Always been Bulbasaur for me, which is why I have one for ASBL. I don't plan to ever evolve it. Second is Umbreon. I couldn't recall seeing a black Pokemon before, and I guess the combination of gold + black made it look cool to me. Plus, it was a Dark type which at the time had that mysterious, scary quality to it.

My most favorite pokemon of all time has always been Scyther. First seeing it in game, I thought that it was just so bad ass that I had to have it on my team. During the Gold/Silver/Crystal games, it was always a main part of my team since I could more easily catch it at the Bug Catching contests.
After that, Guardevoir is a definite second. A Pokemon that beautiful, elegant and loyal was simply something to love. Finally, going back to my love of things bad ass, Blaziken is certainly my favorite starter evolution. The combination of Fire/Fighting was awesome and I loved the moves I could give it, plus it's design was just too awesome. |

Shroomish.
Want to know why? Shroomish wouldn't be half as awesome as it is if it had facial expressions that were any different to the one above. In fact, any Pokémon can be improved by changing its expression to the Shroomish-esque |:< . Observe: I rest my case. Of course, I favour many Pokémon besides Shroomish and again, a lot of these are due to facial expressions, but some are just plain badass. Other favourites of mine include Paras (I've got a thing for mushrooms), Mantine, Gastrodon, Drifloon/Drifblim, Magnezone, Snover, Steelix and all of the Regis. I've also noticed a trend in that I seem to like Grass-types the best, particularly those that are near spherical and lack any form of hands. Yes, you know the ones - Shroomish, Seedot, Oddish, Tangela etc.

UPN's very own Houdini

Scizor. Hands down, has to be him. Runners up would be... Tauros, Sceptile, Turtwig and Roserade in that order.
