The National Hockey League
Yes, a thread now exists to discuss the NHL. The least popular of the big 4 sports leagues. But need I remind you I am a hockey fan, specifically the Blue Jackets. I'm proud of how they did this year, but they just couldn't get things done in the playoffs.
Now I want Montreal to win the Cup, so that it can return to Canada for the first time in 21 years. Partons Canadiens!

Glad the Dallas Stars finally made it back to the playoffs and gave Anaheim a good series before dropping. We're young, talented and our farm team is in the finals, so things are definitely looking up.

Did you know that in parts of the US, the MLS is actually more popular than the NHL now. Specifically in the South and West.
I'm not really a hockey fan but I do like to keep track off it just so I can talk about it with my sports friends. And also so that I can show support for the Bruins without being called a bandwagon fan.

It's a bummer to hear that soccer is outpacing hockey in some communities, for me Soccer is like hockey for snails- the speed of hockey and the volume of shots that a goalie faces are many times greater than soccer, and as such the game is many times more interesting.
Speaking of, I mentioned that our developmental team was in the finals earlier- The Texas Stars are Calder Cup champions!
