RS: You start off by releasing your Meowth and then after some debating your Ariados to. You bark out some orders before running to the side of the injured Murkrow. You take out a potion and spray it all along the bird pokemon’s body while Karasu looks down at it with a slightly worried look. To your surprise the potion seems to have no effect on the Murkrow and it continues to lie unconscious on the ground. Hopping that it will take effect soon you turn your eyes toward the battle going on before you.

Vincent starts the battle by letting out a strong glowing light which covers the entire battle field. After a few moments the light fads away, leaving the enemy birds stunned and confused. They stop right away squawking gibberish to each as they try to understand what is going on. Karasu remembering your orders shoots out a Confuse Ray which flies over to one of the nearby Fearow. Now completely confused as well as blind the bird desperately flails its beak around while flying in a bunch of small circles. Its beak manages to hit some of its other allies and chaos breaks out as the blind birds think they are under attack. A brawl then erupts among all the opposing birds.

“Mmmuurrr,” you hear a soft voice speak out and your eyes turn towards the wild Murkrow. Its eyes are still closed but its slightly shaking body shows some sign of life. This makes you feel a bit better about the situation.

Seeing that the birds are currently occupied Bibuki takes this opportunity to launch a large gust of snowy wind straight at his opponents. It crashes into the Fearows and the icy blast is too much for them to handle and one by one they start to fall to the ground. Their bodies are covered with an icy froth which makes it difficult for them to lift their wings. Their senses now completely awake they are furious and are not overly pleased with the cute face Bibuki is trying to pull off. They give him several angry squawks causing him to take a startled step back and make his attempted attack useless. Seeing that the effects of blizzard are slowly going away Vincent uses the opportunity to the max by spraying a bunch of strings over the birds causing them to be trapped in a sticky net.

“Murkrow, krow!” Karasu suddenly exclaims causing you to quickly turn and look towards him. Right away your eyes latch onto the other Murkrow who is still knocked out but glowing with a strange white aura. At first you think that it is evolution but the glow is too soft and nothing was happening. You also feel something very strange deep down and you are very confused with what is going on. Your attention is slightly pried from the situation when you notice that the opposing Fearows are starting to break down the net. What will you do?
"Good job guys!" Kami cheered on her Pokémon. The battle seemed to be going fairly well for them; none of Kami's Pokémon had even been hit.

Shortly after the Fearow had been tied up in a sticky thread thanks to Vincent, Karasu squawked for Kami's attention. Turning around, she saw that the other Murkrow was glowing. Kami gasped abruptly. What was happening? A strange feeling welled up deep inside the girl. Suddenly out of the corner of her eye, Kami noticed the Fearow breaking down the net. Shaking her head, she returned her focus to the battle.

"Vincent, hit one with a Sucker Punch. Bibuki, attack another with Fake Out. Karasu, Astonish on a different one." Kami began relaying orders, "Then, Vincent, hit 'em as hard as you can with a Double-Edge. Bibuki, use Assurance on the same one. Karasu, finish up this round with a Sky Attack on any of them."

Turning her head back to the other Murkrow, Kami watched it. 'What is going on?' she thought to herself. 'It's definitely not evolving, but what could it be? And what was that weird feeling I had? Kami frowned. It was no use trying to figure everything out now, the battle was currently the top priority.

You gasp in horror as Espy is soon covered by a purple blob with eyes which are looking straight at you. Right away you realize that this creature before you is none other then Muk.

“Mmmmukkkk,” it grunts before squirting a pile of purple gunk straight at your face. You grimace in pain as the sludge starts to burn your face and you quickly take the end of your shirt and wipe the stuff off your face. When your face is clean you open your eyes and to your surprise Espy is being held in a metal cage held by a person wearing a black cloak. You cannot see their face do to a hood shading it and the Muk sits right beside this person looking at you with a goofy smile.

“Esp…” Espy calls out weakly before stopping due to a shock that came from the collar around his neck. His eyes are helpless and you can tell that he has been shocked by the collar several times before.

“Shut up you runt,” the figure tells your Espeon while rudely shaking the cage causing Espy to shutter in fear. You can feel the anger boiling up inside of you and you are about to release it when you are interrupted by a large jeep driving into the clearing. There is another person on it and you wonder if it is one of the people in the bushes.

“See ya sucker,” the person before you yells before jumping into the open back of the jeep with the Muk fallowing him over. You can see the person laughing and pointing at Espy while leaning casually against the edge of the jeep. Then with a loud screech the jeep starts to rush across the path at a pretty fast speed, leaving you a dust cloud and a bunch of confusion and anger. What will you do?
Gary was stinging. He quickly wiped the gunk off of his face, making sure he didn’t get any in his eyes, because if he were to get any of those chemicals in his eyes, he was certain he’d go blind. Gary was bewildered. Before he knew it, he was caught like a deer in headlights, literal headlights of a jeep which began to speed away with his beloved Espeon captured in a cage. Gary was furious. “NO ONE STEALS MY GOD DAMNED POKEMON AND LIVES TO TALK ABOUT IT!” Gary bellowed, in a rage, and plucked a pokeball off of his belt.

“Now it’s on!” Gary gritted his teeth, chucking the ball before him as he sprinted off after the car. As the pokeball burst open and a large shape formed in a bright light, Gary jumped into the air and landed on the back of a large, golden-scaled Charizard as she appeared. “After that car!” Gary demanded, pointing in the direction of the dust created by the vehicle. Ramoth knew instantly that her trainer meant business, and grunted in obedience.

“Fly fast as you can, gal, and when we catch them, try to short circuit their engines with a Thunderbolt!” Gary mounted the Charizard’s back in a more secure position, his legs placed at the top of her shoulder blades and arms wrapped around her neck. At the moment, Gary was in a frenzy; he could think about nothing but saving Espy, no matter what the costs.

Sneasel12: Sky Gate- please reply in SkyBlue
The man lightens up as Marissa eagerly claims her desire to go, and chuckles as you head over and ask what he wants in return for the tour. “Ah, it’s nothing much at all,” he begins, wiping his forehead. “I don’t require any payment, but it would be a great help if you could assist me in some of the excavating. These ruins are newly discovered, and it’s somewhat dangerous to leave them out in the open like this. So how about it?”

Due to your Duskull’s willingness to check it out, Michael nods slowly, introducing himself and Marissa.” The old man grins and shakes Michael’s hand, introducing himself as “Fletcher.”
After waiting about five more minutes to see if he could find anyone else who would like to come along, Fletcher beckons Michael and Marissa as he begins to walk through the Sky Gate. “Nimbulias is located not far from the Makini Sanctuary,” he lectures as the three of you head down the path, “So it’s not too far from here.” Michael nods as he silently listens to Fletcher, but spends more time looking around at the scenery. They soon enough turn off from the main path to a smaller, overgrown trail.

“Not much is known about the ancient Nimbulians,” Fletcher goes on, “except that they were an indigenous tribe that worshiped two gods: the sun god and the moon god.” The three of you then emerge into a rather large clearing that seems to be deserted. There are two rather large ancient pyramids that don’t look all too different from those built by the ancient Mayans in Central America. In between the two temples, there is a stone altar with some kind of box on top of it. Fletcher seems pleased about something when he catches sight of the box, and then warns Michael, “Be careful, as there are a few wild pokemon around here who have been acting peculiar ever since the moon has come close to the sun.”

You squint as you look into the sky, and in fact you can see the moon, and it’s fairly close to the sun. The could be colliding soon for today’s eclipse. The three of you continue into the ruins, heading in the direction of the altar. As if on cue, some hissing is heard as two feline looking pokemon emerge from behind the altar. One has light purple fur and has a forked tail, while the other has pitch black fur with golden rings on it. The Espeon and Umbreon look fairly agitated and arch their backs at you as they stop in front of the altar, as it they were guarding it. The Espeon’s eyes begin to glow as does the Umbreon’s rings, and you know right away that they have every intention of attacking you and aren’t going to wait for you to back off. Fletcher nervously bites his lip, and it’s now apparent that he wanted you along because he does not have any pokemon to fend for himself. It might be wise to send out a second pokemon, as both eons look like they’ll be coming at once and not taking turns. What will you do?
Greatly relieved when the tour guide said that he wouldn't require any payment, Michael decided that he'd go on the tour. Michael shakes hands with the man who then introduces himself. After a few minutes of standing by Fletcher waiting for others to come by, Michael follows Fletcher off to go to Nimbulias. Listening to Fletcher's boring rant, the word "Makini Sanctuary" comes up, and Michael chuckles a little at the funny name. Marissa seemed much more intent, listening to every word that Fletcher said with utter attention. After hearing about the two gods that the Nimbulians worshipped being the Sun God and the Moon God, Michael could only hope their wouldn't be too much weirdness going on during the eclipse, while Marissa seemed to get more and more excited. Michael found his hopes to be put down when Fletcher spoke of the Pokemon acting strangely, even though he couldn't find any Pokemon to be seen. As Fletcher continues towards the altar between the two pyramids, Michael stays alert, his suspicions confirmed by the hissing sound coming from the Espeon and Umbreon who emerge from behind the altar. Marissa floats up towards the two cat-fox Pokemon, ready for battle, though outnumbered. Michael wastes little time, pulling a Pokeball from his pocket, throwing it into the air to release his Houndoom, Joe. The Houndoom walked up next to the Duskull, ready to fight with the two Pokemon, looking back and forth, choosing his foe. He completely ignores the Espeon, staring angrily at the Umbreon, wanting a battle with a fellow Dark type. Marissa turns toward Espeon in response to Joe choosing his opponent, and the two await orders.

Michael puts his arm out in front of Fletcher, pushing him back to avoid any distractions, trying to focus fully on the battle at hand. "Joe, unleash your Flamethrower on the Umbreon and then go into a Fire Spin, run interference on any Dark attacks that come towards Marissa. Marissa, go all out on Espeon with a Shadow Ball, follow up with a Dark Pulse and then a Dark Void to prevent any attacks from the two of them."

Joe simply nods in agreement with Michael, taking a small step back to keep Marissa in the corner of his eye. Marissa, however, remained still, for the first time in a long while in fact, a sure sign that she was focusing on nothing but fighting.

Muyo eagerly accepts the offer, reminiscing about his past tournaments, and releases Taki, his Tyrogue. Just as eager as his trainer, upon hearing about the competition Taki begins to glow, growing bigger and pointier. When the glowing stops, a Hitmontop is standing in the place of where the Tyrogue once stood. While Taki begins to show off his new looks, Muyo congratulates his pokemon and begins to fill out the form.

Once the form is completely filled out with Muyo’s chosen pokemon, he hands the clipboard back to the receptionist, who smiles and replies with a, “Thank you for participating. If you would kindly wait around here for another twenty minutes, registration will be ending and the participants will be escorted to the waiting room.”

Muyo nods silently and walks further into the cabin. Exchanging friendly nods in greeting with random people he meets eyes with, Muyo checks out some of his other competition. However, there isn’t much to see as no one else has any of their pokemon released beside them. They must be trying to play it safe and not reveal any of their teams. Seeing as scoping out his competition here would do no good, Muyo sits down on a sofa and reads a magazine about Pokemon battling.

Twenty minutes go by and when the time comes, the receptionist gets up from her desk and clears her throat. “Um, excuse me everyone, registration is now over and if you would please kindly follow me, I will take you to the waiting room for the tournament.” She heads to the door and everyone in the room follows, including Muyo, as everyone shuffles outside.

The woman leads the group around the back of the massive stadium, away from where the crowds are still piling inside. Around the back is a large doorway, which resembles a loading dock, except there are no trucks unloading any cargo. She pulls a key on a wristband off her wrist and uses it to unlock the doors, and opens them. The group follows as she leads everyone inside and locks the door behind them. The interior of the stadium looks like, well, a stadium, with concrete walls leading down a long hallway. Turning a couple of corners, the group comes upon a rather large, elliptical room that looks more like a club for those with highly priced tickets than a locker room. There is a small bar that serves refreshments to those sitting at it, though no alcohol is permitted for the participants, of course. There are several comfortable looking benches that are padded, as they all face the front wall which is covered with a few big screen TVs. On the largest screen, the picture is of the center stage of the stadium, which has an announcer blabbing away about his predictions of the tournament. It’s apparent that this television will be showing all of the action. Another one of the televisions shows some charts, about some statistics of the battles, and one shows a giant bracket, which is currently blank, as the matches have not been decided yet.

Once the trainers get acquainted with the room, the woman speaks up again, “Now then, it is time for the opening ceremonies, and so if you would all please follow me, we’ll be heading out onto the field now.” Everyone follows her as she leads the group down a different, shorter hallway. The end of the hall is bright, and you realize that beyond it is the main battlefield, apparent by the increasing volume of cheers up ahead.

“And now would you please welcome this year’s combatants!” A loud voice booms over the speakers, followed by the crowd erupting in applause. The woman smiles at the group, giving a quiet “Good luck,” followed by a, “Please follow me.” The trainers follow her out into the stadium, the crowd’s cheering getting even louder. The stadium is massive, and it is filled with thousands of people, making Muyo wonder how so many people could come off the beaten track of the Cloud Garden to find such a tournament that he had never heard of.

The battlefield is pretty large and intricate itself, being about forty yards wide and sixty yards long and having about twenty tall evergreens scattered about it, and a clearing in the middle of it, about twenty yards by forty. However, the trees are not that densely clustered, so that visibility of the clearing is obscured. To the side of one of the lengths of the battlefield is a long platform, where the referee and the announcer are standing. The announcer explains to the audience some information about pokemon battles while the woman leads everyone up to the platform where a fold-out table has been set up. “And now it’s time to decide the matches!” the announcer announces.

On the fold-out table is a closed box with a small hole on top, just wide enough for a large hand to fit in. “We’ll be deciding the order of today’s battles by a drawing of numbers, and we’ll be doing this alphabetically!” the announcer declares. “Now then will the first of you please come up to draw your number,” he looks at a list on a clipboard quickly, “Jeremy Barrows!” A slender teenage boy walks up to the box nonchalantly and reaches in it. A moment later, his hand emerges, holding a small white ball about the size of a tennis ball with a number inscribed on it. “Twenty four, not bad at all!” the announcer exclaims, and you begin to wonder how many energy drinks he must have had before the show. He then goes on to list some other names and people go up to the box as they’re called, picking their numbers.
“And the next up is… Nick Muyo!” It was finally Muyo’s turn, and he casually heads over to the box. Sticking his hand inside, he can feel that quite a few have already been taken out of the box, and when he feels he’s taken just the right one, he pulls it out and looks at it. “Number four!” the announcer calls, commenting, “Looks like you’ll be having one of the earlier matches.” Two people after Muyo go up in their respective turns, and then when they finish, the crowd begins to roar.

“It’s about time, ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to the defending champ, the one, the only, Marco Sorin!” The crowd goes wild as a young man in his early twenties steps forward. He has slicked back dark brown hair and wears a black leather jacket and baggy jeans, almost resembling either some kind of rock star or a biker, you can’t decide which. He gives a lazy wave to the audience as he heads over to the box, quickly pulling the first ball he can grab out of it. “And it looks like we’ll have to save the best for almost last, as our defending champ has picked number twenty-nine!” the announcer cries. Out of any of the participants, Muyo realizes that he’ll be the one to beat. A few more trainers are called up after Marco, until all slots have finally been chosen. The opening ceremonies come to a close, and the woman leads all trainers back into the waiting room as a cleaning crew prepares the battlefield for the first battle.

Once everyone is back in the waiting room, Muyo heads over to the television screen with the brackets to check out who his first opponent is. According to the bracket, he will be facing off against number three, someone who goes by the name of… Paul Planter, maybe he likes peanuts, Muyo thought. In any case, their match will begin shortly after the first match, and considering that in the first round, the matches are a one-on-one, so it shouldn’t be long until it would be his turn. Looking around the room to see if he could find the face that matched that of his opponent’s on the bracket screen, Muyo couldn’t find Paul. This was unnecessary; however, as the announcer called across the intercom that it was now time for Muyo’s and Paul’s match.

Muyo heads back out into the stadium once again, this time alone, and the crowd cheers as he steps onto the gravel of the arena outside of the battlefield. He looks up on the big screen, and there’s already a picture of him and a picture of his opponent. It keeps the score for the fans to watch, if they can’t see clearly enough through the trees. A man with a strange looking haircut then chuckles as he passes behind Muyo, and it’s none other than Planter. Muyo wishes his opponent the best of luck, but without returning the favor, Paul walks over to the opposite side of the battlefield, remarking that he won’t need it. The judge holds a red and a green flag, the green side representing Muyo and the red representing Paul. He calls for both of you to call out one pokemon each. Paul takes no hesitation in releasing a Lombre, which dances around a little before crossing its arms. It’s your turn to send out a pokemon and make the first move. Fight on!
Slightly flabbergasted at all of the grand spectacle in the Cloud Forest, Muyo moves through opening ceremonies more curious about just why one would build a stadium in the middle of the forest. Like putting a basketball team in San Antonio, it just didn't make sense. However, once the selection process begins Muyo's attention turns back to the competitors, sizing up each of them from a glance at how they carried themselves. Finally meeting up with his opponent, Muyo compliments his fine top hat, cane and monocle, as well as wishing his competitor the best of luck. After a harsh rebuke from the monocled miscreant, the smile leaves Muyo's face. So it's going to be like that, huh? Muyo spins a Pokéball on his finger absentmindedly before hurling it into the arena, "Go, Dewdrop! How about we teach this top-hatted tough how to battle, hm? First let's get you pumped and dispell any distance attacks he tries with a Swords Dance. Then, wrap him up in your Vine Whip and hoist him over your head and let him have it with your sleep powder before you complete the whip and hurl him into one of the trees." Muyo grins, surveying the Lombre and Mr. Peanut. This was going to be fun

Re: The Cloud Garden

Here is the mid week update for those that have replied so far.

RS: You give out your orders and decide to ignore the strange glow coming from the wild Murkrow and keep your focus on the battle before you. Within this time the Fearows have managed to break most of the net and are starting to get free. One of the birds manages to escapes and starts flying straight towards you. Vincent then runs forwards and rams it body into the opposing bird. It crashes to the ground with a squawk of disapproval.

Another Fearow manages to free its self and is about to pounce onto Vincent but is interrupted by a pair of cat claws scratching at its face. With pure anger and frustration it lashes out its beak poking Bibuki several times and causing him to fall to the ground hard. It then swoops down with glowing wings preparing to hit the defenseless cat but is interrupted by a spinning Vincent who crashes into the bird’s body. Bibuki takes this opportunity to strike that same bird with two hard blows which turns out to be too much for it to handle as it is knocked out from the attack.

Meanwhile Karasu is taking care of the pokemon that Vincent attacked with his first attack. That Fearow was about to assist its ally when a small body crashed into it causing it to feel slightly dazed. By the time it recovered from the Astonish attack it is too late as Karasu rams into it once more this time with a glowing body. The bird is once again knocked down to the ground and lies there for a few moments before barely managing to lift its self back into the air. It flies up to its other buddies who have finally escaped from the net. They are madder then ever and are prepared to avenge their fallen partner.

Although you managed to knock out one of the birds and badly injure another one your pokemon are starting to look tired from the events of battling. Bibuki was the only one to receive some decent damage but they all have used a decent amount of energy in the battle so far. It is hard to tell who has the upper hand so far. What will you do?

Sandaa: With anger running through your entire body you release your Charizard and immediately tell her, her orders. Once you are finish you climb on her back and hold on to her neck. The golden dragon flaps her large wings and pounces up into the air with one powerful leap. With a few more flaps she is heading straight for the jeep at an extremely fast pace. You find your self struggling to stay on her but your determination keeps you on.

“Keeping chase huh,” the person on the back of the jeeps yells. “I hope your Charizard there can handle the pressure,” they add before taking a black pokeball and pressing a button on it. With a flash of red light a Charizard appears before the person. You can see the person tell it something before it lunges straight at you and Ramoth, you gulp with nervousness as you try to think of what to do.

Once the Charizard is inches away from you Ramoth makes a quick spin to barely dodge the out stretched claws of her opponent. It swiftly recovers and dashes once again at Ramoth only to be dodged for a second time as Ramoth surges forwards to keep pace with the jeep. She manages to get some good distance between her and the other Charizard as well as hovering right over the jeep. Remembering her orders she sends a flashing bolt of light straight at the vehicle causing it to entirely light up with electricity. This attack causes the jeep to come to a stop with black smoke coming from its engine. Before you have any time to react to this you hear aloud sound from behind you.

“Cccchhharrrrrrrr,” you hear and you franticly look behind you to see the opposing Charizard heading straight towards you. Ramoth soon notices it but it is too late as the fiery creature crashes into her body at a great speed. She lets out a roar of pain as the force of the attack sends you flying off her back. You hit the ground hard before you feel a jolt of pain go through your body and then your mind goes completely black.

Your eyes slowly flutter open and you find your self staring at the blue sky. Your mind is foggy and you do not have the slightest of clue of what is going on. You look around scared and confused because your memory is completely blank you have no clue of who you are. Your eyes soon notice a golden dragon staring at you and it starts to walk closer to you but you quickly back up in fear thinking that it has something to do with your lack of memory. It gives you a startled look and you hear laughter coming from a nearby jeep.

“Scared of your own pokemon, kid?” he laughs and you reply with a silent and puzzled look. Seeing that you have no clue what is going on the man jumps off the jeep and looks at you with a big smirk on his face. “You lost your memory right?” he asks and he seems quite pleased when you nod your head to confirm it.

“You are a proud member of team Legendary the whole goal of our group is to capture a legendary pokemon or any pokemon we can get out hands on. We are mean and steal at whim, it does not matter if it has a trainer or not,” he tells you with a chuckle. You frown slightly thinking that this those not sound like something you would do. “Anyway you were flying on your Charizard and you happened to fall off from quite a height and hit your head. You must have hit it pretty hard because all your memories are gone but that is not too much of a problem,” he tells you. You still are not fully comfortable with what he is telling you.

“Char, char, char,” the golden Charizard suddenly protest while shaking its head rapidly. It seems quite upset at the story the man is telling you. You wonder why your own pokemon is reacting like this. Completely angered your Charizard lunges straight forward with a violent cry only to be stopped by another Charizard who you guess belongs to the man.

“I forgot to warn you that your Charizard has slight problems. It reacts strangely to situation and often uses violence. Don’t be influenced by its nonsense and help me stop it. I don’t think it will accept being called back to its pokeball so you better use one of your other pokemon,” he tells you while his Charizard struggles to hold back its opponent.

You are quite confused about the situation and wonder if it is best to trust the man but with nothing else going your way you don’t have much of a choice. You want to learn more about yourself and the only answers may come from the man under attack right now. You will need to help him to get answers even if it means going against your own pokemon. What will you do?

OC: You have no memory of anything even your pokemon you must keep that in mind, also Espeon is still in the cage on the jeep so you can’t use him. You do still have basic knowledge of things like the names of pokemon and their attacks.

Curiosity starts to come over you as you wonder what is does but you do not have much time to think about it as the battle is about to begin.

Kain makes the first move by suddenly disappearing and reappearing right behind Roselia with a glowing blue fist. While he launches his icy punch a strange sharp sound comes to your ears and while it does not seem to have any effect on Kain Roselia responds by doing a graceful spin to dodge his attack. The punch does brush against the Roselia’s side having a minor effect on the grass pokemon who responds by launching several seeds straight at the vulnerable Kain. While all this is going on you wonder about the sound that you just heard earlier. After that sound went out the Roselia dodge Kain’s attacked and launched its counter attack. It seemed that it responded to the sound. You suddenly look at April with her fingers poised on the wholes on her flute and her mouth ready to blow into the instrument. It suddenly comes to you that the sound came from the flute and it must be a way of communications. Before you can react to your discovery another sound similar to the first rings through the air.

The Roselia replies with a sound of its own, a much different sound then the one from the flute. This one is sweet and calming and seems to have a great effect on Kain as he slowly falls asleep to the melody. Right away you realize that, that attack was Grasswhistle and with Leech Seed’s vines rapped around your pokemon he was slowly lose energy as he slept. Despite the type advantage you are in a very sticky situation.

“Good battle so far,” April randomly pipes in. “This is my battle flute if you are wondering, me and Roselia have worked ages on this technique. It will have no effect on you or your Pokemon but if you wish for me to not use it I will understand,” she adds in. What will you do?

Ricco wasn't too happy with the results. Being Leech Seeded, as well as asleep; this obviously wasn't a good position for him. Not only that, but all of the orders were given by flute alone. What can he do? He had to think of something fast!

"Kain hang in there!" Ricco shouted.

He thought there had to be a way between the limited moves within the situation and her flute relaying all the orders. He couldn't just get Mawile to follow the flute, but he didn't want to stop her either.

"You don't have to worry about the flute." Ricco said. "Play it for the whole battle if you want. I'll make it through."

Ricco then thought of a plan, while not great, would probably get him somewhere till he found the duo's weakpoint.

"Kain, use Sleep Talk for as much as you can till you wake up!" Ricco said. "If you have an extra move to use, then take that advantage with Blizzard!"

Ricco knew that whatever Sleep Talk did, could either increase, or decrease their chances of winning. However, Ricco was out of options already and he had to get back on track if he hopes to win this battle!

Kami surveyed her tired team. This round they had managed to knock out a Fearow and injure another, but their job was far from done. With four Fearow remaining and depleting energy supplies, this was going to have to be a heck of a battle. Kami tensed. She had to come up with a strategy and fast. Just hitting each of them at random wouldn't work. With her Pokémon becoming more and more tired, though, she'd have to work fast. Thinking through her team's attacks, Kami quickly formulated a plan. Since the rest of her team was currently tired, she first decided to release a fresh helper.

"Hakusa!" Kami cried as she threw a Leaf Ball into the air, releasing her adorable Chikorita. "Okay guys, we've got some more help," Kami motioned toward Hakusa, "but you still need to fight your hardest. This time, we are going to attack with a strategy. We are going to try to debilitate these mean birds before attacking them! Bibuki start off with a Screech to deafen them, and Vincent blind 'em with a Flash. Hakusa, use a Poison Powder to poison them. Karasu fire off two Confuse Rays at two different Fearows right after your teammates attack. Then, Vincent, hit them hard with a Psybeam. Bibuki follow up with a spray of Pay Day. Hakusa finish up with a Leaf Storm!" Kami relayed the orders quickly before turning again to check on the wild Murkrow. She hoped this worked.

Seeing how it looks like there’s a conflict brewing, Zach orders Persephone to try and prevent the oncoming attack, as well as the little thieves from escaping. The Paras shakes her little mushrooms as she blows a Stun Spore first at the Roserade, which immediately begins to take effect. Its arms slouch and the Grass Knot vines fall harmlessly limp on the ground. The Roserade seizes up and stops in its tracks.

Persephone then turns on the Oddish and Cherrim, quickly wiping the smirks of the giggling thieves’ faces. The Stun Spore also immediately begins to work on the pair, making Oddish drop the rest of what appears to be two other berries they had also stolen.

Thinking that the crisis had now been averted, Zach sighed and calmly began to assess the situation. However, the paralysis did not seem to stop the three strange grass pokemon. First the Oddish and Cherrim began to squeak “Odd!” and “Cher!” loudly in their little voices, and then Roserade chimed in with an angry “Rose!” Zach clenched his teeth nervously as he and Persephone looked on, clueless as to why the pokemon were doing this.

However, it soon became apparent as more rustling was heard in both directions, and soon enough, several other pokemon emerged into the clearing. Behind the Roserade were a Roselia, a Bellsprout, and a Carnivine, while behind the Oddish and Cherrim appeared a Sunflora, a Bellossom, and a Shroomish. You could tell that by the time they noticed the state their comrades were in, they were angered.

Luckily for Zach, they did not come to the conclusion that it was because of Persephone that they were paralyzed, and so some angry grass pokemon-type words were exchanged between the two groups. After a few moments of heated words, the two groups gathered up their injured friends and headed off back into the underbrush.

“This isn’t over, you know.” Zach jumped at the voice, because it was in his head. He looked down and Persephone was poking an egg with one of her claws. It was an Exeggcute communicating with you through telepathy. “It’s only a matter of time until they hear from their friends that you were the ones who paralyzed them, and despite the fact that you didn’t start the fight, I’m sure they’ll want revenge. The group that the Roserade was with is called the Thorny Vine group, while the Oddish and Cherrim’s friends are the Solar Spores. We’re from neither group, but a group called the Sun Soakers who want to restore peace in this land. The Thorny Vines and the Solar Spores have been starting up a war for dominance over the land, which may result in loss of the land’s natural beauty if things keep up. If you come with us, you can help us bring peace to this senseless fighting. Besides that, I’m sure you’ll be ambushed long before you can manage to get out of the Rose Garden anyway, and it won’t be pretty.”

As the Exeggcute communicates with you, you notice that each sentence, the voice is slightly different, as if the different heads switched off telling their tale. Either way, you come to a conclusion that they’re all completely and utterly insane. They sound more like sports teams than anything. Do you dare risk getting ambushed and try to make a quick exit out of the Rose Garden and head elsewhere, or should you follow the Exeggcute to wherever its headquarters are and see this through?
To add to the craziness of the current situation, what with feuding grass pokemon families and throwing in this psychotic-looking Exeggcute into the mix, Zach's head was practically spinning from all of the information overloading his central nervous system. With his Paras still dumbfounded at the ground, seemingly in a similar state of mind of her trainer, Zach began to wonder whether or not he should, as the Exeggcute put it, risk running out of the Rose Arch, or seeing this rather odd turn of events to the end. Weighing his options, Zach figured that if he did leave, he could be missing out on a rather interesting adventure, despite how odd it could be, but also thought that it could get rather nasty.

A few moments passed, with Zach looking at the ground contemplatively, and Persephone having taken to staring at the Exeggcute. More time passes...more time...and a few more minutes before Zach spies the Exeggcute, probably having been staring at him for around ten minutes now waiting for an answer.

"...Fine. I'll go. I may be crazy, but perhaps I need a bit more unpredictability in my adventures."

Jerichi: Space Path- please reply in Gold
Haji is delighted that you and both Matt and Will decide to follow along, and enthusiastically turns around to lead the way, Rotom hovering overhead. The ghost pokemon lets off a soft glow which lights the way for everyone, which is useful due to the fact that there is no moon out that night, thus making it pretty dark.

As the five of you walk, Haji briefly explains his duties around the temple and how devoted his people are to worshiping the god of space at the shrine. After a while of walking, some lights are seen up ahead, the signs of civilization. The village is fairly small as the group arrives, and it appears that the focal point of the town is the temple. The buildings are golden like the road, that being the one of the few materials the people have to build with out this far from any other civilization. The streets are lit with odd looking street lights that are illuminated by strange gasses, much like Rotom is.

Haji waves at a few townspeople as Tetsu, Will, and Matt follow behind him. The temple appears pretty big on the outside, but seems even larger on the inside, being just one large room with a massive statue in the back.

The statue is very old and made out of stone, but seems to have a distinct glow to it. The statue is of a very large dragon which is sitting down, its arms rested at its side. Even as a statue, its eyes seem to be piercing, and it doesn’t take long to realize that this is of none other than the legendary dragon, Palkia.

Haji begins by humming some archaic prayers, and then blesses the statue. He then pulls out a bucket from the corner of the room and dips a cloth in the water, which seems to be glowing some. It might be holy or magic or something to them, but a scientist would conclude that it was simply harmless phosphorous in the water. Haji then flings water at the statue in a ritualistic way, and Tetsu, Will, and Matt simply watch on as he does so.

Their attention is then caught as a man comes screaming into the temple. “Haji! Haji! You must come and see! Someone has taken the Orb, and now the sky is shifting!” Haji immediately stops what he is doing, a look of complete horror on his face. “The Orb?! Oh no how could it?”

The man, Haji, Tetsu, and pokemon all dash outside, and the sky has suddenly been lit up, with glowing light streaking across overhead, almost like the famous aurora borealis at the northern hemisphere on Earth. Due to the illumination, it’s much easier to see now, and Tetsu spies something speeding off in the distance, heading away from the town, and further up the space path. Should you pursue it, whatever it is? Act quickly or it could get away into the depths of the unknown.
After all this peaceful ritual, the sudden fuss gave Tetsu and his Pokemon quite a shock.

“Haji! Haji! You must come and see! Someone has taken the Orb, and now the sky is shifting! The Orb?! Oh no how could it?” shouted a man running in.

With that Haji stopped what he was doing, and his face turned from a solemn facade to a terror-stricken guise. Both he and the man ran outside, eager to see the strange event that was taking place. Tetsu quickly followed, as this panic piqued his curiosity. Looking skyward, he could see that a splash of glowing light had been painted on the sky reminiscent of the Aurora. Gazing further out into the distance, Tetsu espies a figure far off, flying away at a high speed down the path.

"Hey, Haji, look down that way!" Tetsu told, pointing to the rapidly retreating thing, "It may have something to do with the sky shifting! Hurry, let's chase after it before we lose sight of it!"

Without another word, Tetsu took off with his Plusle and Minun scampering along side him.

Sorry for the slight delay, guys. Vacation plus mild sunburn plus bad cough plus more vacation equals busy/distracted Gary. xd Enjoy =o

Another Fan: The Land of Shadows
Ecstatic to be reunited with his long lost Magnemite as well as being offered a way to escape this hellish land, Jeff takes the map and studies it carefully. He asks John if he would like to accompany him, but locked in the tough decision, John is unresponsive, so Jeff tells John he can catch up is he wishes to follow, and makes his way back in the direction of the previously exploded town.

After a good while of walking, luckily downhill this time, Jeff arrives at the ruins, a cold shudder of recent memories crossing him. Wanting to pass them quickly, he locates his position on the map and walks around the perimeter of the ghost town to find out where this second path lies. About a quarter of the way around the city clockwise takes Jeff to this path, and he embarks upon it, hoping to rid himself of this place once and for all.

Like all stretches between landmarks in this world, as Jeff heads down the path, he walks, and walks, and walks some more, so much so that he could walk no more and collapsed on his knees. Taking a look around, the terrain was somewhat different than what he was used to, but also still the same. The sky was completely dark and overcast, and aside from the narrow dirt path, the ground was covered in waist deep grass. There were not towns or castles or anything to be seen on the horizon. Batteries loomed over Jeff’s head curiously, but the trainer simply collapsed on the ground out of exhaustion.

Some hours later, Jeff squinted his eyes. It was bright, very bright. Getting up, Jeff fully opened his eyes. What was this, sunlight?! Yes, it must have been morning now, and the sun was shining brightly as it rose into the sky. In fact, he could see it, a clear blue sky. At least in the horizon, there was daylight; overhead were still the ever gloomy dark clouds. The clouds seemed to simply stop up ahead, almost as if the painter of the great ceiling in the sky had decided to go for a change of scenery. Rousing Batteries, Jeff hurried up the path to head into the land not tainted by shadows.

There was an immediate calm about the land, and there was even green vegetation in the vicinity. The sunlight felt warm and Jeff jogged ahead as the path went up a hill. Jeff’s eyes lit up as he reached the top, and a grin broke out on his face. On the other side of the hill lay a grand city, modern, and with neatly paved streets and shops of all sorts. There were a few taller buildings as well, but not as tall as skyscrapers. A few specks could be seen moving around; people were beginning to go out and about as the day had begun. Ecstatic to find civilization, Jeff ran down the hill to the outskirts of the city. A sign read “Welcome to Silden City!” Jeff looked up and down the sunny streets as people had begun to open their shops for business. Maybe there is someone in this town who knows how to get back to the Cloud Garden. What will you do?

Zach and Persephone listen as the Exeggcute tells them the story about the feuding grass pokemon clans, and are faced with the option of risking a dangerous exit from the Rose Garden or helping out the third party seek peace. Weighing his choices for a moment, Zach nods and concludes that he and his Paras would like to help out.

The Exeggcute all bounce up and down, “Great, please follow us then; we will take you to the Sun Soakers’ headquarters where we will plan out our next move.” The eggs bounce in single file through the hedge, and Zach and Persephone follow, as the Exeggcute leads them through the labyrinthine Rose Garden, going through countless more hedges. After a few more moments of walking, Zach spots a large head poking over the top of the hedges before it ducks back down. Exeggcute leads you through the hedge to where the head was, and on the other side is a large, walled in clearing. The head turned out to be none other than a Tropius, keeping lookout for the group.

“I’ve brought some who would like to help our cause,” Exeggcute announces and the other grass pokemon in the clearing gather around. There is an Exeggutor, some Hoppip, Seedot, Nuzleaf, and many others. The Exeggutor stepped forward and spoke telepathically, “Alright then, now that we’re all settled, let us plan our move for tonight. Our best option would be to infiltrate the Thorny Vines and the Solar Spores separately and take out their leaders quickly before we arouse the wrath of each of their entire clans.” The Exeggutor turns to Zach. “You may choose which clan we attack first, and with your expertise, we will send with you a stealth squad to use at your disposal. Come forward, Stealth Force Alpha!” Out of the crowd, a Grovyle, Nuzleaf, and Leafeon step forward and give a quick bow. Exeggcute bounces forward as well, adding on, “We will accompany you as well in order to translate and communicate with some of the grass pokemon we might encounter.” The Exeggutor nods solemnly. “Please be careful and good luck.” The sun has almost completely set now, as time has flown by fast. You can choose to go to either the Thorny Vines or the Solar Spores first. What will you do?

Dae-Maker: Comet's Corner- please reply in Red
Eager to help out, Grey formerly introduces himself and agrees to come along, noting that Ambrosia can be of use as well. Sayu grins, replying, “Great! Let’s go then!” Reaching back up to her hairpin, she plucks off a second pokeball, tossing it to reveal in a bright flash, a large dragon pokemon, Flygon. She grabs Grey by the hand and hastily helps him aboard her Flygon’s neck, mounting the dragon as well, and the dragon roars, taking off over the cliff side.
“Woo hoo!” Sayu cheers, as the Flygon plummets downward, Grey holding on to Ambrosia and the Flygon for dear life, but then notices as Xanotic darts by them quickly, grabbing the Flygon’s antenna with his talons, followed by glowing as they all begin to Teleport.

The trainers and their pokemon re-emerge in a different area, but the terrain isn’t all too different from before. “Sorry for the short notice,” Sayu giggles, “But that never gets old for me.” Her Flygon hovers in the air, slowly flapping its wings, as Xanotic circles above. Looking up, the sky has turned a bright red, stemming from a bright light that looks like a small sun. In actuality, it was a meteorite, speeding right at them.

“Go, Xanotic!” Sayu calls out, and the Xatu begins to use a Psychic, making a faint blue glow appear around the impending chunk of rock. Ambrosia chimes in, blasting up an Ice Beam, which makes the meteorite slow down slightly. The Flygon then maneuvers out of the way a bit, and Grey can clearly see now how it has blasted its way through the atmosphere, and is seconds away from impact.

However, Xanotic’s Psychic picks up some, and with Ambrosia’s help, it stops just feet from crashing into the earth and smashing into billions of bits. “We did it!” Sayu calls out, and the Flygon descends toward the meteorite as it falls harmlessly to the ground.

Xanotic then chirps out in pain. “What? Xanotic?” Sayu questions and you all turn around to see a Honchkrow smacking into it hard with a Faint Attack. You, Ambrosia, Sayu, and Flygon then cry out in pain as you are stricken with sheer chill hitting you like a brick wall. Flygon is dazed and plummets toward the ground, having taken the brunt of the Ice Beam. You then black out as the speed and the cold have gotten to your head too.

“Grey! Help!” It was Sayu’s voice. Opening his eyes, Grey looks around to see Flygon knocked out on the ground before him, and Xanotic beyond it, knocked out as well. The Xatu must have made a last ditch effort to buffer their fall with his Psychic powers, which were too much for him to handle. Ambrosia was unconscious as well, but not entirely fainted. Grey then looked up to see Sayu bound, helplessly trying to get free. She was on top of a gigantic mammoth, or as Grey’s pokedex confirmed, a Mamoswine, fiercely barring its tusks, while a buff man in a leather jacket and cowboy hat sat behind her. He was holding the meteor in his hand, and you conclude that his pokemon must have cooled it off. In his other hand was Sayu’s pouch, which she had on her and must have contained some of her gems.

“Another brat, huh? Do you have any gems too?” He leans forward, taking a closer look at Grey and then laughs, “No way, you look like a damn tourist, ha ha! Well then punk, if you know what’s best for you, don’t follow and go back home!” Sayu screams but he silences her with a handkerchief and the Mamoswine turns around, walking away. The Honchkrow flies overhead, before kicking up a chilling Haze. By the time it clears, the poacher and Sayu are long gone, and the Mamoswine’s tracks are barely visible. Xanotic weakly struggles to get up but fails, severely injured.

Grey then spots something shiny near where they had crashed, and weakly stumbles over to it. It’s Sayu’s hairclip, with Xanotic and her Flygon’s pokeballs still attached to it. Dare you go and rescue Sayu and retrieve her pokemon, or head back now, from wherever you are?

Muyotwo: Cloud Forest- please reply in Limegreen
Sizing up Paul’s Lombre, Muyo quickly decides to send out his shiny Bulbasaur, Dewdrop, who sparkles as she is released from her ball. “And here we have it folks, Paul’s Lombre versus Muyo’s shiny Bulbasaur! An interesting match up, let’s see how it pans out in battle!” the announcer declares over the microphone. The ref nods, raising both of his flags. “Combatants ready… fight!” He waves both flags down, and the battle commences.

Muyo and Paul both quickly give out orders to their pokemon, the Lombre charging straight at Dewdrop head on, as she spins around quickly, whipping up a small whirlwind of a Swords Dance. Lombre fires a Water Gun off at the Bulbasaur, but Muyo’s plan proves successful as the water jet is dispersed upon contact with the spinning Dewdrop. Lombre then continues its charge, starting off heading straight at Dewdrop, but as she retaliates by Whipping out her Vines, Lombre disappears and hits her from the side, Astonishing the unsuspecting Dewdrop. However, she quickly regroups and ensnares Lombre with her vines and lifts it over her bulb, blowing out a Sleep Powder at it before throwing the dazed water lily into a tree. The impact seemed to have woken Lombre up and negated the sleeping effect, but it was still a little woozy from the powder, as it gets back to its feet slowly. Lombre finishes by waddling around awkwardly on its feet, breaking out into a Rain Dance.

“Uh oh folks, looks like you’ll be needing to break out the umbrellas soon!” the announcer exclaims. Lombre took a moderate hit with being thrown into that tree, and is a little woozy from the impact as well as the powder. Dewdrop took a minor hit from the Astonish, and used up just a little bit of energy. She seems to have taken the advantage so far, but what will happen as the rain picks up in the rounds to come?

Sneasel12: Sky Gate- please reply in SkyBlue
The Espeon and Umbreon hiss in irritation as Michael calls forth his Houndoom, Joe to accompany Marissa the Duskull in battle. The arch their backs defiantly while Michael gives commands to his pokemon, while Fletcher nervously eyes the imminent battlefield and its surroundings.

Joe and Marissa howl and hiss as they are ready to battle, and charge at their opponents. Marissa begins by charging up a Shadow Ball, while the Espeon charges up one in unison. Both pokemon unleash their attacks, and the Shadow Balls collide with a small explosion, canceling each other out. Espeon then gives Umbreon a Helping Hand, making Umbreon glow with power as Joe rears up in front of his dark opponent. Joe fires off a Flamethrower, but the attack misses as Umbreon disappears. It reappears a moment later, Faint Attacking its way behind the Houndoom, and uses its boosted power to strike Joe with an Iron Tail for moderate damage. This gap leaves Marissa time to launch a clear hit Dark Pulse on Espeon, dealing a bit of damage as it hisses in pain, and Joe recuperates by hitting Umbreon with a Fire Spin for moderate damage. Deciding to take additional damage, the Umbreon leaps through the circling flames and Taunts Marissa with some nasty words just before she is about to use Dark Void. The enraged Duskull loses concentration and turns to face the Umbreon. Espeon finishes by Calming its Mind, preparing for another attack.

Umbreon took a hit with the Fire Spin, and used a little bit of energy this round. Espeon took a bit of a harder hit from the Dark Pulse and used up a little bit more energy this round as well. Marissa took no damage at all but used up a little bit more energy than Espeon due to the consecutive high powered energy attacks. Joe used about the same amount of energy as Umbreon and took a hit from the Iron Tail. Marissa is looking pretty pissed and Espeon is looking pretty focused.

The sun and the moon are even closer to collision now, practically tangent to each other now. Who knows what might happen during the eclipse. What will you do?

Thinking quickly, Tetsu points out the fleeing figure to the panic stricken Haji, and runs after with along with his Plusle and Minun pair. Haji quickly follows, running alongside Tetsu. “A burglar?! This is not good at all! If the Lustrous Orb falls into the wrong hands, who knows what kind of chaos and destruction could ensue!” He recalls his Rotom back to its ball, due to hide the glow it was giving off.

Maybe in a fortunate twist of fate, the glowing lights in the sky that seemed to be impending doom lit up the desolate terrain enough for the two to see the figure in the distance still. “The can’t be going… there…” Haji moaned in a hushed voice. Picking up on Tetsu’s curiosity to the comment, he added, “Up ahead is the Temporal Tower, said to be the place where the god Palkia rests. Those who enter are said to not return. I fear they will try to provoke Palkia and capture it! We must stop them from rousing Palkia any further at all costs!”

After a few more moments of pursuing the figure, the two lay eyes on a monstrous tower in the distance, and the figure stops at the base of it to rest. “Now’s our chance,” Haji whispers as they slow to a creep upon approaching the tower as well. Hiding behind a rock, Haji stops Tetsu for a moment. “If we can stop them now, then we can retrieve the orb before any damage is done and return it to its rightful place.”

Peering out from behind the rock, Tetsu takes a good look at the figure. It’s a pretty heavily built man, who has long, spiky red hair and has a big black jacket and spacey black and white outfit on. There is an insignia on the front of the jacket which looks like a futuristic “G”. It would be a good idea to try and stop him before he enters the tower. What will you do?

By the way, Gary, this is one of the most imaginative adventures I have had as of yet. Thanks.

Grey felt extatic that Sayu wished for his accompaniment along her hobbiest adventures. And, with a great rush, he jumped up along side her on the gorgeous Flygon, remembering his own behemoths smooth skin and graceful acrobatic skills. But, it was Sayu's direction that took him for a turn - a direct nose dive off the cliff wall was certainly an unexpected way to begin their gem quest. However, the thrill of the ride soon entered Grey's mind and they were off as Xanotic teleported them to the site of the falling meteor.

When they arrived, it appeared as a mass of blazing energy, red hot from atmospheric friction and glowing serenly as a missile from deep space. Grey watched, fascinated yet slightly terrified, as they appraoched the shooting star as if pulling through a fast food restaurant. Sayu, obviously having much experience, instructed her Xatu to slow down the meteor with a Psychic. Seeing his chance to help, Grey also told Ambrosia to use her Ice Beam to slow and cool it. The plan acutally seemed to work, to Grey's continued surprise, as the hardened gem did not shatter upon its soft disposal. However, their shared glee was soon cut short as an attack began. The suddeness of the Honchkrow's moves and the vicious Ice Beam from the towering Mamoswine were both unseen, and all members plummeted towards the ground injured or unconcious.

Grey awoke to the sound of screaming, the only source being Sayu's voice. Shaking his head to clear the irritation and jolting sensations, Grey looked around to see a raider-like cowboy sitting astride a huge beast. Both Sayu's flyers were incapacitated thanks to their efforts to save lives. Ambrosia was breathing shallowly and was bearly concious as well. Without so much as a wink, the cowboy rode off with Sayu on his saddle and the gem in his possession. After the Haze had cleared, Grey began to pull his stranded toughts together.

"Damn it!" he swore vociferously at the plains. They had worked hard to get that gem, and now Sayu was in danger, along with their prize. Knowing he had no other option, Grey decided to chase after the bandit and set things right. He removed a Super Potion from his bag and used it on thrids on Xanotic, Flygon, and his precious Ambrosia. He knew that it would dilute the efficacy, but at this point, he had no other options. Then, picking up Sayu's hair needle, he planned on recalling the two fallen comrades. He also withdrew Ambrosia's Premier ball and recalled her to sleep; rest was her most vital ally at this time.

"Don't worry girl, we'll get him," Grey said quitely to the ball. Then, as he discarded the bottle, Grey removed yet another device from his belt, a Heavy Ball. With a rapid toss, a Steelix emerged in a glint of white light, rearing to go.

"Ok Obsidian, we have some work cut out for us. Let me up on your back and we're chasing after that guy. Use you sensitive abilites to track the heavy footfalls of the Mamoswine. If you feel up to it, we can even Dig and tunnel our way for faster travel. When we catch them, and we will catch them, we need to safely secure Sayu and take out that behemoth. Try to barricade their advancement by coming up in front of their path. We'll see how it goes from there. If he should attack, have a Dragonbreath at the ready."

Grey knew that he might need reinforcements for the battle, especially to help remove that Honchkrow's involvement. Only time would tell, and he was determined to force some answers from its great passage.

She seems to have taken the advantage so far, but what will happen as the rain picks up in the rounds to come?[/size]
Muyo looks on as Dewdrop flawlessly executes her orders, and apart from a momentary wince when she's astonished, the round is a great relief. Despite not battling before, Dewdrop is holding her own like a consummate pro, and watching Lombre dazed from impact, Muyo grins, formulating a plan to put the battle out of reach, like a playoff spot for the Miami Heat. "Excellent opening Dewdrop, but we can do better than that, can't we? While he's still groggy and stunned from the tree impact and being knocked out of sleep, nail him with your Double Edge to slam him back into the tree. That'll knock the wind out of him and give you the opportunity to latch onto him with your Vine Whip again and hurl him into the air as high as possible. When he lands, land right on top of him with a Body Slam. With your Swords Dance boost, you should be able to pretty well cripple him this round, so don't lose focus!" Muyo smiles at his determined Dewdrop. Envisioning the round to come in his head, Muyo can't help but smile. Unlike for the Mavericks, round 2 shouldn't prove too hard to get to...

Well, he found where he was on the map and showed it to Batteries. The metallic pokemon appeared to analyze, though the fact that its eye kept looking up at Jeff and back at the map, made this detail uncertain. Either way, it followed Jeff, while the boy followed the map’s path.

Jeff was fidgeting a bit. Having put on a barely adequate tough guy act to the other guy, he was starting to feel pangs of guilt and remorse for leaving the way he did. The other one obviously had an idea of what he was doing, right? The group had fizzed out much earlier too. Nothing could really have prevented this; the cruel environment here mocked the survivors while showing no respect to those it killed.

A melancholy reminder of this came when they reached the ruins of what used to be the town. Flying Girl’s body was somewhere in there. One of the boy’s was as well. Jeff cringed; he held back before, but come on, he didn’t come here alone. Now most if not all, are certainly dead. He sat down, put his head in his arms and cried. Batteries on the other hand, surprisingly enough, did not. A spark did jump off of it though.

Well, Jeff got out a bottle of water (disgustingly warm), got up, looked at the map and going a bit around the ruins, turned off towards what hopefully was the right way to go. He walked like this until finally, with no end in sight, lied down on the ground and slept. However few hours of sleep, Jeff got, any rest was worth the stop. Batteries surveyed the surroundings.

Jeff’s eyes opened to a light that made his tired eyes awaken. It appeared as though morning had hit this land again, how the land’s daily cycle went, Jeff did not know, though it seemed like now would be the best time to get up. Today was a fantastic day. He could see how the skyline in front was lit by the sun, and although gloom was there behind him, in front he saw only prosperity. On the hill where he had fallen from exhaustion, there was greenery and merry light. He got up and ran up the hill, but stubbed his toe on something very. Rather badly too. Batties’s optic sensor flickered on, as it turned up its antigravity, pulling in Jeff’s backpack towards it.

Batteries floated a bit, before Jeff put him back into the electric ball. â€Twas a nice ball, the electric ball, his parents found a good deal on one. His parents spoiled him, really, but it was practical. Jeff plugged in a battery into the electric ball, hoping to feed Batt a bit after the journey and packed it in his backpack.

Now, he jogged up the hill and in a moment of ecstasy, forgetting all the worries and tears from the day before, Jeff grinned blissfully as he had found civilization, working, decent civilization.

Jeff ran down, reading the sign and looking around. He became embarrassed of his disgusting condition momentarily, but taking it in stride; he brushed off some of the dust off his clothes. He looked at the nearest street for shops; anything decent would do, a grocer, a clothes store, something. If he were to find one, the smartest thing to do would be to inquire whether this town had a bureau of tourism of some sort, an information booth for the city of some sort or if not that, at least a market square. He decided to do just that.

After a bit of running, Haji and Tetsu came upon the large tower where ther legend Palkia was said to reside and to which the figure had ran. Before them, the Temporal Tower stood imposing and ominous over the stark land as the colorful lights in the sky reflected eerily off of the surface of the building. “Now’s our chance,” Haji whispers to Tetsu, creeping towards the structure as not to be seen.

“If we can stop them now, then we can retrieve the orb before any damage is done and return it to its rightful place.” Haji tells him.

Tetsu nods shortly, and takes a better look at the thing near the tower. From what he can see at this distance, the man looks quite burly yet somehow futuristic in his chrome suit with the strange "G" on it. Tetsu reaches for a Pokeball at his belt. Plucking a Moon Ball from its place, he expands it, and releases the Pokemon as silently as possible. Out of the ball comes a pig-like creature in a black cloak, who gives an stoic grunt upon his appearance.

"If we're going to stop him, we should act fast." Tetsu whispers to the two of them. "Saix, I want you to Teleport to that man at the tower and try to stop him with a Psychic."

The Grumpig nodded absently, and began to do his trainer's biddings.

Michael watched the fox-cat Pokemon counter most of his moves, leaving him pressed to think up a plan. "Well... that was... bad..." Michael mutters to himself, trying to think of something but not having much success. "Hmm..." Michael mind raced, not knowing how to deal with two opponents at once. "Joe, use Beat Up and get the clones to distract them while Marissa uses a Focus Blast on Umbreon." Michael kept an eye on the eclipse that was about to happen, trying to figure out what was going on. "Okay, after that, both of you use Flamethrower on Espeon, and then Marissa use a Hidden Power Bug on Umbreon." Michael stared up towards the sun and the moon, slowly getting distracted by the lunar and solar beings.

Lost sleep over these last night, so be happy. xd I know some of you are doing it, but when battling, if you could please bold your attacks, it would make it a lot easier for me to read. Thanks

Jeff gazed down upon the waking town and decided that his best possible course of action would be to find an information center, so he recalled Batteries to his ball and ventured down the other side of the hill and into the town, planning to ask for directions to an information center.

Upon arriving on the main street, the first store Jeff came across was a quaint convenience store. He walked up to it, opening the door as it chimed a little bell. He stepped inside and look upon the aisles of food, toiletries, and various other necessities he’d been so long without. There was a young lady at the cashier behind a counter, who looked half asleep still. It seemed like it must have been a family-run shop, and it was her chore to open it this morning. “Hello and welcome to King Convenience,” she says idly and then looks up to see who her customer is. Noticing that Jeff is not a familiar face from this small town, she inquires such. “Oh, are you a traveler? What brings you to these parts? We haven’t had any visitors to this town in ages…”

Jeff tells her it’s a long story, unsure how she would take in tales of evil Natu and psychotic overlords and such, and simply tells her that he would like to find an information center or tourist bureau. “Hmm, well like I said, we don’t get visitors that often around here, so we don’t really have a tourist center in this town, but I’m sure if you asked around at the city hall, you could get some sort of information…” the girl replied, “It’s just down the street, in the center of town. It’s a big building, so I can’t imagine you’d miss it.”

Jeff thanks her for the help, and seeing how depleted he looked, the girl handed him a packaged breakfast pastry as a parting gift. Jeff thanked her again and quickly gobbled it down as he heads out the door and back onto the main street.

Like the girl described, the city hall was nearly impossible to miss, located in the middle of town, next to a peaceful looking park. It had a large dome for a roof and a banner across it that read “City Hall.” Jeff walked inside and a receptionist behind a desk greeted him with a “Good morning.” Jeff returned the greeting and then asked her about the Cloud Garden and directions how to get there.

“The Cloud Garden, huh? Well you’re actually not too far from where you’re headed, you see, Silden City is just to the North of the Northern most reaches of the Cloud Garden. However, our town is also quite far away in a sense, as there is a very steep mountain range that separates us from the Cloud Garden, keeping us in the valleys to the North and keeping the Cloud Garden, well, up in the clouds above the mountains. It’s a treacherous path to take if you’d like to find your way all the way up there.” Jeff sighed at the receptionist’s news, the terrain of this land getting the best of him once again. He thanked her for her information, and she handed him a small map that showed Silden City and some of the surrounding mountains. She pointed out that the Cloud Garden was above and beyond the tallest mountain to the South, called Emperor’s Peak.

“I wonder how I’m going to get up past Emperor’s Peak…” Jeff mused to himself, knowing he didn’t have the pokemon, the supplies, or the physical shape to make it up such a rugged trek alone. “Emperor’s Peak?! No problem!” Jeff turned his head to see who had said that. It was a rather round man with messy red hair and a tight pair of trousers. There was also a kind of clean aspect to him as well, a jolly disposition that Jeff could trust, unlike some certain strangers he had met in the past. Maybe it was this whole town that seemed benevolent, Jeff thought to himself.

Jeff asked him if he could get up to Emperor’s Peak, and the man nodded repeatedly. “The name’s Archie, and I run a hot-air balloon business! Come with me, and I can show you my balloon!” Jeff followed him out the door and back up the main street once again, still heading in the same direction to the opposite side of town. After turning once onto a side street, they ended up literally on the edge of town, where there was a new-looking barn. In front of it was a large wicker basket that had a metal frame to top it; the cockpit of a hot-air balloon.

“There’s a small village on the other side of Emperor’s Peak,” Archie began, as they came to a stop. “I can take you there easy, and from there, you can take the mountain path over to the Sky Gate. It’ll just cost ya a hundred bucks for the ride.” Jeff bit his lip; he didn’t have any money on him at the moment, at least the kind of currency that was used in regions near the Cloud Garden. Explaining the situation to Archie, he pondered for a moment. “I know just the solution! If you can find me ten Leppa Berries, I’ll take you. There are some berry orchards on the Eastern side of town, so maybe you could find them there?” It might be risky though, as you can’t just go over to an orchard and pick all the berries you’d like; that’s poaching. Maybe you could strike a deal with the owner of the orchards, unless you have some berries in your pack already. What will you do?

Dream Breaker: Rose Arch- please reply in SpringGreen *REPOST*

Dae-Maker: Comet's Corner- please reply in Red Thanks, I'v really enjoyed writing this adventure so far too. xP
Enraged by the capture of Sayu and the theft of the meteorite, Grey quickly recovers Ambrosia, Xanotic, and Flygon with some of his Super Potion. Seeing as time is of the essence to make his rescue, Grey formulates a stealthy tactic and sends out his massive iron snake, Obsidian the Steelix. Mounting the behemoth like a staircase, he sits at the base of Obsidian’s cranium, on one of the large boulders that make up the pokemon’s body, and orders him off in pursuit.

Obsidian quickly, but also carefully as to not scrape his trainer on the earth, Digs under the ground, powering his great head through like a bulldozer. Lucky for the pair, they did not have to immerse themselves in dirt for very long, as Obsidian breached through to an underground cavern, and Grey quickly brushed himself off.

Regaining their bearings, the two carried on, further into the cavern in the direction that they believed the bandit and his Mamoswine had gone. It did not take them long for Grey’s plan to become successful, as the thunderous footsteps of the Mamoswine could soon be heard faintly above, and Obsidian pushed on, as to get some distance in front of them.

Grey then nodded at Obsidian and braced himself, and the Steelix charged up to the roof of the cavern, springing out onto the surface like a Jack-in-the-box. “What in the hell?” The bandit roared, the Mamoswine rearing up for a minute before stomping back onto the ground. “You little brat, I told you not to follow us! Go Mamoswine, use Blizzard! Honchkrow, use Dark Pulse!” He shouted, pointing at Grey and Obsidian.

The Mamoswine trumpeted and blew a sharp, icy wind at Grey and Obsidian, but the Steelix anticipated this and countered with his fiery Dragonbreath, the heat from his flames negating the chill. The Honchkrow then cawed and blasted a dark beam of energy at Obsidian, which seemed to have little effect on his tough, steel body, but knocked him back off of his balance for a moment, and Grey was thrown from the great iron snake’s body, landing on the ground.
Grey quickly got up and dusted himself off, and looked at the Mamoswine. The bandit was seething, and Sayu seemed relieved, but also had a panicked look in her eyes that wished Grey hadn’t come, for his own safety. It would be tough to attack the Mamoswine without somehow harming her in the process.

“Well I warned you, but now I’ve had it! I’m gonna take you out!” the bandit yelled, pointing at Grey. “I will destroy you and your pokemon for meddling in my business!” With the Mamoswine tough to attack due to Sayu’s position, Obsidian seems in a bit of a predicament. He hasn’t lost much health, and has used just a little bit of energy. However, it might be advantageous to either send out another pokemon as well, or one of Sayu’s pokemon. What will you do?

Raring and ready to go for the next round of battling, Muyo cheers on Dewdrop with some encouraging words and gives her some commands for how to act next. She quickly nods, while Paul tries to shout life back into his own Lombre, an ominous sign for what was to come. The two pokemon square off as it comes time to continue the battle.

Lombre holds up its arms in defense as Dewdrop charges at it, and wildly slashes its arms, trying to fend her off with a Fury Swipes. One of the hits seems to graze the Bulbasaur as the two collide, but Dewdrop and her pumped up stature seem more effective as the Lombre is sent sprawling into a tree. It lets out a cry of pain as it collapses onto the grass, and Dewdrop hustles over, ensnaring it with her Vine Whip. She then lifts it into the air, and in an act of desperation, the Lombre fires off a Water Pulse, which misses Dewdrop completely. She then slams the water lily onto the ground and takes no time in pouncing on it with a crushing Body Slam. The Lombre writhes in defeat, as chance to continue battling seems hopeless for it, much like the citizens of Seattle’s chances of having a professional basketball team next season.

“Lombre is unable to continue battling! Dewdrop the Bulbasaur is the victor!” The referee raises the flag on Dewdrop’s side into the air, and the audience erupts in applause. **Level up for Dewdrop!** “Well there you have it folks, we’ve got quite the contender here! Knocked out her opponent without taking more than a hit or two, Muyo and Dewdrop will proceed onto the next round!”

Muyo recalls Dewdrop back to her ball and proceeds back into the stadium concourse, where the trainer’s lounge is. In the back wall, there is a small Pokemon Center kiosk, and he hands Dewdrop’s ball to the Nurse Joy, while she replenishes the Bulbasaur. Once reclaiming her, Muyo takes this time to take a breather and sits down at a bench before the big screen televisions. The next match has already started, and it’s some Cherrim versus a Poochyena, and the Cherrim appeared to have the upper hand. Muyo then glanced at the trainer board, where it listed the brackets of the matches to come.

Upon seeing his name, it had already progressed a length into the bracket, while Paul’s name had been erased. On the new corner where his name sat, across from it was the name of another trainer, Simon Thurston, who had won the match before his. They were on only the fourth match of the day now, so it would be a while until the next match.

Looking around the room, Muyo decided to get better acquainted with his surroundings. There was the big screen behind him, where he could watch the matches going on, the pokemon center across the room from him, which he had little use for at the moment, the soda fountain, where maybe he could get a bite to eat or something to drink, and finally a small area with supplies that he could use to groom and prepare his pokemon. Looks like you got plenty of time to kill before the second round of battling begins. What will you do?

Sneasel12: Sky Gate- please reply in SkyBlue For future reference, it would be a help if I knew what your active team was when you use Beat Up next time. xd
The two cat-like pokemon seemed as aggravated as ever, and in a moment of curiosity, Michael noticed that the eclipse was ever imminent. Michael turned his attention back to the battle at hand and encouraged his Duskull and Houndoom. He then gave each of them their commands for the Espeon and Umbreon, who seemed to be ready to keep going. Joe and Marissa nodded in acknowledgement and readied themselves for battle as well.

Joe started things off by summoning some of his allies to Beat Up on the opponents. Out of the shadows appeared the silhouettes of two Pichu, a Snover, and a Murkrow, which charged at the Eon pair. In order to shield Espeon from the brunt of the attack, Umbreon darted forward and took the four hits for minor damage, while the gem on Espeon’s forehead began to glow. However, this left Umbreon wide open, as Marissa launched a Focus Blast at it, dealing quite a bit of damage. Both Joe and Marissa then turned their attentions on the Espeon, who was still charging up for something. There seemed to be an importance in what Espeon was doing, because as Michael’s two pokemon both began to spew Flamethrowers, Umbreon quickly darted in the way with a Faint Attack and took both attacks. It scowled at Joe and Marissa as it protected Espeon with its life. It then used Faint Attack once again, as Marissa changed up to fire off a bug type Hidden Power, but this time used it to dodge her attack and get out of the way. It panted heavily and looked over at Espeon, who was now finished with its Sunny Day.

Michael, Joe, and Marissa had to shut their eyes as it suddenly got very bright out. The sun had intensified immensely, and the moon was now in front of it. The eclipse had begun. When the light had died down some, Michael opened his eyes to find that the Espeon and the Umbreon had transformed. The were bigger, bulkier, and faster looking, kind of like a miniature Anubis, each of them. Umbreon’s rings and Espeon’s gem were both glowing luminously and they cried out to the sun and the moon. To Michael’s dismay, their wounds began to heal as Espeon had used a Morning Sun and Umbreon used a Moonlight to let the eclipse heal their wounds.

The battle has taken a turn for the worse, as the Espeon and Umbreon appear to be super powered now, and on top of that, fully recovered. Meanwhile, Marissa and Joe have taken no damage this round, but both, especially Marissa, have used up a bit of energy. “So this is the power of the Joining of the Skies,” Fletcher mumbled out loud. The situation looks bleak, but Michael believes that the cats are still beatable. What will you do?

Tetsu realized his window of opportunity to stop this thief was open for a short amount of time, so thinking quickly, he pulled out a pokeball, releasing his cloaked Grumpig, Saix. He didn’t take any time in hesitation as he told come commands to the pig, and Saix nodded in obedience.

Saix disappeared a moment later, Teleporting over to the mysterious man, just as he was finishing with his break and about to walk up to the monstrous tower. Before the man could realize what was going on, Saix’s eyes began to glow, pushing the thief back with a Psychic attack. “What in the hell are you?!” he spat in annoyance. “Are you trying to pick a fight or something?”

On this cue, Tetsu and Haji ran out, over to the man, and Haji shouted, “Stop, thief! Give us the Lustrous Orb back! You don’t realize the danger you’re putting everyone in by taking it!” The man stopped and laughed. “So you’re the rats who called this hunk of bacon on me! Of course I know what I’m doing, and there’s no way I’d give the orb back to a pipsqueak like you!”

“Go Purugly! Tear â€em apart!” He pulled a pokeball off of his belt and tossed it in the air. Moments later, a rater large cat appeared, hissing as its tail swished in the air. “Take that Grumpig out, you know what to do!” Purugly let out a low “mrow” and disappeared. It reappeared behind Saix a split second later, slamming into the Grumpig with a Faint Attack, knocking Saix to the ground.

This cat may look heavy, but its speed shouldn’t be underestimated. Saix took a decent hit from its attack too, so be cautious. With no other choice, it seems that you’ll have to fight this criminal if you’re going to want to get that orb back in safe hands. What will you do?

<ooc> I don't know what attacks Xanotic has, but I've used ones previously mentioned and one I'm assuming the bird has learnt already. </ooc>

"Damn it!" Grey roared in pain as he was thrown from the back of his iron snake. That Honchkrow definietly had to die now. Some people would have considered such a declaration has melodramatic or unnecessary, but Grey would have dismissed their foolishness - the situation could easily turn dire and he had to protect Sayu. However, Grey also recognized that this menacing bandit was an honest threat and that maybe, just maybe, Obsidian would need some help. Grey's hand hovered over the Moon Ball at his belt, preparing to unleash his very experienced Noctowl, but he hesitated just for a second. Then, withou knowing why, he grabbed Xanotic's pokeball and released the healing, but still weak, totem bird.

"Xanotic, I know I'm not your trainer, but I am trying to help set her free. Please, help take out this guy and she'll be safe. What I want you to do is fly over to where your mistress is and use a Psychic to free her. Then, use a Teleport to get over to her, latch onto her, and get back over here the same way. If anything tries to stop you, give it a dose of your Nightshade. I realize that you're tired and need some rest, but she is your trainer - your friend and council - help me help her."

Then, his impassioned plea over, Grey turned to Obsidian, knowing that his faithful and trusthworthy Steelix would commit. With a glint of fierceness in his eyes, Grey spoke up, "Obsidian we need to work together to get this done. I want you to use a Rock Throw at that stupid Honchkrow - try and pin it down. Then, wait for Xanotic to get Sayu clear of her captor, and unleash an Iron Tail right to the side of the beast. Follow that up with a Fire Fang to an ice tusk or leg. Let's get it done. Oh, and if that damn bandit happens to fall - don't catch him."

Yes, Grey realized that it seemed somewhat vindictive. But, he had fallen too, so all was fair as long as Sayu didn't get hurt.

Surveying the last round's actions, Muyo can't stifle his reaction as Dewdrop finishes Lombre off, letting out a loud cheer before rushing onto the battlefield to lift Dewdrop and give her a hug. "You did fantastically, Dewdrop. You bashed him so good that not even Tim Duncan could complain about the officiating," Muyo says with a grin, before returning her and turning his attention to the rude Mr. Peanut. "Guess you could've used some of that luck after all, eh Planter mah boiiiii?" Muyo questions with a slight smirk and a raised first finger, "Give that Lombre some more time to grow and I'm sure it'll be great next year." Muyo turns and retires to the stand, checking out another first round matchup before looking up at the big board. "Simon Thurston..." Muyo rolled the name over in his head for a moment, letting his head hang over the back of his chair. "Ah well, not much I can do about him right now," Muyo thinks with a shrug, idly releasing the still newly evolved Taki. "Ah HAAAA ha!" the Hitmontop calls as he twirls lightly on one foot, raising the other two up over his head in a ballet-like spin. Muyo stares at Taki with mild disbelief, "...you aren't always going to be like that, are you?" he asks as Taki concludes his spin with a manly pose, before looking side to side to see who all he had impressed. After concluding that there was nobody else around, Taki looked at Muyo expectantly. "Um... very... manly." Muyo manages to stammer, and Taki's face lights up in joy, starting another spin before Muyo grabs him and kindly suggests that they check out the pokémon preparation area to get ready for Taki's... "Hitmon-DEBUT!" Taki shouts, striking another pose. This time Muyo doesn't even turn, dragging Taki along as the 'top pirouettes with two legs up once again...

With a new feline foe in front of him, most would expect Saix to react, but he simply stood and waited for orders as the Purugly disappeared. He stood equally as still as his newfound foe reappeared and smacked him with an aura of darkness. Unable to keep his stance, he fell to the ground, and lay there, unmoving.

"Saix, be careful! This cat is no joke, even if it does look slow! Get up, and quickly hit it with an Extrasensory! While it's distracted by all the screwing with it's senses, go in for a quick Zen Headbutt! Then, back off and push it away with a Psybeam if you need!" Tetsu ordered.

With that, the Grumpig righted himself and flung off his hood, revealing eyes which had a faint white glow to them with his pearls exhibiting the same eerie radiation. Closing his eyes, he prepared himself for battle...

Re: The Cloud Garden

Sorry for the latenss.

Jonouchi: You tell April that you are fine with the flute and she replies with a grateful smile and a nod. You realize that there is very little you could do in this situation so you order Kain to do Sleep Talk and hope for the best. The Roselia then starts rushing over to him as he starts to mumble something in his sleep. Suddenly several tear drops fall from his eyes as he attempts to pull off some Fake Tears. Roselia momentarily stops due to crying but this proves no real advantage to Kain since he continues to sit in place while continuing mumbling some words while his sleeps.

The sharp sound of the flute then rings through the air causing Roselia to suddenly release a wave of rainbow colored leaves. They crash into Kain’s defenseless body causing him to be knocked over. You then notice that the Magical Leaf attack has cut the vines that have been sapping away at Kain’s health witch brings one positive to this battle. The main problem though it seems like Kain is much more of a deep sleeper then you expected since he is still asleep after being smacked by the last attack.

The sound of the flute once again runs through the air and this time Roselia lifts her rose petals above its head. Soon you notice the sun’s energy is gathering up in them which can only mean one thing a Solarbeam attack. You urge Kain to get up since you fear that if that attack strikes the battle is as good as over. Kain then lifts up your body which pleases you but you are soon disappointed that he is still in his lifeless sleep. He just stands there with his body swaying back and forth unaware of the great attack being charged right in front of him.

Roselia lowers its flower with the energy pulsing and showing of its might. Kain takes this moment to launch is next attack from Sleep Talk. He starts to charge straight toward Roselia which surprises the plant pokemon who seems confused by Kain’s straight forward attack. During this pause Kain manages to attach his large jaws around the Roselia’s slim body. It struggles to get free but after no luck it decides to launch the power it is holding in its petals. The beam is launched and due to close range it blows up right into the faces of the two pokemon as well as covering the whole battle field with dust.

Once the dust clears you notice both pokemon lying on the ground in a dazed state. They both struggle to stand up and you can tell that both of them have taken a heap of damage by the amount of effort this is taking. Luckily Kain is finally awake but you know he won’t last much longer in this state. Then Roselia is also in a similar condition and although the battle is almost over both pokemon have a good chance at winning. What will you do?

RS: Seeing that you could use some extra help you release your Chikorita to aide in the battle. You then give out your orders just as the three uninjured birds come charging at you while the injured one glares at you from its spot on the ground. As the birds get near you Bibuki opens his mouth and lets out a horrifying sound causing the Fearow to stop in their tracks and let out squawks of disgust. Vincent then releases a powerful flash of light causing the birds to just stay put in mid air while being sprayed by a purple powder by Hakusa. Your battle plan is working perfectly so far.

Karasu then launches to beams of light of his own hitting two of the defenseless birds. In confusion they fly around aimlessly but they have learned their lessons this time as neither of them try launching any sort of attack. While they fly around Vincent launches a rainbow beam at the idol Fearow causing it to fall from the sky and lie still on the ground in pain. Bibuki tries launching a Pay Day attack but his coins miss the flying Fearow as the accidentally dodge the attack through confusion.

Hakusa then prepares himself to launch a powerful attack and begins to lunge forward but stops and looks up at the sky in fear. You look up to see what is wrong and you soon also fill up with worry as you notice the many Fearow gathered up in the sky, you have no clue how many but there seems to be over 50! Panic runs over your body as you struggle to think of what to do. Despite your great strategy you just used you know there is no way you can fight that many pokemon. With only one thing to do you close your eyes and hope for the best.

As you struggle to open your eyes you realize that your whole body is filled with pain. You slowly sit up and examine the bruises all over your body. Despite all the pain you realize that you could have been put into a lot worse situation then this with the amount of Fearows that just attacked you. Your thoughts then drift over to your pokemon and you desperately look around hopping that they are alright. To your disbelief all four of them are gone and the only pokemon left is the Murkrow you saved earlier. It is still knocked out but the strange glow from earlier is gone. You wonder how the bird managed to survive this last attack but soon forget about that as you realize there are more important things to tend to like finding your pokemon. What will you do?

Kami watched excitedly as her Pokémon attacked the Fearow. Her strategy was working nicely. The Fearow were all confused and being attacked by her Pokémon. But when Hakusa was about to fire his attack, he stopped and instead turned his gaze to the sky. Kami's heart nearly skipped a beat. Up in the sky were over four dozen Fearow! Kami surrendered, she and her Pokémon could do nothing against this many. She held her breath and squeezed her eyes closed.

She opened her eyes and found herself in deep pain. There were bruises all over her body. Trying to be optimistic, Kami told herself how much worse it could have been. Then she remembered her Pokémon. The girl bolted straight up. But to her dismay, none of her Pokémon were in sight. "Vincent! Hakusa!" the desperate trainer called out for them, "Bibuki! Karasu!" Her eyes fell on a black bird. At first she thought it might have been Karasu, but then she realized that it was the foreign Murkrow. Kami looked at it in disbelief.

'How could it have survived that attack?' she wondered quizzically. But now was not the time for that, there were more pressing matters. Kami stood up and brushed the dirt off of herself. Gazing into the distance Kami didn't know where to begin looking for her Pokémon, but she'd try. The trainer decided that if she could she'd keep going down this path in search of her missing Pokémon. She looked once more to the Murkrow. Kami couldn't possibly catch it, but she couldn't leave it here to die. The young girl walked over to it. 'Murkrow are light, I can carry it,' she thought to herself as she bent over to pick it up.

Ricco watches the battle unfold, and while Kain finally recovers from the sleep, both of them are close to being knocked out. This wasn't a good point for Ricco at all, but he had to think of something quick, otherwise the battle was over. He couldn't afford another close range attack, so he had to go long distance to win this.

"Kain, try to hang on!" Ricco shouted. "I know your Sleep Talk failed, but we have to work our win from our mess-ups, right?"

Ricco had to think of a plan quick, and sure enough, he thought of something.

"Fight back with Blizzard, then use Faint Attack to get behind it and bite down with Ice Fang! Try to hang on as hard as possible!"

With Roselia's small health, around the same as Kain's, he has to fight hard and fast. Kain wasn't going to last long, but he had to make the most of it before they lost!

"You're pretty good, even though the blast got both of us in a bind." Ricco said to the girl.

He had a bit of a feeling that Roselia might use a healing move, but he had to do everything to stop Roselia from getting to that point. Ricco sighs as he watches the battle continue.

The bell chimed as he entered the small convenience store. Jeff had calmed down a bit since finding the town. It felt so surreal being in what was obviously a normal society, after such a disparate journey. The fact that this town seemed so blissfully unaware of the treacherous landscape and creatures lurking so near was reasonably unnerving, but Jeff was still in decent spirits from having found the town. He glanced at the products, hoping to see any familiar brands, but no luck, all seemed local, so Jeff still had no idea how far it was from the Cloud Garden.

As the counter drew closer, Jeff realized how late it was. Whether he admitted it or not, he could tell that perhaps morning shift was not doing the cashier any favors when it comes to beauty. She automatically churns out what likely is the standard line of welcome at the store,

“Hello, and welcome to King Convenience,” curt, but polite, however, once getting a glance of Jeff, some curiosity must have been sparked as she asked, “Oh, are you a traveler? What brings you to these parts? We haven’t had any visitors to this town in ages…”

“Oh, uh…” Jeff stammered a bit, the situation was odd. He couldn’t be bothered to go into details, he just explained, “I’ve uh… been hiking a long while, could you please point me to your nearest information center? Or like, a tourist bureau?” Any information helpful or useful is such places, he got used to going there when traveling.

“Hmm, well like I said, we don’t get visitors that often around here, so we don’t really have a tourist center in this town, but I’m sure if you asked around at the city hall, you could get some sort of information…” the girl replied, “It’s just down the street, in the center of town. It’s a big building, so I can’t imagine you’d miss it.” She handed Jeff a uh… muffin, I assume? It is sort of hard to tell with those packaged pastries. Apparently, Jeff looked a lot more haggard than he realized, but he tore the plastic wrap and inhaled the thing as he nodded in thanks while exiting.

Now, the walk to the centre of town was not much compared to most cities, but it still took a while. Nevertheless, as mentioned before, City Hall was simply down the street from the small convenience store. A small park was in front of the hall, the closest thing I guess this tiny burg had for a plaza, which provided a decent walk for Jeff, but also a place to catch his breath.

Once more, his thoughts dwelled on the city. His traveling companions were dead, killed by a genocidal freakshow less than ten kilometers from where he was standing. Yet, this town, was perfectly normal, though rather small and functioned as any other. Not even a word or guess from anyone as to the reason behind Jeff’s disparate condition. Jeff lied down on what was a hopefully clean bench, but not for long.

The City Hall apparently, despite being a fantastic looking building with a large dome, could not afford a permanent fixture as a sign. Either that or it was reconstructed as one after being built, since a banner denoted it as city hall. Still, as he entered it, its foyer was impressive, so he looked around a bit before getting up the receptionist’s desk and asking for directions and methods of getting to Cloud Garden.

Apparently, Cloud Garden was hanging up in the skies above the Northern Mountain Range. In fact, the simplest way of getting there would be to climb up the highest mountain there. Now, Jeff had hiked before and hiked again, but mountain climbing was out of the reach of possibility. It meant death. It meant freezing to death while eating your own pokemon for food and suffocating while doing so. He hide all distress from the receptionist, to whom he only responded with a melancholic sigh. Having sat down on another bench, he pondered,

“I wonder how I’m going to get up past Emperor’s Peak…” Apparently, his mind was a bit idle, as not only was that one of the most pointless thoughts he had had in a while, he, by sheer stupidity and force of habit, had said it not only out loud but rather loudly. As consequence of this, someone heard him and responded, much to Jeff’s surprise. A jolly voice startled him from behind,

“Emperor’s Peak?! No problem!” The statement came from a rather plump man, who had a certain charisma that at least made him seem trustworthy. So, with simple curiosity as well as a hopeful ideas, Jeff asked, in the most soft-spoken was he could muster,

“Well, how would you go about getting up there?” To that, with a humble nod, the man responded,

“The name’s Archie, and I run a hot-air balloon business! Come with me, and I can show you my balloon!” With that, he was off. Jeff kept up, seeing as he was really intrigued now. The walk took a while, as the man’s balloon was held in a barn on the outskirts of town. By the time they had reached it, Jeff was a bit out of breath, and it was taken again once he saw the basket of the hot air balloon, sitting out in the front of the barn. Nonetheless, Archie was quick to get to the point, which was nice, as Jeff was dreadfully excited,

“There’s a small village on the other side of Emperor’s Peak,” Archie began, as they came to a stop. “I can take you there easy, and from there, you can take the mountain path over to the Sky Gate. It’ll just cost ya a hundred bucks for the ride.” This wouldn’t have surprised Jeff otherwise, such luxurious trips always were costly, but he had not thought of price until that very moment. Biting his lip, and then stopping in order to speak, Jeff explained,

“Although my parents would have easily paid now usually, I uh… stuck. I do not have any of your local currency, and certainly not the amount necessary in mine, I guess I bid you farewell, but I thank you for your generous offer.”

Now, the fact that this service was even offered to him in such a way, proved Jeff hopeful. He was going to find a way to cross the mountains, but he was not prepared at all for the next offer, as Archie suddenly thought out loud,

““I know just the solution! If you can find me ten Leppa Berries, I’ll take you. There are some berry orchards on the Eastern side of town, so maybe you could find them there?” Benevolence and extremely expensive berries were apparently a staple of this town. Jeff couldn’t say no to this,

“Thank you, sir! Thank you! I’ll do my best to get those berries for you as soon as I can!” He got excited again, now all he had to do was a hundred dollar’s worth of labor for the owners of the orchards. If they even were up for such a deal, that is. Either way, he was prepared to go there, find someone who could lead them to the owners and discuss, how he, being in his situation could provide enough service for the owners to be so kind as to give him ten, freshly grown leppa berries.

Sheilding his eyes from the light of the eclipse, Michael looks to see the horrific sight of the eon pair having taken a new form of what appears to be a small Anubis. His horror only grew as the pair began healing themselves of their wounds. "Of course..." He mutters to himself, figuring that it's just his luck that such a problem would come up. Trying not to let his hopes sink, Michael stares down the situation momentarily before jumping to a crazy plan. "Joe, distract Espeon with a Beat Up to get help from the Pichus, Snover, and Zubat. Then start Leering Umbreon so that it doesn't get in the way. Marissa, fry Espeon with a Zap Cannon and then let loose a Dark Void to calm down those behemoths. Maybe a little sleep will get them to relax."
