I know I was able to basically beat the shit out of a Slowpoke with Thief.

Also, Aipom isn't that bulky, yes, that's why the added Eviolite padding helps it.

Doduo should get some type of "Two-head" ability where it attacks twice

Wherein we learn why it's called "Focus Miss." (Doubles Random Battle; 5 turns)

Spoiler: show
Most people would've complained or said something rude by Turn 5. Not this guy. He was the sort of player I would like everyone to be: mature, calm, and polite.

But seriously, wow. Focus Blast missing not once, not twice, but three times? And of only three uses too! He never once got it to hit. Three swings, three misses. The odds of that are only 27 in 1,000 or approximately 1 in 37. Not astronomical, no, but come on. Poor guy.

So, I decided to dabble a bit in Gen VI OU again. A team that's not really fancy. Aegislash, Rotom-W, Mega Venu, Scizor, Garchomp, and Landorus.

So far I'm 15-0 on my Shadoll alt. I think I'm doing pretty well.

You'll notice my XY OU record is terrible. This is because messing around with ingame Gen5 team without an alt.

^ this is literally why MegaCham is the best offensive Mega right now. Like dead serious, if you haven't tried it, do.

This is just plain my favourite Mega to use.
This thing's raw power and decent all-rounder Stats allow this thing to pack a punch and take a hit, as long as it's not particularly powerful, that is <.<

Although, I prefer to use it in Scolitrain Clefpass Chains so as to give it +4-6~ in all Stats except Sp. Att and a Sub 'x'
Outside of Whrilwind, Infiltrator, and the such, that is just godly.

... Well, last time I played it, haven't actually used MMedi in a while, started to try and go MHera, although that thing is proving less than it.

So, I thought I was still a ways away from making it into the Top 100 for Random Doubles.

Apparently not. O-o Apparently I've already made it to 8th place on the entire server.

Now if only I could claim this with Random Singles ... :'D Oh well.

At the rate you're going, I can see you in #1 within a week or two. Unless you get a huge streak of bad luck or something.

So Talon's success made me want to try out Randoubles. This was my 4th game in

Spoiler: show
Yay, a 6-0~! Although my opponent clearly didn't understand how Sap Sipper works, or was just forfeiting the last turn? I dunno, but that first Zebstrika switch-in was more luck than anything, I didn't actually know it had Sap Sipper at that point ^^;

I think I set around 1350 for doubles. I always get screwed with things ground/water weak and things that only have Surf or EQ.

Wherein Weezing proves what a worthless and pathetic excuse for a Pokémon he is. (Random Battle; 9 turns)

Faux cruelty aside, watch this battle and you'll see what I mean.

Spoiler: show
One paralysis, fine. Two in a row, whatever. Three in a row, that's when I start to sympathize and don't mind it when other people complain. Four in a row, that's when I start to complain aloud.

... but FIVE in a row!? That's just wrong. What the fuck sort of bullshit is that that I don't get a turn five turns in a row when each moment of paralysis is supposed to only have a 1 in 4 chance of occurring? The odds are literally less than 1 in 1,000 of this happening. COME ON. Obviously 1 in 1,024 is a real statistical likelihood that we would expect to happen to 1 out of every 1,024 players. But maaaaaan. D: Why did it have to be me?

Thankfully, he apparently had to leave for urgent business or something -- out of nowhere he just said "gg" and jetted -- and so I got the win by default. But that's no way to win! So I decided to have a little fun with that, for your guys' entertainment. I hope you were amused.

The rage

Spoiler: show
So, I start off this match kind of poorly, but manage to force MegaBlaze out on a missed Stone Edge. He sends in Kecleon. "Great!" I think. I outspeed and have Focus Blast and Shadow Ball in case he goes Dark or Ghost. My first Focus Blast misses. Understandable, it sometimes does. Then I lock up for Paralyzation. Then again. Then again. At this point I'm peeved but don't complain or anything. I manage to pull things back around, and his MegaBlaze misses a HJK, and a few turns later his Vaporeon misses Hydro Pump. He proceeds to moan about it. I explain that I've had far worse luck, but apparently mine was "just a Grumpig" Yes, a Grumpig that countered Blaziken and probably could've taken on that annoying Slowbro. And as the win becomes apparent to him, the "xD" and "lol"s come out.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just overall pissed at my poor luck streak over the past few games (bring me from 1860 to 1760), but this person irked me in a very wrong way.

Why I dislike Cosmic Power Clefable

My team simply can't run Roar or Whirlwind since it messes with the synergy. So games are almost always reduced to crit-fishing.

The thing is, your opponent had it coming. Once he went past 2.5x boosts, he was being stupidly greedy and just asking to be critically hit. Everyone knows that PS is a crit-happy server (even if the programmers swear to the stars that crits are no more common on PS's server than they are in the official games), and the matchup was poor: strong, Steel-typed Aegislash vs. vulnerable Fairy-type Clefable. Had it been Clefable vs. Scrafty, okay, maybe. But Clefable vs. Aegislash, he was just asking to lose.

See its weird because the amount of Clefable I see with a Fairy move and not Stored Power surprises me. I just don't like the set and the or the very idea of it. I have three answers to Clefable, and none of them either have the power to break through or like taking a Stored Power to the face.
