Unless things have seriously changed this season and the girls are no longer recognizable as their S1 selves, I can't really see Scootaloo or Apple Bloom being enthusiastic about matchmaking. Muyotwo Dominator of Bike Levels Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,321	I couldn't disagree more, Deo, I thought that was an awesome ep- Spoiler: show Twilight slamming the door in the mailman's face was ruder than AJ's actions after being ashamed at her performance, and her disappointment being heightened by her believing that everypony was depending on her to win the money for Ponyville it's understandable that she wouldn't want to talk about her failure. On the plus side though, holy shit this was an amazing ep. Pinkie got to do stuff, it referenced past eps, Derpy was a thing, Big Mac provided an example of what real manly tears are, and it was hilarious throughout. Plus I got the interaction I dreamed of (though to a lesser extent than I hope we'll see in the future) with Rarity and Pinkie Pie one on one- fucking fantastic! __________________ The Kim Il Sung of ASB.

She broke normal applejack character... I agree about Twilight, and basically everything you said, but the ending still didn't satisfy me at all. Maybe I need to rewatch it. Someone on reddit pointed out to me that AJ wasn't actually being dishonest, as she was doing a very good job of just not telling the truth, she wasn't lying either. Especially when she explained to Pinkie that she didn't break her promise. I don't know. I'll watch it again and report back. I need sleep...

But back on the subject of the episode- episodes with the entire crew are fantastic because the ponies interacting with each other makes their personalities really shine through. Fluttershy had some of her best moments all season in this ep, as did RD and, of course, Pinkie Pie. I liked Pinkie even more in this ep than I did in the last ep where she was flying solo, just being the high-energy pony that we know and love and interacting with all of the other ponies was so yay.
