So for birthday claims moving forward, we just supposed to not claim the birthday poffin due to the killing of contest stats? or are we cool to loophole and claim that sweet extra 5 levels untill further notice? at the moment the way things are written in the announcement, it's kinda a "no rule in the rulebook that says dogs can't play basketball" situation is all. and what about the birthday gummy? i assume that we're just supposed to claim 2 synergy for the birthday mon, but it being a gummy, maybe it can turn into a level too? prolly not, just figured i'd ask before doin' for once.

So Synergy can only be claimed via RP. The bond and contest stats were suppoed to be editted out by now, but they no longer can be claimed yes.

hey, so am i correct in assuming that ultra beasts share birthdays with the legendaries, mythicals, and upc mons? 29 feb?

and following that, if that's the case, do we just claim on the 28th of feb on non leap years?

Yeah as of right now it follows the leap year schedule (so once every four years). Considering how things are as of now, that is something to discuss changing in the future.

Hi, so I have a few items that I got from the Cram I'm not entirely sure about...one Marshmallow (+5 bond) and Pumpkin Cupcake which has two descriptions (( 1) Pumpkin Cupcake, Gives 2 Levels - 2) Pumpkin Cupcake, Raises Bond stat by 2, and 2 contest stats by 20 each)). To add to that I know that Gummis have turned to a 1 on 1 conversation to Rare Candies. Contest Stats have turned to 10 = 1 level. What I am confused about is overall bond points, their standing, what to do about them, etc?

Any consumable items that grant Bond become Rare Candies, not just Gummis, so the Marshmallow would become a Rare Candy, as would the Pumpkin Cupcake if it falls under the second description.

Bond itself, as accumulated by Pokémon, is converted to a similar stat called Synergy. It's like Bond, but with more effort made to make it a more optional mechanic than Bond was, as part of an effort to try and trim down the excessive bookkeeping in FB. It determines the power of moves like Frustration and Return, and if you choose to not keep track of Synergy, such moves have their power based on the updator's discretion. A Pokémon can learn a Shadow or Advanced Move at 15 and 30 Synergy, and a Greninja with max Synergy (Synergy maxes at 30 just like Bond did, so it's a 1 to 1 conversion) has the option to have Battle Bond as its Ability.

And happiness evolutions are not tied to Synergy, so you can just evolve those whenever you like. You could hatch an Azurill and walk out of the Hatchery with a Marill, just like that.
