• Retconning Kasa the Hisuian Decidueye's history. She was given to Rose Elia by her uncle, Bruno of Kanto's Elite Four, as a Rowlet, and evolved as Rose grew and continued to train, becoming Hisuian Decidueye as a result of having a strong bond with Rose, whose battle style of choice more closely aligns with Hisuian Decidueye's preference for close-quarters combat. The Normal Form Decidueye owned by Willa is considered to have been released by Willa so she could live in Cadaver Forest with Artemis.
• Retconning Venus the Shiny Roserade's history. She led a large group of Roselia on Fizzytopia Route 4, and when drawn into battle with Gavin by Sherles the Shiny Slurpuff's Sweet Scent, the two of them duked it out in a fierce battle, after which Gavin caught her in a Luxury Ball. The Roselia known as Artemis is considered to have been released by Keith so she could live in Cadaver Forest with her girlfriend, Willa's Decidueye.

Bio:
Willa first encountered Decidueye as a Rowlet while she and Keith were exploring Cadaver Forest. In the absence of the infamous Vampire of Cadaver Forest, the woods were thriving with more kinds of Pokémon than ever before, but the sinister aura of the place still attracted some more underhanded kinds of Pokémon, with this being a prime example. Decidueye lives for battling, and is especially fond of using sneaky, underhanded tactics to seize victory. In the battle that ensued, Rowlet and Mawile gained respect for each other, and Willa was quick to spot Rowlet's potential and even quicker to catch her. Decidueye likewise sees potential in Willa as her Trainer, and while she doesn't fully respect her just yet, she's willing to give her a chance. Decidueye has been welcomed by the rest of the team, as well as many of Keith's Pokémon, with Artemis in particular having outright fallen in love with her, a feeling that Decidueye absolutely reciprocates.

Artemis is the daughter of Fang and Aria. Even from a young age, it's clear she's inherited her mother's savage bloodlust, and both her parents' aptitude and love for hunting. Peculiarly, she's taken a particular interest in archery, and despite being ill-suited for such a thing as a Budew, she managed it well even then, though evolution has been of great help to her in that regard, among others. And the fact that her girlfriend is Willa's Decidueye can't exactly hurt, either.
