around the room, what shall you do?

Raichu: As you notice the Skunk Pokemon scratching at the sand, you move on over to help, hissing at you as you get closer you and Teecko stand back a bit, explaining that you’re here to help the Stunky calms down a little and explains that it’s been told to dig in here by some Pokemon to find lost treasure, finding the prospect too good to be true it agrees to your help as you treecko and Stunky have a little Dig, after a while Squeal of delight appears from stunky who flashes around a solid Gold Coin in his paw, shouting over it’s friend which looks to be a Buizel, the otter pokemon looks at you and then Stunky before snatching the coin and running off with it, as you look on you see the Skunk Pokemon running after the Buiezel, what will you do?

Shadow Shocker: As you size up your opponent, the pokedex telling you that not only is Burmy not that strong, it’s got a very limited Movepool, non the less you send out Duskull to battle, ordering your attacks The burmy looks at you weirdly, as Duskulls eyes glow a bright red, the ghost type leering down Burmy as the hands of Duskull start shinnig and crackling with Dark energy, the ghostie sending out a nasty Night Shade that when it gets close just Spreads out as the cheeky little Burmy set up a Protect that’s stopping the night shade from hitting it, what shall you do now?

OOC: If this zone is closed, pardon this. My search didn't turn up anything about it being closed. Additionally, I was away last week and had no access to a computer, so I'd like to be given a chance this before it goes *poof*

The moment Tetsu heard of these rare Pokemon appearing on Excelsior, he rushed to make his way there. However, the moment he found a ferry which would take him there, his luck turned sour. The ferries were packed with all kinds of people. Pokemon Hunters, Researchers, Enthusiasts, and even a few people which he swore he had seen before. After a long wait and claustrophobic ferry ride, Tetsu stepped onto the shore of the mysterious land. He nearly wanted to kiss the ground he stood on, before realizing how many dirty shoes had passed over said ground within the past week.

Maps were being passed out left and right by various people trying to make a quick buck or help the travelers shuffling about the dock. After a few minutes of searching, Tetsu managed to find a free, yet shoddy, map of the area. Quickly reviewing it, he decided he'd go off to the Sapphire Lake before the crowds worsened.

The foliage seems to be growing back nicely though, and there is wildlife everywhere which is always a good sign after such a devastating event. When flying lower to the ground, you notice a little sandy type thing walking along and consult your Pokédex to discover it is a Sandy Cloak Burmy...
"Cool, a Burmy" said Joe, as he surveyed yet another new, strange creature before him. Deciding just attacking the little thing straight away would be stupid, Joe returned Flygon to his Pokeball and wandered over to the Burmy. Making sure not to frighten it, Joe walked slowly, before finally coming to stop a couple of feet away.

"Hi there, my name's Joe," he said to it, before taking out another Pokeball. Dropping it on the floor, a small eletrical mouse-thingy appeared, stretching her legs. "Yeah, erm...sorry you haven't been out in a while Evie. Anyway, go over to the Burmy and introduce yourself. Hopefully it'll lead somewhere. And if not, hey, at least we'll get to battle again." Plusle nodded before bouncing over to where the Burmy stood, and began talking super-fast in Pokelanguage, while Joe waited, to see what would come of this.

"Drat. I was hoping it wouldn't do that," mutters Shadow as he clicks his fingers in slight annoyance. Still, with Grim not yet knowing Disable, his situation was far from optimal -- not that finding a Burmy was optimal to begin with, but he still had options. Factoring in the technical data for Protect, Shadow knew that the defensive attack was not only rather demanding in energy, but also faltered easily after repeated usage...

"Grim, once that Protect goes down, Night Shade the little bugger!" he declares. "Wait for anymore Protects to go down, then Night Shade again at first opportunity!"

Well, after being slightly rested, as well as both amused and disturbed by the types of books they offer for light-reading at the pokecenter, Jeff sat back down for a second. He still really didn’t know what to do. He looked at Batteries, who looked back. The sound the machinery ticking inside the pile of scrap that magnemite consist of didn’t exactly becalm his nerves.

Jeff walked up to the nearest pokecenter helper, assuming there was one, and tried to ask as to where the nearest park was. He figured the city could have some neat sights to see.

Re: Excelsior

"Aqua, come on out!" Falcon stood at the edge of the sea, and threw a Pokeball into the air. A blinding flash, and a Totodile appeared, paddling in the sea gently.
"Totodile!" He said cheerily. Hi!
"Aqua, I need you to use Surf and take me to Excelsior. It's over the sea."
"Totodile! Toto! Totodi!" Sure, get on. It won't take long.
"Thanks, Aqua." Falcon smiled, and climbed on her Pokemon's back.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Falcon looked around at Sapphire Lake. The clear waters sparkled, and ripples were created by the gentle breeze. Trees were dotted around the lake, and the sunlight shone brightly onto the water, turning it a turqouise colour.
On her belt, a pokeball suddenly twitched and riggled, and out popped Goldfeather, Falcon's shiny pidgey. She took a perch on her owner's shoulder and looked around.
"Pidgey!" She chirped. Wow!
"I know, it's pretty, isn't it?" Falcon smiled dreamily at the view.
A second pokeball in Falcon's belt wobbled and out in a flash came Enterna, Falcon's Bayleef.
"Bay... leaf! Bayleef!" We're not here to gaze at the view, we're here to catch Pokemon!
"Yeah, you're right. I heard there were a bunch of new Pokemon around here, but what I'm mainly looking for, is Mirage Island. Let's go, guys!"

EDIT:
I'm really sorry about the above post.

Oh my goodness! You found a gold coin Stunky! Very lucky! *me and Treeko smile at the find*
Stunky hen a calls its friend, a Buizel to comes over to see what it found. The new pokemon comes by, looks at me, then its friend before grabbing the prized treasure and running after it.
What the heck......you thief! That belongs to Stunky! *I start running with Treeko*
What a friend that pokemon was! Probably just waiting to steal the coin from it's friend.
Go Treeko! Quick Attack to catch up, then Bullet Seed the Buiezel!

"That a way Spearow!" Stark shouted to his aerial partner, "Keep it up your doing great!"

'Caw!' came the reply from Spearow as the bird circled above waiting for his next commands. For all of the personality conflicts between Stark and Spearow, they seemed to always be on the same page when it came to battle often prompting Stark to wonder if maybe they were more alike than he would like to admit.

The battle had been going well so far. Spearow's speed and ability to fly giving him a distinct advantage over Buizel. However Stark knew that they would need to be careful. While Buizel may have been a bit of a bully, he was not exactly evil, or unskilled. The way he knocked the fish about with his water gun was proof enough of that. Regardless, Stark seemed to have a growing admiration for the sea otter's skills and attitude.

"He might make a good addition to the team... we don't have a water pokemon," Stark reflected quietly as he prepared to give Spearow his next commands, "Okay, Spearow! As before try to stay in the air so that you can dodge his shots of water easier. Your speed and agility are your greatest assets, so keep using them to the best of your ability. We are going to continue our all out attack strategy. When you are ready use Faint Attack to keep him off balance so that he can't figure out any pattern to our fighting style. Then follow it up with a Tri Attack. We'll see where we are after that. Now go get 'em!"

Re: Excelsior

Trainers and locals across Excelsior are enjoying their day when they notice a small ripple in the air. The Excelsians smile knowingly, not at all concerned by the event, while trainers are filled with a sudden sense of urgency. They feel something is on its way, but aren't exactly sure what that could be. Shrugging it off, they return to their adventures, continuing to explore this strange new land...

Neptune Beach

Alilatias: Knowing Buizel has no hope at all of defeating Sharpedo on its own, you quickly send Kairu out to help. Kairu's Agility helps him to reach Sharpedo in the same moment as Buizel, and both Pokémon attack the monstrous shark together, but from different angles. Kairu smacks into Sharpedo with Headbutt while Buizel uses a Quick Attack/Sonicboom Combo but due to Sharpedo's rough skin both Pokémon have sustained some grazes from Sharpedo's hard body. This doesn't stop Buizel from attacking again as the otter Pokémon is in a completely anguished frenzy, wanting its friend back. It releases a Swift attack aimed at Sharpedo's face and eyes in an attempt to blind it, but the agitated shark turns on Buizel, it's mouth seeming to release some steam as the frost forming in its mouth mixes with the warm air. Sharpedo's teeth appear to resemble icicles as it bites down hard on Buizel's arm, it's Ice Fang dealing heavy ice damage and stabbing a hole right through the otter Pokémon's limb. Buizel screams in agony while Sharpedo turns around and begins swimming lazily back out into the ocean. Nothing in the world overpowers friendship however, and Buizel isn't going to let Sharpedo get away that easily, diving beneath the water and swimming in tight, fast circles which begin to form a Whirpool. With Sharpedo's escape temporarily delayed, it's now or never if you ever want to see the cute little blue Shellos again...

Aspen Forest

Dark Duskull: Scooping Tyrande up in a tight congratulatory hug, you return her to her Pokéball before taking out a Leaf Ball and throwing it at the fainted Snover. A second later the capture light turns green indicating your successful capture of a Lv.4 male Snover...

Mt. Sierra

John's Knight: Croagunk takes advantage of Hades immobility and attacks again with Astonish. Unable to see very well, Hades feels where the attack has come from, turning and lunging forward to hit Croagunk with Headbutt. They repeat this exercise a few times, each taking damage little by little, and luckily Hades vision is returning, albeit rather slowly as everything is still quite blurry...

Dark Fire: Flanked by Mesmenir and Minerva, you approach the temple and squabbling monkeys with Chimchar holding onto your hand a little too tightly for comfort. You can feel it shaking and know it's terrified, the reason for its fear apparent when the fire monkeys notice his presence. Completely ignoring you and your Pokémon, two Monferno leap forward and grab Chimchar who squeals with fright as they drag it up to the crevice in the wall. A third takes the jar from you and holds it protectively, handing it to one of the Infernape. Since Chimchar isn't in any immediate danger that you can see you decide to hold your ground for the time being to see how things pan out. Some screeching and nattering ensues, and though you're not familiar with Pokémon language, the story begins to unfold. The jar Chimchar had in its presence is a special urn containing the ashes of the revered Infernape, Hephaestos, who had fought and won rights to this section of land many centuries before. Seen as a God in the eyes of the generations of Chimchar, Monferno and Infernape to follow as he was the founder of their colony, it is forbidden for one to touch the urn, let alone remove it from the temple. Chimchar had been playing outside of the temple when a stray Apricorn it had been juggling had flown off course, knocked the urn over and broken the bottom of it, spilling Hephaestos' ashes all over the ground. Scared, Chimchar had taken the urn and fled hoping to repair it and gather up Hephaestos' ashes before anyone had noticed it was missing. Unfortunately Chimchar's deception had been discovered before its return and is now in very serious trouble. The two Monferno who had dragged Chimchar away from you earlier, take Chimchar over to a nearby tree where one single vine is hanging. Standing Chimchar on top of a log, they tie the vine around his neck while the remaining fire Monkeys watch. Chimchar has tears in its eyes, but stands tall, its chest puffed out, showing great strength of character to have accepted its death sentence which is about to be carried out right before your eyes...

ForeverFlygon: Needing to make solid eye contact for his Hypnosis to work, Nookie knows that's out of the question considering Starly's current vision problems, and proceeds to use Foresight. Two red beams shoot out of his eyes, lighting up the sky and causing Starly's remaining clone to vanish giving Nookie just the chance he needs to charge in and Peck the little bird. Though Starly's vision is still quite blurry, it can still make out Nookie's shadow and Tackles him hard before Nookie flies upward to evade its next Tackle. Starly looks around, trying to find where Nookie has disappeared to when it is hit with Faint Attack. Blinking rapidly to try and clear its vision, Starly performs a kind of loop-the-loop, extending its wings while passing Nookie to strike him with Wing Attack...

Sylar: Burmy looks up at you, its little eyes lighting up with pleasure upon you introducing yourself. It seems even happier when Evie appears, and after a little conversation between the two Pokémon, the Sandy Cloaked Burmy nods in agreement. Apparently it's more than willing to engage in a friendly battle...

Lee-san: Instinctively reaching for your belt, you pluck off the Feather Ball attached to it. Releasing your Pidgeot Mekhet, you immediately leap onto her back. You've barely managed to grab a hold of her before she's in the air, narrowly escaping the first boulder careening down the mountainside which grazes her tail feathers as she ascends. Thanking your lucky stars for managing to escape the landslide just in the nick of time, you're suddenly startled when feeling Mekhet suddenly take a hit from an unknown source and is thrown hard to the side. Nearly falling off, you scrabble to grasp onto her feathers before you can freefall a good hundred metres to the ground. While only seconds later, though it seems like an eternity, Mekhet regains control and soars toward the ground as quickly as possible just in case another attack like that comes from out of nowhere and she ends up helpless to protect you from falling. Looking around for the source of the attack, you spy a Staraptor swooping down after you, an evil look in its eyes...

Rainforest

Wayne: Relieved that Skorupi has accepted your challenge without having caused any trouble first, you immediately convey your instructions to Sasan and the battle begins. Skorupi scuttles forward, spinning around when close enough to attack, while Sasan releases a bright Flash. Skorupi continues to spin, evading the full effect of the flash seeing as it is facing away from Sasan at the exact moment he'd released it, Skorupi's tail whacking him in the side of the head before it comes full circle and lands lightly on the ground in front of him. A little dazed, Sasan shakes his head to try shaking off the pain before firing a beam of energy toward the sky. The sun filtering through the treetops causes the area to become brighter, but that's all for the time being. While Sasan is sending his Sunny Day skyward, Skorupi lunges forward and Bites his front right leg which besides hurting like blazes, allows Sasan the opportunity to hit Skorupi with a point blank barrage of Bullet Seeds resulting in Skorupi whacking him with another Poison Sting to halt the attack...

Radical Edward: Entering the rainforest with Dyrim and Sigma, you walk along the faint trail in the grass for several uneventful minutes before you hear some rather loud rustling coming from the trees to your right. Stopping to see what emerges from the foliage, you can feel your stomach tighten into a terrified knot when the largest scorpion know to man, a Drapion if you're not mistaken, appears and stares at you with a vicious expression in its eyes...

Phantom Desert

Dae~Maker: Healing Coriolis with a Potion, you leave the KOed Carnivine behind before traveling deeper into the Phantom Desert. Night time is approaching, and with the darkening sky comes a steady drop in temperature causing several chills to run up your spine. By the time darkness falls, you're wondering if there really is a rotting shipwreck in the middle of the desert when you notice a light ahead. Stopping, you watch curiously as it approaches, wondering what it could be when it suddenly changes course. Instead of heading right toward you it's now about to pass you around fifty metres to the left. Though the light is dim, the moon is shining brightly enough for you to see the form of what appears to be an old pirate ship floating across the dunes...

Sapphire Lake

Sandaa: Aero zips beneath the surface of the water, swimming as fast as he can in a tight little circle and creating whirlpool which traps Buizel. With the otter Pokémon flailing helplessly inside of the swirling water, Aero blasts out a chilling wave of ice and snow, his Blizzard causing the water temperature to plummet. Having Buizel exactly where he wants it, Aero surges upward and tackles the orange otter who is send flying several metres across the water. Now free of its swirling watery prison, Buizel appears to become shrouded in dark energy before it attacks Aero with Pursuit, quickly followed with Sonicboom...

Jonouchi: Leaping into the water in an attempt to rid yourself of the horrid stench, it doesn't seem to be working too well. Meanwhile, Kaio slams Stunky with another Mud Shot for good damage. Stunky screeches loudly, Slashing Kaio across the chest before he retaliates with Body Slam, ramming Stunky rather hard. Stunky is looking quite weak now, but it's certainly still got enough fight in it to go at least one more round. While these two battle it out, Kain begins spinning, his Swords Dance causing his physical attack power and strength to soar. He then stands still, staring at the Rock Tomb Buneary is encased in, yawning widely seeing as there is nothing much he can do with it trapped inside when all of a sudden the rocks explode and fly in all directions, one of them hitting him directly in the side of the head. Staring back at Buneary who had used its Jump Kick to break free of its rocky prison, Kain then moves in to attack with Poison Fang but is a little too slow as Buneary evades him with its use of Quick Attack...

ZoraJolteon: The trainer eyes you with a completely arrogant look in his eyes, the smug smile on his face something you're looking forward to wiping right off. "Yeah," he responds, "Me and Garchomp had to teach that thing who's boss around here. She didn't take too kindly to coming home to her nest and finding him eating her babies so she attacked him. That really wasn't very nice. He never did get around to finishing his meal though." The trainer then holds up his arm and you see a tiny little Stunky, obviously a newborn as it has hardly any hair on its body, squirming and crying weakly as it hangs from his hand by its tail...

Eon: Gently scooping Piplup into your arms you watch while Dawn completely blinds Glameow with Flash. The Cat Pokémon hisses evilly, more than a little miffed with Dawn for daring to interfere with it catching its next meal. Blindly lashing out, Glameow manages to scratch Dawn across the cheek leaving faint red trails of blood behind, but Dawn isn't finished yet, retaliating with a devastating Cut to Glameow's belly. Glameow cries out in agony before using Faint Attack and inflicting some damage. Dawn, desperate to get Piplup some help, Body Slams Glameow, focusing the force of her attack into the cut on the cats belly causing Glameow to keel over, looking rather faint and close to passing out. Seeing your chance to escape, you take off in the direction of the nearest Pokémon Centre with Dawn hot on your heels, but just as you are about the enter to door, Dawn cries out in pain. You're not sure now, but Glameow has caught up with you and has Dawn pinned beneath it...

S_M: Deciding not to initiate a battle against the small Shinx, you instead send Starly over to befriend it. Upon Starly's approach, Shinx looks up, startled, and tenses as though ready to run until it realises Starly has no intention of causing any trouble. The two talk for a moment before they both turn and look at you. Shinx has a curious, yet friendly expression in its eyes, but just as it takes a hesitant step forward to approach you something comes careening out of the trees and slams into Shinx, knocking it into the lake. Starly flutters up into the air, startled but dry, while Shinx floundrs about in the water. It's trying desperately to get out of the lake, but is so panicked that it's going under instead...

Mirage Island

Waterlight: Overcome with excitement to have discovered the mysterious and extremely elusive Mirage Island, you thank Finneon for revealing it to you, giving it a minute to say its goodbyes to Atlantis before recalling him and releasing Lapras. Finneon seems a little saddened by the fact you're willing to leave so quickly, but its smile soon returns when you offer to allow it to accompany you to the island. It happily swims beside you and Lapras, staying close by the islands shore while you step onto solid ground. The first thing you notice while surveying the area is that it's A LOT larger than it appears from the outside. A large island with a towering mountain in the centre, its snow topped summit surrounded by a misty haze. At the base of the mountainside are grass and trees as far as the eye can see while several tiny ponds scatter the area. There don't appear to be any large water sources on the island so perhaps you'll be able to leave Lapras here to keep Finneon company while you explore. Mulling over this for a moment, you soon notice a small greenish type creature with rather large teeth walking in the distance. It looks to be a kind of Land Shark Pokémon, but whatever the case it's definitely something you've never seen before...

Bethla Meadows

Joshua: The girls eyes fall upon Shinx and she begins weeping harder, cuddling the tiny Pokémon tightly. Explaining that her father had lost his job and couldn't afford to allow her to keep Shinx, she had been secretly hiding it in her room until her father discovered the deception. He explained that he didn't really want to give up the little Pokémon, but that he really couldn't allow her to keep it and that Shinx, overhearing the conversation, had run away. The girl had since been searching for it, hoping it was ok and that she could perhaps find someone to care for it, but until now hadn't been able to find it. While looking at you through tear filled eyes, she can see that you'd make the perfect trainer to care for it, but upon witnessing you throw a Pokéball at Combee, her eyes cloud over with disappointment. Perhaps she is wrong, after all. With the capture light on your Pokéball turning green to signal the successful capture of a Lv.2 female Combee, the girl takes Shinx from your arms and begins walking back in the direction from which she had come. Michael then picks up the Pokéball before plodding back over to you and dropping it at your feet...

Muyo: Unphased by the slight glitch in plans caused by Combee's Sweet Scent, Atiro returns the favour and releases one of her own. It is now Combee's turn to succumb to the deliciously attractive odour giving Atiro just the chance she needs to spit a small seed onto the pesky bee which immediately begins sprouting vines that surround and entwine the little bee. Unable to use its wings, Combee drops to the ground allowing Atiro to charge in and tackle it. Her Leech Seed is steadily sucking the life out of Combee who is now rather weak, tightly bound and unable to retaliate...

Re: Excelsior

Jerichi, Golden Mew, you're both in my group now. :o

~Sapphire Lake~
Jerichi: ((It's open for the moment, dude. :o))
A lot of people are headed in the same direction as you, so you're not able to shake off the crowds until people start separating from the main throng, diverging to pathways leading to the different areas of Excelsior. Eventually regaining some breathing and personal space, the noise and crowding dies down to a more tolerable level as your destination comes into view.

As beautiful as its name, Sapphire Lake sparkles in the sunlight, as lilting birdsong and laughter from somewhere reaches your ears. There are a considerable amount of people here, but there's room enough for everybody--and their Pokemon--to play, battle, and relax on the shores. There are wild Pokemon about too, you notice, as two Azurill and a Buizel play just off the shore not far from where you're standing. They each seem about the same age, the slightly younger pair of little aqua mice splashing playfully, while the Buizel chuckles and flicks water back at the two with its split tail.

After a couple cute moments, one of the Azurill stops splashing and squeaks a few impudent syllables. The other Azurill squeaks back, seeming a bit rankled, and proceeds to chase her brother into a deeper part of the shallows. The two mice hang onto their tail-baubles to stay afloat, each kicking their tiny legs furiously; they seem to be racing.

However, the Buizel starts calling out to them, its cries becoming more and more urgent; the Azurill have stopped beyond the shallows, now too winded to kick their way back, and are starting to drift into even deeper water! Hanging on for dear life, they let out piercing cries as they realize they went the wrong way, the sister's squeals becoming desperate in pitch as the lake starts carrying her away from her brother.

You hardly notice the Buizel's in the water until his yellow-collared head pops above the surface again, leaving a smooth, V-shaped ripple as he swims for the two Azurill. It looks like he may reach the sister without much trouble, but at the rate the brother is drifting away, it's uncertain the Buizel will be able to reach its other friend in time.

The three Pokemon were playing on a part of the shore away from most of the main crowds; nobody else but you seems to have witnessed this dangerous little situation. What are you going to do?

Golden Mew: Soon after your arrival at the lakeside, there is an odd, subtle ripple in the air, which distracts you and your Pokemon momentarily. A raucous sound regains your attention as two birds quarrel in a tree nearby.

A Starly and a Taillow are fighting over a plump-looking berry, flapping and squawking beak-to-beak as they struggle over the prized tidbit. A Pachirisu emerges from the branches overhead, looking annoyed and rumpled as though just awoken from a nap, rudely screeches a few choice words and sends a jolt of blue electricity at the two. Startled, the birds separate, narrowly missing the bolt, and it hits the berry dead-on, blasting it straight toward you.

The berry bounces harmlessly off your forehead and lands at your feet, singed and slightly smoking. The Pachirisu returns to its nest, leaving its two ruffled neighbors behind. But they aren't stunned for long; getting over their surprise, they see the fruit right in front of you--as well as your Pidgey, a possible rival--and both the Taillow and the Starly come streaking out of the tree together to dive-bomb you and Goldfeather!

What will you do now?

Buneary immediately springs out of its defense stance, leaping high and pounding Taillow in the belly. A little winded, Taillow awaits her next set of instructions...
At this, Zak began to pace back and forth, regretting not purchasing any technical machines to teach his Taillow when the two of them were back at the mainland of Fizzytopia, he had no choice but to command the same moves, but he needed a new strategy.

"Alright, Taillow, I think we've just gotta nip this problem in the bud, meaning, those ears need taking out for your own sake, so..." Zak's voice changed dramatically from one filled with the fear that his TinySwallow pokémon would not manage the battle, to a voice filled to the brim with courage, "...Fly up as high as you possibly can, focusing your energy as you do so, once you have plenty of focus and leverage, swoop down and peck that darn rabbits ears as much as you possibly can!"

Zak looked on as the Taillow processed all the commands in her brain, though she was young, it did not take her too long to begin to initiate her attacks as Zak stood back, watching her begin to ascend in the sky above the glittering meadows, high above her trainer and foe, the tough Buneary.

Ricco feels a small sense in his body, so he looks up to find a slight ripple in the air. He has a bad feeling about this but decides to continue to watch the battle anyway, and things look like their about to end for one of the foes. Kain's not doing too well, though. Ricco had to think of something that would take out both of them, but first, Stunky would be the one to go down.

"Kaio, you almost have him!" Ricco said. "Use a Take Down to bring an end to that Stunky. If it doesn't go down, give the energy for one more Take Down."

Ricco looks over at Kain, who gets a smack from a rock piece. Kain is having a rough time with it.

"Kain, I know it's rough going, but try to hang on! Use a Sweet Scent to calm it down. Then go in with a Vicegrip, and sneak and strike with Astonish!"

Ricco just rests on the edge of the lakeside trying to remove the stench, no matter what it was doing. Ricco continues to curse, but Kaio wasn't too better either. As this was going on, Ricco continues to watch the fight, hoping for light to shine in this battle.

By the time darkness falls, you're wondering if there really is a rotting shipwreck in the middle of the desert when you notice a light ahead. ooc - This is the third time I’ve had to write this one response. I hate my stupid Internet. Sorry for the rant.

As the air grew colder with the receding of the sun, Grey began to regret his previous decision. He knew that deserts were prone to extreme temperature shifts during their daily cycles, and now, he was suffering the brunt of his forgetfulness. Looking back over his shoulder, Grey saw the Coriolis was doing perfectly fine, her body innately adapted to desert life. Skulking away in the darkness with Coriolis trailing only slightly behind, both Grey and his dragon stopped as a subtle breeze brought the sound of shifting sand to their attention. Turning their gaze to the night horizon, the two became aware of a pinpoint of fluttering light that grew larger with the passing of time. However, Grey was shocked out of his reverie to see the shape of a ghostly pirate ship solidify and take flight upon the dunes. Seeing it change course left of the pair, Grey saw his opportunity and sprang into action.

“Ok Coriolis, this is it. The potion seemed to work and you’ve had a rest period, but now we’ve got to act. Let me ride your back as we take flight after that vessel. I want you to zoom after it until we’re about 10 meters behind, then just tail it cautiously. I watch the sands in its wake for possible object, but you just concentrate on the ship. If it stops, let’s land and check out why.”

With his heart racing, Grey threw off the cold of the night and prepared to take chase after the ghostly ship of the pirates of the sand.

Tess smiles, pleased to see that Pachirisu would like to accompany her on her travels if only for the time being. When it climbs onto Tess's shoulder and rubs its bushy tail in her face, Tess can't help but giggle. "Why do you have to be so darned cute?" she thinks to herself, as the little squirrel leaps back down to the ground.

"I'll be glad for the company," Tess says to the Pachirisu, playfully ruffling the fur on its head. "But I think Inchy's had enough excitement for one day so he can take a little rest."

Inchy shoots Tess a warning look, the expression in his eyes clearly conveying he's not at all impressed about being dumped for a squirrel, and that if she recalls him to his Pokéball she's in very big trouble.

"There's no need to be like that," Tess admonishes. "You've had your taste of freedom, gotten the chance to explore a new land, and had the opportunity to win yourself a battle, so it's only fair Chinchou has a chance to play as well. Isn't that fair?"

Still a little sour, Inchy nods in understanding before obediently returning to the comfort of his Friend Ball. Tess sighs, wondering when the day will come that not every little issue will be a battle with him. She loves her little guy to death, but his rebelliousness can sometimes be a little tiring. He reminds her in some ways of two other Pokémon trainers, younger than her, but whom she loves with every drop of her heart. At one stage in her life her brother and sister were the only influence in her life that made her even want to get up in the mornings, but while she is happier these days, and all three are now out and about doing their own things, she knows they have grown and matured a lot and still thinks of them every single day. She knows Inchy will reach that point eventually, and only hopes she doesn't need to fight him constantly the way she did her siblings.

Clipping Inchy's Friend Ball to her belt, Tess returns her attention to Pachirisu who is walking along beside her while she heads toward the lake. A minute later though, Pachirisu stops dead in its tracks, holding its finger up in a "Wait one sec" fashion, before scurrying off into the bushes. Her brow creasing in confusion, Tess does as Pachirisu asks, waiting for it to return and hoping it doesn't take too long. A moment later the little white squirrel appears from the bushes, rushing up to her with something in its hands and with a huge smile hands Tess its picture. Dumbfounded, Tess can only stare at it for a moment before the gesture Pachirisu has made sinks in.

"Awwwww, you little CUTIE!" Tess squeals, reaching down to scoop Pachirisu up in a tight hug. "You remind me so much of someone else I once knew who loved to give her picture to friends as well so I thank you, I'll treasure it forever."

Tucking Pachirisu's picture safely into her pack, Tess ruffles the fur on its head again before walking closer to the lake. Spying some movement in the water, Tess takes a closer look and notices a little Finneon playing by itself. Upon seeing her approach, Finneon begins to show off, seemingly happy to have an audience to perform for.

"How adorable," Tess giggles, moving closer to the lake. "I wonder if Finneon would like someone to play with?"

Reaching for her belt Tess removes a Pokéball, slowly bending down to the water's surface so as to not allow any sudden movements to scare Finneon off. Triggering the release mechanism, a small blue Pokémon with two electric bulbs at the tip of its antennae materializes in the lake. Chinchou smiles happily, pleased as punch to be having her first interaction with her trainer while adventuring.

"I'm sorry I've kept you cooped up for so long Fleur," Tess apologises. "I guess I've been a little lazy when it's come to traveling lately, but that's no excuse. Since we're here, and this little Finneon appears to be rather friendly, why don't you ask if it will like to play with you?"

Fleur nods, turning and approaching the little angel fish, while Tess sits down on the grass by the lake. Pachirisu had been watching with interest while Tess released Chinchou and is seemingly still happy to keep her company, but while Tess watches the two Pokémon in the water she can't help but think of how nice it will be to have Pachirisu around on a more permanent basis. Tess quickly scolds herself, knowing full well she doesn't have the space for another Pokémon and tries shrugging off the idea which keeps nagging at her. "There's always babysitting..." a voice in her head taunts while Tess tries pushing it away.

Looking down at Pachirisu, the image of Tess's faraway friend enters her mind and she scolds herself again before thinking, "Screw it!" and pulling an empty Thunder Ball out of her pack.

"Pachirisu," she begins hesitantly. "This is entirely your decision to make, but if you'd like to join me and my team on a more permanent basis, this Thunder Ball can be your new home. I'll take very good care of you, of course, but if you'd rather stay here in Excelsior I'll always have a very special picture of a very special friend to keep me company upon my future travels. What do you say? Will you like to join us?"

Shinjara: As you change directions in your journey, you decide to go into the Rainforest. Looking at the green and beautiful vegetation you continue on your way until something pink hop in front of you. You look at the pink ball with two leaves on its head and wonder where the Cherubi came from before hopping playfully in front of you. What will you do?

Sapphire Lake
quilava plush: After staring at the water for a few minutes you then feel something approach you. You turn only to find a Bidoof. You look at it and it continues to approach you, quite slowly. Before going next to you, it hops into the water looking at you. Looks like this little Bidoof seems interested in you. What will you do?

Wayne covered his eyes before Bulbasaur unleashed the Flash that turned the whole field white. Looking at the almost unaffected Skorupi, Wayne gritted his teeth as the little scoption whacked his tail into Bulbasaur. As the battle continued Wayne saw Bulbasaur fire the beam at the sky which suddenly made everything seem brighter and more beautiful than before as Wayne turned his attention back to the battle with Skorupi as he saw it lunge at Bulbasaur and Bite him. As Bulbasaur took the opportunity to send the Bullet Seeds at Skorupi, the attack soon stopped with Skorupi hitting Bulbasaur with Poison Sting.

“Well, this Skorupi is quite strong. No need to think the obvious but I need to do something now…” Wayne thought before thinking of something that might help Bulbasaur in the next round. “Well Sasan, no need to worry. I know you can do this. Use a Vine Whip to hold Skorupi’s tail. After that use a Leech Seed on it and then headbutt it with all your power in a Skull Bash attack...” Wayne knew that Bulbasaur was enjoying the battle more than himself as it had been his first battle in a while...

:O Coolieo. Lovely updates, Rat.

Tetsu managed to split away from the crowd as they dispersed into the various areas as he came upon the shining lake. The surface of it glittered brightly, and people and Pokemon were dotted about the reasonable-sized lake, partaking in a variety of activities. Looking around, he noticed a small group of Pokemon playing just off shore. He recognized the small blue Pokemon as Azurill, but the other which played with them was foreign to him. After digging through his pockets, he withdrew his newly upgraded Pokedex, and flipped open the top.

A couple of beeps and scanning noises emanated from the machine before a picture of the Pokemon appeared on-screen.

"BUIZEL - Sea Weasel Pokemon. BUIZEL has a flotation sac that is like an inflatable collar. It floats on water with its head out. It swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, its flotation sac collapses." the Dex said in an electronic voice.

"Hmm... sounds interesting..." Tetsu said to himself, depositing his Pokedex in a pocket once more. Tetsu decided to observe it further to find out it's general behavior.

The Buizel seemed to be racing the Azuril now, and the three of them were paddling around the shallows of the lake. After a good deal of swimming, one of the Azuril stops, now a good ways out. Noticing she has been separated, she begins to let out a cry of distress. Her brother as well is far out into the lake, and also begins to squeal. Buizel, being closer to the female Azuril, starts to head for her, but the male still seems to be in danger. Tetsu quickly reacts, tossing a Net Ball into the air. "Crysta!" He called as a purple Quagsire appeared from a small show of blue-green light.

"Quag..." She sighed.

"Crysta, I need you to swim out and help those Azuril!" Tetsu ordered. Crysta replied with a dutiful "Quag!" and a nod, and swam out into the lake.

"Mirage Island," Tom muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed upon the island. Every second he grew nearer he noticed a new detail, something new he couldn't wait to go explore and have a look at. Casting it's shadow was a mountain which seemed to grow as the convoy of Finneon and Polaris grew nearer, it's upper reaches cloaked with mist. Tom had spent the majority of the ride thinking into how the island remained invisible to most, but everything he could come up with just didn't seem feasible... A nudge brought Tom back to reality and as he raised his head he saw Polaris looking back at him, craning her neck around to alert him that they had arrived. "Thanks for the ride Polaris, I really appreciate it."

He slowly dismounted from Lapras and turned his attention back to Finneon who had happily followed the two of them to the island. The Finneon seemed so carefree that Tom couldn't help himself from grinning while watching it play in the shallows. It was with this thought he came up with an idea he thought would keep Finneon entertained while he explored. He knelt down on his knees and put his hand in the water to attract Finneon's attention.

"Hey Finneon, from the look of it I could be on this island for a good few hours exploring, so I don't want to leave you on your own. I really appreciate this, without you we'd probably have given up and gone back so.. just so you have a friend to play with while we're gone I'll leave Lapras to play with you until we get back. Hopefully I'll find someway to say thank you.." Tom trailed off and simply smiled before getting to his feet. He stepped over to where Polaris was waiting and before he could go over the plan with her, she nodded her head and wailed in a content manner. "I guess I'll see you two later, have fun."

With that he turned around and began to walk down the trail into the lush foliage of the trees ahead. He felt oddly peaceful as he strolled onwards, dried leaves crunching underfoot and a light breeze running through the trees. Seeing nature untouched by man was a welcome sight for Tom, he had always disagreed with places like Mirage Island disrupted too badly by visiting trainers and consequently he knew that he should be careful while traversing the island.

It was only a few seconds later that he encountered the first inhabitant of the island. Walking only further down the path was a small green Pokémon bearing it's massive teeth tottering through the grass. Rather alarmed, Tom sidestepped behind some bushes and quickly brandished a Pokéball and held it ready inhand.

"What the hell is that.." He whispered to himself while hanging his head around the bush to moniter the creature's actions. "..Poliwhirl, go!"

He released the tadpole Pokémon next to him so as not to alert the creature then whispered to Poliwhirl.

"I'm going to go over to it to see how it reacts. If you could, I want you to back me up and if it turns hostile I want you to hold him off with a Water Gun then get up close with a Double-Slap!"

Tom signalled to Poliwhirl, then together they tip-toed towards the Pokémon...

For a while after arriving at Sapphire Lake, Jess and Kief simply lazed about on the shore, staring out at the mesmering waters. The reflection of the midday sun produced numerous bright lights dancing upon the surface, reminding Jess somewhat of the glittering meadow they'd just visited previously. However, that place already seemed rather distant in her mind, washed away by the soothing image of the lake before them. Her mind became almost completely blank, a result of the warm sunshine washing over her like a bath. She breathed a sigh, feeling at peace.

Looking across the water, she felt the relaxing atmosphere was somewhat tampered by the shouts and cries of other trainers and their Pokémon who'd come to the water's edge. They were scattered all around the bank, engaged in their own affairs. Seems this place was a pretty popular tourist attraction, probably because it was a good spot to look for wild Pokémon who might be thirsty. She closed her eyes and listened to the mixture of sounds, which wasn't exactly too disruptive, as the cool lapping of the water drowned out their voices. Was it just her though, or did the lake seem to be getting louder...?

She opened her eyes, and there was no mistaking it. A deep rumbling sound had joined the others, and it was coming from below the water's surface. Kief had noticed it was well, and was standing at the edge of the water with his nose barely touching the surface, gazing intently at the ripples caused by the shaking. Curious, Jess stood up to join her Pokémon in watching the lake as it swelled. Suddenly, to her astonishment, a body burst clear out of the water directly in front of her, followed by two others a short distance away from the first. When the spray fell back to the surface, she was able to discern the first shape as actually being two separate entities: a girl and the Wartortle she was riding. The other two appeared to be of the same species, which she recognized as Croconaw when they got a bit closer. They looked extremely cross as they chased the girl, who urged her Pokémon to go faster in order to reach the edge of the lake. It took her a moment to register that they were heading right in her direction, and there weren’t any other people in close proximity besides her. Thus, she thought she should try to help the other girl, as these Croconaw looked extremely vicious, and judging by their speed, she wasn’t sure the other girl’s Pokémon would be able to outrun them.

She glanced hesitantly at Kief, who looked a little unsure about the situation himself. Although he could swim fairly well, these were two giant crocodiles they were talking about. They were completely at home in the water, and even on land Kief might not be able to stand a chance against both of them. Also, she didn’t think he’d recovered sufficiently enough from the last battle for him to attempt another right now. That being said, it would probably be best for him to return to his Pokéball where he could recover faster and remain safe from danger. Kief seemed to agree, and willingly went inside when she brought out his ball. Pocketing it quickly, she retrieved a different Pokéball and threw that one instead. It opened to reveal a shining blue Corsola, who flashed brightly as the sun hit his body as soon as it materialized. “La!” he cried, turning to his trainer, eager to perform whatever action he’d been called upon to perform.

Jess wasted no time explaining. “Haruki, you see that girl out there being chased by those Pokémon? I want you to swim out there and help her out by stalling the Croconaw. Use WATER PULSE to try and confuse them, followed by ICY WIND. Then blow a BUBBLEBEAM in their path to make it slippery. Hopefully that’ll help slow them down.”

Haruki nodded, and jumped into the water, swimming out to where the girl and her Pokémon were in order to try and help them. Meanwhile, Jess waited on the shore, signaling the other girl by waving to her. At the same time. she watched the scene anxiously, hoping this would turn out well.

Sapphire Lake

Watching as Starly goes over to talk with the Shinx, the Shinx immediately looks up, seemingly ready to run at the smallest reason. However, its expression softens as it realizes that Starly means no harm toward it, and it moves to take a tentative step toward Stephen when something comes flying from the lush trees surrounding the lake, slamming into Shinx and knocking it into the lake. The entire area seems to ripple for a few moments, though Stephen ignores this, having more pressing problems at the moment.

Thinking quickly, Stephen pulls out a second Pokeball from his belt and tosses it, the white light morphing into the shape of a Lapras, which lands in the lake, giving a joyous call. "Starly, keep an eye out on the place - whatever hit into Shinx might not be friendly, and if anything comes near, Tackle it as hard as you can! Lapras, help Shinx out - you can bring it to shore or put it onto your back, whichever is most convenient for you. Just make sure it doesn't drown!"

If Rivka was difficult to have her mood sour, it was easy to lift her spirits once more. Perhaps the shock of the events had worn off and she was able to think it through more clearly; though she still feared the pink beasts, she couldn't help but look on the bright side and laugh at the matter. Even if the previous encounter resulted in disaster, she was able to catch a new teammate and she saw a Starly in person. However, she did feel a small pang of guilt for making Akari worry like that and awaited for the Seadra to resurface.

Nero detected something approaching nearby and let out a soft bark to alert Rivka; a rodent with buck teeth was behind her and slowly approached the trainer before splashing into the water and resurfacing to look at her. The trainer looked to the Bidoof and chuckled at its goofy composure. "A cute littly guy, aren't you?" She reached into her berry sack and extended her hand out to the little beaver, a Tanga Berry resting in her palm as an offering of kindness.

Meanwhile, Akari resurfaced from far away to check on her trainer. She saw her extending her hand to the Bidoof, and saw that the trainer was back to her old self again. Relieved, Akari went back to exploring the depths, keeping her distance as not to scare the Bidoof.

"Damn it!" Lee cursed under his breath, while he held on tightly to his Pidgeot. "I'm not getting one second of peace and quiet here.."
That Staraptor sure looked like trouble..he didn't know why that Pokemon was so agressive towards Mekhet and him, but he had to do something about it, for sure. But first, he needed to get down on solid ground..
Leaning down so Mekhet could hear him, Lee said "Listen up, use Agility to evade any attacks that might be coming your way while you're flying towards the ground. Once you're only a few metres above ground, I'm gonna jump and hopefully land without breaking all my bones, so you can focus on battling that angry bird. After I've jumped, I want you to use Double Team to confuse Staraptor and evade its attacks. Then, once you see your chance, swoop in with Aerial Ace! Let's hope this works.."
Lee held on tightly to Mekhet as she continued towards the ground, and prayed that he'd get lucky again..

As Kaya and Maduin entered the Rainforest, the environment changes that of lush vegetation. Maduin opens his eyes after a quick power nap and his eyes light up at the sight of all the trees. Stretching his arms in the air, he let out a loud "GLIIII!!!" before taking off for some gliding. Meanwhile, Kaya noticed something small and pink hop out infront of her. Immediately, Kaya let out a long "Awwwwww..." before kneeling down next to the tiny Cherubi. Maduin immediately glided down next to Kaya and looked at the Cherubi inquisitively. "How cute huh?" she smiled as she said to the little Cherubi, "Are you playing, little one? Maduin, why don't you let Cherubi ride on your back while you glide?" Maduin shrugged, secretly happy inside he could show off his gliding skills. Kaya looked to the little Cherubi, "How does that sound, Cherubi? You'll have lots of fun.." Maduin nodded and pumped his fists excitedly as Kaya watched to see what the little Cherry Pokémon wanted to do.

Falcon stared in horror as the 2 birds dived towards her. Suddenly, she recovered from her moment of petrification, and instantly reached for the berry, at the same time, shouting, "Enterna, fend the Taillow off with a razor leaf/poison powder combo, followed by a sweet scent to distract both Pokemon!"
She picked the berry up and threw a pokeball up in the air.
"Aurora, come on out!" Shouted Falcon.
In a flash, her Misdreavus appeared, smiling gently.
"Aurora, take this berry, and go very fast over to hwere that Pachirisu is," Falcon indicated the pokemon in the nest with her head, "And give it to her to hide. Then, stay with her. You're a ghost pokemon, so slip away unseen, and go fast!"
Falcon handed the berry to Aurora, then turned to Goldfeather,
"Use a quick attack followed by a gust to blow both Pokemon in the opposite direction and to bow the sweet scent towards them, now GO!"
