There’s so many reasons, but the main one is that it just sticks out like sore thumb when compared to the other Eeveelutions. I know Pokémon has progressed over time but I still felt like Glaceon and Leafeon fit in well with the earlier gen evolutions (as did Tangrowth, Togekiss, Yanmega etc). I really don’t think Sylveon does and I just can’t imagine it evolving from Eevee – it reminds me of a fakemon too much. I can’t really put into words my dislike for its design but here are a few things I hate about it:

• Awful pink colour scheme – I’ll agree with the general consensus that it looks like a Milotic
• Its bow is too far up its neck, making it look kind of awkward and taking attention from its face
• Too feminine looking. At least you could say for the others they looked gender neutral.
• Its eyes: They're HUGE and creepy. Also they're an unnatural shade of blue, while the other Eeveelutions use more subtle colours.
• Those ribbons. Besides making it look overdesigned compared to the other Eeveelutions, the way its right ribbon often clings to its right foreleg whenever its stationary in the gameplay video just looks weird and unnatural to me.

I’m not saying it’s the worst thing Gamefreak have come out with (that honour probably goes to the Tympole line) but for me it’s a step in the wrong direction.

Looks pretty good. Mewtwo is already ridiculously overpowered, so I'm wondering what this new form will bring to the table.

EDIT: Oh, it might not be a new form. I have a hard time believing this thing evolves from Mewtwo, but it's way too similar to be a completely new 'mon. I'm betting on it being a new form.

Legendaries don't evolve. My bet is on Mewthree. At first I thought it was a forme but they don't usually introduce formes before new generations.

The thing there was that Manaphy's big gimmick was that it hatched from an egg you got. Therefore, it had to produce its own eggs, but they didn't want a limitless Manaphy supply. So they made Phione for its eggs to hatch into. /boring

I'm guessing either a form or (less likely) new 'mon that's related to it.
