(Really hope I’m not too late to start this event… wanted to make sure I finished the Cloud Garden before I worried about my own adventure XD)
The sun shined bright overhead and the sand squished below his feet. It had been quite some time since Gary had traversed the lands of Fizzy Bubbles, but in a way it felt like he had come home. The years had passed and he was a much more experienced trainer than he once was, but something in the air here took him back to those days when he was just getting started. Gary had heard something about an event, and he felt it was high time he returned to his old stomping grounds. Tossing a pokeball in the air with a flick of the wrist, it popped open with a poof of red light before landing back in his hand. When the light cleared, a Typhlosion stood before him. “How’s it feel, buddy? We’re back where it all started.” Typhu closed his eyes, taking in the bright sunlight, and let out a pleased yawn. Gary grinned and looked around at the beachfront setting around them, wondering what was in store. |

Soon, the baby bird inside was free. It was a black and white bird with a red stripe on it's little face. "It's a Pikipek!" Tim exclaimed. "Aw, it's so cute!" Before Tim had the chance to say anything else, or even think up a nickname for this little girl, the baby Pikipek flew out of his arms, and began feasting on the berries Nabit was eating on. The Cottonee was not amused over having to share these berries. "Cottonee!" The Grass/Fairy type shouted. Even though it didn't do much good. The little bird continued munching away. This prompted Nabit to eat faster before there were no more berries left for him. Tim giggled . "Looks like I have two gluttons on my hands..." Then, Tim suddenly felt something hit his head. "Ow!" He rubbed the area on his head where the mysterious object hit him. On the floor in front of him was a loosely bound package with a bunch of things in it. Some of the items were already spilling out of the package. Among them was a bracelet with a sky blue diamond on it. He knew it was a Z-Ring. He had read about those things before. This package must have been another gift from the Easter Pyukumuku. Tim picked up his goodies, and called out to his Pokemon. "Alright, let's go home you two. I think you've both had enough to eat for one day!" By this point all of the berries were gone. Nabit floated over to his trainer's side, while the Pikipek flew to sit on top of Tim's shoulder. The trio of trainer and Pokemon then made their way down the tree. OOC: Claiming all my free goodies, including Flynium Z. I guess this counts as my first capture. :P Last edited by Mon1010; 05-22-2017 at 01:37 PM. |

With a low, drawn out sigh, Erven withdrew a pokeball from his pack for the Diglett, who seemed pleased, understanding this to mean it would be taken along with them, and it swayed, joyously, as it disappeared inside of the pokeball. Erven tucked the occupied pokemon receptacle away, and reached for the basket in which the egg had come, hoping to find something of some kind of use or value inside. "Come on, let's go get some rest," he exhaled, exhausted and downtrodden. Greg was relieved to hear the words he'd been waiting for all day, though did sympathize for his trainer, whose disappointment was tangible. Greg trailed closely behind the disheartened human as he dragged hismself back down the path. Claiming Level 1 male Alolan Diglett with turtleshell backpack (nice touch), Groundium Z, TM Aurora Veil, 3 Springtime Chocolate Rare Candies, and Bunny Suit. |

Sighing, Michael ponders the egg. While it was far enough away from the shrine that it likely wasn't an offering, there's always the chance that it was and it had just been moved. And yet, with the Springtime Pyukumuku hiding eggs, such a precarious spot could mean something quite worth his time would lie inside the shell he was now holding. Beyond that, though, he became worried for a moment for any other trainer that might pass through should he decide to put the egg back. He was trying to be respectful and still ended up making a fair bit of sound with just a tap, after all, who knows what someone less respectful to the deities might do in the same situation. After contemplating his options for a moment, Michael hoists the egg into his arms and begins to take it away from its hiding spot. |

"Yes, you will do. I see great potential in you, once you get over this ludicrous blanket thing." Maria pursed her lips. Silly blanket thing? Her blanket wasn't silly, it was her core identity. Without this blanket, she'd be just another shitty original character. The blanket is what made her above that. Looking the Oranguru dead in the eye, she retorted, "The blanket is part of my identity, like your fan is to you. It's not ludi...cruss...ludicrys...ludicros." Maria rambled on in attempts to get the word right, now more embarrassed than displeased. She couldn't get this strange word right, and yet this newborn monkey could! Eventually she came to the correct pronunciation, and came to a quiet stop, tapping her feet awkwardly, eyes to the ground. After a moment, she stole a glance upward, finding the Oranguru looking quite amused. In an attempt to break the awkwardness, she tried to introduced the orangutan to her companions. "Erhm well, nice to meet you. My name is Maria, and that's Buffy, and that's Boop. What's your nam-" Maria's voice came to a stuttering stop. The Oranguru had just hatched! That was a stupid question, he wouldn't have a name yet. Looking back at the Oranguru, she began to apologize for her question, but was quickly cut off by the orangutan. "No no, it's quite alright. I had ample time to think of a suitable name for myself in the egg. You may address me as Chap. It is a pleasure to meet you and your friends. Well, check your basket and come along now. We're off to Minnao." Chap began to walk out out the shrine, signaling for the group to follow him. Maria looked on with confusion, but then began to follow along. Where ever he was going, he was going with confidence. As they followed after Chap, Maria rummaged through the basket. There was some pretty neat stuff in there. A white crystal, a light blue disc, some candies, and a cute lil' bunny suit. She didn't know what all of it was though, and whispered to Boop for input. "Pst Boop, what's this crystal, this disc, and what is this Minnao place we're going to?" Shuffling up beside Maria, Boop glances at the objects in question. After a moment, Boop whispers back, "That's a Normalium Z and that's an Aurora Veil technical machine. The Minnao islands are a nice little island chain to the south. Also, If you didn't know what they were, why did you agree to follow him?" "He seemed pretty intent on going there. I think he mumbled something about furthering the plot," Maria whispered in return. "Wat," Boop responded aloud. In turn, Maria grabbed some candies from her blanket bag and from the basket, and shoved them in Boop's face. With an after thought, she turned to Buffy, who had been quietly following in the back, and tossed some candies his way as well. "Eat these on the ride over or something I dunno. We're going to Minnao and that's that. The weed monkey said so." -- Claiming the Normalium Z and attaching it to Buffy. Claiming the TMs, Candies, Bunny Suit, and Chap the level 1 male Oranguru. Feeding 1 of the chocolate candies to Boop, elevating her to level 6. Feeding the remaining 2 to Buffy, elevating him to level 3, and then feeding him 3 of my 7 rare candies, putting him at level 6. |

Then she looked at the pamphlet in more detail. "GAH, there's too many places to go there!" The beach with its warm sands, the market with all the food, the mysterious and all-ancient shrines, the ice caves where the temperature might remind her of home, the canopy of trees filled with sweet berries, some beautiful waterfalls... Where should she go? They were all too interesting each in their own ways. She wanted to make things easy on her first voyage. But not too easy. She wanted to make that first adventure meaningful. But didn't want to make a grand entrance either. She walked in circles as she kept thinking about the choices. She pondered on the question for days. And yet... every time she looked at the flyer, her eyes always focused on the "Shrine to the Sun and Moon", for some reason. Logically, she wanted to go at them all equally, but that name keeps popping back at her. Is it because of the flashy yellow color the text has in the pamphlet? Perhaps. Could it be just because it made her think of her two Eevee, Soleil and Lune? Maybe. But she felt it was more... like her subconsciousness was hinting her. Should she just go to it? The place didn't seem to need much preparation, besides maybe some studying about the customs to not look out of place. She had a hard time to decide where to go anyways, so why not? She officially took her decision while ordering her boat ticket to Springtime Isle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As she took the final step at the end of the road leading to her destination, Mélina looked up at the stairs that lead up to the two shrines. "Ugh, all that reading was all for nothing," the trainer sighed. "I guess the island has been so isolated, anything about the island is just tourist-y stuff." "You got any idea what's the polite way to go on there, Starlette?" she turned to her cosplaying Pikachu, resting on her shoulder. "Climb the stairs on your knees? Make a prayer at every step maybe?" "Pika-pika..." Starlette shook her head. Even while wearing her Ph. D costume, she doesn't have the answer for that. "Alright, it was worth the shot asking... I guess we should just climb up the stairs slowly. At the same time, it'll give us a chance to maaaaaaybe spot an egg around here. Sure we might have better chance at the shrines themselves, but we never know..." Last edited by OkikuMew; 06-08-2017 at 10:25 PM. |

KamenAeons (1/3) ~please post in paletuquoise
Last post: here Morningstar (2/3) ~please post in lawngreen Somewhat disgusted by the puff of spores, you decide to leave this egg alone in the hopes of finding one that wouldn’t try to lull you into sleep. Éclair gives a worrying look at the egg before following your suit. The two of you make your way through the grasslands and scour the bushes and tall grass in the hopes of finding one hidden amongst them. The tall reeds start reaching up to your face and tickle. A new wave of drowsiness washes over you and your eyelids lapse for just a moment. Maybe a short break wouldn’t be too bad after all. Before you could even rethink the sentiment, sleeps knocks itself into your mind and you collapse on to the soft earth asleep, the grass forming a comfortable pillow you find. You wake up a few hours later, the sun having arched across the horizon to the other side by now. Éclair had woken up before you, apparently having decided to take a nap alongside you as well. She tries to direct your attention to behind you. Surprisingly you find an egg had rolled through the bushes towards you in your sleep. Or was this perhaps a prank pulled off by the Springtime Pyukumuku? After all, this pink egg was adorned with strap-on of white, fuzzy ears. Perhaps bunny-ears like those of the enigmatic Springtime entity? If the egg had rolled here on its own, the Pokémon inside must have been very friendly to people, though perhaps you should remain cautious off what lies inside and avoid touching it. Sandaa (1/3) ~please post in mediumaquamarine After calling out your partner Typhloshion you take the time to admire the warm setting of the beach and scour its horizon for anything interesting. The sea gently rolled it’s waves onto the shore where children were playing a game of not getting wet, or perhaps they just found its touch to be too cold in comparison with the weather. They seemed to be laughing and enjoying themselves though. Elsewhere, parasols littered the sand with sunbathing swimmers and models, the place was after all known for attracting many locals and tourists for a luxury retreat. You hear a voice shout out just a little further up. “Eww!” one of the beach-blonde parasol ladies exclaimed. “What is that thing?” “What is it honey,” a muscle-beach stereotype pops up beside her. “This rock, it’s all squishy and slimy and stuff. Eww, get it away."The man laughed, scooped it up and teased the woman with it, though not all too playfully. "Haha, you afraid of a little wet rock?" he held it up close to her. "Eww, stop! Get it away from me," she said in an accusatory tone. "alright," he reluctantly tosses the egg behind him, where it landed squarely on your nose. It drops to the floor just as your head did from pain. Clutching your face, you feel the red flow of blood coming from your nose. You glance over the weird rock that was just haphazardly tossed to you, Typhu sniffing it with caution. It was an ugly grey-black oval with bright pink edges poking out at intervals. That wasn’t a rock you realised, but an egg. A Springtime egg to be exact.

Athena opened her eyes slowly as she was aroused by her partner Pokemon. She sat up with a yawn and surprisingly felt refreshed. That was something she loved about traveling, being able to nap in wild and beautiful places, feeling safe with Eclair by her side. She looked towards the now setting sun. Oops, she didn't mean to sleep that long. Hopefully she hadn't missed the whole egg hunt. "Maw! Mawile!" Eclair jumped up and down excitedly again, a small hand pointing behind her trainer. Athena shielded her face this time, lest she get another face injury. She directed her attention to the object her Pokemon was pointing at. It was... a stuffed animal? Athena wondered if a child had lost it on their own egg hunt. No wait, it was an egg! Athena scooped it up with no hesitation to get a closer look at it. It definitely felt like an egg, warm with a hard shell protecting the baby inside. She gasped as she turned the egg around in her hands. She felt something inside it shift in response to her touch. "Eclair, have you ever seen anything so cute in your life!" She practically squealed. Pink shell, white fuzzy ears, could this egg be any more her aesthetic? She pulled out her phone and immediately started snapping pictures for her social media page. One with the egg in her arms, one nestled in the grass, one with Eclair holding it, and of course, several selfies. "We're definitely taking this one," Athena giggled, cradling the egg in her arms. "I can't wait to see what this cutie looks like!" OOC: Taking this egg!!! Thank you!! ❤︎ |

Such an outburst would pique anyone’s attention, and Gary was no different, so he glanced over to see the girl and her boyfriend messing around with a big squishy-looking rock. The jock then proceeded to tease his girlfriend with it, who cowered away from the slimy membrane. Demanding that he remove it from her face, the jock gave in and tossed the rock away. Before Gary could even react, the rock hit him squarely in the nose, causing him to yelp in shock and knocking him to the ground. The sudden outburst caused Typhu’s attention to you to see what the matter was. Holding the slimy rock up with one hand and wiping his nosebleed with the back of his other, Gary closely examined the round object. It was a dull blackish-gray color with bright pink lumps pattered down the side. This design was too precise to be a natural rock formation, and the mucus covered membrane were all the signs Gary needed to realize that this rock was biological in nature. It’s got to be some kind of egg, he thought to himself. Gary knew from his studies that an egg that has a membrane like this must need to have an ample supply of moisture and thus is likely a marine creature. Unless this egg were kept in a cool, damn location, it would likely dry up and perish. He made up his mind that he would care for this egg, or at least try to find a place where it can hatch safely. Meanwhile, as his attention was fully distracted by the egg, Gary failed to notice that small pilot light that rose from Typhu’s neck, who bristled in defense of his trainer.

Trudging through the notably warm sandy expanse before him, Damien sighs in exasperation at the cackling ghost following not so far behind him and throws a dirty look at her. "I'm not quite sure I like whatever idea is brewing in your head right now; the last time you were plotting something we had to run from the police..." The Misdreavus simply gave her trainer a wicked smile, continuing to laugh madly at the obvious torment on his face. Yes, Madoka was something of a sadist. Or maybe just batshit crazy, but who could tell so soon into their partnership. She had been an absolute nightmare from the very moment he picked her up from the local Adoption Center about a week prior, with no signs of that changing anytime soon. "Did you come straight out of the egg like that, or did I do something to deserve this?" Damien questioned Madoka rhetorically, shaking his head at his friend's antics.
On the topic of eggs, looking for one was the only reason the young man had traveled all this way, hearing rumors about the mythical Springtime Pyukumuku. Basking in the heat relief given by the salty sea breeze, Damien glances over the coastline to the calm, deep aquamarine waters past it. "Well, I don't see anything here. I suppose we should get moving, the eggs aren't going to roll themselves to us. Let's go, Madoka. Please try not to anger the Springtime Pyukumuku, if you can help it." The pair continues forward.

Sneaze - Please reply in yellow!
As you pick up the egg and walk away from the Shrine, you begin to a rapid ringing noise. Initially it sounds almost like a wind chime, but there's no wind blowing right now, so you look down to your egg to see that its beginning to shake rather vigourously! The egg is shaking so vigourously, in fact, that it flips out of your arms and slams into the ground. The egg shell shatters, but it seems that the Pokemon inside came out unharmed, looking around to see where it is before it sees you. While its not as scaly as the egg might have suggested, the proud Pokemon stares at you while holding its ground, a large yellow heart shaped scale on it head revealing that the Pokemon is, in fact, a Jangmo-o! A rare Dragon-type Pokemon from Alola. The Springtime Pyukumuku is even able to spread these kind of eggs around, although it might have needed a couple of bandages from being headbutted. You debate whether to approach the little one, when suddenly, it charges towards you, looking ready to headbutt you! You flinch for a moment before the Jangmo-o backs off. Seems like that was some sort of mock charge, as it smiles and looks at you. Seems like it already considered you a friend. The little guy bounds forward, when it sees something in the shrubbery. Bounding over too it, it bites a strap poking out of the shrubbery before pulling it out. It's a sack full of items, and you find a small card indicating it was from the Springtime Pyukumuku. x1 Dragonium Z x1 Aurora Veil TM x3 Easter Chocolate Candies (Each worth 1 Rare Candy) x1 Brand Name Bunny Suit: The user's healing moves heal 25% more HP and the user jumps 50% higher. Please reply to this post to claim your gifts and your Level 1 Male Jangmo-o! Last edited by Emi; 05-26-2017 at 01:17 PM. |

Last post: here Morningstar (2/3) ~please post in lawngreen You definitely liked the design of this egg and instantly proceed to the self-gratifying nature of selfie-taking together with Éclair. The two of you decide on a plethora of portraits to take with the new egg, sharing your achievement with the world on social media (I guess?), and who would blame you? This was a pretty extraordinary find after all. Amidst the series of picture-taking though it appears the Pokémon inside the egg can tell what’s going on and wants to join in on the fun. To your surprise, and delight, the egg cracks and the bunny-ears slip off. One by one, a web of cracks emerge along the sides until the egg shatters into a million tiny pieces, inside of which a stuffed toy was extending her leg. Did she shatter the shell on her own with one attack? The creature gives you an excited smile and instantly wants her picture taken as well – though be cautious of directly touching her. After all three of you make the necessary greetings and pictures, you eventually pick yourself up to leave. You trudge along the dirt ground, trying to find the road most-travelled once more. The sun was dipping into the ocean’s horizon by know and the first few stars were visible from atop the cliffside; a beautiful scene that was worth a brief pause. Despite the darker circumstances you find your way back to the road you were on, only to find a wicker basket had been dropped off as a final present to you and your Pokémon, congratulating you on your new partnership. You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Stufful - 1 Normalium Z or Fightinium Z - 1 TM Aurora Veil - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Bunny Suit (Held Item) – This suit allows a Pokémon to jump 50% higher than usual and increases the effectiveness of its healing moves by 25% Congratulations on finishing your Springtide Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. Sandaa (1/3) ~please post in mediumaquamarine You make the rational decision that a mucus-covered egg such as this needed lots of moisture, and dry beach sand was exactly the opposite, which is why you claim this egg as your own and quickly search for a more wet environment for the egg. The sea’s waves made sense of course, though your bristling fire-type was going to have to stay behind lest he wanted to visit the local Pokécentre hereafter. You wade through the first few waves to find a place that would stay moist. Between the tug-and-pull of the current you would have to hold onto the egg while it absorbed the saline waters to rehydrate. Another wave crashed down on you and the egg, and you accidentally swallow a small mouthful, but within your hands you feel the egg giving a slight tremble in response. The water’s surface still blanketed the egg but beneath the drink you saw a white light glowing brighter by the second. The egg trembled even more in your hand and another wave came rolling into you, catching you off guard and pushing you and the egg back. You cling onto the egg with your best effort as the riptide carried you on your backside to the beach’s shore. A few nearby kids giggled and pointed towards you but the familiar face of Typhu shadowing the sun’s rays made it all the better. Your Typhlosion however seems more interested in what you were holding. While you may not have realised it as the creature was about as slimy as the egg it was in, you were clutching not onto an eggshell but a Pokémon. The tiny creature rested atop your torso, staring quizzically at you with tiny pink eyes that blinked as she tried to figure you out. You stare back at it before any of you three make the appropriate introductions. You were about as wet and slimy as the new Pokémon you had managed to obtain, and as far as one could tell you had not brought a towel with you despite the hitchhiker guidebook’s recommendation (or at least, your updater didn’t read that you had in your first post). So, you had to either leave the beach or undress and find a nice warm place so you could dry out. Either option would do as once you head for a new part of the beach, as if by magic, a parcel lay waiting for you, addressed to you and your new Pokémon. Inside you find a collection of sweets and presents bestowed upon you by the mythical entity that was the Springtime Pyukumuku. You obtained: - Lv.1 Female Pyukumuku - 1 Waterium Z - 1 TM Aurora Veil - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Bunny Suit (Held Item) – This suit allows a Pokémon to jump 50% higher than usual and increases the effectiveness of its healing moves by 25% Congratulations on finishing your Springtide Event campaign! Rotom310 (3/3) – With Rotom even going as far as to shed his cellular vestige for the promise of deep fried gateau, it is a grave disappointment indeed that the enticing scent of familiar, nostalgic sweetness enrobed in fried dough curdles into such a horrific stench upon approaching the stand. There was, perhaps, something to be admired in the Springtime Pyukumuku's mischievous placement of the egg, but the baby's foul odor was simply too much to bear. One ruined promise of dessert was enough, and the pair hope to find something more pleasant as they journey on.
Past the fried sweets is a little vegetable tempura stand, advertising delicious fried broccoli, zucchini and sweet potato with homemade sauce. The sign's painted advertisement informs one and all that this is the place to get some grub, but there appears to be no vendor at the stand – instead, a small, white egg has been seated in the vendor's chair instead. The egg has two small punctures in it, where tiny little spiked appendages are attempting to break free and sink into some fried veggies. No sooner do Drew and his Rotom approach than do the pincers give one, heavy push, revealing the bug's head attached to them. With a wibble and a wobble, the body breaks free – only to accidentally take a tumble right off the chair! As luck would have it, a well-positioned Easter Basket breaks his fall – was that there before? Had Drew and Rotom simply not noticed it? And, for that matter, where did all the fried tempura go? There seems to be a slick of slimy residue where there once was tins full of fried veggie goodness... Somewhere closeby, Drew and Rotom hear a rather odd-sounding belch, followed by a rapidly fading pyu-pyu-pyu-pyu-pyu... Seems like even mythical beings in the Springtide Isles like a good snack, too. You obtained: - Lv.1 Male Grubbin - 1 Buginium Z - 1 TM Aurora Veil - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Bunny Suit (Held Item) – This suit allows a Pokémon to jump 50% higher than usual and increases the effectiveness of its healing moves by 25% Congratulations on finishing your Springtide Event campaign! After replying to this post you may claim your reward. OkikuMew (1/3) – It was hard to say exactly what drew Mélina to the Shrine of the Sun and Moon – perhaps it was the resonance with Mélina's pair of Eevees, Soleil and Lune, or the bright, yellow text which advertised the locale – or perhaps it was something more subtle, yet profound. Following this inexplicable pull, Mélina and her cosplaying Pikachu, Starlette, find themselves at the base of the staircase leading up to the shrines. How best does one respect the celestial bodies to which they ascend? Despite her academic appearance and appropriately-themed name, Starlette has no answer for this. Best to just take it slow, and keep one's eyes open. As Mélina carefully climbs the staircase with Starlette on her shoulder, she searches as reverently as she can... The stairs appear free of any hidden treasures, and her journey up the stairs ends up rather uneventful... that is, until she feels something shove past her left leg, and she nearly topples over. Though she is thankfully able to maintain her balance despite some wobbling, it is shocking to think that someone would be so rude in such a sacred place! The nerve! A sharp scolding would be wasted, however, as it turns out the shoving in question was not from a person at all – Mélina observes the rather unbelievable sight of a white and purple egg floating up the stairs. What kind of strange, uncouth egg would have the ability to levitate like that? The trainer's right leg, too, is nearly taken out by a levitating fan that follows behind. UGH! So rude. The egg and its fan seem to be in a big hurry to get to the shrine... though the egg does pause a moment, as if looking back. Will Mélina seize the moment, or let the egg continue on its way? You and your Misdreavus are out on the beach in order to try and find some of the rare Alolan eggs. Normally, a young guy like yourself would probably be looking for bikini-clad ladies to woo and maybe bring back to your Secret Base. Hell, I would be doing that right now if I, you know, wasn't writing this update. Anyways, there are no such bikini-clad ladies on this beach, just a few trainers looking for eggs. You fervently begin your search, trying to ignore your Misdreavus' antics as you comb the beach, looking for any sort of egg you can find. You find something that looks like its been buried under a pile of seaweed and keen to investigate, you throw some of the seaweed to the side, finding an oviod shape in the debris. The egg, as you have discovered, is a black egg with a white spot on the back that looks almost like a cottontail. Other than that, however, you see no other markings which would indicate what it is. Maybe there is some kind of clue in the surroundings? Actually, now that you look at it, the egg wasn't just covered in seaweed, it was basically buried in it. There is a lot of seaweed nearby. Maybe the Springtime Pyukumuku wanted to make sure it had a lot to eat? What will you do? |

Athena let out a half-scream half-laugh as the Pokemon burst forth from its shell. The newborn Pokemon was beyond cute, and Athena reached forward to grab it in her arms once again. She was stopped immediately as the Stufful placed a paw on her outstretched hand, firmly. Her beady eyes piercing into her own. She giggled nervously, pulling her hand slowly away from the bear and onto the safety of a Pokeball instead. "Ahah...ha... so um. We're friends now yeah?" She lifted up the Pokeball so the Stufful could see. She gave her a blank stare. Athena felt dumb, the Pokemon had hatched barely minutes ago, it had no idea what she was holding. "Um, like, can I catch you? And we can go on adventures! We'll do really fun things! Eclair and you and I! Oh! And Monte too!" She felt a Pokeball in her bag wiggle at the mention of its inhabitant's nickname. The Stufful cocked her head in confusion, but reached out towards the ball's center button. It pressed it surprisingly gently, and a light enveloped the small creature. The ball in Athena's hand shook a few times, then stopped suddenly with a satisfying click. She couldn't help throw up her arms in excitement, she had caught a new Pokemon! Taking a moment to ponder on it, she decided that Mille was fitting, as her pink coat reminded Athena of the strawberry topped pastries popular in Kalos. She snapped a final picture of the setting sun before her and her Mawile began to take the road back. Eclair trotted a bit ahead of her, and was the first one to discover the goodie-filled basket. Athena grabbed the basket excitedly, though it had gotten a bit too dark to properly look inside. She decided to go through it on the boat back to the main part of Fizzytopia. Although she was tired, she felt it best to decide on their next location as soon as possible. Accepting the cutie baby Stufful and all items! Feeding all candies to my Stufful, raising her to Lv. 4. - Lv.1 Female Stufful - 1 Fightinium Z - 1 TM Aurora Veil - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Bunny Suit (Held Item) |

Before he could realize it, the egg he held against his chest was no longer an egg. Instead, Gary held a small egg-shaped Pokemon in his arms that consisted of the same squishy, slimy substance that the egg featured before. The small ball of a Pokemon gazed up at Gary with its tiny pink eyes, emitting a faint “Pyuku?” Gary smiled before confirming his thoughts with his Pokedex. This was a Pyukumuku, the Sea Cucumber Pokemon. He had never seen one before now, but this one was all his. “Hey there, little one,” he greeted the baby echinoderm, “I’ll take good care of you, I promise.” Holding the slimy creature in his arms, Gary stood up and headed to another part of the beach where he reconvened with Typhu. Due to his line of work, Gary often wore waterproof or quick-drying clothes, so he didn’t mind being a little wet. Letting the sun do its best to dry himself off, Gary and Typhu began to walk down the beach together with the Pyukumuku. “I think I’ll name you Pickle,” he announced with a grin. Looking up, Gary spotted a small parcel on the beach with his name on it. He looked around to see if anyone had left it there but to no avail. He cautiously opened it up, reading a note that congratulated him on his newborn Pokemon. There were a few confectionary treats as well as a TM, a Z-Move Crystal, and an unusual Bunny Suit for a Pokemon to equip. Quite the haul, he thought. Gary decided to pocket the items and feed the candies to Pickle, who he figured was hungry. Satisfied with this turns of events, Gary with his newest and his oldest Pokemon departed the beach to resume their adventures. Thank you for the updates! Claiming the following: - Lv.1 Female Pyukumuku - 1 Waterium Z - 1 TM Aurora Veil - 3 Springtide Chocolate Rare Candies - 1 Bunny Suit (Held Item) – This suit allows a Pokémon to jump 50% higher than usual and increases the effectiveness of its healing moves by 25% Feeding the 3 Candies to Pyukumuku, leveling her from Lv.1 -> Lv.4.

Considering the strange, slimy black egg with morbid curiosity, Damien traces his fingertips over its surface gently, the odd texture practically sending shivers down his spine. He couldn't help but feel as if he were handling an object of terrible evil; given the strange cottontail design on the rear end of the egg, perhaps some kind of Cthulian nightmare bunny would emerge from the muculent shell. Or perhaps a Cthulian nightmare Springtime Pyukumuku. Whichever the case, the egg gave off the distinct aura of Cthulu, or some other ungodly eldritch horror, and being as close to the ocean as he currently was, that could never be a good thing. Damien glanced over to his partner with a bit of apprehension. "I don't know Madoka, this egg is giving me the heebie jeebies. What do you think?"
The Misdreavus lights up with unbridled glee and instantly begins giggling as she looks at the egg Damien retrieved from the seaweed, grinning at her trainer as if daring him to take the thing he had discovered. "Okay that settles it. I knew something was off." Gently placing the dull charcoal egg back into the seaweed where he found it and carefully covering it back up, Damien slowly stepped away from the now reburied egg, leaving it for another to potentially find. Madoka seemed to pout playfully at her trainer, before resuming her giggling. "Come on you crazy 'mon. Let's get moving. maybe the next egg we find will be...safer." The pair leave the egg behind them and begin to search for another.

The first place after Bill had a rest from his life-changing experience from the Ocean of Mystery was this new Springtide Isle area. It was a nature preserve for caring for Pokemon and Pokemon eggs, occasionally they would let trainers in, but that was rare enough. Bill lucked out that he didn't miss the deadline on getting to this island, especially since he lost almost his entire team, and what he did have left was reverted back to their base forms with no explanation. Due to his love for Water-type Pokemon, Bill decided to check out the coast. Though he also wanted to keep to the land due to his Golett Megas. He had on some hiking boots which at least helped him walking on the more slippery rocks, he hoped he could find an egg soon and get his new Pokemon. Walking along side the trainer was his aggressive but joyful companion, Megas. It was more than happy to be out and about, though it would rather stomp on the ground or punch random rocks than look for eggs. Bill hoped that it wouldn't accidentally punch an egg. |

You leave the egg behind, afraid that what might be inside is some sort of eldritch creature ready to devour your soul. Madoka seems to agree with that, although she seems to be rather put off that you didn't take the egg. But then again, maybe that was for the best, as Madoka is...a little bit mad. You continue making your way down the beach, trying to look for any eggs among the sand, waves, and trees. You aren't finding anything, so maybe the beach has already been combed for eggs. It seems like this trip might not be very profitable, but suddenly, someone runs up to you with something in their hands. "I found this egg in my shop. Personally, I don't really need another Pokemon, but every Trainer that I've tried to give the egg to turned it down. Could you take it off of my hands?" The man was holding a two-tone egg: the top half of the egg was a bright yellow color while the bottom half was a brownish color, split by a zigzagging line. You look to see where the man came from, and see he came from a seaside shack that sold food, including curiously, pancakes. The egg presumably was placed there by the Springtime Pyukumuku, but for what reason? Will you take the egg?

As she was catching her breath though, she suddenly felt something that shoved on her leg, strong enough to lose her balance! She mustered her best not to fall back into the stairs despite the weight of her backpack pulling her down, and thankfully, with her reflexes and the help of Starlette's weight pulling her the opposite way, she was able to get back on her feet. "Who the heck has the bright idea of-" her rant is interrupted by noticing the source of the shove: a strange, levitating white and purple egg. Before she could take the time to look at it with curiosity though, a lighter hit was felt on her other leg, by a floating fan that seemed to follow the egg. "What's the big idea!?" Mélina screamed at it. "Don't you know it's dangerous to push people like that, especially near a staircase?" "Pikapika!" Starlette echoed her human's anger after she jumped off her shoulder, not wanting to fall off along either. The egg and its fan continued on its course though, hastily going towards what seems to be the Shrine of the Sun. Yet, it has stopped for a moment, like if it was looking back at Mélina. "T'es pas sérieux!"* the woman groaned in exasperation. "Magical springtime egg or not, I'm not following one who doesn't have basic manners, on holy ground, of all places! Let's go to the other shrine, Starlette," the starting trainer sighed, "No way I'm gonna be near that bad egg." The cosplaying Pikachu shrugged, understanding Mélina's displeasure but not her decision of purposely walking away from a prize they were looking for. She adjusted her mortarboard on her head before catching up with her trainer, who was already walking in the direction of the Shrine of the Moon to lose sight of the egg as quickly as possible. * "Are you freakin' serious!?" Seiko hunched forward under the weight of the chilly air. No sooner did she feel despair overtake her did she grow aware of yanking at her ankle of her pants, followed by a rasping sound. Seiko smiled and crouched to pet her companion in her pursuits. "What's up, Aiolia?" The young Litleo's brow creased at her response, proud to have his trainer's attention. Seiko was equally pleased with the willful, bright spirit of the cub at her side--so willful in fact, he wasted no time bounding off towards the crags removed from the mountainous eaves. "Wait, Aiolia! It's cold up there." Just because Seiko rushed to embark on her journey didn't mean an infant Fire-type was right to follow her example! Seiko hurried to catch up with her driven partner, too concerned with his safety to bother herself with the pressing issue of exactly what it was that Aiolia wanted to show her. Well, he sure is a handful! Seiko barely had time to continue that train of thought before colliding right-smack into a gnarled spire of slate and ice. She fell backwards, more surprised than hurt, disrupting the accumulating snow drifts at her flanks. "Owww..." It was official: the day just wasn't hers. "Springtime Island", they said. SPRING-time. A merry little trip across the isle, collecting eggs and taking in the scenery, they said. The mountains are especially gorgeous around this time of the year, they said. You will fall down and die in a frozen cavern if you don't watch your step, said absolutely no-one! It was, admittedly, one of his less charming traits: Rorik was exceptional at mentally laying the blame on someone else when his plans backfired. In truth, nobody had forced him into the Ice Caverns - it was his own initiative to come, hoping that the colder air would numb his partner's excepcional sense of smell and, hopefully, prevent him from finding and devouring the eggs before Rorik could retrieve them. Because this is the kind of lovely partner I'm stuck with. A gift from Heimlan Champion Gottfried Haraldson, the easygoing Munchlax was supposedly a special Pokémon, raised by the Norse God himself before coming into Rorik's possession. But in reality, the two couldn't be farther apart in terms of personality: the Professor was extremely rational and cautious at all times, whereas the gluttonous beast lacked manners, was impetuous and, quite frankly, dumb as a brick. For a man whose calling was to study the miraculous power of bonds, he simply could not be having a harder time even communicating with his designated companion. Gottfried... did you do this on purpose? Annoyed, cold and in a terrible mood, Rorik forced himself to turn his attention back to the maze-like tunnels and caves carved onto the icy surface of the mountain; somehow, a strange Pykumuku had left mysterious eggs nearby, and it was the perfect chance for Professor Pine to study one of his oldest theories: that Pokémon presented to their human Trainers from the moment of birth bonded with them considerablyfaster and, in turn, became stronger than their wild equivalents. |

OkikuMew (2/3) – Regardless of what strange, mystical power this egg possessed, there was no excuse for rudeness. Proclaiming the floating ovoid a “bad egg”, Mélina decides to make her way to the Shrine of the Moon, hoping to find some well-behaved babies in the shrine's cool, dark shade.
Lunala's outstretched wings, rendered in great detail in the statue's obsidian stone, appear ominous at first; yet, as Mélina approaches the statue, there is a strong aura of tranquility, and the presence of a deep silence. Even the very act of breathing feels disrespectful in such inexplicably profound stillness, but the moon emissary's eyes are calm and oddly reassuring. Even in broad daylight, the shade is ever-present here, and the temptation exists to lie down by the statue's base and take a quick snooze... The beings here would surely find that rude though, wouldn't they? As the thought crosses Mélina's mind, Starlette's ears perk up, and the well-dressed Pikachu points to the right side of the statue. Were it not for the quiet, it would have been hard to hear, but given the environment and Starlette's cue to be on the alert, Mélina is eventually able to discern the sound of soft, gentle breathing... Something sleeping. Sure enough, hiding in the thick grass surrounding the base of the statue where the noise originates, a grey egg can be seen, the occupant inside presumably napping the day away... Upon closer inspection, there is a big, yellow heart symbol on the egg. Perhaps the baby within had a big heart, too...? Hard to tell without waking it up. Will Mélina pick up this egg, or continue her search? Kyuu-Tales (1/3) – It is often said that beloved Pokemon have a tendency to take on the traits of their trainers, and unfortunately for poor Seiko, the process has begun early for Aiolia, who is already leaping and bounding towards adventure. Seiko attempts to follow, but finds herself bounding towards a head-on collision with an icy spire, instead. The snow drifts break her backward fall, leaving her more shocked than hurt. Defeated thoughts float through Seiko's head – it seemed a bit much to think that one could find any sort of eggs in a place like this, Springtime Pyukumuku or not - but that bit of pessimism fades when she reorients herself and directs her gaze towards where her Pokemon had dashed, only to find that Aiolia has stopped his eager sprint to investigate the object that had presumably prompted the little cub's bid for attention in the first place. Slipping and sliding across the icy, jagged terrain to catch up with Aiolia, it's clear that the Litleo's attention is on some kind of oval-shaped object, partially covered by shards of ice and a smattering of snow. Giving the item a curious sniff, Aiolia suddenly jumps back, dodging as it lunges forward – looks like Aiolia found an egg, and this one's a bit of a fighter! With the snow and ice shaken from the sudden lunge, the blue and purple colors of the egg can more clearly be seen. The egg reels back, preparing for another lunge. Will Seiko choose to engage this feisty egg, or move on? |

As if on cue, the egg rocketed forward--is it possible for something that isn't even born yet to be so full of energy? The last thing Seiko needed or much less wanted was to be battered and bruised so early in her search. Fortunately, luck was on her side: Aiolia Tackled the egg hard, launching it away in the process! "Aiolia, careful!" The cub growled in protest, suggesting that he was looking out for his trainer's well-being. Seiko jumped to her feet, dusting off snow and ice from her pants before placing her hands on her hips and sighed. "Litleo! Leo!" "I know, I know. But feisty or not, it was still an egg," Seiko explained. "I can't imagine how we're going to be able to court the Springtime Pyukumuku's favor if you headbutt the eggs it leaves." She shook her head. Aiolia's expression remained bold. Seiko indicated the icy caverns uphill with a wave of her hand. "Shall we carry on, then?" The Litleo nodded and tentatively sniffed the air; after ten seconds of consternation, he tore off sprinting through snow. "Aha, a lead! Way to go!" Seiko set off after the Litleo, who she now knew could look out for the both of them. Heedless of danger, she now felt only excitement to see what else they would discover forging ahead. |

KamenAeons (1/3) ~please post in paletuquoise
Last post: here CyberBlastoise (1/3) ~please post in lightslategray With a stroke of luck you had managed to catch one of the last ferries to the Springtime island. While it would have always been possible to visit the island some other time, now of all moments was when sightings of the mysterious Springtime Pyukumuku were flying around as the latest rumours. The Easter Buneary had apparently taken a break this year, leaving the strange bunny-eared sea cucumber to pick up the slack. Scattered across the island were eggs galore in various hiding spots, though sadly most had by now been picked off by the other visitors. You were going to have to start your search quickly if you hoped to find an egg, let alone have a choice of eggs. With an obvious love of water types you headed towards one of the two coastal areas, hoping to find an egg of matching origin. Your Golett Megas however had different interests as it started smashing boulders one by one in feats of minor strength. You start crossing the terrain into the more wet and slippery parts. Hopefully no egg here would have been discovered yet. You had your hiking boots on, figuring it would help you traverse the smooth rubble. Alas, this doesn't turn out to be nearly as true when you confidently try to jump from one patch of rocks to another to dodge a fearsome Krabby, when your foot slips and you land painfully on your face. You get back up in pain, clutching your nose only to figure the Krabby had won and retreated itself when noticing the red colour dripping from your nose. Megas quickly joins your side, strangely holding onto a rather large boulder, and indicates your attention towards it. You don't understand what it is that made the boulder so fascinating to the Golett but the Pokémon swiftly punched the rock and cracked it straight through. Slabs of rock dropped to the ground and in the Golett's palm rested a tan egg with pieces of rock still surrounding the centre of it as if it were forming a collar or a bow-tie of some sorts.
