Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
And maybe this is all being taken far too seriously. It's Pokémon, not rocket science.
The bottom line is simple. We provide you with coins and you choose how to spend them. If you think spending something between 10 & 50k every once in a blue moon is going to bankrupt you for the next millenium then by all means steer clear of the TCG Corner. God, we wouldn't want to be responsible for ruining your life *shudders* TM training doesn't play that large a part in Contests. Oh noez! I've given away a top level confidential seecrud! CfP's Pokémon are pretty much going to be the first priority for many members. Can this possibly be true? Yes, it be true! Sarcasm isn't nice, is it? Wonder why it is that some people become so frustrated with others? Off the topic of coins, Casino, TCG, TMs, Contests... We are now discussing TRAINS! And my promotion *dances all the way to the bank* I like work. Real work gives me a nice sense of achievement.

I'd rather spend my coins on a Leafeon than a train. >_>

Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
Yeah well, make sure you post in the Evo Zone as soon as you get your Eevee *glances sideways at Arn*
Well, not immediately. Please teach it a couple of helpful offensive moves first. Tackle, Tail Whip, and Helping Hand make for a rather boring battle *huggles the little brown furballs*

It could've been worse ... Magikarp could have had an EvoZone evolution.
*cue Arnold's favorite Pokemon flash file*

PWNFREE is a rare BUG-type POKÉMON. PWNFREE can only be obtained by evolving a METAPOD that was caught as a METAPOD.

Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
Zora, if your choice of capitalization was meant to mirror the games, you overdid it by one: it's POKéMON (presumably because É's accent wouldn't fit back in the original games which weren't coded with an English localization's needs in mind).

Lots of people appear to be dissatisfied with FB.
I dunno about you, but I'm happy with the current system. Things don't need to go at a fast pace all the time.\ Am I the only one like this? |

Maybe some competitions, like the Wings of Seraphim or whatever it was called back at SPPf could spark more interests.

Blah. I hate school. It really does suck that all I have time do anymore is to glance over what's going on in the ASB and FB and stuff. Hopefully I'll have more time during the summer. Speaking of which, I'll reply to your update soon Tess, I really haven't had a chance. :/ And finally, Talon's post faintly reminds me of communism. :O To the Committee on UnAmerican Activities! *fades away*

Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
Right as I finished it, it smacked of Communism to me, as well. :x I'd prefer to put the spin on it that it also reminds me of John Lennon's Imagine. ;D
Zora: "Imagine no possessions," eh? Guess you won't be needing that dream of having six Hoppips anymore, sir. Talon: Guess you won't be needing to sell your Swablu. Zora: Touche, Talon. Touche.

Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
Funny you should bring that up. I just watched the 8th Pokemon movie over spring break -- it was surprisingly good! I recommend it even to people who hate Pokemon movies as I do! -- and there's a part in it where Lucario asks Ash if he's Pikachu's master ... and Ash's response of "No, that's silly! Pikachu and I are best friends!" really irritated me. I realized I was having a Shinji/Paul moment right there. XD I just wanted to holler at Ash and say, "No, you idiot, you're both his friend and his master. You can be friends with your Pokémon, but they're still your Pokémon and you're still their master. No matter whether you have a great working relationship or not, 100% of the orders are issued by you -- never by your Pokemon -- and they follow those orders 100% of the time. I'd call that a Master-Servant relationship, bud. :P"

Re: The Secret Time Out Files Part 3
Eww. I can't exactly call the 8th movie horrible when rubbish like the 7th exists, but I hated it. It felt as if someone had found a discarded script for a totally unrelated movie, then realised "Hey, if we swap a couple of words with the names of Pokémon, we can save actually having to do anything this year!" It also fails for taking the legendaries with the most interesting backstories, and doing absolutely nothing with them.

Hey, Zora, does your caterpie know any special moves, or is it promised to someone? Because, if not, once I unlock my PC, I'd be happy to take the little bugger off your hands for you.

It's sort-of-promised to Talon as soon as Tess finally relents and opens the "Gender Reassigment Surgery".
