Seeing that Buneary had been successfully restrained, she quickly tossed the ball at it. Having been rendered immobile, Buneary was now an easy target, and the ball landed neatly right between its long ears. The device opened automatically, drawing the Pokémon's energy inside before it snapped shut and dropped onto the ground. Jessica stared fixedly in anticipation at the red-and-white sphere as it wobbled back and forth, due to Buneary fighting hard to escape from within. She imagined it was probably trying to kick its way out, as the ball shook rather violently. Holding her breath, she watched intently as the ball gave a final shudder, before finally remaining still. At the same time, a bell sounded to indicate a successful capture. Jess sighed and relaxed, walking over to retrieve the device from amidst the grass. Kief trotted after her, looking tired but cheerful. Now that the battle was apparently over, he was back to smiling and feeling somewhat playful. He sniffed at the ball before Jess picked it up, and snorted disdainfully, retreating to allow his trainer to take care of it. Jess smiled, then looked at the metal sphere in her hand, where Buneary was now currently residing. Checking its stats, she was a bit amused to see that Buneary was a girl. Well, she wouldn't tell Kief, at least not right now. Immediately she transferred Buneary to her P.C. where it could recover from the battle. Jess then turned to see Kief resting in the grass belly-up, grinning up at the sky. She knelt down and tickled him a little, congratulating him on a battle well fought. Then they both got up and Jess glanced around a bit, wondering what they should do now. This place was pretty, but she'd heard of a lot of other interesting sites that she thought she might like to see while she was in Excelsior, and she wasn't sure how soon she'd be forced to leave this beautiful land. Looking down at Kief, he again simply wagged his tail, totally agreeing with whatever his trainer was thinking at the moment. "All right, then. How about we go to Sapphire Lake? You can relax by the water, I know you're probably tired after that battle. And maybe we'll find some new Pokémon who are more friendly, and you can play with them." She smiled at Kief, who responded with a wide grin, pleased with the idea. That decided, the two departed from the wide, glittering fields, setting off in the direction of Sapphire Lake instead.

Gnashing his jaws at her Tess isn't quite sure whether to take Inchy's reaction as affirmation or disagreement, but he soon trots over to her and sits at her feet with his chest puffed out proudly making it perfectly obvious he knows he's the victor whether Pachirisu has fainted or not. Serves the little rat right for starting a fight with him... Raising her eyebrow, Tess is partly amused by his reaction but is too concerned for Pachirisu to feed his ego right now. "Here you go mate," she responds in a calmer tone, "We'll heal you up then tend to Pachirisu." Kneeling down, she administers a Potion to Inchy, quickly scanning him to ensure he's ok before heading over to Pachirisu who is looking far from well. Kneeling down in front of the little white squirrel, Tess smiles softly before reaching out and gently stroking its cheek. "I need to thank you Pachirisu," she says. "Inchy may have gotten the upper hand today but that's only because he has a little more training behind him than you. I admire the fact you have such strong morals, and whether you've realised it or not you've taught Inchy a lesson today - one that will stay with him for a lifetime. I hope that means something to you." Unsure as to what Pachirisu may be thinking or feeling Tess falls silent for a moment, waiting for some kind of response. "Now if you'll allow me," Tess continues, "I'd like to heal you with this Potion before we move on. You're even welcome to join us for a while if you like as I'd still like to explore the area."

"Yay! Well done, Tyrande", exclaimed Felix as he jumped in an odd fashion. The little Meowth looked at the trainer with a wierd face, but soon joined him to the celebration. The trainer kneeled down to pick the little Meowth up and hugged her tightly. "See what you can do, my friend? Your fiery power lead us to a very good victory". After saying this, Felix picked up the pokéball wich Tyrande had came from before and pointed it at the Meowth. "Good job, is time for you to Rest insidr your pokéball, my friend", said this Tyrande dissapeared just like Liebe had dissapeared a while before. Felix opened his backpack like searching for something until he finally found it after some seconds. A green pokéball with a leaf drawn on it could be seen in the trainer's right hand. "This litle Snover gave a good battle, I should catch it to take him to a pokémon center", thought the trainer contempling the Leaf Ball in his hand. Remembering the battle, Felix threw the Leaf Ball to the knocked little tree pokémon attempting to catch it.

Jeff ran bit quicker than what he is used to, so when he managed to finally find a pokecentre, he was out of breath. Giving away the skitty to one of the nurses, he was completely out of breath, and horribly tired. He also had really no idea what to do for the next hour. Jeff checked his pokenav, seeing if it had a watch. Either way, he searched for a place to sit, and possibly tour guide if they have a bookcase of some sort in the pokecenter. Batteries was not exactly well, excited. |

Soruta didn't have time to think. At any moment, the Sharpedo may end up speeding away with the poor little Shellos, or end up eating Buizel as well. It was perhaps her own fault that the Shellos had just been swallowed whole by the Sharpedo - the two Pokemon had completely dropped their guard by the time Soruta had befriended them both. So, it might end up being that it would be up to her and Kairu to free the Shellos from the shark - or if it has to come to that, defeat Sharpedo at all costs before Buizel gets injured as well. "Kairu!" Soruta shouted, angry at how such a cheap tactic had been used on them. "We gotta help Buizel and Shellos! Speed up your movements with Agility, and use your speed to ram into the Sharpedo with a Headbutt!" Soruta was worried that such forceful attacks could end up injuring the Shellos that was inside the Sharpedo, but if Kairu and the Buizel did nothing to free Shellos or stop the shark from escaping, then the Shellos would be lost forever...

Stu walked towards the Pokeball, after the nervousness he felt as he watched it wobble a total of four times, each wobble made Stu feel more and more relief inside but he knew at any second the Kricketot could of popped out but it didn't and he caught it. He slowly picked up the Pokeball and stared at it for a second, for that one second he felt a certain feeling of accomplishment and he knew Doomsday was certainly feeling some pride due to the victory of the battle. Stu now thought it was time to move on, so he placed the newly caught Kricketot into his pocket to use another day. But now he wasn't sure what to do. "Like totally awesome I caught a Kricketot like girlfriend...but where can I go now?" he asked himself looking around the area intensively before walking a few steps forward, ready for what would happen next. |

John observed carefully as the battle continued, Hades starting this round by Leering the poison frog once more, immobilizing it. As done before, the dinosaur used this to his advantage, Headbutting the Croagunk again. "Well done" the trainer thought. However, the frog surprised both of them with a Mud-slap which turned out to be more of a damaging Sand-attack, as there was no mud nearby. Nevertheless, Hades was nearly blind, as he missed hitting the Croagunk with yet another Headbutt. What's more, the frog hit the fossil pokemon with another Astonish attack. "This doesn't look good..." he thought, looking at a confused Cranidos. It could still see, but barely; and that would be a problem for sure. "Hades!" he called to his pokemon. "You can't see much, so Leer would be useless. Headbutting at random would be dangerous as well; so, just stay still, and listen carefully. You might hear the Croagunk; or you might be hit by it, and since it's close, you can try to Headbutt. Be careful!"

"Watch it, we don't know how important this jar is!" Rayne scolded her. "Vile, weat!" Her look revealing her comment to mean: EXACTLY! Slightly angry, but still grateful to the Weavile Rayne dropped it at that. The Graveler had dissapeared somewhere, no doubt getting past Mesmenir's vigilant eyes again. As for the Chimchar, it was once again crying, apperantly aware of the trouble it was in. Before he could calm it down though the little fella wiped its tears and grabbed Rayne's hand, leading him towards a small forest. "Mesmenir, Tallon, get over here." The two pokemon were soon walking beside them, still quite anxious to find out what was going on. "I think he's going to show us who this belongs to. Say Mesmenir, how didn't you see that Graveler?" The Rapidash looked astonished; angry and amazed at the fact that he let something past him. "Don't fret it, could of happened to anyone." Mesmenir snorted and looked down at the ground to avoid Rayne's eyes. Tallon took it upon herself to make the horse feel better, using her anicdotes as the remedy. She fired off an Icy Wind into Mesmenir's back side, used Agility to run between his legs, fired another one at his exposed neck as he looked back, and finally leaped onto his back and sat there cross legged. Rayne couldn't help but giggle at the sense of miscoordination on Mesmenir's part. And then burst out laughing when the horse bucked in rapid succesion, throwing the pesky weasel of his back. "Traveling with my party is never boring. Wouldn't you say?" He asked the Chimchar, who was also giggling slightly. Although he was glad to see that the Chimchar was slightly rejoiced, the moment didn't last long. Soon after the fire ape stopped walking, nudging Rayne to look into the clearing. Rayne noticed a stone temple, confused he snapped back to the Chimchar who was once again shaking in fright. Looking back more carefully he noticed a mass of Chimchar, Monferno and Infernape all screeching at eachother and periodically pointing at the temple. Rayne finally spotted a little crevice in the wall, presumeably the one the jar went it. "So this is where you got the jar." He whispered. He handed the jar back to Tallon, and knelt beside the Chimchar, looking him straight in the eyes. "You took the jar and now your friends are mad at you?" The Chimchar nodded, water gathering in his eyes. He pointed at the jar and then the temple. And then pointed at Rayne, himself and finally the angry mob. Understanding the instructions wasn't that hard, gathering his wits was a different story. "OK then. As I told you, I won't let you get in trouble. We'll go in and smooth out the situation." He said, standing up. "Tallon, thanks for your help, but I don't want you going in there in the off chance a brawl ensues." The Weavile handed him the jar, sent one final Icy Wind at Mesmenir and vanished into her ball. While Mesmenir stomped the ground in anger Rayne released his Blaziken; who to his relief was in a serious mood today. Rayne was glad to see Minerva and apperently she was happy to be out of her pokeball. She eyed the Chimchar carefully, before sending out a small Ember which engulfed the flame on its head and then merged with it. She smiled at the Chimchar, but when he didn't return the smile she looked at Rayne and then Mesmenir. The Rapidash shrugged, and told her he was just as clueless. Rayne pointed at the temple, causing an immediate change in her mood; she stiffened, grinned mischiviously and winked at Mesmenir. "No. We're not attacking them Minerva. We must start peacefully, only if they aggrivate the Chimchar or attack us will you two attack. I trust that you'll keep a cool head." Rayne almost laughed at the accidental slip in words, he knew full well these two had the hottest heads when it came to their trainer being attacked. "Well then, you ready buddy? We're going in to talk to your friends. We'll make sure you're allright and that you're not going to be punished. I'm sure you had a good reason to take the jar." With that he stepped through the trees and into the clearing, glad that he had some protection in case things went bad. The Chimchar followed hiding behind his legs, finally his two guardians stepped through. At the very least he didn't look like he was easy pickings; if they fought he had two very able companions with him. |

Thed surfed atop of Tsunami as they finally got to Excelsior.
"Man, Tsunami how come you had to take the long way here?" "Blast... Toise!" "I didn't give you the wrong directions! Heck if anything you were just enjoying the surf weren't you." "Blast." "Well, at least we got here. But, I gotta return ya now so that I can use some of the youngin's. You understand right, Tsunami?" "Blast. Blast." "Thanks bud." Thed returned his trusty Blastoise back to his pokeball and threw out another. The pokeball opened up and a Slugma formed in front of Thed. "Yo, Kilauea! I know we haven't had that much time to bond so I figured why not do it in a new unexplored place." "Slug..." "Hehe. So I figured since we're going to be with each for a long time that you better get used to some tropical temperatures. I know you're hot, but you gotta get used to the cool as well. We'll go by slowly at first and I heard there's a rainforest here so lets go there to top things off." "Slug..." "Ok. Off to the Rainforest we go!" Thed and Kilauea then walked off towards the rainforest, although a bit slow due to Kilauea being a slug...

Having had his fill of dreams Zabini then decides to interject with a few choice ones of his own. A purple aura surrounds him as he prepares some gruesome Nightmares before sending them over to the Hippopotamas making the creature shake and whine in its sleep. Whatever nightmares Zab had sent over it could not have been pleasant. It was enough to startle the Hippo from its slumber causing it to run around in a frantic panic. Realising that Zabini was grinning jovially at it, a glare crossed its face before it charged at Stacey's Drowsee knocking him on his six. Zabini growls in annoyance and leaps up smacking the Hippopotas upside the head with his Pound. Both pokemon seemed to now be in a staredown, neither one wanting to give an inch. Stacey smiled, Zabini was fighting wonderfully for his first time and demonstrated a killer instinct and determination to succeed. She quickly formulated the next set of attacks which she believed would work in their benefit. "Zabini, quickly use your Flash to blind it then reduce its movements with a blast of Chocolate Magic and for this finale strike with Hidden Power (Rock)."

Although Nookie was hit and outdone, Feera smiled slightly to himself - this was what he'd looking for, but certainly hadn't expected in the form of a Starly. "Turns out this will become a challenge after all, don't you agree?" he said loudly to Nookie. "This time, try using Hypnosis, and then Dream Eater. Shouldn't that work, locate it with a Foresight, and then Peck it." Nookie had certainly been surprised by this little speedy foe, but he wasn't going down that easily, at least not when it came to aerial skill; Feera knew that. For Nookie was quite the flier, it wasn't all because he was a different color he was treated specially by his trainer. So, Feera decided that it would be an idea to test the flying ability of this Starly thoroughly. "And don't forget to show off your Flying if needed, try a feint and then attack, or however you'd like to improvise. Just go for it!" If the enemy bird did as well this round, Feera knew he'd have to have it.

"hey, Dyrrie," Ed sputters from inside the embrace, "glad to see you're not resentful. now, if you'd let me down, I've got someone for you to meet." Curious, the firey behmoth lets go and cocks his head expectantly, intrigued by the presence of a new team member. his trainer seemed to be getting a few of those lately. Wiping soot and ash from the front of his shirt, Ed takes the pokeball containing his new Croagunk out and tosses it with a flourish onto the grass infront of Dyrim. The little toad looks a little disoriented, croaking confusedly and looking around. however, he catches sight of Ed and realizes what has happend, letting a small smile show through at his new trainer, than turning to meet Dyrims gaze. with a look of bewilderment, the little toad hops back a few steps and turns back to Ed, a look that pretty much says, "now you want me to fight THIS?" laughing at the little toads apprehension, Ed shakes his head, saying cheerily, "no, silly. I caught you for his dinner!" at this the little monsters eyes widen , but Ed quickly reassures the frog that he's kidding, and asks if he would like to help the two of them figure out where to go next. visibly relaxed, but still a bit apprehensive, the agile little amphibian leaps strait into the air and lands on Ed's head, sticky little toes braced against his shoulders. The three sit around on the grass(well, Dyrrie on the cement :]) for an hour or so, before they all finaly agree on the Tropical Rainforest as their next destination. Hopping up onto Dyrrie's shoulders(witch the magmortar rid of flame for the comfort of his trainer) Ed,Sigma, as the little toad had been dubbed by his new trainer, and Dyrim head off toward the Forest, wondering what new adventures await them in this mysterious land. |

"Oh.. my.. god," Tom gasped, his eyes remaining concentrated on the materialising island. He had heard rumours of an island which only appeared to some but he had assumed it was simply that, a rumour. He slung his rucksack onto his shoulders and climbed to his feet hastily. Overcome by excitement, Tom was worried the island would disappear once again if he delayed his departure from the lakeside. "Thanks so much Finneon, you can follow us there if you like but I'm gonna have to return Relicanth." Giving Atlantis a moment to say his farewells to Finneon, Tom clicked the Pokéball's main button and in seconds Atlantis was gone from the lake. He rummaged in his pockets for a second ball, that of Polaris, and threw the ball at the ground while yelling "Go, Lapras!". In the area where the water was rippling from Relicanth's disappearance, Lapras appeared and took up a rather larger area then Atlantis which caused small shockwaves to lap against the lake bank. Polaris' sapphire skin glistened in the sweltering sun accompanied by her warm smile which seemingly perked up the situation even more. Tom climbed onto Lapras' shell and looked down for Finneon who remained where he swum previously, then opened his mouth to speak. "If you like Finneon you can follow Polaris to the island and see us off and if I pass back later you could meet up with Atlantis again." Tom smiled as he spoke, then holding onto one of the protruding spike on Lapras' shell he cheesily exclaimed. "To Mirage Island!"

Shinjara: Madiun being its attack by dive bombing into Glameow who gets thrown back by the attack and hissing angrily, slightly disoriented. It looks up, only to see the purple balls, too late to do anything to dodge them. As you see the small explosions you see the Glameow get thrown back and as it tries to get up it you take your chance and send the Moon Ball at the weakened cat. You see the Moon Ball jiggle for what seemed like an eternity before hearing the ping sound that means you’ve captured the female level 3 Glameow. What will you do now? Sapphire Lake quilava plush: As Nero begins to Howl you then begin to hear rumbling of water. Turning your attention you become horrified at what you see. You think for second what to do as a waves comes towards you and your pokemon. Unable to do anything at that second the wave comes in and sweeps all your pokemon off their feet and splashing you with the water. You turn to see the cause of the wave and see a Gastrodon going back into the water with the injured Shellos on its back and the pink Shellos next to it. Before you can say anything both quickly swim away across the beautiful lake and dive into the water… Mt. Sierra Xuande: You throw the Pokeball at Hippopotas, who when connected with the red and white sphere gets absorbed into it. You see the ball fall to the ground and see it move around furiously for a few seconds before calming down to a full stop with the recognisable sound of ping at the end, that means the capture is successful of the female level 4 Hippopotas. After you get the pokeball you then see something in front of you, a floating steel like circle. Before you even do anything, Bronzor answers angrily at you as if it saw the fight and didn’t like something you did. What will you do? Quote:

"It... could have eaten me! All I wanted to do was help the poor sluggy and... this happens? Was it something I said?" As Mara retreated to her Pokeball for some much-needed rest, the sudden surf putting unneeded stress on her tired body, Nero the Mightyena (along with his Wet Dog Smell) padded over and nuzzled Rivka on the face. No matter how much he secretly thought she was over-the-top about handling the situation (especially her suddenly-developed phobia for Gastrodons), he knew that she wanted to help the poor Shellos despite her knowing that one of its kind would better tend to it. All because trying to stop a bullying starling resulted in a domino effect for the worse, the group's vacation seemed ruined. Rivka was only glad that the little Buizel she just caught didn't witness such a disaster for fear that it would leave her upon seeing the way she handled it. Her pack managed to stay out of the way and her Pokedex was waterproof, but it didn't do any good that she forgot to pack a change of clothes. She didn't want to travel in wet clothing, and although she could just take up an opportunity to go snorkeling again... Gastrodon. The trainer sighed, defeated, and remained sitting down on the shore. She grabbed a stick nearby and began twirling it in the water slowly, wondering what to do next. Meanwhile, Akari floated in the sapphire blue waters and looked to her trainer solemnly; it was really hard to make Rivka unhappy, so this worried the sea dragon. She slowly swam closer to Rivka, nudged her hand affectionately, then dived underwater to explore the depths of the lake and possibly find something to lift her human's spirits, if only a little.

This was the first time the trainer and Pokemon had worked together against an opponent, and both were just lapping up the action; Kris especially, who hadn't had a good battle in months. "Go, go, go!" She screeched, more than a lttle over-exuberant. "Show that little whatchamacallit who's boss! Headbutt it, Zuu, and then use Rain Dance! And, and, and! BUUUUBBLEBEAM! Yeah!"

"Well Coriolis," he said with a new smirk on his face, "it looks liek we have some exploring to do. Why don't you lay off the flight for awhile and just travel beside me? Then, we can both discover the sanctity of the desert while level with its mysteries. I don't mind walking, that is, if you don't mind flying next to me. However, I still maintain that we should search for the pirate vessel rumored to traverse the sands. Either we look for its ruin or the fabled venturings it might have committed. Either way, I say we stalk its path and search for treasure beneath these buried lands." Then, nodding to his silent partner as he patted her long neck, Grey and Coriolis set off for more adventure in the dunes of Phantom Desert.

From his time spent on Sinnoh analysis, Shadow knew from his information that Burmy weren't exactly the strongest of Pokemon. Their weak physiology meant that they had to resort to using bits of whatever environment they were in to protect their frail bodies. Even in evolution, their battle aptitude still remained in the not-so-high tier of Pokemon. Okay, make that not-high-at-all tier of Pokemon. What was he to do with a species like this? Ah, well, he thinks. Grim needs the experience and that's all the motivation I need. He knew in addition to their low capabilities, Burmy were also horribly limited in attacks... "Grim, Leer to force Burmy into setting up Protect. Then once it lets its guard down, let 'im have it with Night Shade!"

Picking up the Moon Ball with Glameow safe inside, she said, "A tough opponent, a worthy teammate perhaps?" Pondering, she popped the Moon Ball into her bag for safety before looking about, not seeing anything of interest. Maduin swooped over to Kaya and landed on her shoulder. "Well.." Kaya smiled, "Let's move onto the Rainforest I think to see what else this new land has to offer.." she said, as she walked off with Maduin on her shoulder, the Gligar panting slightly before wrapping his arms around Kaya's neck and falling asleep.

He is distracted, at that point, by the approach of a young girl, asking if he'd seen a Shinx. Looking over the little girl, Joshua assumes that she is the Shinx's trainer, and a small twinge of anger and regret rushes through him, his hopes to obtain the Shinx now in his arms having been dashed harshly. Turning to the little girl, Joshua kneels down beside her. "You mean like this little one here?" he asks, gesturingly to the Shinx. "I found him injured and under attack, so I stepped in to help. He seems pretty badly hurt, and I don't know if he'll be ok. I gave him some Potions, but I'm not sure that was enough." Whistling to his Pokemon, Michael, Kenzie and Tessie stand beside him. Gesturing to his Arcanine, Joshua again speaks to the girl. "If you know somewhere around here that can administer aid, hop on. Tessie will get us there quick as a flash." Kenzie and Michael exchange glances quickly, smiling at the thought of a good run, and Joshua and Tessie await the girl's response... Pausing for a moment, Joshua uses his right arm to reach into the very bottom of his bag, pulling out a rather dusty Pokeball, before enlarging it, and hurling it at one of the Combee, Michael bounding after the ball to fetch it...

Yo! Rat here, with my first update ever! :D Right now, I've got thed3 in my group so far. So, without further ado...
(the magic color is purple) ~Rainforest~ thed3: You and Kilauea enter the steamy green depths of the Rainforest, the Slugma leaving a smoldering trail in its wake. There are strange noises all around you; from the soil beneath your feet to the canopy above, this place is active with many chirps, buzzes, and trills, and with none of the sources of these sounds within your sight, it truly gives the impression that the forest itself is a living thing. But wait--something just dashed into your line of sight! Or rather, stumbled out of the nearby foliage and fell flat on its face. As it picks itself up slowly, looking pouty after its fall, it appears to be a Cherubi. In contrast, the other, smaller cherry-face behind it appears blissfully unaware of any troubles. The Cherubi quickly recovers itself, however, as soon as it discovers two strangers just a few feet away--you and your Slugma--and stares at you. It's uncertain as to what the wild Cherubi could do next. What will you do? |
