Munna Helena Bios 1-10

Helena Masters

Species; Banette (recolored; )

Age; 25 (at time of death; has since stopped keeping count)

Gender; Female

Level; 100

Type; Ghost

Tera Type; Fairy

Hometown; Lavaridge Town, Hoenn

Initially obtained by Keith; Cable Club

Evolution; >lv. 37> <>

Nature; Gentle

Ability; Insomnia (Prankster as Mega Banette)

Synergy; 30

Held item; Banettite Shifticuff

Biography; Helena was born to Patrick and Leona Masters, their firstborn child. However, the Masterses were not in the greatest of financial situations at the time, and so with heavy hearts they gave her up for adoption. Helena ended up growing up in Fizzytopia, raised by a nice enough couple in Greenmuk City, though she never did take their last name, always curious about her birth family. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when she was 25, when she and her boyfriend were set upon by a group of Team Rocket Grunts, headed by then-Executive "Shadow" Greg, who had his way with her before ending her life. Due to a miscommunication during the encounter, Helena believed her boyfriend was to blame for her life ending, and so she came back as a Shuppet with a grudge against him. However, once she learned the truth, the nature of her grudge shifted to the true root of the problem- Team Rocket. It wasn't until some time after this that she learned that the Trainer who she'd ended up with, one Keith Masters, was in fact her little brother.

Eventually, Helena came to take charge of raising an Audino Keith had come to own, though when she realized keeping Joy around was using up Keith's valuable PC storage space, she reluctantly said her goodbyes. Keith insists to this day that she didn't need to do that, but Helena was determined to not be a burden, however much she might constantly regret this decision. After briefly reuniting with Joy, who now goes by the name of Jessie, Keith and Helena had an open and honest discussion about what Helena wants, during which the Banette admitted she would like to be a Trainer again. In pursuit of this goal, Keith consulted Sunny and Ava for help in fashioning a way for Helena to reassume the form she once took in life, in a more robust way than simple Banette illusions, but reversible at the same time so that she might be able to revert to Banette form when desired. The Ninetales siblings came up with a solution they called the Shifticuffs- a pair of black wristbands imbued with memories of Helena's former life, allowing her to switch freely between human and Banette form when wearing them, though only in terms of physical appearance- she is still a Banette, and still has all the capabilities thereof in either form. Damage taken in one form carries over to the other, so this is by no means any form of shield for her.

Helena is in charge of the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center, a job that has only become all the better a fit for her since she was joined by Delight. Being a Banette, she has the added bonus of being able to taste the emotions of her patients to help get more of a feel for how they're doing.

Personality; Helena, somewhat surprisingly for a Banette, is cheerful and pleasant, polite and kind, with a reassuring way of smiling that makes you feel like everything's all right. Of course, all this pleasantness goes right out the window when she gets angry. When Helena flies into a rage, it's a terrifying spectacle, whether human or Banette. It's not easy to make this happen (unless you're affiliated with Team Rocket, in which case your very existence makes this happen, sucks to be you, sorry not sorry), so mercifully, this is a rare thing to behold.

Helena also has what her brother refers to as "the old Masters stubbornness", and she has it in spades, to the point where nobody is quite sure just how much her being a Banette has influenced this. When she's made up her mind on something, determined her next course of action, anything of the sort, changing her mind on it is next to impossible. Combined with her tendency to prioritize her loved ones' needs over her own, this tends to lead to Helena and Delight butting heads on occasion. On the other hand, this streak of stubborn selflessness makes her all the more a fit for her Pokémon Center duties, and has given Sludge Wave Coast's Pokémon Center something of a glowing reputation in eastern Fizzytopia, to the points where the residents of the town consider their Pokémon Center to be one of the safest locations in all the region.

Appearance; As a Banette, Helena looks about as you'd expect, though the zipper grin is more kindly than eerie, and the eyes are a bright, calming blue, as opposed to the usual piercing red- the eye color Helena had in life. When she assumes human form, she looks just as she did before her death. She stands at 6'00'' exactly, with the same brown hair and blue eyes she had in life, though her usual clothing was selected more recently, and differs somewhat to the color schemes she typically chose in life. Helena dresses in a tank top and skirt in varying shades of purple, as a throwback to her days as a Shuppet, and the gold buckles on her black shoes remind her most favorably of her zipper pull in Banette form. The Shifticuffs change with her to fit comfortably on her wrists. In her left one is set her very own Key Stone; in the right one, her Banettite. This seems to imply she can Mega Evolve herself, but can she really...?

~~~~ Pokémon ~~~~
Delight
Species: Audino ()
Gender: Female
Level: 4
Type: Normal (Normal/Fairy as Mega Audino)
Tera Type: Ghost
Attacks: Growl, Helping Hand, Hyper Voice, Last Resort, Misty Terrain, Play Nice, Pound, Heal Bell, Wish, Psychic, Disarming Voice, Healing Wish, Pollen Puff, Sparkly Swirl.
Next attack learned: Baby-Doll Eyes, Refresh (lv. 5)
Evolution: <>
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Healer (Healer as Mega Audino as well)
Synergy: 1
Obtained: Fizzytopia Route 1 (The Hatchery; Helena's first partner Pokémon)
Held item: Audinite Nurse Hat
Bio:
When Keith and Helena were out for a walk, talking about the latter's desire to be a Trainer again, Helena was blindsided by a random Dark Pulse from an enraged Zweilous. Keith prepared to battle it to calm it down, but an Audino ran onto the scene, quelling the situation with her Heal Bell. Keith voiced the idea of the Audino working at the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center, an idea that delighted the Audino to no end. Keith then offered a Heal Ball to Helena, telling her it was about time she got to correct what was by her own admission a mistake. Though initially hesitant, seeing Audino so eager to go with her even though she was a Banette seemed to steel Helena's resolve, and she caught the Audino. Delight is a kind, gentle soul, and is also friggin' fearless. She won't raise her voice, but her gentle tone of voice will take on a stern intonation when someone is being difficult with her. And while her preferred approach to a situation is to settle it nonviolently, she can get violent, and if she deems it necessary, she won't even hesitate. It's actually kind of insane to witness it for the first time. Though Helena knows she can rely on Delight in battle, Delight's main battlefield first and foremost is the operating room of the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center- nothing makes her happier than curing what ails her patients. She has great loyalty to Helena, and will obey her without question, unless she senses that doing something to help Helena out instead would be the more prudent course of action. Considering how stubborn Helena can be sometimes, this does cause the two to clash on occasion, but invariably they get past it.
Smiley
Species: Wobbuffet ()
Gender: Male
Level: 50
Type: Psychic
Tera Type: Fire
Attacks: Splash, Charm, Encore, Celebrate, Counter, Mirror Coat, Encore, Destiny Bond, Sludge Wave, Bide, Payback, Avalanche, Taunt, Magic Coat, Teleport, Amnesia, Gastro Acid, Revenge, Gummi Bomb (Fire), Guardian Terrain, Zen Headbutt, Sappy Seed, Poltergeist, Hydro Pump, Power Shift, Electroweb, Endeavor, Snatch, Tickle, Brain Freeze, Glitzy Glow.
Evolution: >lv. 15>
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Shadow Tag
Synergy: 30
Obtained: Fizzytopia Route 4 (reobtained on Fizzytopia Route 3)
Held item: Shell Bell
Bio:
When she was alive, Helena found a wild Wynaut out on Route 4, battled it with her Teddiursa, and caught iit, training it up and evolving it into a Wobbuffet. Upon her death, the Wobbuffet was confiscated by her murderer and turned into a Shadow Pokémon. Helena encountered Smiley alongside Teddy, her former Ursaring, during a battle with Team Rocket Executive Greg. Instead of defeating her old friends, Helena desperately attempted to get through to them, and eventually, with Keith's help, purified them. After Greg's subsequent and far timelier demise, Helena respected Teddy and Smiley's wishes to remain in the wild. Years after the fact, however, just after receiving the means to reassume her human form, Helena chanced upon Smiley in the wild, who expressed a desire to rejoin her, a chance Helena positively leapt at. Smiley is a jovial, fun-loving Wobbuffet. A bit of a clown, he tends to try various tricks, such as clever manipulation of his Counter move to juggle stuff, though results tend to vary. Being a Wobbuffet, a more passive battle style comes more naturally to him, but that doesn't mean he can't surprise enemies by taking the initiative when he needs to. He never was the powerhouse of Helena's team, but she considers him a reliable partner and a good friend all the same.
Selia
Species: Musharna ()
Gender: Female
Level: 59
Type: Psychic
Tera Type: Psychic
Attacks: Psywave, Defense Curl, Healing Wish, Ice Beam, Psychic Terrain, Lucky Chant, Psybeam, Hypnosis, Heal Bell, Psychic, Teleport, Dream Eater, Yawn, Sonic Boom, Calm Mind, Imprison, Moonlight, Magic Coat, Zen Headbutt, Moonblast, Future Sight, Wonder Room, Stored Power, Barrier, Scary Face, Gravity, Safeguard, Gummi Bomb (Fairy), Guardian Terrain, Sparkly Swirl, Sludge Wave, Worry Seed, Soft-Boiled, Defensive Shield, Shadow Mist, Corrosive Gas, Expanding Force, Ally Switch, Synchronoise, Nightmare, Telekinesis, Signal Beam, Defog.
Evolution: >>
Nature: Calm
Ability: Forewarn
Synergy: 30
Obtained: Adoption Center (adopted by Keith); The Poisonous Palace (given to Helena)
Bio:
Selia grew up hearing stories about how her kind is descended from the legendary Cresselia. She believes these tales, though rather than allowing them to inflate her ego, she instead sees this alleged legendary lineage as something to live up to, and to that end, her goal is to rid the world of nightmares as best she can. She enjoys the taste of any and all dreams, but has a particular affinity for dining on nightmares, and will gladly feast on any bad dreams beplaguing her friends, even offering herself as a pillow to ensure maximum comfort while sleeping. She gets along well with pretty much everyone and is glad to work with them to help others to feel relaxed and refreshed. That being said, however, by no means should you misconstrue her calm, serene demeanor as a sign of weakness- if the need arises, she can and most certainly will fight to defend those she cares about.
After Helena became a Trainer again, her friendship with Selia was such that the Musharna expressed an interest in joining her team. Selia never had issues with Keith by any means, but finds that her talents seem to flourish best with his sister instead.
Willow
Species: Shiftry (Recolored; )
Gender: Female
Level: 98
Type: Grass/Dark
Evolution;
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Wind Rider
Synergy: 10
Obtained: Adoption Center (adopted by Keith); The Poisonous Palace (given to Helena)
Bio:
Willow is the deceased spirit of a Leavanny who used to live in a remote forest in Unova, caring for orphaned wild Pokémon. In death, she roamed the world as a restless spirit, and eventually came to possess Millicent's log, initially merely to stop her from killing herself. The two hit it off very well, and they are now practically sisters. After years of residing in Millicent's log, however, Willow heard rumors of a Shiftry body with a vacancy for a soul like her, and with Millicent's approval, jumped at the chance to be a proper Pokémon again. Gentle and caring, Willow is at her best when helping to take care of younger Pokémon, and has proven herself to be very capable in battle in this new form. Of course, she still has a burning hatred for those who indiscriminately harm Pokémon, and will fight ruthlessly against such opponents.
Though always content to be with Keith as he was the Trainer of the Timburr that Willow considers a sister, Keith seldom actually used the Shiftry in battle, and so, when Helena became a Trainer again, Willow decided to join her friend. She takes a far more active role in helping out at the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center now, and is one of Helena's strongest Pokémon to this day.
Help
Species: Comfey ()
Gender: Female
Level: 55
Type: Fairy
Tera Type: Grass
Attacks: Helping Hand, Vine Whip, Flower Shield, Leech Seed, Heal Bell, Draining Kiss, Dream Eater, Magical Leaf, Growth, Giga Drain, Acrobatics, Grassy Terrain, Wrap, Lucky Chant, Pollen Puff, Synthesis, Power Whip, Sweet Kiss, Leaf Tornado, Drain Punch, Gummi Bomb (Psychic), Guardian Terrain, Bouncy Bubble, Soft-Boiled, Defensive Shield, Sparkly Swirl, Roost, Natural Gift, Grass Knot, Magic Coat, Ally Switch, Petal Blizzard, Tailwind, Grass Pledge, Floral Healing, Sweet Scent, Aromatherapy, Play Rough, Petal Dance, Amnesia, Alluring Voice.
Evolution;
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Triage
Synergy: 30
Obtained: Global Trade Station (traded for by Terri); The Poisonous Palace (given to Helena)
Bio:
Help likes to help. It's as simple as that. In true Comfey fashion, if she sees a person or Pokémon in need, she rushes to their aid. She proves a soothing presence anywhere she goes, helping to settle arguments whenever they crop up. Help's help is more than appreciated, and her teammates all like her very well. Especially Reassure... And even her heated rivalry with Want seems to be, deep down, more friendly than not.
Though Help was very happy with Terri, the frequency with which she and Reassure have been helping out at the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center with Helena led both Fairy-types to join her team instead. Help's healing talents have flourished all the more under Helena's training.
Reassure
Species: Florges (Blue Flower; )
Gender: Female
Level: 48
Type: Fairy
Tera Type: Grass
Attacks: Tackle, Vine Whip, Captivate, Camouflage, Giga Drain, Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, Fairy Wind, Lucky Chant, Razor Leaf, Disarming Voice, Wish, Magical Leaf, Flower Shield, Grass Knot, Grassy Terrain, Petal Blizzard, Moonblast, Petal Dance, Aromatherapy, Copycat, Calm Mind, Gummi Bomb (Psychic), Air Cutter, Thorns, Defog, Shadow Ball, Solar Beam, Tearful Look, Night Shade.
Evolution: >lv. 19> >>
Nature: Calm
Ability: Flower Veil
Synergy: 19
Obtained: Agility Meadow (Global Trade Station; caught by Terri); The Poisonous Palace (given to Helena)
Bio:
Reassure was first found by Help as she was flying around Agility Meadow in search of new flowers to pick. Following an initial minor misunderstanding, the pair of Fairy-types came to like each other immensely, to the point where the Flabébé asked to join Terri's team just to be able to go with Help. And while Help was Reassure's one and only reason for wanting to join the team, she's proven a very good fit to the team overall thus far. She comes off shy at first, but only until she's started to actually get to know you- once that's happened, she's much more personable. Despite her calm, quiet demeanor, she does not tolerate troublemakers, and has been known to have stern words with Want over the Murkrow's actions (not that this ever deterred the Murkrow, of course), and as a whole tends to help peacefully settle disputes among her friends. By and large, nothing really upsets her, though this wasn't always the case- initially she suffered from bouts of self-doubt, never believing in her own strength, though this has since all but ceased. The Florges is much more confident in herself, owing much of this to the help of, well, Help, her first friend on the team (though by now they're significantly more than that, the pair of floral Fairy-types now constituting a very happy couple). Reassure's passion lies in tending to flowers, which she and Help can usually be found doing together.
Though Help was very happy with Terri, the frequency with which she and Reassure have been helping out at the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center with Helena led both Fairy-types to join her team instead. Reassure seems to be happier than before on Helena's team, and is a huge help in the Pokémon Center.
Omelette
Species: Blissey ()
Gender: Female
Level: 4
Type: Normal
Tera Type: Fairy
Attacks: Charm, Copycat, Covet, Defense Curl, Disarming Voice, Double Slap, Double-Edge, Growl, Minimize, Pound, Sweet Kiss, Tackle, Tail Whip, Aromatherapy, Gravity, Natural Gift, Wish, Flamethrower, Counter, Alluring Voice.
Next attack learned: Fairy Wind (lv. 6)
Evolution:
Nature: Careful
Ability: Healer
Synergy: 0
Obtained: Route 8 (Global Trade Station)
Bio:
While Maribel and Helena were traversing the rough and rocky Route 8, Maribel tripped and fell, scraping her knee. Helena's subsequent first aid was witnessed by a Blissey, who was stunned at this apparent human just nonchalantly using Soft-Boiled. After getting to know Helena a bit, Blissey decided to go with her, and Helena gladly caught the Happiness Pokémon. Omelette looks up to Helena as a mentor, and hopes to learn a lot from her about healing. This annoys Delight, who knows that Helena herself still has a thing or two to learn, and the Audino believes she herself should be the one to teach Omelette. This notwithstanding, Omelette gets along well with her teammates, and even she and Delight aren't on terrible terms. They often bicker about this and that, but ultimately they care about each other.
Jingle
Species: Chimecho ()
Gender: Female
Level: 1
Type: Psychic
Tera Type: Normal
Attacks: Tackle, Wrap, Dream Eater, Future Sight, Recover, Astonish, Confusion, Entrainment, Growl, Healing Wish, Last Resort, Synchronoise.
Next attack learned: Ominous Wind (lv. 11)
Evolution; >>
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Levitate
Synergy: 1
Obtained: Yupien City (The Hatchery)
Bio:
En route to the Hatchery along with the rest of the Masterses, Helena came across a wild Chimecho who happily accepted a battle challenge. After a surprisingly intense fight, Delight threw her for a loop, allowing Helena to catch her in a Moon Ball. Jingle has a serene smile on her face, and proves a calming presence in even the most intense of situations. She hangs around in the Sludge Wave Coast Pokémon Center (quite literally!), always ready with a soothing chime to calm the nerves of those in the waiting room. That said, don't underestimate her in battle. Outside of battle she's as sweet and kind as they come, but in battle? She's vicious.
Tastebud
Species: Lickitung ()
Gender: Male
Level: 1
Type: Normal
Tera Type: Ghost
Attacks: Defense Curl, Lick, Supersonic, Tackle, Wrap, Amnesia, Sleep Talk.
Next attack learned: Rest, Rollout (lv. 6)
Evolution: >Rollout>
Nature: Naive
Ability: Cloud Nine
Synergy: 0
Obtained: Fizzytopia Route 2 (caught by Willa); The Poisonous Palace (given to Helena) (Global Trade Station)
Bio:
When out on a walk, Willa came across a wild Lickitung. Recalling how her sister-in-law had expressed a desire to train one, she battled it with her Exeggutor and caught it in an Ultra Ball, later on giving it to Helena as a gift. Helena was delighted and accepted the Lickitung onto her team without hesitation. Tastebud is very happy-go-lucky, and usually has a positive, uplifting comment to make no matter what. Whether said comment has any actual relevance to the situation at hand is another matter altogether, of course- Tastebud isn't the greatest at reading the room. Not that he doesn't care, of course- all it takes is gently correcting him to prompt a sincere and sorrowful apology. All he really wants is for others to see the little joys in life that he sees, such that everyone might always have a reason to smile. His heart is as big as his tongue is long.
Missingno. Master's Wonderful Wishlist
Want to know what I'm after? Look no further! See the list of Pokémon and items I'm after- if you got something I want, odds are I'd be willing to make you an offer for it.
Sludge Wave Coast- Keith's New & Improved Secret Base
A small mansion built in a large clearing overlooking the Sea of Fizzytopia. The place my character calls home. More to the point, a place where all are welcome to RP.
Missingno. Master's Miscellaneous Memories
Read the various stories of the everyday life of Keith Masters and his Pokémon. Ever wonder how a Seviper could save Christmas? Ever wanted to learn the secret origins of the amazing Captain Stomach? This is where you find all that stuff out.
Missingno. Master's Magnificent Masterful Matchmaking Memo
You into Pokémon breeding? Want to see at a glance if any of my Pokémon are available and OK with such a thing? Look no further- this list will tell you all you need to know, and probably at least a few things you didn't want to know, too.
The Poisonous Paradise- Keith's Secret Base
A two-story house built atop a dead tree. Is what this used to be. Now? A pit in the ground, filled with rubble, is all that remains of Keith Masters's former home. But while the house is destroyed, the memories remain intact, and more to the point, available for your reading pleasure.
