My first evolution was when Hedwig evolved into Golbat. As my team currently stands, there's only one other evolution that will happen- that would be Cotton into Slurpuff- and for that to happen, I would need a Whipped Dream. And an open Cable Club, for that matter.

I'd love for my first evolution to be my beloved Naoki (Deerling/Starter Pokemon) but I have a feeling it's either going to be Pumpkin (Hoppip) or Fenris (Houndour).

I'm fairly certain mine was Palaho (Mandibuzz) but I'd hardly count it, as she was at evolutionary level when I traded for her; I really just pulled the trigger on it.

Kai (Vaporeon) followed very closely, and was really more of a true evolution on my part.

IMO, nothing wrong with evolving something as soon as you get it if it meets the criteria. That's what I did with Stewie- he was a Shadow Ledyba when he came to me, but I figured his character worked far better as a Ledian, and he was already level 20 when I got him, so I closed the trade and evolved him all in one post. I don't always do that, of course- when I traded for Gold, I could've evolved him straight from Totodile to Feraligatr right there, but I didn't. Gold's kind of a special case- I'm actually his original Trainer, but I traded him away years and years ago due to PC space constraints, always kinda regretted it. Skip ahead to when CB contacted me about possibly trading to get him back, I jumped at the opportunity. Kept Gold as a Totodile for a little while, RP'd with him in that stage a bit before evolving him.

My first evolution was my Houndoom, Joe. Granted, I have very few evolved 'mon, but I am happy my starter was the first.

I'm not entirely sure what my first evolution was. It's dependent on what you'd consider counts.
I had my starter, Rags, evolve directly from a Ralts to a Gallde by throwing a Dawn stone at it while it was prepared to evolve. I wrote my AR reply in June in which I threw the stone, but I figured it was the updater's choice on whether my action was successful so I had to wait until January before I got my confirmation. In that timelapse I had my Kong evolve from a Slakoth to a Vigoroth (in a Visionary Glade story I have yet to write).
So I'll leave you to interpret what was technically my first evolution but I like to think the choice of evolving my starter was the first.

I mean my first evolution is my only evolution, Hypno, who I'd evolved in the Visionary Glade. I plan to evolve a few more pokemon there at some point but my inner completionist-freak wants me to make sure I get ALL OF THEIR LEVEL UP MOVES FIRST before I even think about evolution. That's why, even though I have all three required stones for them, I haven't evolved my monkeys yet.

Cool, not bad so far. I've been giving consideration to the idea of expanding my Secret Base as well. In fact, before the mods stepped down, I had this idea to expand it massively to the point where it's more like a small indoor city than a house, so that I could offer to update people in there when zone updates were scarce (though it's still open to visitors regardless- the idea was to add more variety to the place). Might still expand it in any case, though- haven't decided yet.

I don't really plan on joining the Discord channel- I've never really been too fond of that kind of thing, personally, and I was never really active in the old Skype chat either. I may change my mind about this sometime in the future, but for now, that's how it is.

But yeah, poor Puck. I'm half-tempted to have Pomona just come barging into the Bar just because she'll sense that someone in there needs a friend.
