The guy on the left is from Scrubs. His quartet is featured many times on the program.

I was thinking that just the other day, a Calvin and Hobbes came to mind, where Calvin flies an f-14 and blows up his school. Watterson wrote "I got a lot of letters about this one, saying that the thought of a kid blowing up his school was totally inappropriate. Apparently some of my readers were never children themselves."

If he ran the same strip today, he'd be lynched, but what he said would be no less true.
