At the moment I only have peaches, but I have now just planted Pears, Apples and Oranges, and my gate is open if anyone wants to visit, though my 3DS is charging so I won't be able to do anything.

Donate new things when you get them. The 15,000 or so you'll get from a Coelacanth or shark is nothing compared to how much you could get in 15 minutes of beetle grinding.

Yeah... it's almost unfair how ridiculously easy it is to get Bells now. Seriously, a half hour trip to the island can net you 50-150k bells depending on what you get - it's just... absolutely ridiculous how fast you can get rich in this game. Not sure if I really like that to be honest, but then again one of the biggest problems I had with past AC games was how long it took to get the bells needed to upgrade your home due to the value of the common fish and bugs you found all the time being so low.

This game changed that in a big way and made it... a bit too fast to upgrade since I've upgraded my house at least once a day almost (except today and one day I bought an aethetic change), but then again you have the public works projects now, too, so that kind of helps balance things out because let's face it, your citizens don't donate SHIT to those funds. I had ONE donate a thousand bells, I did the other 137k.

I went to town to buy this, but it seems Nintendo didn't send enough copies to any of the stores, so I had to have Gamestop mail me one from their warehouse. Hopefully it'll arrive by Friday.

It'd be awesome if I could edit the cutscene for other people entering my town. I thought of a really awesome possibility.
