He became curious about the auctions as he had never been to one. “Hey can you tell me what’s going on around here?” Asked Captain Jack to one of the many bystanders. “It’s going to be huge, I tell you.” Said the guy. “Sableye are very rare and people are going to pay an awful lot of money for this little guy.” He continued. Captain Jack’s curiosity increased. He stepped inside the Auction house, showing his Fizzytopia ID on the way to one of the guards. The Auction house was a huge place with many small auctions going on around, but, most of them were overshadowed by the presence of the Sableye. The man outside, after all, was telling the truth. Captain Jack, right away called up The Doctor. “Hello, old friend.” Said Captain Jack. “Old, I am, but, so are you!” Said The Doctor. “Do you know I’m on Barcelona?” He continued. “It’s at Barcelona, Doctor!” Said Captain Jack. “Nah, not the city Barcelona, the planet Barcelona!” The Doctor’s voice rose of excitement. “Alright, alright, that is good, that is good”. Said Captain Jack. “I have an important question to ask…” The Doctor hung up the phone. “Doc…Doctor? Oh, damn!” Sighed the captain. “Anyone who wishes to participate in the auction for the Sableye please come forwards. Do note, this will be an expensive purchase, so, only come forwards if you actually have the goods to show.” An announcement was made through the speaker. A loud one, probably, it was a human Exploud talking, thought Captain Jack. “I have the goods, haha!” said Captain Jack, taking out his unlimited credit card, given to him by The Doctor. He went ahead and was accompanied by two more rich looking men. “Hello, nice to meet you!” Captain Jack greeted them, but, they did not respond. They were largely focused on the Auction. The Auction began with a mere $100 but, soon, it was sky high with one of the two folding out. It was now between Captain Jack and another guy to fight it out. It was going out of hands. Money, Candies and Gummies, everything was at stake here. The people who had come to watch the auction were left in awe of the men fighting for the Pokemon. They seemed to never give up. Various flashing images of faith were shown. People were chewing on pop-corn and then their nails. After an hour or two of constant bidding, the other guy was getting tired. Captain Jack still going strong. “This is going to be my last bid.” Said the other guy. At this moment, Captain Jack knew he had won the Auction. $750, 4 Rare Candies and any 5 gummies, was at line, now. “Ha! Easy to beat!” Captain Jack was exited. “$750, 5 rare candies and all my 9 gummies along with the white Pokeblock!” Said The Captain. The Announcer declared Captain as the winner and handed Captain Jack the Pokeball. In the Corner, the Sableye looked satisfied and happy. He was happy that the two of the best trainers were bidding for him. “Let’s go home, Marvel!” Captain Jack decided to call his new partner Marvel because of his Red, shiny, ruby eyes. Back at the auction house, while Captain Jack Harkness was bidding for a Sableye, The Doctor was looking around at various other Pokemon. There were many, many Pokemon up for trade. Swablu and Magnemite and many more. Around the corner, near the adoption center of the auction house, there was a young trainer. He was talking to the owner of the Adoption center. Standing next to him was his beautiful Druddigon. The Doctor had always been fascinated by the overwhelming power of the dragon type Pokemon. He jumped up and quickly made his way towards the trainer, before the Pokemon was given away for adoption. “Hello, I’m The Doctor, nice to meet you!” Said The Doctor to a now, confused young male. After moments of silence, The Doctor realized what he had done. “Oh, sorry to startle you, but the Druddigon of yours. Are you giving it up for adoption?” The Doctor asked, while patting the Druddigon in the back. Surprisingly, the Pokemon seemed to enjoy it. “Yes, I am. Is there a problem?” Said the young man. “No, no. I was wondering if instead of putting it up for adoption, why don’t you trade it to me for $50?” Said The Doctor as he went ahead and removed his credit card. “I would but, you can simply adopt her for $30, you know?” Said the young guy, wondering why would someone pay $20 extra for a Pokemon. “No, you don’t seem to understand.” Said The Doctor, pointing towards the adoption chart. “You see, I cannot adopt for another month now. And, I’m sure, by the time I’m able to, this beautiful Pokemon will have gone” “Well, in that case, $50 is too much to ask for a newly hatched Pokemon.” Said the young man in a calm voice. “Although, I have been looking for a lure ball for a long time now.” Said the young man, showing The Doctor an image of the lure ball. “Do you happen to have one on your hand by any chance?” The young man now seemed curious. The Doctor jumped right away. “Oh, oh! Oh, it’s our lucky day it seems!” The Doctor was very excited as he fumbled around his coat pocket, removing things after things. The young man seemed to be shocked at the amount of things a small pocket could store. “Don’t worry; it’s bigger on the inside” Said the Doctor as he finally found the lure ball. “Ah, there you go” The Doctor took out the lure ball. “A fantastically perfect Lure ball.” The Young man standing opposite The Doctor was excited. They quickly, in unison started walking towards the trade center. After trading the Pokemon, The Doctor thanked the young man and made his way back towards the Auction center of the palace. “Go….Bella!” The Doctor took out his Druddigon to show her off to Captain Jack Harkness if he ever returned with a Sableye. Trading 1xLure Ball to electric Blue eye for his female Druddigon |
