What's your favorite pokemon?
Simple question. Simple answer. Only problem, it can be hard to answer!
As for me, it is a close tie for Pikachu and Charizard! |\ |_\ | . | | . |_________ | . . . . .___|__\ | .| .| . | | . . ' . .| .\_____/

Breloom and Ampharos are my favourites, with Smeargle in a close 2nd/3rd place.

I have to say that it's quite surprising that such a lot of people still like Pikachu.
Oh - for me? Meh. Dewgong.

I can't pick just one. Not one per gen, not one per Contest type, not one per element ... and certainly not just one overall. Sorry.

Jumpluff is my number one favorite, but past that it becomes really hard to choose. D:

First favorite was Raichu, I used to be obsessed with electric types, no idea why.
Now... It would probably be a tie between Garchomp and Flygon. My Garchomp in Pearl is a tank. Edit: I feel ashamed. I just had to be reminded that Lucario is my all time favorite Pokemon. Had to get every card, see the episode, watch the movie, master using him in Brawl, spent hours trying to perfect a drawing of him, even bought a stuffed animal of Riolu because I couldn't find Lucario.. Own one in D/P/Pt... Yet when it comes to this I forget about him.. Yes, I may have went over board in my obsession. I'm a bit better now.

Hmm. That's tough. I like a lot of Pokes, but I don't think I can honestly say I have a favorite. When it first released, Poliwhirl was my favorite, and this continued for a long time. When Murkrow came out? Instant favorite, no clue why. For a little while I also really liked Wynaut for some odd reason when it was introduced. But right now I don't have a favorite.
Some I like a lot but aren't favorites: Scizor, Arcanine, Luxray, Phanpy, Dusknoir, a few others I can't think of at the moment. Oh, and contrary to my username, I never once really cared for Deoxys. Not really a fan. Makes perfect sense, I know. |

When I was a wee tot, I had a great fondness for Jigglypuff and Charmander, largely due to the anime. At the time, Lapras was just "that awesome looking thing for a couple of seconds in the opening theme". When I played Yellow, I fell head over heels for Lapras and she was the greatest member of my team. I adopted this screen name shortly thereafter. And then came the Orange Islands episodes, cementing the top position. <3
Arcanine and Espeon are pretty close favourites after that to make a very clear cut top three. I have no idea about the rankings after that though.

I have a
My first "favorite" was Mr. Mime. Why? I dunno, he was Psychic, he was cool-looking, he made walls. What's not to like? In GSC I had a much less clearly defined favorite. I have a handful that I liked but I can't choose one off the top of my head. Maybe Miltank, Octillery, Xatu, or Azumarill. For RSE, I have a hard time choosing between Snorunt and Kecleon. I fell in love with Snorunt upon discovering him by chance in Shoal Cave, and promptly obtained one as my starter upon joining FB aaaaaaaaaaages ago. Kecleon, however, I didn't find until after joining ASB, and quickly adopted him as my mascot of sorts. For DP, I used to like Floatzel (and still sorta do), but got bored of him quickly as he was one of those not-that-great Pokemon everyone picked up as their Water. Then, I discovered Drifblim. Definitely my favorite DP 'mon. If I had to pick a second, I'd definitely go for Froslass, as it evolves from Snorunt and is a pretty awesome snow geisha thingy. General runners up include (in no particular order): Spinda, Gardevoir, Togetic, Gorebyss (violent blood-sucking pink mermaid ftw), Farfetch'd, Ludicolo, Quagsire, Remoraid, Mantine, Marshtomp, Whiscash, Plus/Minuschu, Shiftry, Masquerain line, Meteor Duo, Volbeat, Exploud, Grumpig, Swalot, Altaria, Castform, Chimecho, Relicanth, Registeel, Roserade?/Roselia, Bellossom, Jumpluff, Slowking, Delibird, Ledian, Ariados, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Dugtrio, Politoed, Flygon, Seaking... Yes. I like a lot of Pokemon, most of which are UU/NU. I have also considered or already have practically all these Pokemon in the ASB. |

You could always rectify not having all of them with the addition of slots by reffing more and acquiring more SP.

If I had to absolutely choose one it'd be Quilava without a doubt, though my second favorite is the Starly evolution line; technically I like Staraptor a tiny bit more than the other two, but Starly and Staravia are so close that I just consider all three as my second favorites.
Others that I like: allll the birds, Buizel/Floatzel, Seadra, Kyogre, Arceus, and... well, too many others. XD |

Piplup or Totodile at the moment.
Close behind are Togepi, Latios, Suicune, Teddiursa, Ludicolo, Blaziken and Wailord. I've also found Cradily, Corphish, Yanmega, Mantine, Breloom and Tangrowth to be awesome in their own weird ways XP |

Anime-wise, Gyarados was awesome. It was my favorite because it was like a force of nature that could rape your churches and burn your women.
Game-wise I love Salamence. It was in every way what I thought a western dragon should look like and be like- destructive and intimidating. I also love Dunsparce because it's stupid looking and oddly awesome and Spinda because it made Talon87 mad. |

For the longest time I really liked larvitar (his alice cooperish eye triangle things are full of win!), but now I am a huge fan of nincada. He is the epitome of pure sex and win.
